Electric Callboy LIVE in Bristol 02 Academy - 26/10/23 REVIEW

Myself and my best mate James attended the ELECTRIFYIN' Electric Callboy gig in Bristol which was sold out but if you ask me, they went way past sold out capacity! I have attended many gigs in Bristol 02, and they have all been sold out BUT this one was just busier than I have ever seen it. First time at a gig I did not purchase any drinks or merch because of how busy it was!
Opening the show was Monuments a band whom I had never heard of before BUT I was thoroughly blown away, and I was captivated by their high energy crisp sound of metal. New fan right here and if you like In Flames I think you will like this band too. Monuments setlist was as follows; A.W.O.L, I the Creator, Leviathan, Cardinal Red, False Providence, Makeshift Harmony, Degenerate.
Next up was As Everything Unfolds, yet again another band I knew nothing about, but they were great and had again a lot of energy and good sound. They are basically a metal version of Paramore is how I would describe their sound. To me, they were alright and should have opened. AEU setlist was as follows; Ultraviolet, Slow Down, Hiding From Myself, Flip Side, Twilight, All I've Ever Known, Felt Like Home, On the Inside.

While we waited for Callboy the crowd was treated to BANGERS! Yes awesome songs everyone knows and loves and sings along to, a security guard on the stairs and the crowd were singing to each other, sort of like a serenade at points due to the gestures' haha, but it's all good fun and shows how high our energy levels were.

FINALLY time to get HYPA as Electric Callboy enter the stage with some crowd testing issue from our Tekkno Train conductor on the screens. We are hyped and we are ready to board! Chug chug chug along with the fun german tekkno metal rave! Full of outfits, confetti, cannons, laughs, German, metal, rave, blast beats, catchy choruses and just all round fun as they bring a lot of energy and feed off the high energy sold out crowd in attendance. Electric Callboy were phenomenal and performed 18 songs in a stacked setlist - Tekkno Train, C Thunder II (Dancing Like a Ninja), Spaceman, Hate/Love, Everytime We Touch (Cascada cover), The Scene, Castrop X Spandau, Arrow of Love, Drum Solo - Darude Sandstorm, Hypa Hypa, Parasite, Let It Go / I Want It That Way, Hurrikan, Fuckboi ft Charlie Rolfe of As Everything Unfolds, MC Thunder. Encore: Pump It, Mindreader, We Got the Moves.

All in all an EPIC NIGHT of music and the crowd atmosphere was incredible! I need to see Electric Callboy in an arena next! Also need to keep an eye on Monuments.

Ghost Live in Birmingham April 15 2022 - Review

April 15th 2022
I am in the car and on my way to Birmingham with my best mate James Evans to go see the awesome band known as Ghost! I cannot wait! I cannot believe I am actually going to see them!!! I absolutely loved their new album and I love them!

The Birmingham Resorts World Arena is where I am today at seating near the frickin stage with James to see Ghost, it's a massive beautiful building and it is slowly filling up as we all await to hear a night of great music. The bar charges me £7 for two 500ml bottles of Coke, I feel as if I have been robbed ahaha.

Anyway here comes the first band Twin Temple. A very weird unique and pretty cool band I have never seen nor heard of before. They tell us all to raise our horns and to say "Hail Satan!" and we all do as you do because Satanism is not as bad as you think. This is a mad mix of music I have no idea what to think of Twin Temple, Satanic Ska Metal? Satanic female fronted Madness band basically.

Time for a quick piss break before Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats come on and oh......it's super busy I cannot move yet get to a pisser, well I will hold it in and pee later....

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats are here and they say they are going to ruin our night? Well they were fucking fantastic because it was very much Black Sabbath meets Rush. Doom slow heavy metal instrumentals with the higher vocal style of Rush. That is what they basically sounded like and I really enjoyed them, headbanged quite a bit to them actually.
Oh here go the lights and a roar of the crowd deafens me for here come the clergy and the one and only Papa IV too! Pyro, confetti and, of course, some classy costume changes from Papa Emeritus IV, making his UK debut. Ghost have given us a party and what a hell of a party this is with a massive steller stacked setlist! Papa Nihil is here!!!! What a sax solo and like that he is gone again! When the fire works goes of it makes a hell of a deafening bang and when the fire goes off you can feel the heat from your seat and I cannot imagine how hot it must be on stage in all of Ghost's regalia when the fire balls hit! The Ghouls mess around whilst Papa has a quick costume change and we are met with Iron Man, god bless you Birmingham! Enter Sandman is played and it's the best most unique cover of this metal classic! Square Hammer is here to close this amazing set which has been nonstop and holy shit was this one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
Ghost Setlist: Imperium, Kaisarion, Rats, From the Pinnacle to the Pit, Mary on a Cross, Devil Church, Cirice, Hunter's Moon, Faith, Spillways, Ritual, Call Me Little Sunshine, Helvetesfönster, Year Zero, Spöksonat, He Is, Miasma, Mummy Dust, Kiss the Go-Goat

Encore: Enter Sandman, Dance Macabre, Square Hammer

Save The Cinema - Film Review

In 1993 one Welsh town had a hell of a fight on it's hands, a fight to save their cinema. Hairdresser Liz Evans campaign's against the closure of Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre against the plans of the towns corrupt mayor and what follows is a true story and a feel-good story, full of drama, laugh's and heart warming inspirational moments.
The cast which includes; Samantha Morton, Tom Felton, Wynne Evans, Rhod Gilbert, Erin Richards and Jonathan Pryce are so good and these fantastic actors stood out the most to me and I also enjoyed Susan Wokoma as Dolly who provided a lot of the comic relief in this film.

