My friends and family, it is with the utmost sorrow to say this but legendary manga artist Akira Toriyama has passed away.

I am absolutely gutted to learn of the passing of the legendary Akira Toriyama😭 He's an inspirational and highly creative figure whose work has inspired generations and his impact on the world is seen often and always felt. Thank you for your work and for inspiring me❤️ 

Dragonball has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, from watching it after school with my nan and brother to playing all the games with friends, it's been there and I've cosplayed Goku and I even have a Dragonball tattoo.

Dragonball Super: Broly - The Movie (Review)

KAMEHAME......HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! 

And welcome back to my blog space home to randomness, ramblin's, reviews, life, love and list's and now we must delve into the 20th Dragonball movie and is the third produced with Toriyama's direct involvement, and the first to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding. The film is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and has grossed as of writing $90 Million and is hitting more numbers and destroying box offices worldwide at the moment.

This film i have been looking forward to so much since it's announcement and i can happily say with ease that it did not disappoint it's a brilliant film! 

Set after the events of the Universe Survival Saga depicted in Dragon Ball Super, the film follows series protagonists Goku and Vegeta as they encounter a powerful Saiyan named Broly. In the beginning, it tells the history of the Saiyans and the background story of these three Saiyans with different destinies connected to the turbulent period of their race, and later resulting in a massive fight between them and holds the canon appearance of Broly!

The colours, the animation, the soundtrack, the visuals, the art style, the voice acting, the cgi, the sound effects, the story telling, the characters, the character development, the action its all utterly outstanding simply phenomenal! 

I wish not to spoil this film but there's some changes to lore which you know is very interesting but it's a shame a certain someone's dad did not have a badass bandanna to go out with. The one thing i did not like was a certain villains wish because i felt that villain should have wished for something more and think it would have been a nice little tease if they wished for a certain family member back so that we could have that as a tease for a future film to the series you know. So the ending not to give anything away just leaves us wondering what's next and when can i see more!?

I joke it's a good list full of baddies we love to hate but we mostly love for if it was not for them would we really root for our hero's?

Top 5 DB Villains I will include those canon so movie villains are not going to be here sadly :( Also some of the villains may have a different form or look but I will only include one! Alternatively if a baddie went from bad to now good they wont be included only the baddest of bads!

Honourable mentions: Broly, Cooler, Radditz, Demon King Piccolo, Super Buu, Garlic Jr, Ginyu Force, Dabura, The Androids, Janemba, Hirugarten and Svpopopvich. 

5: Nappa

Vegeeeeetaaaaaa. Haha aside from T4S hilarious take on Nappa, Nappa actually was a formidable foe taking out almost all the z fighters single-handedly besides Goku of course. Nappa was taken out by Vegeta perhaps if he did not do that and let Goku just knock him out maybe Nappa would still be alive maybe who knows but i give props to Nappa for his toughness and the fact he was one of the first to take out almost all the z fighters. "You've scarred my beautiful face! And you're gonna pay for it!" - Nappa

4: Zamasu

The most recent big bad on this list is DIVINE JUSTICE himself! ALL HAIL ZAMASU PRAISE BE UNTO HIM! After experiencing first hand just how horrible mortals can be, supreme kai in-training Zamasu decided to inflict his Zero Mortals Plan. To do this, he used the super dragon balls to wish to switch bodies with Goku. Combining his godly power with Goku's Saiyan body, he teamed up with an alternate timeline version of himself, who wished for an immortal body, so that they could rid the world of mortals. So, even though Zamasu is mainly seen as a villain on Earth in the Goku Black saga of Dragon Ball Super, his Zero Mortals plan applies to more than humans. The alternate future Earth was already ravaged by the androids, but Zamasu dwindled their numbers even further. He did the same for other planets with intelligent life and he said he's killed all the other gods in existence in that time. Though the exact number of planets and kill's he has made is unclear, it still puts his body count in the trillions, at least. "My form is justice. My form is the world. Revere me. Praise me. This noble and beautiful… immortal and most powerful God… Zamasu!" - Zamasu 

3: Kid Buu

Kid Buu doesn't talk, he fights, destroys, and kills everything in his path! He doesn't bargain, play games, and spares nothing. Goku questioned his abilities and even talks about giving up, and that was with a WEAKER form of Buu. He is the only villain to succeed in destroying the Earth, and does it after Vegeta makes a statement about it. Buu doesn't care, he's ruthless! And even after the Earth, Buu traveled from planet to planet destroying everything including the people in otherworld nearly Killing those who were already dead! Buu could get blown to bits and still revives himself, he was a monster! Cell was programmed to know the moves that he knew from strands of DNA, Buu learned everything he knew, just by seeing it done once, INCLUDING Instant Transmission! A deadly powerful pure evil opponent. 

