Top 10 Superhero Animated Shows

Superheroes are everywhere, and who has not ever dreamt or wanted to become one?
So come with me and get your capes on and mask's down, as it is time to fly around and list my top 10 fave Superhero Animated shows!
10: Ben 10
"Ben 10" is an animated television series created by the group "Man of Action" and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The original series premiered in 2005, and since then, the franchise has expanded with various sequels and spin-offs. The "Ben 10" franchise has evolved over the years, with multiple sequels and spin-offs, including "Ben 10: Alien Force," "Ben 10: Ultimate Alien," "Ben 10: Omniverse," and "Ben 10 (2016)." Ben 10 has had some tv movies/crossovers and live action movies too! The series explores themes of heroism, responsibility, and the consequences of wielding great power. Ben's journey involves not only battling villains, but also learning to use the Omnitrix responsibly. "Ben 10" has resonated with audiences for its engaging storytelling, diverse set of characters, and the imaginative concept of a young hero with the ability to transform into powerful aliens. The franchise's continued success reflects its lasting appeal to viewers of all ages.

9: Invincible
The most recent series on my list will be the more adult themed superhero show Invincible. "Invincible" is an animated superhero television series based on the comic book of the same name by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker. The show was produced by Simon Racioppa for Amazon Prime Video and premiered in 2021. "Invincible" addresses mature themes, including morality, identity, and the consequences of power. The series delves into darker and more complex aspects of superhero storytelling. "Invincible" stands out for its gripping narrative, well-developed characters, and a willingness to explore the darker aspects of superhero lore. It has been praised for its mature and nuanced approach to the genre, making it a notable addition to the superhero television landscape.

8: Powerpuff Girls
When I was a child other boys would usually look at you weirdly if you watched "a girly" show like Powerpuff Girls, however it was actually excellent and IF those people who looked down on the show bothered to watch an episode they would get a lot more out of it than what they thought. "The Powerpuff Girls" is an animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken. The show premiered on Cartoon Network in 1998 and quickly became a popular and iconic animated series. Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup help inspire a generation of children with their strong, independent female characters. "The Powerpuff Girls" is celebrated for its humour, unique characters, and its positive representation of strong female protagonists. It remains a cultural touchstone in the world of animated television and has retained its popularity over the years.

7: Teen Titans
T-E-EN T-I-T-ANS TEEN TITANS LETS GO! The show that made me love the young group of superheroes is the Cartoon Network first run of the show. Mature story line and good laughs and memorable moments made this show so good and really put TEEN TITANS ON THE MAP! "Teen Titans" is an animated television series that premiered on Cartoon Network in 2003 and ran for five seasons until 2006. The show was created by Glen Murakami and Sam Register, and it is based on the DC Comics superhero team, the Teen Titans. The series features a memorable soundtrack, including the opening theme "Teen Titans Theme" performed by Puffy AmiYumi. While "Teen Titans" concluded its original run in 2006, it has remained popular through reruns, home media releases, and streaming services. The series is praised for its engaging storytelling, well-developed characters, and unique approach to animated superhero content.

6: X-Men Animated
Without this show, I probably would not have known or heard or cared about the X-men. Awesome metal theme song that was so catchy with its screeching guitar. Memorable characters and moments. The show introduced me to Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops, Jubilee, Magneto, Gambit, Cable, Sentinels, Mutants, Professor X, Jean Gray and so many more! "X-Men: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1997. The show is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, the X-Men, and it became one of the most beloved and influential animated adaptations of the X-Men franchise. The iconic and memorable opening theme, composed by Ron Wasserman, is one of the most recognized and beloved theme songs in animated television. The show's success led to the creation of various X-Men merchandise, including action figures, comic book adaptations, and video games. "X-Men: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its faithful adaptation of the X-Men comics, its engaging storytelling, and its contribution to the cultural prominence of superhero animation in the 1990s.