The locations are gorgeous and of course they would be it's the green, green grass of my home aha. This film makes you appreciate the sense of community and community spirit with how the story and the length of Liz Evans and her family and what they went through to keep this pillar and landmark to still be standing to this day in the heart of one welsh town. Kudos to the non Welsh actors in this cast as their accents are also brilliant and pretty spot on and I for one was entertained and smiling wholesomely at them all and at this film and story overall. Not to give much away but this cinema was saved thanks to someone pretty big in Hollywood with one iconic cinema classic blockbuster from 1993 which helped saved the Lyric thanks to headstrong Liz Evans.
I watched this lovely film with my girlfriend in Neath's Gwyn Hall Cinema along with a small crowd (due to current covid restrictions). We both really enjoyed this film and left the cinema smiling and feeling good and we would love for more people to see this film.

Brilliant feel-good film
You can watch this film on Sky and see it in some UK cinemas too.
I hope to visit Carmarthen one day and to see The Lyric Theatre in person too!

Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you too watch this film and enjoy it as much as I did.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train - Film Review - Thrill ride!

This film kicks off where Season 1 ended, Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive to their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time. Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train.

The 45 mins I would say felt like an elongated episode so it's what fans can expect from the animation and humour, set up, characters, music so on but then the rest of the film and even some moments in the first half just stand out completely in the beautiful scenery and fluid action shots and animation that demon slayer has inside its self to become a rising household megastar in the making. The animation, action, music, score, voice acting is all just a pure 10/10.

There is one thing missing which fans have come to know and love and which has also made this demonic anime stand out and that's the villains or rather demons and their sympathetic backstories but hey maybe some villains are just evil and have no stories for why they are how they are and just because they chose to be and that is what we will learn and that is fine, not all evil can be sympathetically explain perhaps is my rational thinking here. Despite that one little loss of sympathetic villainy backgrounds, we do have great touching and emotional moments still. From start to end it's a thrilling ride aboard this demonic train with almost everything fans here have come to know and love from Demon Slayer!

I was only introduced to this amazing anime series, quite recently and wow is all I can say, because this series is amazing!

Seriously, do yourself a favour and boot it up on netflix and enjoy the series!

Anime returns to the big screen here in the UK with a HUGE BANG!

Random Ramblin's 45 - May Rant 2021

 Rant time!!!!!

I'm frustrated with some stories and so I'm going to just post my angry thoughts here about them to keep me sane and not from exploding in myself. It's mental health week and itv is good boy for always promoting "Britain get talking" yeah let's talk about all our feelings let's be humans and let's just rant too its normal and healthy. Anyway....

The uk gov can't keep us under their thumbs, it's like a soap TV episode where some baddie be plotting takeover to keep everyone quiet because if not they will pass flu on to everyone and kill everyone as they promised and made threats to, in order to control everyone and they  the baddie makes themselves out to be "The greater good" by trying to make themselves appear to be a good guy when really they are salt of the earth.

The UK gov are so stupid for Inviting other variants over by letting anyone from any country into ours because they care more about tourism or rather TEH MONEH! The UK needs to take note of New Zealand tactics and lock down borders ffs. This is getting ridiculous and I will not live my life locked up and restricted, if I wanted that life I'd go to jail myself and I'm not the only one in UK who feels this way and I'm sorry but I have to say it.

Further more with the jail note. Reports on news was saying "Prisoners are campaigning for vaccine because they don't feel like they are being treated as human beings and a part of society" I'm sorry but they did bad shit and for a reason, are removed and not apart of society anymore and should just leave them there but vaccinate the staff working there because only way prisoners could get covid is from staff bringing it in, in the first place. Again I'm sorry but had to say something, I can't feel bad for people in jail unless they are falsely jailed.

TV rant, the friends reunion for months has been built up on "it's a new episode" and then lots of pointless celebs announced for it and then people are saying "it's just a sit down chat" so they've falsely advertised this for months so pardon me for feeling resent towards this "reunion episode" now.

Cardiff wanting to demolish motorpoint arena for a canal has me annoyed. RCT council wanting to destroy things and replace with houses which may I add are thrown up and tend to lack some safety checks and features is wrong too and annoys me. They want to get rid of a bridge to put another bridge in, further down in Aberdare, it's a bit daft so is the new Heads of the valley road proposal and don't get me started on how ugly the environment is looking with so many trees destroyed around RCT. And don't get me started on irresponsible people who are reckless drivers and the people who start forest and wild fires they are pricks.

All drivers just like all people have a duty of care, it's just a shame so many people are shallow and idiotic to forget about that duty of care.

