Top 10 Yakuza Game Songs!

Now, the past few years I have become a mega fan of one Kiryu-Chan and of course Majima-San and all the rest of the ragtag crue. The Yakuza games are a series of seriousness with comedic sub-stories and moments amongst an ever-growing and evolving, tense story of the Japanese mob. I will be picking 10 of my fave songs across the series today. If your fave is not on the list then prepare to attack me randomly at any time just like Majima would haha.
10: 24 Hour Cinderella
Kicking off the list with Majima covering this lovely upbeat pop ballad with his sparkly fun uniform.

9: Friday Night
Who remembers dancing to this absolute mega banger on the dance floor in Yakuza 0. It's so damn good!

8: Majima Construction Song
Everyone, please raise for our national anthem! Need I say more? We are Majima construction, we build shit!

7: Akuma No Jigokunabe
I love metal and this is the most metal song in the series, and it's a great song!

6: Harapeko Biyori
I love the chill nature of this song and also how culturally diverse it is. Lovely song. I feel like I could happily defuse a device with this one.

5: Get Them
Alright looks like Mr Beat Em Up wants to go 1v1 yet again, show him who's boss and take all his money and whatever you do.....DON'T HOLD.....BACK!!!!

4: Funk Goes on
Alright there are a bunch of guys standing in your way and the objective, what do you do if you can't go under or over them? GO THROUGH THEM!!!! The ultimate hype fight song!

3: Sayonara Silent Night
A recent entry to the series but oh my god, I fell in love with it in an instant, and it's so beautiful, it makes me teary-eyed, I don't want to say goodbye to our best boy Kiryu anytime soon.

2: Bakamitai
Of course, our fave boy Kiryu-Chan singing this created a strong meme, and it's also a beautiful song and Kiryu's rendition is powerful. Raise your lighters up and sing along now, Dame Da Ne.

1: JUDGEMENT
To not have this in at first place would easily be considered....BREAKING THE LAW!!! WE'RE BREAKING THE WORLD! Kiryu and his brotherly bond with Nishki covering this is just unmatched, and I love the energy in the song given from them and just the song overall.

And that is my list, go check out the Yakuza and Like A Dragon games please, they are phenomenal.
Thanks for visiting my blog and reading my lists, I appreciate it, now go be like a dragon and stay shiny!

Top 10 Life Is Strange Songs

Life is Strange is a popular episodic video game series developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix. The series is known for its narrative-driven gameplay and the ability to make choices that impact the story and its outcomes. This is one of my favourite game series of all time. The first game in the series was released in 2015, and it has since expanded to include several titles and spin-offs. Each game in the series focuses on a different set of characters and storylines, but they all share the common theme of choices and consequences.

The decisions players make throughout the games can significantly impact the narrative and lead to different outcomes, making "Life is Strange" known for its branching and emotionally charged storytelling. The series has gained a dedicated following for its unique approach to narrative-driven gaming. With 5 titles under its belt and numerous books and comics Life Is Strange keeps growing, and I hope it continues, and we get another instalment soon. I love the series and its soundtracks, and today I am picking 10 of my fave songs from the games.

Crosses - Jose Gonzalez
"Crosses" adds to the emotional and atmospheric depth of that particular scene or moment in the game. José González's music is celebrated for its ability to create a mood of introspection and contemplation.

The Right Way Around - Daughter
"The Right Way Around" by Daughter is one of the tracks chosen to complement the game's storytelling and mood. It adds to the overall immersive experience of the game for players.

No Woman - Whitney
"No Woman" is one of Whitney's signature songs and has been widely acclaimed for its soulful and melancholic sound. The song is known for its warm, horn-driven arrangements and Julien Ehrlich's distinctive falsetto vocals. It's often associated with themes of love, longing, and introspection. It's perfect for those melancholy scenes in the game that have lingered with me.

Banquet - Bloc Party
A fun and freeing experience is having a break while on the run and rocking out to this in a run-down hotel in LIS2. "Banquet" is one of Bloc Party's most popular and recognizable songs and has been a staple in their live performances. The track has been praised for its fusion of post-punk and indie rock elements and is often associated with the mid-2000s indie rock revival. The song's lyrics touch on themes of desire, relationships, and youthful exuberance. "Banquet" is celebrated for its infectious and dynamic sound, and it has remained a favourite among fans of indie and alternative rock music.

On Melancholy Hill - Gorillaz
"On Melancholy Hill" is one of the songs that enhance the emotional and immersive experience of the game and has become one of my fave songs, and it always takes me back to the part of the game it appeared in.

D.A.N.C.E - Justice
A really fun upbeat dance track in Life Is Strange 2 that has stuck with me since its appearance. Music plays an essential role in setting the atmosphere and mood in the "Life is Strange" games, and the inclusion of "D.A.N.C.E" by Justice adds to the overall experience of the game.

Creep - Mxmtoon
It's a cover but a cover so good that it felt fresh and new. The song sums up Alex life and feelings living in a new town. Radiohead's "Creep" is celebrated for its raw and emotionally charged lyrics, and it has become one of the band's signature songs. Mxmtoon's cover of the song adds her own style and interpretation to this classic track.

Death With Dignity - Sufan Stevens
Love this one, The song is known for its poignant and introspective lyrics and appears in Life Is Strange spin off titled The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.

