R.I.P. Tim Curry

"Don't dream it, be it.".

Rest In Peace to the iconic Tim Curry. 😭

What can we say about this ICON?

He played so many characters both on screen and off screen across all different media's.

Tim was a sweet Transvestite from Transexual Transelvania, a Wild Thornburry, Emperor of the Tainted Coil, a butler, a great singer and actor, pirate captain long John Silver, a Concierge, a clown, a devil, hexxus, Soviet Premier and so many more characters.

Even after his deteriorating health condition he was still full of wit and making comic con appearances and signing through the mail for his fans...

Now if you don't mind, I'm going to the one place not corrupt with capitalism.....SPACE!

Much love Tim, we love you and we miss you❤️

R.I.P. Jack

Recently after 15 years, my family and I had to say goodbye to our Jack🐶😭💔

I'm glad he's free of pain but still sad he's not here and I have to stop myself from asking "where's jack?". I feel like he's just gone out the back or for a walk with my dad or maybe sleeping upstairs🥹

Jack was my dad's shadow. He was a hunter dog through and through but also had so much energy and even in his golden years would snap back into puppy looney zoomy energy. He used to pounce for things and that always made me laugh and whenever he would attack his bed and make his little growls, because a Lazer was pointed at it.😂

Jack would also love to keep you company and open the door when you are in the bog or when you are trying to sleep in your room. 😂

I'll miss him always, thanks for the past 15 years of laughs and barks, R.I.P Jack❤️

Steve And The Family Indeed

Once upon a time in a town not far,
Lived a kind man named Steve, a real shining star.
One sunny day, he met a lady named Eve,
A meeting so sweet, you wouldn't believe.

Steve and Eve, a match made in glee,
Decided together, a family they'd be.
They adopted two kids, oh, so dear,
James and Aimee, spreading joy and cheer.

James loved trains, with wheels that spin,
Chugging and choo-chooing, oh, what a din!
Aimee adored horses, so graceful and strong,
In fields of green, where they'd gallop along.

Together as a family, they'd dance and sing,
Sharing laughter, every little thing.
Steve and Eve, love never-ending,
With James and Aimee, joy they're sending.

In their cosy home, warmth did bloom,
Love and laughter chased away the gloom.
So, here ends the tale of Steve and Eve,
With James and Aimee, who always believe.

For in this family, love's the key,
A story of togetherness, as happy as can be.
No matter where life's adventures may lead,
Steve, Eve, James, and Aimee - a family, indeed!

In Loving Memory Of Steve Evans

Hello everyone, so a close family friend has unfortunately and unexpectedly passed away today....this is raw to me, and I am still in shock, and it's been 6 hours (as of writing) since I had the news broken to me from my best friend James, that his Dad has passed away.
James told me last night his dad was not well and had to go to hospital. 11am James contacted me as he needed someone, so I stayed with James and chilled and chatted and tried to distract him from the uncertainty of what was going on. It was a difficult task because we were both holding out for hope and both scared and uncertain of what to do or say or how things were looking. Steve I did my best to look after and comfort your son and I will always do that for you. Anyway, what makes me so much in shock is like we did not see this coming at all, there were no signs, he was fine and then just gone?! I know not of what I am writing or the goal of this post, it's a vent, it's raw, it's shock, it's emotional and so sad.

I have known James and his family for like 20 odd years, So I have been treated pretty much like family by my best friend James and his family. Steven Evans was like a second Dad to me, I was always treated with utmost respect and love and care by him. Steve always made everyone smile and laugh. He had killer Ozzy & Borat impressions that always made me laugh and smile. Steve would always be found at his beloved Chepstow Racing Course or in the Cardiff City Stadium watching his precious Blue Birds go at it in any home game of footie. When Steve was not at his beloved places he would be at home or on the farm or out and about with James or their dogs Leo and Sam. Sam unfortunately passed a few years back now but wow what a dog he was.
Whenever I gamed with James at night, Steve would always come into James room and greet him with some banter nicknames which always tickled us all, from calling James "sadness" or "child" it would always result in a "wtf haha" moment. James would often complain of Steve walking in his room at random points just to let a ripper off (a fart). Life doesn't make sense sometimes how good people can just be taken away with no signs, no indication that something isn't right. Never thought Steve would leave us, let alone this early in life, 60 is still too young.

The last interaction I had was Steve was upon leaving James house Thursday night/Early Hours Friday morning after Steve picked me and James up from seeing Electric Callboy in Bristol. I thanked him for taking me and giving me a lift home and said take care, and I'll see you soon. He said the same to me. I always made sure to thank him and treat him with the most utmost respect and politeness, he was a man that deserved the best and nothing else. On any car journey or trip James and Steve would play Yellow Car and also a game they made up where you make a sentence up from the last 3 letters of a car's reg plate and now that game always provided such laughs. If I was ever a bother or burden or annoying, please know, I am so sorry Steve.
This is the last photo I have of Steve.