Peace to everyone! Try to have a good day, I feel better for ranting haha. Thanks for reading!

Charity Awareness Post 2020!

Hi there,
I would like to raise some awareness and post links to charities which I have donated to and I love their work so here it goes.

Miscarriage Association
There's a word besides Lockdown and Covid 19, I have heard more of this year than any other and that is Miscarriage and there are so many stories of so many going through it and I can tell you now, it's not nice, and it's not easy, and it's got no full recovery from just like any loss you have to go through in life. - https://www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/about-us/the-charity/

Beluga Sanctuary
I LOVED watching John Bishop help save and relocate the two Beluga Whales on ITV earlier this year, Little Grey and Little White are so beautiful and cute and amazing, and I just want the best for them, and I am still following their story and if you want to help or know more go to the link - https://belugasanctuary.sealifetrust.org/en/

Dementia UK
Dementia is a horrible disease, I donated to them earlier this year when I lost my nan as I felt such a strong urge to donate to many charities actually, it's horrible to lose anyone and to know we have organizations and people out there looking for cures is amazing, but they need our help and donations to continue, so I mention them and link them here for this reason - https://www.dementiauk.org/

Marie Curie
Is a charity whom's services have helped my family a lot in the care and attention of my Dementia stricken Nana and the care of her in her last years of life so of course a massive shoutout and thanks to them and please give them anything you can or just learn more about their amazing work! - https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/

RNLI Lifeboats
Without the RNLI so many lives would be lost at sea every year, these brave volunteers are always on hand to help and save others and I support the Quay West crew and the service as a whole - https://rnli.org/what-we-do/lifeboats-and-stations/our-lifeboat-fleet

Sea Shephard
Are protectors of our oceans from illegal activities and they have done some amazing work - https://www.seashepherd.org.uk/

Raf Museum
I respect and love the RAF and their museum is amazing I shopped at their online shop to support them and I wanted to do this in memory of my late Grandfather who worked for RAF so go support and grab something lovely here - https://www.rafmuseumshop.com/

There are indeed so many great and amazing charities out there but I only chose to list and name those who have meant a lot to me this year so please do check them out, tell them you got referred to from me and let's just be excellent to each other and hope 2021 is a great year.

Where's The Humanity!? (original song/poem)

How many times have we played this game?.
How many people have lost their names?,
How many more will have to live and suffer?,
How many more until the rich and corrupt are bored?,
WHAT'S THE SCORE!?,

Where's the humanity?!,
Sending our brothers to fight wars,
Wars the corrupt started in order to steal,
They drain our allies lands for oil and gold,
And all we have to pay for is in blood,
Where's the humanity?!,

Shell after shell,
Body after body,
Lay lifeless across the lands,
And it's all for what?,
This is not what humanity should stand for!,

Where's the humanity?!,
How many more have to die,
For king and country,
Send them over the top and wish them the best of luck,
Where's the humanity?!,

Die, die, die!,
The mini-gun's spin as they come to take your life!,
Die, die, die!,
So many people wounded cry,
Die, die, die!,

LOOK ME IN THE EYES!.

TELL ME IS THIS HUMANITY!?,

HOLD ME CLOSE WITH A KNIFE,

LET ME DIE!,

TAKE MY LIFE!.

We are not bulletproof,
Explosions happen and a troop all lose their limbs,
Higher ups like to try to fix the injured,
Only their corruption tell's them to send them back out to die,
Live to suffer and suffer to live!,

Where's the humanity?!,
Signing young men up to die,
Taking shrapnel to our eyes,
Ten ton hammers of steel strike,
Incineration is the signal fire and 50 cals burn our eyes,
Where's the humanity?!,

Where's the humanity?!.
Is it beneath those in power to care?,
When will they stop sending in the boys to do their deeds,
Will they ever help our veterans off the streets,
Or will they add us all to one mass grave!?,
Where's the humanity!?

Random Ramblin's 40 - WHAT?! CORONA LOCKDOWN!

Hi there, you join me in the comfort of a dark room, sipping upon blue wkd with some synthwave instrumental music on in the background. Comforting right? Oh yes i agree. Anyway it has been a while since i did a RR but here we are back again!

There's been a lot to write about but i have expressed my worries, rants, concerns and feelings into my gorgeous girlfriend instead, so i aswell as she could take a load off our heads and just get back to feeling good and moving in a rhythm. BUT lately this year, well hey, we are at the end of April and for me this year has been............TERRIBLE!

It's a shocking, upsetting, depressing, year and my mental health has fluctuated a whole lot!
I won't go into everything that has happened this year but; I have lost my nan, lost someone else close, had arguments, we are in a world emergency crisis and locked-down so unable to see my woman or any of my loved ones or friends, I've had toxic people try to control me and my mrs and one tried to use us as scape goats and that my dear readers is not what a friend is or does, regardless of history with said person you do not do that to a friend or anyone ever!

So yeah this lockdown has come to be and it's added more stresses and more cracks are being unearthed in my foundations of mental stability. I am cracking under all that i have gone through this year, i am cracking up under all this lockdown and quarantine nonsense, i'm cracking, i am breaking.

