Deadpool & Wolverine - Fox Swan Song (FILM REVIEW)

Alright so after an agonising long wait, we finally got Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen and our fave honey badger Australian in his iconic yellow suit. Joygasm!!!!🥵 Anyway time to explain the film's story and then touch upon my thoughts, LETS FUCKING GO!❤️💛❤️
Deadpool & Wolverine picks up few years after Deadpool 2 and Wade is retired and trying to live a normal life. However, Wades abuse of the time jumping and fixing has caught the attention of the TVA (some time line police agency for marvel) and so TVA tell Wade his universe is dying so Deadpool is forced to put on his big boy pants and has to save his world BUT we all know Deadpool only stops mini events at world domination and nothing as big as a world saver so Wade goes on a journey to recruit a Wolverine with attitude. Is it a good wolverine or a bad one he finds?🤔

On his time jumping journey we bump into familiar faces aswell as new and unexpected ones which is sure to get fans of all ages of all backgrounds excited and minds blown and their pants full so to speak😂 While trying to save his world our buddy's Wolverine and Deadpool scrap a few times and also run into Cassandra Nova and her band of mutant villains from all across the fox Xmen universe! Ooooh scary. Cassandra Nova is a pretty scary villain, she's an omega level mutant and she is the twin sister of a famous X-man. (I won't say more incase people don't know).🧐

So it's up to Deadpool and Wolverine to work together to save our "sacred timeline" but they are going to need a whole army to take down the likes of Cassandra Nova and her villainous mutants but who are they going to recruit? Find out by watching😊
So, the film I thought was great and basically fox's last stand or swan song essentially as we say hello and goodbye to their universes as Disney/Marvel owns the majority of them now. We have fabulous music choices and exciting over the top and hectic action sequences in between all the jokes and 4th wall breaks. The opening sequence was beautiful.

The action I felt was way too fast and I couldn't keep up at the best of times so another viewing is worth it to keep my eyes on someone else moving and killing in these action packed scenes. Cameos are good and in abundance, they should have not spoiled any of them in the trailers and some they did keep under wraps, thankfully. The action Choreography was incredible even if it was hard to keep up with watching. Shawn Levy did an incredible job with this film.

Wade and Logan are great and funny as always and as we could have ever imagined. The mouthy quippy whippy Deadpool meets our no nonsense stoic Wolverine and the characters are exactly as you expect. I wish we had some more time with our DEADPOOL friends from past two movies.

Lots of swearing and blood and gore. Here's hoping Deadpool is marvel jesus and ressurects the MCU otherwise I think MCU needs to do some more trimming and kill characters and films and things off to do a reset and hopefully focus on better stories and characters and overarching story telling.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the Spider-Man no way home of Deadpool and Wolverine's big screen outtings. A final send off to Fox's era of superheroes and an overall great movie.
9/10
Go enjoy it BUB!

Top 10 Superhero Animated Shows

Superheroes are everywhere, and who has not ever dreamt or wanted to become one?
So come with me and get your capes on and mask's down, as it is time to fly around and list my top 10 fave Superhero Animated shows!
10: Ben 10
"Ben 10" is an animated television series created by the group "Man of Action" and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The original series premiered in 2005, and since then, the franchise has expanded with various sequels and spin-offs. The "Ben 10" franchise has evolved over the years, with multiple sequels and spin-offs, including "Ben 10: Alien Force," "Ben 10: Ultimate Alien," "Ben 10: Omniverse," and "Ben 10 (2016)." Ben 10 has had some tv movies/crossovers and live action movies too! The series explores themes of heroism, responsibility, and the consequences of wielding great power. Ben's journey involves not only battling villains, but also learning to use the Omnitrix responsibly. "Ben 10" has resonated with audiences for its engaging storytelling, diverse set of characters, and the imaginative concept of a young hero with the ability to transform into powerful aliens. The franchise's continued success reflects its lasting appeal to viewers of all ages.