I have no idea when the weight of this will sink in for myself, let alone James and his family. I keep expecting to hear someone say that it's some sort of prank or lie, but It does not seem to be happening, like James said to me, "this feels like some sort of sick dream I am waiting to be woken up from" and same here James....same here....

Furthermore, I wish I could have hugged and thanked Steve and told him, I loved him and how much he means to me, before he left this mortal plane. I hope he knew. I hope James and his family will be as OK as they can and that Steve can look out for them from beyond this world too. I am so sorry James. Please know I will give as much space as possible to the family and do whatever I can to help out, whenever I can. I am so sorry for your loss and I will love and miss him forever and always cherish the memories that I have of the legendary, Steven Evans.

REST IN PEACE JASON DAVID FRANK!

We are almost a week removed, and it's still shocking and sad that we have lost the legendary JDF.
We knew him best as a power ranger, an actor, a martial artist, a world record breaker, a comic con regular. Whether his colours were Green, White, Red or Black we all knew and loved this Ranger.

JDF played the role of Iconic TOMMY Oliver in TV shows, movies, video games, toys and even comics for over 29 years! Jdf played Tommy Oliver in 1993 and his last appearance on Power Rangers was in the 25th anniversary cross over episode a few years ago.

Jason had a heart of gold and a vulnerable soul. He would always take time out to help others and to meet every single fan even when time limits were reached. Everyone he met left his presence with happiness and joy.
I met JDF in 2015 in London Film & Comic Con. I journeyed with my best friend James all the way from Aberdare to London for a day just to meet JDF himself. It was well worth it. We had a lovely short time with JDF and came away with autographs, happiness and a photo of our childhood hero. Jdf made me love the colour Green and Power Rangers in general. As a child I had this big Tommy Green Ranger doll I'd take everywhere with me, it was like my best friend haha. I always wanted to be Tommy or like Tommy. Minus my lack of martial arts experience I am exactly like JDF I would say just based upon the heart of gold we have.
I've had a few interactions with JDF on social media over the years one time he called me a good dude and I have never forgotten that, and I never will, it means a lot to me. My childhood hero said I'm a good dude, so I well and truly am, surely.

He is survived by his wife Tammie and his four children - Hunter, Jacob, Skye and Jenna. Jason's Dojo's the Rising Sun Karate schools will also be kept open. Frank's final film, Legend of the White Dragon, is due out next year.
I've made posts on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok regarding JDF and his passing and what he meant to me. My TT video: https://www.tiktok.com/@scotty2jonesy/video/7168335004618018053?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7106311132273116677

R.I.P. Grampa Dillon

A month ago on the 13th August 2020. Tragedy struck me and my family once again this year as we suddenly and shockingly lost my beloved Grandfather. It's been a hard and challenging and very upsetting scary year. This one still has me just in so much disbelief. I have attended his funeral and it hit me so hard then but i am still filled with such shock and disbelief as i continue to grieve.

I don't quite know what to say, there's no words😭😞

Honestly I'm shocked and I'm sad at the sudden loss of my Grampa. Grampa Dillon was a wonderful intelligent funny man, he introduced me to Batman, Wallace & Grommit, Motorbikes, RAF and even to TNA (even if he was channel flicking and seemed to be just going woah what the hell kind of ring is that? Its got 6 sides).

He was a tall man, a great man, a gentleman, the best Grampa and I'm gonna miss him loads. 😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I dislike this year so much, it's taken so much away from me, life has not been fair and it's been tough to walk in my shoes this year😖😥😞😢😭😩😫

R.I.P. GamesMaster Mag

Sad times ahead. My favourite magazine publisher has shut down. Gamesmaster magazine has finished publication printing after 25 years.

GamesMaster is a monthly multi-format computer and video game magazine published by Future plc in the United Kingdom. It is the biggest selling multi-format video games magazine in the United Kingdom, outselling its sister publication Edge, But Future has announced it will be closing the magazine on 1 November 2018. The magazine was launched in January 1993, to complement the television show of the same name. While the show has since ceased broadcasting, the magazine has carried on.

I never got to watch the tv show sadly but I owned my first GM mag back in 2002 with Spider-man on the cover. My collecting and obsession of the mag didn't then exist until I became a regular reader from 2008 onwards, so I've been a loyal reader for 10 years. I've submitted many letters, emails, Facebook posts, twitter dm's etc into them over the years. I've gotten in many times and even won their star letter once. I have kept all of my gm appearances in a scrap book because it's memories and just awesome i made it into their magazine it's a true honour among the gaming community I believed.