Each time i think or say it cannot possibly get any worse, it does something happens and makes me breakdown uncontrollably and cry or feel angry or frustrated. The most dangerous thing right now in all this lock-down is being locked inside our minds with the negative thoughts.

We all need to take care and go gentle on ourselves!

I am a grown ass man and i have my feelings and i am very much in tone with those feelings i am a highly sensitive person and i am not ashamed to admit that i feel things and that i cry. I recently for the first time in my life cried in my shower that's how broken things are for me at this moment in time as i type all this out loud, as i cry again from my head being such a horrible force to go against me, it feels as if its trying to ruin things trying to make me not have nice things to sabotage my own happiness like.

It's fucking insane!

It's insane to feel so broken in yourself too. It's crazy to feel insecure about yourself but also so highly emotional and to be a person with such strong empathy like myself its bloody hard too. It's hard when you feel so much that you care so much about every single little thing and how you must want everything to run perfect and smoothly too but it does not so you make back ups and back ups of back ups and so many back ups that you are backed up of back ups.

Got no work, can't see my mrs, family or friends, I can't really go anywhere and do anything because it's only shopping or exercise locally or face a fine or possible jail time in this crisis.

Only thing good about the Corona-apocalypse is the memes.
People need to stop hoarding items mind you and stop lighting grass fires and stop fly tipping!

I am living with so much trauma and grief right now.
I hope you are doing better than me.

I will be bright as a diamond again soon!

Remember to stay shiny!
Better days are coming!

WOS (WORLD OF SPORT) Wrestling ITV - Episode 1 Review 28/7/18

"This is the dawn of a new era! The jokers, clowns gone, but only the best, brightest and dedicated athletes get on this platform. WELCOME TO WOS WRESTLING!"
The episode start's strong with the booming voice of WOS GM Stu (FKA: Wade Barrett) Barrett echoing throughout our tellies with a video package playing showing these great talents in slo-motion with the atmosphere building and shows the action, the talents warming up and showing the fans all hyped up. We are then welcomed by Alex Shane and So Cal Val and I must say it's so refreshing to have a female commentator on full time for a wrestling show and not have a team full of men, having grown up with the Attitude Era of then WWF to now in WWE, TNA, NJPW, ROH and so on it's so common to have full team of male commentators.

Stu comes into the ring to cut a promo on the return of WOS and the glory of British wrestling today quite frankly and how the clowns, the idiots, the jokes are gone and only the best are to enter this prestigious ring but he is quickly cut off by WOS Heavyweight Champion fan favourite GRADO! Grado is considered to be the modern era Big Daddy of WOS. Stu is not happy with Grado smiling and prancing around as her enters the ring whilst fans cheer and chant for Grado. Stu reluctantly shakes Grado's hand. Grado looks at Stu and say's how he thinks that Stu is thinking how much of a joke Grado is and that he is not in good shape. Of course Grado admits he does not go to the gym he walks his dog twice a day hey sometimes even three and he does it with pride and he also wears the WOS title with pride. Stu definitely has it in for Grado as Stu declares that Grado is not what Stu see's as the future of WOS as he announces the first match.