9: Invincible
The most recent series on my list will be the more adult themed superhero show Invincible. "Invincible" is an animated superhero television series based on the comic book of the same name by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker. The show was produced by Simon Racioppa for Amazon Prime Video and premiered in 2021. "Invincible" addresses mature themes, including morality, identity, and the consequences of power. The series delves into darker and more complex aspects of superhero storytelling. "Invincible" stands out for its gripping narrative, well-developed characters, and a willingness to explore the darker aspects of superhero lore. It has been praised for its mature and nuanced approach to the genre, making it a notable addition to the superhero television landscape.

8: Powerpuff Girls
When I was a child other boys would usually look at you weirdly if you watched "a girly" show like Powerpuff Girls, however it was actually excellent and IF those people who looked down on the show bothered to watch an episode they would get a lot more out of it than what they thought. "The Powerpuff Girls" is an animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken. The show premiered on Cartoon Network in 1998 and quickly became a popular and iconic animated series. Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup help inspire a generation of children with their strong, independent female characters. "The Powerpuff Girls" is celebrated for its humour, unique characters, and its positive representation of strong female protagonists. It remains a cultural touchstone in the world of animated television and has retained its popularity over the years.

7: Teen Titans
T-E-EN T-I-T-ANS TEEN TITANS LETS GO! The show that made me love the young group of superheroes is the Cartoon Network first run of the show. Mature story line and good laughs and memorable moments made this show so good and really put TEEN TITANS ON THE MAP! "Teen Titans" is an animated television series that premiered on Cartoon Network in 2003 and ran for five seasons until 2006. The show was created by Glen Murakami and Sam Register, and it is based on the DC Comics superhero team, the Teen Titans. The series features a memorable soundtrack, including the opening theme "Teen Titans Theme" performed by Puffy AmiYumi. While "Teen Titans" concluded its original run in 2006, it has remained popular through reruns, home media releases, and streaming services. The series is praised for its engaging storytelling, well-developed characters, and unique approach to animated superhero content.

6: X-Men Animated
Without this show, I probably would not have known or heard or cared about the X-men. Awesome metal theme song that was so catchy with its screeching guitar. Memorable characters and moments. The show introduced me to Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops, Jubilee, Magneto, Gambit, Cable, Sentinels, Mutants, Professor X, Jean Gray and so many more! "X-Men: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1997. The show is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, the X-Men, and it became one of the most beloved and influential animated adaptations of the X-Men franchise. The iconic and memorable opening theme, composed by Ron Wasserman, is one of the most recognized and beloved theme songs in animated television. The show's success led to the creation of various X-Men merchandise, including action figures, comic book adaptations, and video games. "X-Men: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its faithful adaptation of the X-Men comics, its engaging storytelling, and its contribution to the cultural prominence of superhero animation in the 1990s.

5: Superman animated
"Superman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that aired from 1996 to 2000. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series is part of the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) and serves as a companion to "Batman: The Animated Series." and also the next entry on my list. Tim Daly provides the voice for Superman/Clark Kent, Dana Delany voices Lois Lane, and Clancy Brown voices Lex Luthor. The strong voice cast contributes to the series' quality. The show has the same distinctive look and feel as JLU and Batman Animated Series. The series introduces new characters, including the sympathetic villain Mercy Graves and the superhero Steel (John Henry Irons). The musical score by composer Shirley Walker adds to the epic and emotional tone of the series. "Superman: The Animated Series" is considered a successful and well-received adaptation of the Superman character. It contributed to the enduring popularity of animated superhero shows in the late 20th century.
The series has continued to be appreciated by fans for its faithful representation of Superman, its engaging storytelling, and its contributions to the broader DC Animated Universe.

4: Justice League
Not to be confused with it's sequel JL Unlimited, The series explores the dynamics within the Justice League as these iconic heroes come together to face powerful threats that no single hero could handle alone. The series features a notable voice cast, with Kevin Conroy as Batman, George Newbern as Superman, and Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, among others. Compared to previous animated adaptations, "Justice League" adopts a darker and more mature tone, reflecting the tone of DC Comics in the early 2000s. "Justice League" is considered a landmark animated series that brought together DC's most iconic superheroes. It paved the way for the expansion of the DC Animated Universe with the sequel series "Justice League Unlimited."  After two seasons, the series was rebranded as Justice League Unlimited, a successor series which aired for three seasons. It is the first series in the DC Animated Universe to fully use digital ink and paint, also the first to be produced in widescreen starting in Season 2.