On The Flip Of A Coin - The Streets
From the first time I heard this in Life Is Strange 2 it stuck with me throughout my play through such an interesting and catchy song. The streets are great at telling a story and I love how it resonates with myself and with LIS2. The song reflects on themes of luck, chance, and the unpredictable nature of life. Mike Skinner's lyrics often delve into personal and relatable experiences, and "On The Flip Of A Coin" is no exception, as it explores the idea that life's outcomes can be as uncertain as the flip of a coin.

To All Of You - Syd Matters
This always plays in my mind at random points, and it makes me smile, and sometimes it also makes me sad. I always envision Max walking down the school corridor and thinking of all that happens in the first game to her. Tragic, beautiful, powerful. The song is known for its gentle, melodic sound and evocative lyrics. It's often associated with the game's themes of adolescence, friendship, and choices. The song captures a sense of nostalgia and youthful yearning, making it a fitting choice for the soundtrack of a game that explores the complexities of growing up and facing difficult decisions. The emotional and atmospheric quality of "To All of You" has made it a favourite among fans of both the band and the game.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog; your support and engagement mean the world to me!

Five Nights At Freddy's - Movie REVIEW

Happy Halloween!
Five Nights At Freddy's is based on the cult hit indie horror game of the same name by Scott Crawthon. It stars Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard among others and was directed by Emma Tammi and David Fisher and produced by Scott Crawthon and Jason Blum. It's the latest horror film from Blumhouse. This is about a security guard named Mike who lost his job and his life is crumbling, and he gets offered a night security job in an old abandoned restaurant akin to Chuck E Cheese in order to keep money flowing and keep custody of his Sister, Mike takes the job. In Freddy's Fazzbear Pizzarea nothing is what it seems as Mike quickly realises as things go bump in the night and come alive ready to scare and kill as animatronics come alive. Will Mike survive his five nights? Or will these pesky killer animatronics claim another life? Find out by watching it in cinemas or home streaming platforms....

Right so off the bat, I know a fair bit of FNAF lore and universe so as a fan, I enjoyed this film, I thought it was good. Yes it could have been better. Less flashback woodland stuff. More Afton. More action. Less predictable scares with more tension and more blood and gore.

This is just the start, and it's delved in deep with a lot of the game's elements. It's not scary. It's got minimal blood. Furthermore, it should have been a 12A rated film if I am honest rather than a 15 because I've seen worse 15 rated films than this.

The animatronics were outstanding, they looked just pure amazing! Lot of fan service with this film too. The film has its quirky nature of the series and the seriousness too.

The score and licenced tracks were great even the fan addition at the end. The opening game like titles were so cool too! Crazy to think this film has been in the works for 10 years and a film similar to it came out before this. Shout-out to Willie's Wonderland which was just a batshit cheap copy of this haha.

Lots of laughs and meme references shouted out during my screening. One woman in front of me got up and said "well that was disappointing I wanted to see a Markiplier appearance and sex scene"😂 some funny shit! I didn't see any fights in cinema nor anyone stealing posters or cardboard cutouts, unfortunately. Had a good time, no alcohol required haha.

GAMING RANT - JANUARY 2023!

STOP TELLING GAMERS WHAT THEY CAN AND CANNOT PLAY!

Social media and in particular Twitter is running rampant with lots of people saying idiotic things such as "If you play this game you are a ______, and you condone _______" (I am sure you can fill in the blanks, but I have examples to follow)

"If you don't play Forspoken you are a homophobe and racist." OK so now to piss people off, I am not going to play this game, that I have never had intentions to play in the first place.

"If you play Hogwarts legacy you are racist, homophobic and transphobe" OK well now because I want to play the game, I am going to piss people off.

"If you play ANY blizzard game you are actively supporting sexual harassers and rapists." Look Blizzard I ain't been a fan of anyway and I have played some of their games BUT I ain't touching Overwatch 2 because it's rubbish and now because RAPISTS made it.

"If you play Atomic Heart you are supporting Russia in the war" MATE, I just want to play a mindless shooter, I am not supporting Russia at all so please FUCK OFF!

"If you kill animals in God Of War Ragnarok you are supporting the assault and deaths of innocent animals." PETA with all due respect please kindly FUCK OFF!

What is next? If I play Little Big Planet I am supporting balls of yarn running out? Or if I love the Uncharted or Tomb Raider games that I support thieves?

People, Gamers alike. PLEASE GET A GRIP!

I AM GOING TO PLAY, WHAT I WANT TO PLAY! NO ONE ELSE WILL TELL ME DIFFERENTLY!

IT DOES NOT MEAN SHIT IF I DO OR DO NOT PLAY SOMETHING!

Snowflakes and people alike need to focus on bigger issues rather than these miniscule issues that do not matter at all.

Top 10 Mortal Kombat Games

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!

Dun dun dun da da dun dun dun dada dun dun dun dun da da

Welcome back to my blog and here and today's list is my top 10 fave MK games!
Let's get a flawless victory here today!

10: Mortal Kombat
The original Mortal Kombat's significance can't be ignored. The game revolutionized the fighting genre with characters that were digitized versions of real-life actors, and its shocking, gory Fatality moves were so controversial that they essentially birthed the ESRB game-ratings system.