A 5 man elimination match, winner gets to face Grado in the main event for the title. Out comes Rampage, Sha Samuels, Crater, Justin Sysum and Adam Maxted and the match gets underway. Crator gets to work taking all of the men down forcing the rest to work together to take him down. Maxted was apparently on Love Island as we hear about it several times with some good wise cracks coming from Val like "Perhaps he should go back to that Island" and Crator get's disqualified by not letting go of Maxted while the ref counted and before swiftly making his way to the back Crator goes for all the others again inflicting pain and destruction in his wake. Sha and Rampage seem to be teaming up taking on Sysum but Sysum comes back taking both out with a double clothesline. Sysum goes to the corner and takes out Sha and Rampage again with a cross body. Sha and Rampage's team up goes awry following a failed double team attempt with Sysum quickly pinning and eliminating Sha. Rampage runs at Sysum but Sysum quick steps out of the way enabling Rampage's shoulder to hit the ring post as Maxted comes back and quickly tries to pin a distracted Sysum but fails. Maxted and Sysum show off each of their agility in the ring it's quite a spectacle. Sysum goes for a dive but of course it's too much high risk and Sysum does not get all of it as the ref counts to 10 Sysum gets in the ring but Rampage is pushed back into the ring by Sha and the ref is confused as Stu announces both men will be in the main event for the WOS title against Grado. Great start to the night with this match.
Next up we have what's set to be an amazing bout with British Bulldog Junior taking on the aerial assassin Will Osprey. Now before we get into this match Will Osprey is a legend he is a living superhero with the things he can do in the ring simply phenomenal British talent. Action gets underway with Bulldog showing his strength but Osprey is showing his speed and his agility but Bulldog is also agile when he shows he can kip up. Bulldog is so strong the crowd chants one more time for a body slam and Bulldog gives us another and then get's Will in a vertical suplex for what seems like minutes. Bulldog plays dirty going for the legs of Osprey but Osprey does counter into a pin but fails but Osprey then rebounds off the ropes for a cheeky pele kick taking down Bulldog. Osprey goes for a springboard and hits it and then signals for the end by doing a some sort of spiral flip, I have no idea what that move is called but that was insane but he does not get the pin again. This match is so close it's so good! Crowd loves this match too.
Osprey screams trying to put away Bulldog he is frustrated but he goes to kick Bulldog but gets countered but then runs up Bulldog trying the pele kick again but gets countered into a delayed German suplex but he still can't put Will away. Bulldog tries again but Osprey lands and kicks Bulldog in the head but as Osprey runs the ropes hoping to take out Bulldog, The British Bulldog counters with a nasty clothesline taking out just decimating Osprey and OSPREY KICKS OUT OH MY GOD! THIS IS AWESOME! SERIOUSLY OH MY GOD WHAT THE WORLD WAS THAT IT WAS SOME SORT OF INSIDE OUT STANDING FLIP! AMAZING PURE AMAZEMENT THIS MATCH IS! Alex Shane on commentary continues to call Osprey a wizard. Osprey goes for a flip off the ropes to Bulldog but Bulldog catches him and goes for a powerslam but Osprey escapes and delivers a dragon suplex to Bulldog. Will is showing strength but he is wincing every now and then from the pain delivered to his leg by Bulldog. Osprey goes from the corner hits a spinning kick on a downed Bulldog and goes for the pin 1, 2, WOAH IT WAS SO CLOSE! Osprey looking to finish by going up top, tried a 450 splash i think it was but Bulldog put's his legs up hitting Osprey and Bulldog has him this has to be it for Will and after that Will still kics out but now Bulldog hits a sit out power bomb and WILL STILL KICKS OUT! THIS IS AWESOME YES I AGREE CROWD! Bulldog takes Osprey up the top but Osprey is fighting back as Osprey escapes and hits a "cheeky fernandos kick"? Bulldog still on the ropes. Osprey jumps at Bulldog but Bulldog catches and jumps off the ropes! VICIOUS POWER SLAM AND THAT'S IT THAT IS THE END OF THIS MATCH! OMG THIS WAS A HELL OF A MATCH MY GOD! That was a hell of a story these men told in the ring a story of speed vs strength it was nonstop awesomeness.

We go backstage to see Rhys and Sabian cutting a promo on how they are the best tag team in WOS and that they are going to win the tag title tournament and become the tag team champions.
Tag team tournament kicks off now with, Rhys and Sabian vs Kirby and JOEEEEEEE HENDRYYYYYYYYYY! Joe is another fan favourite getting everyone to wave their hands side to side. Hendry and Sabian go at it first both showing off their technical wrestling abilities. Hendry tags Kirby in following a tag team move but Sabian gets Kirby in a headlock slowing him down as he continues to get the better of Kirby but Kirby mounts a quick comback and tags in Hendry again. Hendry gets stopped by Rhys outside of the ring as Rhys gets tagged in then. The double team is proving too much for Hendry he needs to tag in Kirby soon or this won't end well. Kirby is distracted by Sabian and Hendry accidentally bumps Kirby off the apron whilst the dastardly duo of Rhys and Sabian keep Hendry out of his corner and down on the mat. Hendry is being pumped up by the audience as he continues to kick out and not give up as Sabian and Rhys keep delivering with their tag team moves dominating the ring. Sabian goes for a dive but Joe moves out of the way and tries to tag Kirby in but Kirby leaves the ring saying Joe is a cry baby and that it's his match alone now but Hendry is fired up nonetheless and fights on 2v1 and Hendry does a fallaway slam to both men wow most impressive. Hendry shows off his wrestling skills once more getting Rhys in an Ankle lock but Sabian dropkicks hendry enabling the duo of Rhys and Sabian to team up and successfully pin Hendry. Not a bad match. Sabian and Rhys are a most impressive team.

MAIN EVENT TIME! Triple Threat for the WOS title. Rampage V Sysum V Grado. The action kicks off with Rampage taking on Grado. Sysum also takes out Rampage out of the ring infact as Grado starts the infamous cult classic wrestling chant EASY! EASY! EASY! Haha a chant not heard in a long time. Grado bumps into Sysum trying to fend him off with high kicks as Sysum and Grado then shakes hands but Grado pulls Sysum in for a headlock but Sysum escapes the hold as Grado shoulder barges into Sysum and Sysum does not move as Sysum tries it on Grado, Grado moves out of the way causing Sysum to fall flat on his face, which was pretty funny. Grado and Sysum play fun and games with easy chants galore and even Grado applauding Sysum landing a backflip. Here comes Rampage to break up the fun and games....and he gets set out of the ring again by these two. Sysum slides through Grado's legs and then is pulled out of the ring by Rampage and is attacked by him there. Grado pulls down his straps goes outside on the apron runs and HE JUMPED OFF THE APRON ONTO BOTH MEN TAKING THEM OUT! Grado gets Rampage in the ring tries to pin but to no avail. Rampage elbows Grado down and then get's Grado into a suplex hitting that, he pins but oh a 2 count. Rampage hits a side suplex on Grado pins but again a 2 count. Sysum is coming back  and shoulder dives into Rampage getting him down as Sysum legs it to Rampage GRADO COMES OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A WEE KICK and now Rampage tries a piledriver but fails and GRADO COMES OUTTA NOWHERE WITH A CUTTER! GRADO TRIES TO PIN RAMPAGE BUT SYSUM BREAKS IT UP! Sysum goes up top 450 to Grado thats it surely, Rampage throws Sysum out of the ring as Rampage sets Grado up for an implant ddt and oh no that's it! NEW CHAMPION RAMPAGE!
Next week we have a ladder match and the tag tournament continues but that's not all as next week they crown the first WOS WOMENS CHAMPION!