3: Batman Beyond
I was a big fan of this growing up, and I need to rewatch it Terry was such a breath of fresh air to Batman and I need more badly of this show or a live action film or something more to continue or reboot it please. "Batman Beyond" is an animated television series that aired from 1999 to 2001, and it serves as a continuation of the Batman animated series franchise. Created by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett, "Batman Beyond" explores a futuristic Gotham City and introduces a new character taking on the mantle of Batman. The series is set in a future Gotham City, approximately 40 years after the events of "Batman: The Animated Series." Technology has advanced, and the original Batman, Bruce Wayne, is now an elderly man. "Batman Beyond" introduces new villains alongside some familiar faces from Batman's rogues' gallery. The series explores the impact of futuristic technology on crime and vigilantism. Will Friedle voices Terry McGinnis/Batman, and Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The continuity in voice casting helps bridge the connection to the previous animated series. "Batman Beyond" received acclaim for its fresh approach to the Batman mythology, blending noir aesthetics with a futuristic setting. The series has maintained its popularity over the years and is considered a standout in the realm of animated superhero storytelling. Happy 25 Years To Batman Beyond!

2: Spider-Man (90s animated series)
Growing up, I was a big fan of Spider-man and the number 1 spot on my list. It's a shame we never had more of this amazing show. The "Spider-Man" animated series from the 1990s is a classic-animated television show based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It originally aired from 1994 to 1998 and is widely regarded as one of the most beloved and iconic adaptations of Spider-Man in animated form. Unlike some animated series of its time, "Spider-Man" embraced long-form storytelling, with overarching plot lines that extended over multiple episodes. This allowed for more in-depth exploration of characters and story arcs. The series had crossovers with other Marvel characters and storylines, introducing viewers to characters like the X-Men, Iron Man, and The Fantastic Four. The series is well-known for its catchy theme song, composed by Joe Perry of Aerosmith. The theme song is often considered one of the most recognizable and beloved animated series themes. "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its engaging storytelling, memorable characters, and its ability to capture the essence of Spider-Man's comic book adventures. It remains a nostalgic favourite for fans of both Spider-Man and animated superhero television.

1: Batman The Animated Adventures
OK growing up to no surprises I loved and binged these top 3 but the most I watched and had action figures of was from Batman. "Batman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1995. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest animated series and one of the best adaptations of the Batman character. Created by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski, the series is known for its unique visual style, mature storytelling, and iconic voice cast. The series is renowned for its distinctive Art Deco-inspired animation and design, giving Gotham City a timeless and atmospheric look. We had all of Batman's rouge gallery appear, but also we had a brand-new star arrive and breakout from the series one we all know and love named Harley Quinn. This show had a star-studded cast, the iconic Kevin Conroy, the legendary Mark Hamil and Arleen Sorkin. The show won many emmy's. Shirley Walker provided the Danny Elfman inspired soundtrack from the Batman 1989 film. The influence of "Batman: The Animated Series" extends beyond its initial run, with its legacy evident in subsequent Batman adaptations, animated series, and the broader landscape of superhero storytelling. It remains a beloved and influential cornerstone of animated television.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse FILM REVIEW!

Alright, let's do this one last time.....Let's follow Miles Morales as he navigates his life balancing school and being your friendly neighbourhood Spider-man. It's been a year since Miles entered into the Spiderverse now he's going to go on a journey across it, to stop the menacing SPOT! The Spot may look like your average weekly cartoon villain of the week but don't tell him that because he will lose his mind and unleash hell upon you because he's a slippery devil to catch, let alone fight. Miles ends up with old friend Gwen going to different realities trying to stop Spot all the while meeting many other different Spider-Men and Spider-Women throughout the 2 hour 16min feature animated film.
My god the different animation styles are insanely gorgeous and just so brilliant from all the different spider-peoples and their worlds. Gwen's in particular has some of the most beautiful blends of colours which reflect moods and emotions and the goings-on in the world and story perfectly. Hobie Brown aka Spider-Punk is a show stealer with his ever-changing animation! There is about 20 mins of flashbacks and reminders to the last film just to show you that all this came from some just unthinkable out-of-the-box foreshadowing, I have ever seen in a film. The Butterfly effect in this film is insane, the attention to details the animators and writers and directors had for these animated films is extraordinary and out of the park. The story is quite dark and mature for a family friendly film, but don't worry there are jokes here, and they are genuinely funny. There's so much I could say, but I want to keep this spoiler free. My faves are Miles, Gwen, Peter B Parker, Miguel O'Hara, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India, Spot and I know it's like I could name all the characters, but honestly they are all so good and the great writing and voice actors support it so much. There were some sound issues to start the film when I watched this, but It was not to a point where, I needed there to be subtitles haha.