9: MK 2
This expanded upon everything great with MK 1 and added in some new now iconic characters.

8: Shaolin Monks
Shaolin Monks is the third, and most recent, spin-off game of the series, and it’s no doubt the best. The plot is the most interesting of any of the action-adventure games. The beat ’em up aspect of the gameplay definitely adds some much-needed excitement to spin-offs that otherwise haven’t worked very well in this franchise.

7: Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance righted the ship after the disappointing Mortal Kombat 4, delivering a much tighter 3D combat system that introduced the ability to switch fighting styles midbattle. In what would become a tradition for the franchise, Deadly Alliance came loaded with content, including a single-player Konquest mode and a treasure trove of unlockable secrets known as the Krypt. Deadly Alliance felt both fresh and like a return to form when it released in 2002, and it laid the groundwork for future 3D iterations to come.

6: Deception
Mortal Kombat: Deception built on everything that was great about Deadly Alliance, beefing up the roster while expanding on the single-player mode and introducing online play to the series. Minigames such as Puzzle Kombat and Chess Kombat delivered some hilariously fun diversions from the fighting.

5:  MK 3
Mortal Kombat 3 was a major leap forward for the franchise, introducing the series'’ now-signature Dial-a-Combo system, upping the pace with a Run button and adding in the ability to uppercut your opponent through a ceiling and perform ridiculous Animalities. The roster expanded to include eventual favorites like Sektor, Cyrax and Kabal, though the exclusion of staples such as Scorpion and Kitana puzzled gamers. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 cemented its place as one of the finest in the series. In addition to bringing back the aforementioned key characters and adding some new stages, UMK3 introduced 2-on-2 and Tournament modes while adding new moves for much of the existing cast. This resulted in the most jampacked and fun Mortal Kombat yet, one that sent this classic trilogy off in style.

4: MK11
This game explored the furthest reaches of the Mortal Kombat lore, introduced another suite of memorable characters, and embraced the Mortal Kombat community in unprecedented ways. Whether you’re talking the nods to the series’ past or the massive Aftermath expansion that added an entire second story mode (featuring actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprising his role as Shang Tsung from the beloved 1995 film), Mortal Kombat 11 delivers full throttle on every front.

3: MK X
After MK9 returned the series to its roots, Mortal Kombat X began pushing the series forward in exciting ways. The awesome X-ray attacks returned in spades, with more gruesome how-did-they-get-up-from-that moves than in MK9, but the star of the show is the suite of new characters. Whether you’re talking the ice cold mercenary Erron Black, the new generation of kombatants in Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs, or the wildly unsettling D’Vorah, Mortal Kombat X delivered some of the most memorable characters since the original trilogy. Not only that, but the story mode weaves them together in compelling ways as they once again battle for the fate of the realms so this one really stands out for me.

2: Armageddon
What was supposed to be the ultimate culmination of the first decade and a half of the Mortal Kombat franchise gave players a lot to look forward to. Not only was every single Mortal Kombat character (at that time) included in Armageddon, but you could even create your own fighters to join the roster. We can't forget the story, the arcade endings and Kart Kombat!

1: MK 2011
NetherRealm Studios took the Mortal Kombat franchise back to basics in more ways than one. Not only did Mortal Kombat 9 return the series to its 2D fighting roots, but it also brought players back from the brink of Armageddon with a storyline that travelled in time to the beginning of the story, retelling a modified version of the events of the first three games. Aside from bringing together a collection of the series’ most iconic characters, Mortal Kombat 9 also introduced the beloved X-ray moves, where you could see the havoc being wreaked on the recipient’s innards. Perhaps MK9’s biggest legacy over the decade since its launch is its emphasis on narrative storytelling, which established the franchise as the best-in-class storyteller in the fighting game genre.

Top 10 Mortal Kombat Characters

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!
Dun dun dun da da dun dun dun dada dun dun dun dun da da

Welcome back to my blog and here and today's list is my top 10 fave MK Kharacters!
Let's get a flawless victory here today!

10: Shao Khan
The ruler of outworld and a wonderful evil villain also he is such a douche bag since he will stop brutally kicking your arse to tell you how much you suck.

9: Shang Tsung
He can morph into other characters, he can steal souls, he can shoot multiple fireballs and is the first big bad of the series.

8: Cyrax & Sektor
I know it's two separate characters but I love them so much I have to bunch them into one to put them here on my list. At first, Sektor and Cyrax were interchangeable outside of armor color and what kind of explosive device they liked more. As the games went further with Mortal Kombat Gold and Tournament Edition, we started to see some real contrast. Cyrax was an honourable warrior, but Sektor was a straight-up jerk. He insisted upon being turned into a cyborg and presumably didn’t even need to be given any programming. While Cyrax was reluctant and horrified, Sektor relished being a robotic killing machine, eventually even starting his own Lin Kuei offshoot to force more ninjas into becoming robots in the hopes of world domination.

7: D’VORAH
D’Vorah is a great new addition to the roster and is filled with all sorts of creepy surprises. Her various bug-based attacks, the way she’s always petting a larva that she keeps in her own stomach for safe-keeping, her tendency to describe herself as “this one,” and so on. I find her a hoot to play as in the games.