It's truly sad to see them go, GM not only gave me great gaming insides and knowledge but also gave me a platform via their social media pages to interact with and meet many new friends along the way. Many of which I am still in contact with such as James Davie, William Golding, Ryaan Sandham, Darren Emery, Greg Atkins, Layla Griffiths to name just a few! Love all the friends i have made through GM, if they end up reading this well hello there haha.

So hey go pick up the latest and last ever issue of GM. You'll see my small review of #Spiderman in it too!

Thank You GM for bringing such great memories. From the friends I've made through mutual love of the mag to the free gifts and all the knowledge you have given to us your noble readers.

#THANKYOUGM #GAMESMASTERMAG get those trending and say you're thanks and post memories you have of them please, let's get it trending as a tribute to our fave magazine.

Rest In Peace (rap) original lyrics

Yo yo
What up?

Here comes the 1
here comes the 2
here comes the 3
You gonna bow to me?
This aint heresy!

1
2
3
4
Go

They say i aint real, i'm a fake
How do they know when they can't tell plastic from reality,
They think they know it all, they think they do it all,
Can't touch what you cant afford,
You take and beg for more,
The Selfish generation,
Liars and theifs,
Killing people for no need.
Criminal's wear suits as terrorists are being made to boot.

Scare tactics,
Geriatrics,
No cure can fix this fucked up world,
Our fucked up minds,
Fuck things up so much more than we should,
Are you blind?
Can't you see?
Won't somebody tell me?

Fuck War,
(Fuck War)
Live in peace,
(Live in peace)
Someone tell me why we got to die just to rest in peace?
(Rest in peace)

People claim to have things they do not have,
All to look cool or to be cared about,
Depression,
Anxiety,
You cant even feel the shit that's real,
So what's the deal?,

Living too much with our faces glued to phones,
Starving ourselves to a bag of bones,
To fulfill others interests of beauty,
Instead of accepting our own true bounty,

Bargain and gain,
That's the name of the plain,
The land of which makes us human,
Taken from others,destroyed and mutated,
Are people trying to make new man?,
Making the Earth unlivable,
You should be ashamed of what you've done,
Littering,abusing,shooting innocents with a gun,

Fuck War,
(Fuck war)
Just live in peace,
(Live in peace)
Tell me why we got to die just to rest in peace?
(Rest in peace)

All lives matter,
We are all human,
The only race there is,
Be good to eachother,
Be excellent,
Be good to your animals,

Don't torture,
Don't bewilder,
Don't swipe that girl on tinder,
Ask her out with your mouth and energy,
Captivate the essence of true beauty,

It's everywhere in the world,
It's what makes me, you,
It's what makes you, me,

Fuck War,
(Fuck war)
Live in peace,
(Live in peace)
Why we got to die just to rest in peace?
(REST IN PEACE)

It's so easy to see,
How one gets lost in this world,(You know?)

Horrifying images, stories of doom and gloom,
Swirl a great mass,death looms,
Forget about it and be like a flower and bloom.

Ride now,fly now, live out the life you want,
Go do something and bring some good back to the world,
Lord know's we need hero's now more than ever,
Not just the men and women who gave their lives for others in the art of war,
Decent human beings giving back, helping out their fellow man, that's what for,

So fuck war,
(FUCK WAR!)
Live in peace,
(LIVE IN PEACE!)
Why do we have to die to rest in peace?
(Rest In Peace!)
You tell me, come on and tell me.(fade out)

R.I.P. John Hurt

Sir John Vincent Hurt
22 January 1940 - 27 January 2017
May your body and spirit rest in peace but may you also live on forever in your films and roles. Thank You.

Here i will be showing images from my fave performances of John Hurt's career and also post some quotes from him and his characters.

John Merrick: I am not an elephant! I am not an animal! I am a human being! I am a man!

John Merrick: People are frightened by what they don't understand.

“Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame.” ― The War Doctor

Sutler: I want this country to realise that we stand on the edge of oblivion. I want every man, woman and child to understand how close we are to chaos.

Professor Trevor 'Broom' Bruttenholm: In the absence of light, darkness prevails. There are things that go bump in the night, Agent Myers. Make no mistake about that. And we are the ones who bump back.

Professor Trevor 'Broom' Bruttenholm: What is it that makes a man a man? Is it his origins, the way things start? Or is it something else, something harder to describe?

Such an iconic scene Hurt as Kane really helped kick off a huge sci-fi body horror genre i mean body horror as Aliens features chest bursters which is indeed body horror for me. Space has not felt so scary nor has encounters with other life forms until this film and scene.

Thanks for reading this, remember to comment, share and like and to follow my blog and follow me on google plus and other social media sites for more :)
Thank you!
Scott.