Wow well what a show, sorry but the second match was the best of the night but hey great show certainly made an impact!

ICW Cardiff 5th November 2017!

Oh my goodness, oh my lord, oh holy fucking shit! So as the title above states i attended my second ICW show in Cardiff's Tramshed and it was off the fucking chain! Icw i have been following since BBC did a documentary on the company back in 2014 i think. ICW is the best British wrestling company in history!
First of all i went with me best mate James and we had VIP tickets which meant we can go in earlier than any one else and we got to meet the ICW tag champs The Marauders, Jimmy "Fucking" Havoc, Chris Renfrew and Jack Jester! Not only that but because we had VIP tickets we got to sit ringside and have a free shirt too!
The matches were overall insanely good, never a dull moment. Sure i think as a crowd to start we were not so lively but we all then woke up pretty quickly and fired everyone in the ring up and pissed some off too but hey it's wrestling, we are fans and we are fucking Welsh so we are a lively dedicated bunch!
To top the icing on the cake off we also had a surprise appearance from Pete Dunne the WWE Uk Champion and then another HUGE surprise in the form of the legendary game, king of kings, cerebral assassin himself Triple H!
The place went absolutely ape shit for The Game! My jaw dropped i could not believe it! In fact when Mark Dallas said Triple H everyone was in disbelief like "What? No fucking way!" as Triple H's theme was playing and then out he came through the motherfucking curtain and holy fucking shit it was the most unexpected shocking surprise i have ever seen and for years i have wanted to see this legend in the flesh before my very eyes and there he fucking stood a couple feet infront of me! I was just oh man i could not believe it, if you could have seen my face oh it would paint a million pictures and get about 1.2 Million Likes on Instagram easily it was just wow i can not believe it, the atmosphere in Tramshed holy shit, videos do not do it justice!

Mother! - Film Review

Slow, Interesting, Complex, Disturbing & Horrifying!

Mother!

It's lovely in style and in it's cast and the brave direction and writing but I'm disturbed I even sat through this. Well my hands were scratching my head and just holding my face as I was utterly shocked by what I was watching so it got me reacting and had me thinking a lot about what is occurring.

The first half was interesting and my mind was running around investigating trying to piece the film together and figure out what sinister thing is hiding underneath the bright colours onscreen.

The second half just fought back against my detective mind and threw it against the wall and stood on it and jumped on it repeatedly as the film played out to its conclusion.

It's 18 for it's strong violence but it should have also added strong disturbing scenes to it's content advisory. I seen the trailers before hand and I was really interested because it had great actors and there was Aronofsky attached so I knew it was going to be interesting and good.

The film is not bad by anymeans as I appreciate it's style and just being original and doing things I've not seen in a film before and that's brave!

Mother!
Gets a 5/10 from me.

The film to me is disturbing and horrible in the nature of the content in the last act but it's also complex and interesting even if it is a bit slow to begin with. If you suffer from any post traumatic stress don't watch this film. If you do decide to watch it, please be aware of its violent nature.

If you were intrigued by the trailer or from my review then see it. Please remember it is graphic and disturbing and that I warned you, as this is not a film for everyone.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WITH POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

After seeing the film and going home to write this i decided to watch some behind the scenes and interviews with Aronofsky. It is a deep film which is biblical and about life it's self or so i believe. I now understand a lot more and the idea Aronofsky went with and it's a good point and it's really interesting to bring it to life in this way through this film.

FUN FACT: Darren Aronofsky said it took him 5 day's to write this film script!

That's all from me on Mother! What did you think of the film? Let me know.

Thanks for reading, see you next time, stay shiny. :)

Travel Diaries: London.

So here we are back on this random ramblin welshman's blog and a new segment perhaps is launching in which i document my travels? Oh i don't know about that i rarely go anywhere exciting and i have never left the UK for a holiday in my life. Some will find that fact a real shocker but you shouldn't as it is severely rare to see me sunburned. It has only happened twice maybe three times to me. Might go into that bit later but that's not what this topic of travel is about.

This one is about the three times i have been to London. So i hope you enjoy and to break it up for you, i will be adding some pictures so enjoy and comment and like and all that good stuff at the end of your visit to this post. Bit of a head's up also all views are my own.