2: Perfect Cell

Cell had incredible power and intelligence, his regeneration was impressive without being just bull like Buu's, he wasn't terrified of death like Frieza (in fact he was willing to die if it would mean the deaths of his enemies), and overall just stands out. Cell sought perfection and to prove that he was perfect, the most powerful being in the universe. He delighted in others suffering and terror, but that wasn't the driving action behind his goals. He was basically a fusion of all the strongest fighters and villains up to that point and probably should have been the final boss (in fact, if I remember correctly he originally was until Toriyama was pressure by his readers to continue the series). Cell is a great villain as you can see. His imperfect form was creepy as a kid seriously. "Fools! Don't you realize yet you're up against the Perfect weapon?!" - Perfect Cell

1: Frieza

To no surprise here is the big bad himself. Frieza is an intellectual powerful villain with a compelling backstory and is so heartless just a monster. Frieza is the most powerful villain on my list I would believe. Frieza has many forms and from Super/ROF he has gained a new power of GOLD where his power level is boosted exponentially. Most recognisable villain easily as well. Frieza caused a genocide, does not bat an eye when he kills thousands of people, punishes his own men ruthlessly, hasn't trained a single day in his life prior to Golden Frieza Saga and still attains that much of power, a genocidal elitist who is convinced that he is absolutely perfect in every way. Although he has been recruited on the side of good he is only using that recruitment as a way to gain his life back and become more powerful than before. At the end of super he is seen to be stronger than before and alive but also rebuilding his army for he will attack and get revenge on the saiyan monkey that took his life twice in the first place.....GOKU! "Once I have the dragonballs, it will make a nice fireworks display to celebrate my immortality. Ah yes, I’ll write the name of Frieza in lights across the galaxy" - Frieza

TOP 5 DragonBall Hero's

As you all should know, I love dragonball. Be it DB,DBZ,DBGT,DB KAI,DB SUPER even the films BUT NOT DBE. I will feature characters from DB - Super really.

Anyway just thought I'd make a list of my favourite hero characters or as they are also known the Z fighters. Oh and yes I'll make a villains list and you can see that TOMORROW!

5: Gohan

Starting the list off is one badass who went from well badass toughest fighter there was to school scholar weakling but hey still have huge respect and love for him and I am always wishing for him to get stronger as he was or even stronger hopefully he can get SS3 or something at some point in the future. Fun fact he was supposed to be the main character after Cell saga but fans were mental that Goku died and that force Akira to rewrite Goku in and Gohan was pushed out of the spot light its sad but oh well. Badass Quote: "Fight you? No, I wanna kill you." 

4: Future Trunks

Not Kid Trunks but the Future one of course. Badass and powerful as hell. Although this one is from an alternate timeline he still shows up now and then and everyone has been affected by his presence. He is much like his father, he won't give up, he will always continue on no matter the odds. He has had a tragic past which has made him so strong. Trunks is one hell of an inspiring character. Badass Quote: "Compared to Gods, of course we're weak, but you can never make me ashamed of that. Cause when mortals do join forces that's when we can do anything, because believing in our fellow man and helping each other survive that's what redeems us, that's what makes us who we are, makes us worth, that's what gives us our real POWER!!!!" 3: Piccolo

Gohan's dad is here at number 3. Yes internet nerds it's not actually Gohan's dad....it's his step dad :P . But in seriousness Piccolo is such a great character he can hold his own and is certainly one of the most powerful. I can't praise Piccolo enough. Piccolo was once a Evil Demon King however he reformed and became a total hero and became best friends with Gohan the son of his rival. He is so intelligent and disciplined it is hard to go past him as one of the greatest heroes, if it wasn't for him and the way he trained Gohan, Gohan would not nearly be as strong and well developed as he is. Gohan was also the one to break Ol Green's stone heart also. I heart Pic and Gohan. 2: Vegeta