Miles is fantastic as usual with his gripping story and how he balances life and spider-man. All the voice cast here are just excellent you know, I can't say enough of how good a job they have all done! All the cast and crew behind this film need a massive pat on the back for their outstanding efforts towards bringing us not only one of the best animated films and spider-man films ever made but also Spider-man stories! Daniel Pemberton kills it once more with his original OST! Metro Boomin with their licensed soundtrack is also a massive hit! Animation, music, soundtrack, voice cast, story are all outstanding, and I am willing to 100% say PHENOMENAL!

10/10!
This is in the league of the best Spider-Man films ever made and spoiler alert.......this was only part 1 of the two part Spider-verse films. March 29th 2024 cannot come quick enough!!!! Honestly I don't know what else to say. If you are a Spider-Man fan, you will love it. If you are not a Spider-Man go watch into the spiderverse first because you will be blown away! I got a video review on my youtube channel!

Thanks for visiting my blog true believers!

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 - MCU's Saving Grace Review

I laughed, I headbanged, I cried, I laughed, I cried, I headbanged and cried again. James Gunn's trilogy of Marvel masterpieces have come to an end. Ladies and Gents this is MCU's saving Grace and this is the end of the perfect trilogy and perfect run of characters the MCU has ever had. James Gunn helped save the mcu, and they should be so thankful and grateful for him.
Basic plot for GOTG3: Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect Rocket from the evil twisted villain The High Evolutionary. The team are in a race against time and if the mission is not successful, this will be the end of the Guardians forever.

GOTG3 is a heartbreaking, dramatic story full of heart, laughs and action! The High Evolutionary is the MCU's best villain! He's an evil bastard you detest from his first scene to his last. I see the good in Thanos plans, and he may have taken the most lives in MCU but High Evolutionary is a totally evil, twisted, maniacal bastard compared to any of the rest of the villains in the MCU. Everything in this film was well acted and crafted from its story and actors. Thank you to Gunn and all the cast and crew of all the guardians films for giving us the best films ever. The soundtrack as always for a guardians film, is top tier!

This is the first MCU film I've seen in cinemas since Multiverse Of Madness. It feels like this was the real deal, it felt like a big blockbusting, cinematic piece. All the previous films since Endgame have been lacklustre and boring and drained of the entertainment and heart to me personally. Now it's time for James Gunn to go and save the DC Universe.

A letter to Marvel Studios

Dear Marvel Studios & Disney & Kevin Feige,

I'm not being funny but your content is taking up a lot of room and you are making it impossible to catch up on all your tie in stories because of so many characters and TV shows aswell as movies.

Your content is very over saturated and so is the superhero movie genre especially to audiences of 12A please cut it back. Also if possible when making new hero shows please make it a 5 episode deal and also realise not every hero needs a TV show or even a film.

The time travel business was lame from Endgame and you also undid a lot of your best moments which was high stakes in killing off characters only to bring them back and also you guys made foolish mistakes in "snapping out" characters to just reveal "these guys are fine we got contracts signed for movies coming out for them after next avengers" so that ruined the illusion of anyone significant actually staying dead.

The multiverse inside the MCU is already feeling too full and convoluted and unnecessary and I hope to god with the new Dr strange film that they leave it all be then at the conclusion of the film. Yes it's nice and a cash grab to see and hype films based off the old marvel character cast like Tobey and Patrick Stewart but it's beyond time to move on from there and take risks and chance to recast characters. We need a new black panther and new xmen and so on. More confined solo films would also be nice.