LONDON!
A city i have been to three times, the city full of rich history both dark and lovely and the capital of the UK. London is home to the Queen, Olympics, Prime Minister, Big Ben, The London Eye, The Shard, Tower Bridge, The dungeons, Madame Toussauds and The Houses Of Parliament to name just a few famous places and people.
I'd say London is the city where people have no patience for the busyness of the city life. Everyone is in a hurry and if they get slowed down, well they tend to kick off and this is only from observations of people i have made in my travels to the big city and it does not reflect on anyone or everyone in or from London. I will say again as ever these are my opinions and thoughts and they don't reflect everything or everyone just my own opinions and thoughts as i said.

THE FIRST TIME
The first time i went to London was back in mid July 2014 for London Film & Comic Con with 5 of my friends. It was a great first experience my first trip over the Severn bridge into England so i was taking in all the sights on a 4 hour taxi trip. The main point of the trip or rather, the point which inspired us to take the trip was the fact it was Stan Lee's last UK convention and we all wanted to meet him. Did we get to meet Stan Lee? Nope. Why? The queues there were utterly insane! I had photo ops with a bunch of guests there and they all conflicted at the same time so the entire time of the con i was running around like a headless chicken trying to make it to an area with a celebrity guest to have a photo against a blank canvas behind us. There was many guests there besides Stan Lee i wanted to meet so despite not meeting Stan i did meet everyone else i wanted to meet and had a nice day and experience. I met Tyler Mane, Al Snow, Jeremy Borash, Magnus, James Storm, Lita, Casper Van Dien, Paul Freeman, David Yost, Jason Narvy and Paul Schrier. I will add this was a hot busy Saturday we went and it was held in Earls Court. Traffic was so terrible.
My un-photogenic self with David Yost aka Billy Cranston MMPR Blue.
THE SECOND TIME
The second time i went to London was also for a comic con run by Showmasters and this was again mid July but 2015 and it was held in The Olympia and it was just me and James who went and it was Friday i believe. It was a lot less busy this time and it was a lot more relaxed and enjoyable we both met everyone we wanted to and bought what we wanted. Our main point in going was just to meet Jason David Frank and we did it. It was a great day out not as hot either as the past one and this was one of my fave comic cons maybe my second maybe third favourite overall. Celebrity guests i met were; Jason David Frank, Steve Cardenas, Jason Faunt and Erin Cahill.
Myself and Jason David Frank aka Tommy of Power Rangers.
THE THIRD TIME
Flash forward to my third trip to London which was 4th September it was just a day out with my work colleagues and it was a lovely trip. Let's have a run down of the day shall we? I had 3 hours sleep woke up 4am to get ready and then went to my work place to meet with everyone to get down to Cardiff to get the 7am bus to London and now being a tall person it for me was cramped as i do require more legroom but it's fine i stick this stuff out and moan about it when i stand up later haha.
Took 4 hours to get to London we got to Victoria station and from the outside i was like "This looks small." we get in the building and it's like a shopping centre like ones in Cardiff so i was not out of my comfort zone but i was very nervous for days leading up to the London trip. I was still nervous in London before we got on the tube because that part was scaring me the most. Why was i so nervous of the tube? It's due to all the stories i have heard or seen of it being very fast and cramped and of any incidents and bad things happening but eh it was fine but back to the bit before the tube. Go past some shops and then go down some escalators and then oh my god the place was huge! We queued for 10 mins or so for day travel tickets. Then after we had our tickets the dash to get the train to Madame Toussauds kicked off.

Soon as we got underground it blew me away and took my breath from me because it was so damn hot even the air was but it was a quick adjustment. There's so many escalators about on the underground and they caught me off guard the first lot because they are a tad faster than the ones i have been on in Cardiff or anywhere in Wales to be honest. On the tube now it was not as bad as i had imagined or anything made it out to be or maybe we went at quiet times who knows. Got on the train and waited and few seconds after i boarded i was stood up holding onto the rails and the doors closed and vwoosh off it went i was like holding on it was pretty darn fast compared to anything i been on before. I was looking out the window and all i could see is darkness speeding past and the noise of the train and the speed of it was like we were going to time travel you know i jokingly said "i feel like we are about to go back in time like back to the future now" to me it was that fast. It was a weird experience and we were all running about going back and forth to all the stations, changing over to get a different train and so on anyway i got used to it and its speed and the escalators and their speed and all went fine.