Coming in second is the PRINCE OF ALL SAIYAN'S! He believes in killing his opponent not showing them mercy like goku always did. If Vegeta had been powerful enough to kill Frieza he would have done it. Frieza would have never seen the light of day again if he had been if the hands of the Saiyan prince and not bleeding heart Goku. I like Goku's pure heart but he takes it to far you've got to recognise evil and destroy it. Vegeta started evil but became good but his ultimate rival is Goku and his goal is always to be better than him, stronger than Goku, he still wishes to beat Goku. Want to know the personification of badassery? Look no further! Best Quotes: “Even the Mightiest Warriors Experience fears. 1: Goku

Of course he's number one! He's my boy! I cosplayed him once seriously I did. Goku's heart is pure he believes in working hard and is strongest hero, he has broken so many limits, he's hilarious, tough, kind just all round the best. WE GOTTA POWER GUY'S! How are we doing? Hope you are all well!

This is a hell of an amazing topic I am covering with my all time fave anime series Dragonball. I am going to be picking my fave themes and instrumental's from dragonball, z, gt and super to make this list as SUPER as I Kaioken, ya see what I'm Saiyan?

Will I feature music that was featured in games? Sadly I will not be doing that BUT maybe next time. Will music from films feature? Yes.

10: Solid State Scouter - Tokio

Bardock's theme is so awesome like from the moment it kicks off you know this is about to get real.

9: Flow - Hero

It's only featured in Battle Of The Gods movie but my god was it such an epic song and scene that it stands out so much and deserves to be on any db music themed list.

8: Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku (Bit By Bit) English DB GT Theme.

Say what you want about GT but this song was beautiful and GT had some good moments too. Vic Mignogna

7: Usubeni (Light Pink)

This song is so unexpected for a Dragonball theme I feel but my god it hits me in my feels everytime I love it!

6: Boogie Back - Miyu Inoue

Another one much like Usubeni and from Super. It's beautiful, emotional and hits me in my feels all the time and IT'S SO CATCHY!

5: F - Maximum The Harmone

A song all about Frieza which appeared in ressurection of F it's kickass!

4: Unmei no Hi: Tamashi tai Tamashi

When Gohan goes SS2 for the first time this song play's and its a beautiful yet powerful moment!

3: Vegeta's Theme - Bruce Falconer

The epitome of badassary, the song fit for a Prince with Bruce Falconer making Vegeta's theme.

2: Ultimate Battle -  Akira Kushida

KA KA KA KACHI DAZE! From the opening this song is lit first time I heard it i perked up like holy shit what the fuck is this majestic piece of heaven I hear? It was the sound of awesomeness much like number 1!

1: Rock The Dragon - Shuki Levy, Haim Saban & Ron Wasserman

First time I ever seen DBZ this kicked the show off and from the intro I was hooked I was like "by the beard of Zeus what is this magical music"

The End Of DragonBall Super Thought's.

Good writing and good story telling does so much! I can not express it enough!

Not sure if anyone else here watches Dragonball Super but when they revealed 131 was going to be the last episode i was like "what no way, its not over yet, there's so much more left to explore and blanks need to be filled in." 

I was not happy and i was concerned the series would be rushed then til the end and although the final episode fight was a little bit rushed it was just so good because they kept the pacing, the writing it was all flowing right as one. Sure there's been some bumps during super but it's fine and they got smoothed out or just ignored and it's ok. 

It's a relief this is not the end just a see you later which i love the series and episode 131 as a whole delivered and if you see the ratings world wide you can see that this 30+ franchise is far from dead and it keeps growing and getting so much stronger every year and every new manga or anime we get. I can not express my love enough for dragonball. 

DB Super's final episode was so good, it was poetry in motion! It had everything to make fans, cheer, tear up, shocked, pumped up and satisfied. It put the biggest smile on my face.

Now don't worry the Sub has ended but the dub continues to catch up and it's currently on one of the best arc's in Super...The Future Trunks Arc!

DB Super is so big and popular that some countries in the world hosted big parties for the last two episodes, they had big tv's in their town squares and had people watch it and buy drinks and food from stalls so they made a right big event over it. I wish uk had an experience here like it, it would be weird to do it at 2am is the only problem haha and only for 30mins but there's some live footage reactions online that make it worth it. To watch db super with hundreds or thousands of fans in one place together would be epic. It was amazing last night i watched the last episode on a live stream on youtube with 95k people watching live too it was amazing! I mean 95k!!! That's huge!