Just like the lovely marvel comics not everything is connected or set in the same universe and being able to pick comics up and just jump in is nicer on the eyes and mind as compared to jumping into a film and realising most of the story and changes to a character happened in their own TV show of which you never had an interest in.

Comics and movies translate differently. Focus on good story telling and acting and less cgi lens flare heavy handed endings and with better writing for your villains and change your trope formula up and I may just be interested in the movies or shows again.

I was only interested in new Spiderman due to Tobey and all the old cast of villains. Other than that you had nothing of interest for me since you drafted Holland into being Iron Boy and not Spiderman, which made me resent and hate your MCU Spiderman to my core. Holland did well in the new Spiderman film its just funny that he had to lose everything to become God damn Spiderman and by himself however. Maybe Sony will handle the creative better. Well its not as if Venom movies were any good or Morbious will be spectacular either.

The fandom of MCU is a headache too. Anyway Too long didn't read, here's my issues and it's great to get it out and to address them.

Sincerely,

A Fan.

Top 10 MCU Movies (2008 - 2019)

The dust has settled and i feel it's time to do this list. I am only doing films from 2008 - 2019 at the moment okay, i know the mcu is ever expanding every year and superhero fatigue is strong but disney gonna milk that sum bitch dry of all its money til the money stops rolling in. So let's open the multiverse up and rank these suckers.
10: Ant Man
The movie that taught us never to underestimate any small superhero again, and made us want to buy some Ant-Man comic books. Entertaining and funny. The relationship between Scott and his daughter is also lovely and touching to watch.

9: Iron Man
The one that started the whole idea of a shared cinematic universe. Totally deserves the respect it gets. Robert Downey Jr. absolutely nails it as the arrogant, yet caring, Tony Stark. It's very entertaining and light hearted.

8: Avengers Age Of Ultron
Of course i wish Ultron could have been done and designed better but i still very much enjoyed this film.

7: Iron Man 2
The best iron man sequel, not that its saying much but i found this witty and very enjoyable from its character work to action scenes to soundtrack but the final act is messy.

6: Captain America: First Avenger
This is a really fun movie. Although not perfect, it's a film that anyone can just sit down and watch without having to google the previous 12 movies to decipher who all of the characters actually are and have a good time.

5:  Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2
Not as good as the original but still very entertaining and still makes this list as one of my faves, I love how much they flesh out these characters and the larger universe too.

4: Thor Ragnarok
This movie is so entertaining and exciting and the effects are really good, best Thor movie in my opinion.

3: Guardians Of The Galaxy vol:1
A great story, cast, soundtrack just no doubt about it, this is one of the riskiest moves for marvel which paid off so darn well. It's one of the best!

2: Endgame
I loved Thanos as a villain between this and Infinity War, I loved his final death. He knew he lost, he just sat down and took it like a man, no crying or last words. Great movie, but I preferred Infinity War, this had too many plot conveniences and the hype did not fully deliver for me but as a whole the fan service in the film and the imagery and cast and music is so good and has many fave moments of all time in the mcu for me in this.

1: Infinity War
This was a PERFECT culmination of 10 whole years and was, undoubtedly, a masterpiece. Josh Brolin did a REMARKABLE job as Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy and I'm glad we got to learn more about him in this movie. I loved the interaction between the characters and the actors' chemistry with each other, especially those who hadn't met beforehand! A villain so hard to hate is a great villain also. So yeah i feel this is the best we have had from MCU at this point.

So that's my top 10 MCU films, did they stack up to your liking? What is your 10?

What did this list cost?..............Everything.
Stay Shiny folks!

Marvel Spider-Man Ps4 Game Review - Wall Crawlingly Good

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does what ever a spider can? But can he procreate like a spider can? HMMMMMMM? Is he strong? Listen bud, he's got radioactive blood. So does his blood glow? Hmmmm. Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead, Hey, there! There goes the Spider-man. In the chill of the night, At the scene of a crime, Like a streak of light he arrives just in time. Well then why is he always late to his work or college or school life huh?, Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighbourhood, Spiderman. Wealth and fame, he ignores, action is his reward. Ahem, well with all the crime fighting he does he does not ignore fame he is famous he has been given the key to his city and other things time to time so come on now he does not ignore fame does he? Look out, here comes the Spiderman. Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighbourhood, Spiderman
Wealth and fame, he ignores, action is his reward to him, life is a great big bang up, whenever there's a hang up, You'll find the Spiderman!
Alright I got the classic theme song to fill us into the intro for my review, if that don't make you happy, I'm not sure what will.