6: Kano
Kano is a special kind of scum, and the series is better for him existing. It’s fitting that he’s the cockroach of the series in that when you think he’s gone for good, he creeps back in and shows that he simply won’t die. He’ll be taken off the board or even be considered dead every other game, but comes back slimier than ever. His live action counter parts have also been quite standout and iconic for the character.

5: Cassie Cage
Cassie is the best of both worlds between her parents. She has Sonya’s military leadership and access to all sorts of fun government weaponry, but with Johnny’s swagger, sense of humour, and tendency to hit people in the bits. Cassie is everything you’d want out of a good female protagonist and it’s wonderful that NetherRealm was able to hit the potential on such a fun character design and fun to play and interact with.

4: Liu Kang
In the earliest version of the fighting game, Liu Kang served as a traditional combat fighter, who was best known for his martial arts capabilities. He is a Bruce Lee copy and was always saving the day but as we progressed through the series we seen such a sudden impactful shift and the recent game instalments has given Liu a fresh breath of life.

3: Johnny Cage
The funniest character in MK but also one of the most underrated underdogs I would say. People and other fighters look down on Johnny but he has some criminally underrated powers and martial arts and he has always been a fave of mine in the series, I always tend to play as Johnny.

2: Sub Zero
Sub-Zero is on par with his rival, Scorpion. Sub-Zero is the master of ice manipulation. Kuai Liang is the current Sub-Zero and the younger brother to the original, who became Noob Saibot. Sub-Zero’s ice projectile is said to be one of the most innovative mechanics to have been enlisted into a gaming character. Furthermore, his Spinal Rip Fatality move is noted as one of the most morbid character actions, which gave Sub-Zero his merciless disposition.

1: Scorpion
Scorpion is all-purpose. He can be good, evil, in-between, but he’s always badass. He’s still a fire-spitting, demon ninja from Hell. Scorpion has served as a mascot to Mortal Kombat since its beginnings. This character is a human whose real name is Hanzo Hasashi. His family was killed, which led him into the life of an assassin. His skills are malevolent and gory, with ingenuity such as hellfire and teleportation serving as his powers.

Random Ramblin's 40 - Are You Watching Facebook Man!?

Hello everyone, back so soon? I know what's going on?
THIS IS MY 300TH POST!

Life
Been having car problems after problems after problems so annoying and frustrating, how is it possible to live life without any stresses or worries when cars keep haemorrhaging money out of me.

Besides car worries and the rant just below this, it's not all been all gloomy in my recent times. I went away with the Mrs to Quay West and we had a lush time, I highly recommend everyone go to Quay West and Ceredigion and Aberaeron also.

I went with the Mrs to watch NXT UK Live in Cardiff, we went to the takeover live ppv show and the Sunday tv tapings and we thoroughly enjoyed. It was so amazing, sure Sunday was longer and it was so uncomfortable seating wise compared to the night before. Saturday we was on top in the middle of the tiered seating which gave us a fantastic view and we was comfy and it was so great. Sunday we sat 10 rows from the ring which was amazing too but the seats were so cramped and uncomfy it did my head in and has messed up my knee as it still hurts now. All in all we enjoyed so much we can't wait to do it again if they come back to Cardiff. The crowd was amazing and the chants were epic! P.s. The title of this post was a chant.

I recently also won a massive teddy from a local arcade and honestly it's huge it's bloody 6ft for christ sake haha. I gave it to my Mrs and it was bloody insane everyone was looking at me and they looked so amazed and jealous haha. It was stuck in a machine where you hold a button and release when the scissors gets to the string holding the bear and you release and it cuts it and it took me 2 goes which is £3 as it was £1 a go so three goes and i had it. I told her i'm gonna win that! I did! Call me Arcade King!

MUSIC
Taylor's new album is out and i like a few songs, such as; Lover, Me!, Paper Rings, I forgot that you existed, Cornelia St and Cruel Summer.

Slipknot's new album is out too and from this new album We Are Not Your Kind i love the following songs; Unsainted, Birth Of The Cruel, Nero Forte, Spiders, Critical Darling, Solway Faith, Red Flag and Orphan.

TOOL ARE BACK!
(I've not listened to their album Fear Inoculum as of writing)

A note on music: Music, it's starts with a sound, add in some repetition and the brain will think it's a song or it will mold it into a song so to speak. Music is amazing it can help people relearn how to speak, help people with movement disabilities move more, music can act like a drug aswell and has a deep connection to our feelings. Music itself is culturally universal and as far as we are aware other primates don't really get the same feeling of beats like we do it's been said. All music starts as air before we hear it, repeated sound creates rhythm, it all goes in through our ear processed via our brains and that is where we make it out and develop a love or a dislike to music and some music in general really. Back in 2009 scientists and the world discovered an animal that would move along to the music in time even when the track was sped up or down and more animals have been discovered to be able to do this since that wonderful Cockatoo named Snowball almost ten years ago. Ronin a sea lion in California is the first non human mammal confirmed to really get grooving with Earth Wind and Fire in a Boogie Wonderland. When sounds repeat fast enough we hear it as a pitch and multiple pitches create harmony. Octaves are pitches with double or half the frequency of another. Major scale is associated with happy feelings and minor meaning the opposite but of course this is not universal because someone in another country could experience the opposite where the minor is happy and major is sad.