You can not tell me anime is not popular or anything when the giant that is the dragonball franchise can drive that many views! 

Sorry i just love it and feel a sense of pride and what not for being a fan and for this massive success it has had. I've been a big fan of the show for almost 20 years! I cant seem to find the ratings but the fact dragonball, z, gt and super have all always been in the top 10 anime most watched, is something right? Well not GT that was alright but it was least watched and is fanbase least fave series and the fact it's not canon also is something more to add. The fact also this year when Goku went ultra instinct for the first time, it crashed so many anime sites people went nuts!

You know shows when db came out were like 30 mins of here's a villain and boom, villain is gone! DB series is all about telling the story, it fills you in on the characters and does not make them throwaway at all, its just amazing. Soundtrack is infectious so is the animation too. Such a gripping, highly entertaining, enjoyable series. Storytelling at it's finest!

God I blabber so much about the series, i should just marry the series i know haha i've been told my passion for it know's no bounds just like a Saiyan's limit.

Random Ramblin's - Part 16 - F and ban guns america!

Helo! How are ya? It has been a while or it feels it to me. Sorry i have not had much to say.

Right oh so off the bat i hate being an adult, friends going their separate ways so am i and just not having time to hang with them so much but aswell as that the bad news i said i had received has put me in a place where i should be with my family for a bit more than anything. I won't go into it as i have not told any of my friends either you know its tough but getting there one day at a time and that. Uni you are taking my friends away how dare you! Job you are taking my spare time away how dare you! *sigh* Moving on.

This week there was another school/college shooting in america which fucking irritates me. The fact also the news likes to bang on about the shooting and the bastard who shot killed and injured people just bringing him and his name full center stage on all the headlines its disgusting and future criminals who are mentally unattached are seeing this shit everywhere and must be like "oh cool i can do that and be famous?!" STOP IT! America wake the fuck up! You are a pretty rad county dude but for fuck sake you would rather ban Kinder Eggs than fucking guns you fucking backwards country and drive on the right side of the road! I like america and its culture and have friends there but god fucking damn it! WE SHOULD BE LUCKY WE HAVE EDUCATION NOT GUN HAPPY! Schools in america need security and a gun ban, this is fucking atrocious. America wake up and sort the people out. The people have rights to sort themselves out but its not happening is it?! Why and how do people just go "oh i hate this class time to kill people for it" or "oh im being bullied better kill em all" if you hate a class just slack off do not go "time to pop some caps" you bellends! If you are being bullied tough it out! TAKE NO NOTICE! I have been bullied i wanted people dead but did i take weapons to school to sort the fuckers out NO! Why? COMMON FUCKIN SENSE! Anyway i seen dragonball z: Resurrection of f in cinemas friday night woop woop and it was amazing! First time i seen an anime film and dbz film in a cinema and the cinema was packed for it which is so good! The film was funny and great and it gave me goosebumps and spine tingling stuff from some scenes and honestly i would have preferred the film to have ended to what was being hyped and hinted at rather than the films ending but you know its nothing much i liked the ending i loved the film it all worked out well and there was even an end credits scene and for the film i definitely felt the aim of the film to be more comical but it still had the intense fighting scenes that dbz is well known for. Dbz has comedy and action and this film had both but it was more on the comedy side but anyway i have to rate it 6 dragonballs out of 7 haha a weird rating choice right? Well honestly it had to be done. The visuals,characters and soundtrack was awesome! I want more dbz films now!!!!!! 

I got a cold......colds suck! Ah i want to talk more about the new dbz film but spoilers so i have to control myself. I shaved my crappy patchy beard off. My tache still lives however haha. Update: I no longer have a cold and my beard is growing back stubbly bubbly!

Bought all of karl pilkingtons books the other day. They were all on sale so yonk. Off to see slipknot again next year. Good couple gigs in cardiff next year i hope i can go to them all.  Off to see machine head aswell!

I powered up to a Super Saiyan 3,i used a spirit bomb, the biggest you'll ever see,Then I hit Buu and it was finally done And that's when I was known as the greatest Super Saiyan.