Anyway, here we are at one of the biggest, long awaited games in recent times and it's selling a shed load and breaking charts left, right and centre with reviews blaring positivity and SPOILER ALERT! My review too will be bursting with positivity for this spectacular, amazing astonishing game. It's a safe bet to expect spoilers so read with caution as great spoilers contain great responsibility.

I will try to make this as spoiler free as possible!
Right from the start the graphics are photo realistic and just there's so much detail and love put into this game, it's beast and gorgeous to look at on the standard ps4 so i cannot imagine the difference on the ps4 pro.

The score is also lovely it's just like the mcu music it compliments the game so well and when the score kicks off when you are diving from buildings or swinging around it makes you feel like a superhero!
The gameplay - The swinging is perfect no quarrel it's still more or less the same system implemented from Spiderman 2 game which was the webs connect to buildings and you're swing the momentum works like a pendulum which is how he swings aswell more or less. So you know it's perfect, it can be very fast depending on momentum and it's an addiction and so satisfying to swing about through the bustley big apple in the day or night.
Combat is good and fast and can be expanded upon with the use of our skills and upgrades and gadgets so it can be a bit deeper. I feel the combat could be expanded upon with more moves for example you remember those webbed gloves you could use for extra damage in old spiderman games or that web cocoon move, i loved these two and to see them again be cool but you know they should or could be in the sequel if we will get one anyway. Stealth gameplay is fine perhaps a bit more could be added to that aswell but like i said overall combat is fine. Only sides i am iffy with is the parkour and the wall crawling like it does not always work or when it does it's awkward with awkward inverted controls or camera while wall crawling but hey it's nothing major to worry about. Also after a while i have found the combat gets a bit boring but this is at the point where i have finished the story and am now going through all the crimes in the districts so you know it's not a straight away thing.
There's Puzzles in this and they are smart but simplistic and i did enjoy doing them and i only struggled on a small handful of them but you can skip them if you want but i did not.

Photo mode is a blast honestly every few mins or so i seem to be using it and creating screenshots for fun and sharing them with my friends and just the general public in general, i love the mode. Also fun fact the photo's you see here are all from me in photo mode in game.
There's a lot of costumes to be unlocked and some i love some i don't really care for or use you know but i appreciate the effort and the designs and the powers more or less all the suits come with. My most used is White Spider just because it's original and different but this game i admit has made me love Tom Holland's outfit now. Just looks so good in this game.

The environment as i said is lovely and it's chocka block with side quests, collectables, towers, bases and photo ops to discover and unlock and collect,  for the most part in my play-through i have done the side quests and collectables more than the story. After i collected all bags, towers, black cats, kingpin bases and side quests then i moved onto the next chapter of the story to act 2 and i'd do the same in act 2 more time spent doing side quests than doing the main story it's fun. Side quest in terms of the bases do feel the same and there's not a lot of difference in the bases really so that can get repetitive.
Voice acting is great. Like all the emotion is delivered and these characters don't feel robotic so you know great stuff and they just feel or seem real!

The story is something we have not gotten before, sure the iconic characters old and new are here well some anyway because you can't fit them all in one single game of course. Right from the get go you could tell what you're about to play is something special with Alive blasting from the Warbly Jets it's just an immense start to one hell of an immense experience. This story has elements we all know and expect drama, the unbalanced but relatable life of Peter Parker and the heroics of a superhero of course but it's put on a pedestal to be a worthy competitor to the MCU since it's style is very in keep with that universe but it's not set there it's set in its own. Spidey is full of humor as you could expect also. You do also play as other character in the game which are Mary Jane and Miles Morales and their sections are very stealth based but fine to play the pace only slows down during these bits but the pace is replaced with tension. Not to spoil anything but the final mission and ending broke me, i was an emotional mess with many tears shed. The relationships built between characters is amazing and all feels so realistic and it puts your heart in there you feel for these characters. Also after the credits there's two post credit scenes one made me smile and warm and happy and the other had me wide eyed and ask so many questions.
Spider-Man is back and back in force with Playstation's greatest if not one of their greatest games and exclusives ever made. This generation of gaming has been stamped Sony because they have slayed the gaming scene with their constant hard hitting exclusive games.