Games
I want to play Gears 5 and Man Of Medan. Fortnite is going mental but i am not playing it so much now a days. Been playing Lego Undercover at the moment, it's alright like. Restarted Animal Crossing New Leaf as things fucked up so i can't wait to get back into that.

"Do you think a chair ever wants to sit on a person?"

Random Ramblin's 39 - The Great Rant

IT'S SUMMER TIME!

MUSIC
CHECK OUT SABATON - THE GREAT WAR. This album is a modern masterpiece an instant classic. One of the best albums i have ever heard and that i have in my collection. 10/10

Taylors new album lover is coming August 23, 2019 so me and Mrs cant wait to hear it. So far Me is my fave it just clicked instantly. You need to calm down was too pop political for me to get into. Archer is dark and I dont quite know what to make of it after one listen. We see what the rest is like when its out.

FILMS
Lion King Remake is a cash grab that's mediocre and fails to capture the magic or essence of the original. No emotion in animals, does not flow as smoothly as original i felt. The realism is nice but there's more that should have been done for it. 3/10

Yesterday has a lot of questions or sets them out but does not in anyway answer them and its got too much Ed Sheeran for my liking 5/10

Rocketman was decent and entertaining and the music sequences and transitions was great 7/10

Spiderman Far From Home was crap its just another iron man movie not a spiderman, fuck up Marvel 3/10

Toy Story 4 is the weakest toy story film but still made me cry like a baby 7/10

Batman Hush is a great new addition to the DCAU and it was great to see Hush brought to the big screen even if it is animated. and we get a great twist and finale in this. 8/10

Games
Not played much i got 2 new games but not played them aswell as others from a while ago i bought but there we go in it. I play Fortnite a lot is all.

RANT
I'm getting tired of people buying cats or dogs then making a social media account up. I get it you want attention or you want people to know and follow the thing you love most but jesus christ when does it even evolve from being your own pet to being loads others own pet instead. It feels like they are not their pets but sharing it with all their followers and im not for that. A pet isnt for boosting you on social media and a pet shouldn't be forced that and also if you are getting a pet take care of it yourself and not show it off and hope people will take care of it or whatever reason people do this shit for. Get a pet for yourself not to promote and pass off to others to make yourself matter.

Also dear petty people of the world. Dont be that person to make others feel down or bad and dont break your relationship status over anything small or trivial only to the next week or day go back to happy families. Either stick to your guns and dont bitch and moan or just stick together. If its true love you wouldn't separate go off in a huff create drama because you want attention and then go back to your partner and act like nothing happened. You do more harm than good and one day the other person will realise the terrible harm you are causing and will walk out of your life and not return so be careful.

Family life: I hate being the last to know of things and I hate coming home to get it in the neck for no reason other than the people mad at me are just angry at their own problems. I'm always nice, polite, well mannered and honest and yet you know I'll come home from a 8 hour shift to "did you break the printer?", "chew quieter why are you so loud" to an empty house without my dog and for me to worry and panic looking for him when family haven't said they were off away on holiday with him. Courtesy please give me some as I need to know this information but apparently seems to not be of importance to let me know of anything. Some family members I dont see anymore or much of and I try to contact them but get nothing of when I can come see them, there's no communication on their part and that upsets me. Family is family we are supposed to all support and love eachother but just seems like voids are just the normal as we all age and have our own homes and families of our own and that sucks and its sad. So yeah apologies to rant so much but I need to get all this out and once I start I dont want to stop because I cant stop.

******************This might come across as controversial so beware! I in no way, am saying anything negative with mental health or those who suffer it, I am merely asking a question. I don't wish to offend anyone with this and please if you are suffering or battling with your mental health do seek help and talk to friends and family you trust and write your problems out and focus on taking care of yourself. 😊👍********************

Do you think people take too much advantage with the state of mental health these days?

Example; Are some generally doing it and feeling, experiencing it or are some crying Wolf and abusing the mental health system to benefit sick pay and days off? Curious to know thoughts on this because its an interesting topic.

I've heard a lot of stories of some people glorifying the whole "i'm anxious/depressed I need a week off, paid sick leave" I'm not in anyway saying that people are not dealing with any actual mental battles are faking it in anyway, I'm only saying there's some out there that will say things and take advantage of people and you'll end up seeing them going abroad, smiling, getting a tan or out partying drunk constantly.

Everyone has a natural anxiety level within them. Everyone can/will get depressed at some point in their lives of course and I'm not saying different or that some can get an extreme case of these and still go on and do amazing things while battling it. Just saying or asking; How many of these cases are actual real cases and how many are not? I'm interested in finding out.

Also how unfair is it to have these troubles and wait and wait and panic or feel afraid to seek medical help and for the doctors to not listen to you and to tell you to "go home get plenty fluids down you" or "nah you're all fine".

Thing is the system and this topic is tricky and it's not always straight forward. We all need more and better care and awareness. Start teaching it in schools. There's loads to be taught in schools I know and I'll probably do another post on this at some point.

Also; It's strange how when you're down and lonely some people will not care but when you are happy that some people will start to hate and thrive off trying to put you down and not support you or like seeing you happy.

To those kinds of people I say good day, because no one has time for that and no one has any room in their life to be that sad and jealous of others happiness.