To Madame Toussauds now and i'll be completely honest i have been wanting to go to Toussauds for years and i found it a bit disappointing as i expected it to be more spaced out and less cramped than it was and to have individual themed rooms through different doors you walk into but it was just a bunch of stair climbing and there everything is.
It's a walking tour. There was a ride there also everyone had to get on and it was moving cabs taking you through a history of London and it started nicely and then it went dark like real fast! There was a Grim Reaper behind a child and there was like holograms of children running around with ring a ring a rosies playing that was creepy as fuck! The ride was alright i was more confident of the ride before the bar lowered onto me but of course that was purely for safety purposes and it's cool so now i don't know why i wrote this line but eh it's all documented from my brain and now pasted onto text in this blog post. We did the Alien Experience which was a quick walk or run through a dark area in alien inspired ship from Covenant and having loud noises and an Xenomorph pop out with some guy by the exit hiding in the dark jumping out at people was not as scary as the atmosphere made it out to be.
The Marvel 4D experience was amazing, i loved it so much it was so bizarre but a good bizarre if you get me. The wax works at Madame Toussauds are incredible so life like i applaud them for their fantastic work and besides feeling a little disappointed it was a great experience. We then had two hours to kill before we could make our food booking at Planet Hollywood. So we all split up and some went to Self-fridges, some to Forbidden Planet and the group i was with well......we went to Weather spoons. Some of our group after finding out my group went to spoons had said "You came all the way to London and your going to spoons? Why!?" and my response was "Hey it's cheap and reliable and we are guaranteed a place inside to sit and chill out and have a pint." Good response or not? YOU DECIDE! So after that chill in spoons we raced and got to Planet Hollywood which is a great restaurant like the food is lovely! The film props inside the place are so fascinating and amazing sights to see, just in the entrance to the restaurant is the screen used Red MMPR costume and i geeked the hell out when i seen it.
After our lovely meal we went to M&M world which i thought was a cool and very colourful shop but to have it that big and with 3 floors filled of the same stuff is just ridiculous.
After that we visited Vue West End which is really massive and posh and then basically headed for the bus home. The travel home from London to me always feels longer than the journey to London, it's weird. Anyway 4 hour bus trip home and yeah basically that was it, a lovely day full of great new experiences with so many amazing people and if any of them are reading this i just want to thank you, so thank you very much for a great day.

And that being said and done it is the end of this blog post. Thank you for stopping by and reading this.

Random Ramblin's 33 - A Witty Title

Could not think of any other perfect title to sum this post up or to even start it so here we are everyone, welcome to my blog and to RR 33....How did we get to 33 let alone past 10!? Oh well lets get roight into the nooos.....

Hello there metallic nation, are you well? Hope you are. I am fine thanks for asking.

I hope GIFS are working again i was having problems with them once my spiderman review was posted weird....

Been working on 7 Ebooks almost finished them, of course it's taking its time and i do get delayed due to gaming, films or time i spend in work or making youtube videos or just writing other things or just socialising with friends really lol.
John is just looking for my ebooks in a store.....they will be there some day John.....some day...
New series has started on my youtube channel called Weird News Sunday where Sunday's i post weird news commentaries, its bizarre and i plan to keep doing this til end of summer so far with time depending on things you know see how it goes.

Just heard George A Romero has died :'( R.I.P. The Godfather Of Zombies.
A female DR WHO eh? Don't have nothing to say besides it be a miracle if the new cast and crew got me hooked on Dr Who again. I've not watched a full series since Tennant left. I'll just wait and see how the first episode with the new faces in control do to then decide if it's worth continuing to watch or not. Was quite funny how I went to text James the news but I ended up texting my dad it instead lol.
Took this stunning picture of our gorgeous Moon from my Nikon camera. Took few others but i felt this shine out more than the rest. I had a overwhelming response of love for the photo also on facebook.

Woke up with a Sparrow flying about in my room. Weirder ways to wake up I suppose....
Been a mostly boiling month to say the least.
Been having some crazy days lately. Hope its not just me. The other night i seen a bright white flash come from outside my window it was 5am at the time, i seen it enter through my blinds and i looked out and there's nothing, no cars, no moon, no thunder or lightning. I think i am in the twilight zone.

Friday I was at work and well i was out front setting up to get ready to serve and my colleague was out the back. I say this again there was just us two and the doors to public were locked still as we had not opened shop. Well anyway i was looking at the paper work and i looked up and i jumped a mile honestly, it freaked me out and still has me spooked that i seen an old man in a grey flat cap hat and grey jacket look straight at me from the other side of the counter right in front of me. Honestly i swear i seen that. I jumped a mile, its mad how i could make out such details aswell, It was that clear the old man was stood in front of me, opposite my counter and the doors to public were locked and all other doors are fire exits in the building were and only me and my colleague who was still out back had only access to get in. Looked up, I seen the man i jumped a mile, blinked and he was gone it was the strangest thing. Bah i think i'm just finally going crazy or something yet again most likely :P

TV BIT
Glow, Better Call Saul Season 3 and Izombie Season 3 were all amazing. Murdered for being different was a heartbreaking biopic.

FILM BIT
Me and the two James's watched War For The Planet Of The Apes and we enjoyed it. I hope we can have more, this series has been amazing so fingers crossed. 8/10

Finally seen Baby Driver after my colleagues been saying i should see it and how amazing it is. I seen it and i really enjoyed it 8/10
Seen the Mist and Twilight zone movie both good.

Seen Spiderman Homecoming twice and i will link a review down below.

Hate the looks of the new Jumanji film.

GAME BIT
Completed Mass Effect: Andromeda (see link below for review)

Been mostly playing Ghost Recon Wildlands its an ok game been having fun playing with new friends i made on it. I'd give the game 6/10 tbh.

Overwatch i played  a few games of last night for the first time since January i think...

I always play supercard, legacy wars and rocket league as ever lol no change.