After completing this game i recommend you all buy the prelude to the game book called Hostile Takeover.

Thank you Marvel, Sony and Insomniac for bringing us the best spider-man game to date!

Solid 9/10!
BRING ME MORE, I WANT SPIDER-MAAAAAN 2!!!!

Top 10 Spiderman Costumes

*Thwip thwip* Oh hi there, it's me your friendly neighbourhood 1stMetalGod! Just here blogging once again this time with Spiderman and my fave costumes of his!
Some spider costumes on my list wont be all by Peter Parker.....tell me who is your fave spidey!

10) Superior Suit Mk2
To make himself a better Spider-Man, Octavius designed a new suit similar to the original Spider-Man suit, but with some modifications, these being that blue on the original costume was now replaced with black, the design of the symbol on the back was changed, the web design on the mask (mainly around the nose) was changed, the design of the belt is spikier, the lenses on the mask were now made of glass and could show a Heads-Up Display, all of the fingers on the gloves have retractable claws on them, and the big toe on both boots is separated from the rest of the foot and both have retractable talons. He further modified it, lacing carbonadium in the mask to prevent a mind-switch, a built-in communications device to activate nano-spider-tracers, and creating "spider-arms" on the back; as a possible homage to his previous identity. I think this one is very similar to Ben Reilly's suit and i like both a lot but there's something about this one that makes it here.

9) Iron Spider
Before the events of the Superhuman Civil War, Tony Stark fabricated a new red and gold costume for Peter, utilizing much of the same technology used for his Iron Man suit, with the main difference being the suit's mesh-like quality. This new suit provided Peter with advantages he never had before in other costumes, such as radio transmission scanners and receivers, multiple biological sensors for himself and others (such as EKG readings, pulse rates, etc.), multiple vision settings, deflection of small caliber firearms, enhanced strength and limited gliding capabilities. The Iron Spider costume also provided Peter with three retractable pseudo-arms, named waldoes, though they weren't ideal for fighting. If Peter ever felt that he would like a change of pace in his appearance, Stark also built in a feature for the costume to change its appearance at Peter's will. This was an ideal feature for Peter because he never had to worry about trying to hide his suit in public. We also got our first live action sneak peak at the suit in Spiderman: Homecoming and it looked nice but was missing the arms.

8) Stealth Suit
Spider-Man created this suit to combat the Hobgoblin's sonic screams; the suit warps light and sound around it, rendering it invisible. It was later changed when Kaine had it.

7) All-New, All-Different Spider-Man 2099
When Miguel joined Parker Industries, Peter created a new Spider suit for him. This version glows red, and can change colour. The suit material is Unstable Molecules bonded to kevlar to increase durability immensely. It has better-integrated "light byte" material to improve gliding, and thrusters integrated into the boots for launch. Distance offensive capabilities are provided by "spider-saucers" running down the sleeves and integrating into the gloves, and the suit also has on-board sensors for complete vicinity readings. I love the design of the suit more then the original.

6) Noir
Set in an alternate Earth during the great depression Peter found his Uncle was killed and wanted revenge. a spider statue – breaks open and releases a horde of spiders. One of the spiders bit Peter, causing him to pass out and dream of a spider god. After waking up, Peter discovered he possessed arachnid superpowers. Donning a mask, Peter confronted Norman Osborn in his home in order to get him to give up his hold over the city. However, Peter was shocked to discover Urich, who was revealed to have been blackmailing Osborn with his information on the mob boss in exchange for fueling his drug habit. Angered, Peter left Urich. Upon returning home, Peter created a costume based on his uncle's World War I-era airman uniform and became the vigilante, Spider-Man. This suit is really unique and i love it!