I have no room anymore in my life for put downs or negative, snide, snark remarks I just block and remove or unfollow on social media because I am done with all that shit.

Simply put if you aren't happy for someone else being happy, don't be a dick and try to ruin their days or their lives by saying negative comments or by direct/private messaging them shit. And don't be that guy to say in person "I'm fed up of your lovey dovey crap" well kindly fuck off out of life because you are not needed in it and it wont be tolerated at all.

People wont support you at your lowest but will at your highest. I find that bullshit too. You could be all like "woe is me" and some decent people will be like "oh its gonna be OK" or there will be those that will laugh at you and say "grow up!" and scroll on. People need to start being decent beings instead of shitty ones. The fakery I've always said needs to stop too, I cant tolerate it, I'll remove and unfollow that crap. You can be there for others but its also funny how the same people won't be for you. Life is strange.

Forget politics forget work. Look after yourself, always be kinder. You are never a burden to talk to others about your problems. If you think you are and that they won't get you or understand well you are wrong. They will. Self love is not taught because no one has mastered it yet. Be kind and gentle and don't put the weight of the world on your shoulders. Everyone needs to be kinder to themselves.

Feeling uncomfortable in your skin? Maybe it's not yours maybe it's someone else's and your an alien who took that skin and decided to wear it to start a secret invasion. Maybe or maybe not 😉.

Tossing the coin to you guys here seeing and reading this. What do you think of all this? What's your experiences and what do you think needs to be done?

Let me know, thanks for reading 😊👍 Stay Shiny!

Random Ramblin's 38 - The Phoenix Lifestyle

What's up? It's been a while since I have done a RR (random ramblin's) and to be more precise, it's been months?! 5 MONTHS!? OH MAI GAWD I NEED SUM MILK!

What's new?
As you can see my postings have been somewhat irregular? Well the reason why that is as you should know by now is that I have been busy enjoying and living my life with my beautiful woman. She's been my rock since January and hell before that even like but January is the official start. She's been pushing me to do and try new things and I have. I aim to do and make more changes as time passes also but for now it's been all fun and games and laughs and smiles with us and I hope you've been enjoying life too! :)

I have not been writing here so much or on my Word program much at all really these past few months but i have been writing and not a lot is finished nor published yet but soon they will be just be prepared. I have been writing quite a bit in my notebook mind you so just to let you know all is well and things are on hiatus whilst i continue to actually enjoy living my life, which might sound or come across wrong but i feel for the longest time i have not lived and now i am so that's new. I am seeking suggestions for lists and top tens and anything you can shake a stick at so hit me up any time and i might get cracker lacking on the writing.

The reason behind the title is that i feel reborn like my life is not the same as it use to be and i hardly recognise my past life now so here i am risen out of the ashes like a Phoenix and may i burn brightly forever more.

Tv Watch List
The Flash, Izombie (final season), Gotham (final season), Game Of Thrones (final season), Big Bang Theory (final season). A lot of final seasons are going and ending this year. I am going through them slowly and i have been enjoying. Also me and my Mrs been watching dragonball again from the start so it's a hell of an adventure we have on our hands.

Movie Watch List & My Review Scores
Broly Review
Glass Review
Us Review
CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL THE FILMS I AM WATCHING THIS YEAR AND THE ONES I HAVE ALREADY WATCHED AND WHAT I THOUGHT OF THEM WITH RATING SCORES OUT OF 10.

John Wick 3 - Holy shit just when you think you have seen it all here comes Baba Yega with annother round of gun-fu lots of gun-fu. Dogs have a lot of bite. Characters and world building is amazing, i thoroughly enjoyed this hard hitting action flick. 8/10

Detective Pikachu - Although amazing in its cgi and visuals the story and characters fall rather flat and you can easily figure out whos bad and good and whats going to happen before it happens in this film so thats a bit disappointing but its humorous and it's largely upheld thanks to Ryan and Justice and their relationship and chemistry and Ryan does practically carry the entire movie i would say with ease but i enjoyed i wish i had this film when i was a kid. 7/10

Games
Spyro 1 is done but 2 and 3 are yet to have been started.
I got life is strange season 2 to begin aswell.

Fortnite as ever changes every season and it always has ups and downs but with a friend or two i still have an immense amount of fun playing it.

I have finished Walking dead the final season it was an emotional tense rollercoaster i enjoyed every minute of.

I am currently playing Animal crossing new lead on 3ds.
I am dying to play MK 11 and A Way Out.

Music
Slipknot are back with a new album coming soon aswell as new song called Unsainted which is a heavy hitter and displays the bands new album sound or a taste of it aswell as revealing the members new masks because here we are in the new era of the Knot. I love it and all out life is also a banger but apparently is not featured on the new album, strange that. Unsainted = 9/10

Serj Godzilla cover song is brilliant 9/10.

Taylor Swift has returned with Me! - A catchy colourful video featuring a brilliant collaboration with Brendan Urie of Panic At The Disco fame. Me = 7/10

Jonas Bros have resurfaced with 2 new songs and a new album on the way and Sucker is catchy and Cool is just bad. Sucker = 7/10

NEWS
So breaking news is that WWE has suspended their contract with sky sports and are moving to BT sports. 30 years of sky sports wwe is over.