5)  Cosmic Spider
After defeating the Tri-Sentinel, the Uni-Power chose to remain with Peter Parker, apparently due to his heightened sense of responsibility. Spider-Man soon came to see his old sparring partners as pedestrian threats, dispatching the likes of Venom and Hobgoblin with little effort. His sense of responsibility led Parker to attack larger and larger problems in the world, ignoring his personal responsibilities and his wife, Mary Jane. This continued until he tried to alter the basic earth and weather patterns of Africa to make it lush and arable. This brought him into conflict with Thor and then Doctor Doom, who wanted to steal the Enigma Force using his Absorbascann. Doom tried using Captain Universe's original host, Ray Coffin, as a hostage, but Parker let him die while trying to get at Doom. Spider-Man realized the Uni-Power was corrupting his sense of responsibility and expelled it. The Uni-Power briefly entered Doom, only to discover it was a mere Doombot. As Spider-Man became Captain Universe again, he used the Absorbascann to release the power of the Enigma Force from his body over the entire world. The cost was his spider-powers as well as the Uni-Power, leaving Peter Parker a normal man. Or so it seemed until he and Mary Jane gave birth to a baby daughter with signs of the Uni-Power within her. I always thought his outfit was very unusual, unique and cool.

4) Future Foundation Suit
This suit was created for Spider-Man when he joined the Future Foundation following the death of the Human Torch. It is made from Unstable Molecules, thus it can repair itself, never get dirty, and change its appearance.

3) Spider Armour Mk3
Created by Peter Parker with Horizon Labs vast resources to fight the Sinister Six if needed in a last resort. When Doctor Octopus started his last master plan before dying, Spider-Man knew he would have to use it to stop Octopus' attempt to speed up the Greenhouse effect. The design on this is sic!

2) Symbiote
During the Secret Wars, Spider-Man's costume was torn during battle and he was sent to a machine that would repair it. Unknown to Spider-Man, the machine was actually a prison that contained an alien symbiote, which copied Spider-Man's thoughts about the costume worn by Spider-Woman, and created a duplicate of it. Both during and after the Secret War, Spider-Man learned that the costume could respond to his thoughts, change its shape, and create a seemingly unlimited amount of organic webbing. However, after wearing the suit for some time, he began to feel unusually tired and consulted his friends, Reed Richards and Jonathan Storm. Richards said that the suit was actually an alien creature and that it was taking him web-swinging every night while he slept. Spider-Man then had Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch remove the costume using both a sound wave generator and fire, as its only weaknesses are loud sound waves and intense heat, and locked it in a protective case. The suit eventually escaped and hung itself in Peter's closet, disguised as one of his red and blue costumes. Unfortunately, Peter grabbed the symbiote and it reattached itself to him, which forced Spider-Man to use the bells housed in Our Ladies of Saints church to remove the suit. Many issues later, the suit secretly found and bonded to Eddie Brock, who became Venom. I know there was no need to explain this suit as everyone and their grandmothers know the story but it's still awesome and the story gets changed a lot and this is the official first comic story of the suit.

1) Classic Red & Blue
Of course this is number 1! This is the traditional suit that Spider-Man has used throughout his career. It is made from a skintight cloth, most likely Spandex or similar. The costume is mostly blue with red gloves, boots, mid-section, and mask. Peter designed a web pattern that covers the red portions of the suit, starting at the mask. The suit also has a black spider in the centre of the chest and a larger red spider on the back, both of different designs. The mask has plastic lenses with a chrome covering that allow Peter to see out, without letting others see in. The lenses also protect Peter's eyes from dust particles and the glare of the sun while he is swinging through the city. In addition, the mask helps to conceal Peter's identity by muffling his voice, thus making it unrecognisable to others. He also wears a twin set of web shooters on his wrists under the gloves. A web cartridge belt is also worn under the suit, which has a spider-signal on the buckle. The suit also contains a special ear-piece that protects Spider-Man from the effects of Hobgoblin's sonic attack. Spider-Man has recently updated the lenses of the suit to protect himself from Iguana's hypnotic stare.

Which suit is your favourite?