Ashley Massaro former wwe diva has passed away.
Alabama is being some backwards ass fools to ban abortions.
Twilight's Rob is being eyed to play Batman. WTF?
Brex-Shit still going on. Who cares?
Black hole was sighted and memed.
Grumpy Cat died.

That's all the news right now that i remember or that i can be bothered to report and say something about right now if you want me to be as truthful as possible lol.

I'd like to end my post with something my honey told me: "I can't improve on what's already there, that's you, yourself and you are everything". Thanks Honey and for being so supportive of me and everything i have done and do. I am so lucky to have her so grateful to have her in my life by my side supporting me through everything, I am always there for her 24/7 she is the best honestly.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for more lists and other bits here on my blog!

The Scotties Awards 2018!

Hello ladies, gentleman, binary and non. Welcome to the first ever and maybe annual awards I am now issuing on my blog. The Scotties are just imaginary awards I will give out to the best things I have read, listened to, seen, played etc of the past year.

What a year, so many up's and downs in all media's so without further ado;
Let The Scotties Awards begin!
(All winners will receive this image which will be available to download after the show/post of course. :P )

Scotties Spotify Top Song Of The Year:
So I love music but who doesn't and this year we have been presented with so many tunes and Spotify has kindly helped me in piecing together 3 contenders for my top song of the year and this could mean one of these 3 songs I have listened to the most this year. The nominations are: The Guess Who - Laughing, Jaroslav Beck - $100 Bills and Hugh Jackman & Zac Efron - The Other Side. And the winner is...........THE OTHER SIDE BY HUGH JACKMAN AND ZAC EFRON APART OF THE GREATEST SHOWMAN SOUNDTRACK! A huge surprise hit of the year both film and music wise as it took the nation and our cinemas by storm a well deserved winner.
Scotties New Fave Band Of The Year: So many bands old and new have come into my life this year and well as hard as it is to pick a winner out of so many this award goes to the band I have listened to most and this goes to the mighty SABATON!
Scotties Most Listened To Album Of The Year: Many choices here but the one which sticks out the most that I have listened to is my boys of 21 Pilots with their newest album TRENCH!
Scotties Meme Of The Year: Another year has passed and so has so many memorable, funny and cringey memes but one stuck out the most to me and made the most impact this year and that is.....UGANDAN KNUCKLES!
Scotties Game Of The Year: Oh this is the big one here with so many contenders this year I will admit I only play PS4 but don't worry I will also have a PS4 exclusive category next up. Right with so many heavy hitting games this year it's a tough choice however the winner is.......RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!
Scotties PS4 Game Of The Year: So many heavy hitting contenders here and of course no doubts here that PS4 had the best year in gaming and has the best exclusives but up for this exciting award are the following amazing games: Detroit Become Human, God Of War and Spiderman. These games are all winners let me say that first of all but out of them my fave exclusive this year was.......SPIDER-MAN!
Scotties Multiplayer Game Of The Year: Not going to lie but this choice was incredibly easy to make granted that i have spent almost 400 hours on the game this year with my bessie mates Jared and James and the winner of course is........FORTNITE!
Scotties TV Show Of The Year: I admit I don't watch many tv shows anymore but this award goes to.....THE FLASH!
Scotties Actor Of The Year: So many amazing actors but one actor I have seen the most this year and has delivered on every performance and there's one that stands out the most and this award goes to the wearer of the Infinity Gauntlet himself......JOSH BROLIN!
Scotties Actress Of The Year: Just like the best actor category this year we have seen amazing talented actresses and again for me the one who stood out most is.......TESSA THOMPSON!
Scotties Film Of The Year: So many amazing films this year such as Game Night, A Quiet Place, Upgrade, The Shape Of Water, Bohemian Rhapsody, Searching, Bumblebee, Into the Spiderverse, Infinity War and Deadpool 2 to name but a few of the best we have had this year and so with all of these in mind my overall winner should come to no surprise because of how much love and praise I gave it earlier this year and it was not me either that gave this film a lot of praise, critics and academies alike gave it many awards and without further babbling from me the winner is......THE SHAPE OF WATER!

Now as the awards draw to a close, It's time to do some quick fire awards!
Scotties Comic Story Of The Year: Boom Studios! Power Rangers: Shattered Grid!
Scotties Graphic Novel Story Of The Year: Boom Studios! Power Rangers: Soul Of The Dragon!
Scotties Anime Moment Of The Year: DragonBall Super: Frieza & Goku Team Up Against Jiren!
Scotties Pop Vinyl Of The Year: Power Rangers Dino Ultrazord!
Scotties Hottest Anime Of The Year: My Hero Academia! (By hottest I mean best new anime I have watched this year.)
Scotties Moment Of The Year: Meeting Jeff Jarrett!

Wrestler Of The Year: Seth Rollins
Tag Team Wrestlers Of The Year: Lucha Bros

And finally I'd like to give a special life time thanks award to Stan Lee. The legend that he was passed on this year and it was sad but the man has left behind a huge legacy we are all so thankful for and we love him and we miss him dearly, thanks Stan The Man.
And that about does it here at The Scotties Awards 2018!
It's been fun and a hell of a year now onwards and upward for the future is coming on, is coming on, is coming on, is coming on......

Random Ramblin's 37 - The Depressing Times Of The Workhorse

Uh Hi!
First of all, how do you like the new look? Took me a few hours but here we are! Nice, new, fresh, sleek, slick, dope, lit. Yes it is all those words and more! Just looking at the new design just makes me smile to be honest, i'm pretty proud of what i have done here, i hope all of you like it too :)
WELCOME TO THE NUW-METAL ERA!

Sooooooooo it's been a while and as the title suggests we are about to get a bit sad and down but don't worry i'll try and make it a bit cheerier near the end or something i guess who knows, let's see how this goes as my fingers proceed to hit the keys in all sorts of rhythmic motions as I vibe and stay entranced in retro wave music.

Weird intro out of the way so first of all, I now have two jobs, yep it's true one job I have had for almost 2 years and the other i have been in for 2 months now. Don't really like the second job i find it boring, unsociable and a real drag overall. So the workhorse i have dubbed myself after Seth Rollins since he works a lot and now i do and often twice a day so yeah rough? Some days it is rough, other days its ok.

Sad stuff now
Telltale games has shut down since my last random ramblin's, Gamesmaster mag has also now shut down. Stan Lee has passed away and so did my lovely Uncle Kenny.

Uncle Kenny was a great man, a lovely man, one of the best easy. He was the first to introduce me to the act of magic and illusion and he always had this running joke with me that he had an actual wishing well as a kid when your 3-5 you'll believe anything and you know I'd go down his throw some money in wishing well make a wish and I'd always check the bucket when I rolled it up to find a bag of sweets, drinks, chocolates, crisps etc. Haha he always said to me everytime I seen him was about something new in his garden. "Alright boy, you'll never believe what I got in my garden. I got a Giraffe, An Elephant, a lion and a tiger" last time I seen him was before he became unwell which was about a month or two ago and he'd tell me then and remind me the stories and memories of going to his as a kid and telling me how his zoo in his garden is doing haha so random but that's Kenny to me, a funny random guy who was loved by all because he was so down to earth and just lovely in general and he'll be missed dearly. This Christmas bingo and drink will be strange without him but he'll be there in spirit and I'll be sure to have a whiskey for him. :)
Sorry to put a downer on things but life ain't all smiles and hardwork and it's ok to not feel ok. It's OK and natural and human to feel sad. It's OK to feel sad and to celebrate the memory of a loved one. Keep them in your hearts and memories forever. :)

Regarding Gamesmaster, i am in the last issue doing a review on spiderman and well here's a blog post all about it - https://1stmetalgodsblog.blogspot.com/2018/11/rip-gamesmaster-mag.html

Regarding Stan Lee well what's to say? His work, his characters, stories, art and he himself overall have inspired me, tried to meet him once in London but was put off from the massive crowds. Gutted at this news but he's forever cemented as a legend and his legacy will live on forever. Thanks.
Let's mosey along!
11/11/18 - 100 years ago the great war stopped....machines guns fell silent, guns were dropped to the floor, and the brave came home after years of constant fighting. We lost many and we won't forget but we will always honour the fallen.

Things you may not know about me #1: I'm a Google certified local guide. I submit reviews, photos and answer questions on Google maps. I recently hit the landmark of 8000 views on my reviews and 5000 on my photos. I do this for fun and when I get free time and become bored really. I will continue to do these now and then and post on my facebook writers page primarily which can be found here - https://www.facebook.com/ScottJonesWriter

Halloween in work this year was interesting as i had my facepainted like Venom and scared many people and had strange looks all day haha.

Movies
I have watched a lot since we last touched base so let me cover a bunch of movies i have seen in short.

Bohemian Rhapsody: 8/10
The Predator: 7/10
BlacKKKlansman: 8/10

Teen Titans Go To The Movies: 5/10 (i expected this film to totally suck but it was actually alright, i liked some songs, i liked the characters, there was some nice 4th wall breaks and jokes and some bits made me laugh)

Tag: 8/10

Johnny English Reborn: 5/10 (best scene was the Darude but also the VR scene was brilliant)

Bleach(Netflix film): 4/10

Fullmetal Alchemist (Netflix) 7/10 (I actually really liked this, only thing i hated was how fast they wrapped up the last hour and act)

VENOM: 5/10 (Expected it to be much worse than it was, Tom Hardy made the film decent is all because for the most part its a mess!)

Upgrade: 9/10 (surprise hit of the year for me i loved this!)
Searching: 9/10
Hush: 7/10
Equaliser 2: 7/10
Autopsy Of Jane Doe: 8/10
I'm sure i have seen a few more but as of writing this, this is all i remember.

Games
Spyro: I have not had the chance to play yet but i have it :)
RDR2: It's what i am still playing at the moment on chapter 4, the game had such a slow start but after chapter 2 it picked up more :)

Writing
Not going too bad it's slow on some projects but it's steady on the blog side as you can see. Getting to work on Predator fan fiction. Some Halloween and Power Rangers are also in the works :) More stuff here - https://www.facebook.com/ScottJonesWriter

Well that's all for this one, sorry for the long gap between random ramblin's but as you can see i been keeping busy here on my blog, in games, watching films, working and other life stuff so yeah, remember to stay shiny and i'll see you in my next post! :)

Special shoutout to my friend Richard who has now started his own blogging adventure: https://mytrickyjourney.blogspot.com/2018/10/bit-of-tricky-start.html