5: Superman animated
"Superman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that aired from 1996 to 2000. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series is part of the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) and serves as a companion to "Batman: The Animated Series." and also the next entry on my list. Tim Daly provides the voice for Superman/Clark Kent, Dana Delany voices Lois Lane, and Clancy Brown voices Lex Luthor. The strong voice cast contributes to the series' quality. The show has the same distinctive look and feel as JLU and Batman Animated Series. The series introduces new characters, including the sympathetic villain Mercy Graves and the superhero Steel (John Henry Irons). The musical score by composer Shirley Walker adds to the epic and emotional tone of the series. "Superman: The Animated Series" is considered a successful and well-received adaptation of the Superman character. It contributed to the enduring popularity of animated superhero shows in the late 20th century.
The series has continued to be appreciated by fans for its faithful representation of Superman, its engaging storytelling, and its contributions to the broader DC Animated Universe.

4: Justice League
Not to be confused with it's sequel JL Unlimited, The series explores the dynamics within the Justice League as these iconic heroes come together to face powerful threats that no single hero could handle alone. The series features a notable voice cast, with Kevin Conroy as Batman, George Newbern as Superman, and Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, among others. Compared to previous animated adaptations, "Justice League" adopts a darker and more mature tone, reflecting the tone of DC Comics in the early 2000s. "Justice League" is considered a landmark animated series that brought together DC's most iconic superheroes. It paved the way for the expansion of the DC Animated Universe with the sequel series "Justice League Unlimited."  After two seasons, the series was rebranded as Justice League Unlimited, a successor series which aired for three seasons. It is the first series in the DC Animated Universe to fully use digital ink and paint, also the first to be produced in widescreen starting in Season 2.

3: Batman Beyond
I was a big fan of this growing up, and I need to rewatch it Terry was such a breath of fresh air to Batman and I need more badly of this show or a live action film or something more to continue or reboot it please. "Batman Beyond" is an animated television series that aired from 1999 to 2001, and it serves as a continuation of the Batman animated series franchise. Created by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett, "Batman Beyond" explores a futuristic Gotham City and introduces a new character taking on the mantle of Batman. The series is set in a future Gotham City, approximately 40 years after the events of "Batman: The Animated Series." Technology has advanced, and the original Batman, Bruce Wayne, is now an elderly man. "Batman Beyond" introduces new villains alongside some familiar faces from Batman's rogues' gallery. The series explores the impact of futuristic technology on crime and vigilantism. Will Friedle voices Terry McGinnis/Batman, and Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The continuity in voice casting helps bridge the connection to the previous animated series. "Batman Beyond" received acclaim for its fresh approach to the Batman mythology, blending noir aesthetics with a futuristic setting. The series has maintained its popularity over the years and is considered a standout in the realm of animated superhero storytelling. Happy 25 Years To Batman Beyond!

2: Spider-Man (90s animated series)
Growing up, I was a big fan of Spider-man and the number 1 spot on my list. It's a shame we never had more of this amazing show. The "Spider-Man" animated series from the 1990s is a classic-animated television show based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It originally aired from 1994 to 1998 and is widely regarded as one of the most beloved and iconic adaptations of Spider-Man in animated form. Unlike some animated series of its time, "Spider-Man" embraced long-form storytelling, with overarching plot lines that extended over multiple episodes. This allowed for more in-depth exploration of characters and story arcs. The series had crossovers with other Marvel characters and storylines, introducing viewers to characters like the X-Men, Iron Man, and The Fantastic Four. The series is well-known for its catchy theme song, composed by Joe Perry of Aerosmith. The theme song is often considered one of the most recognizable and beloved animated series themes. "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its engaging storytelling, memorable characters, and its ability to capture the essence of Spider-Man's comic book adventures. It remains a nostalgic favourite for fans of both Spider-Man and animated superhero television.

1: Batman The Animated Adventures
OK growing up to no surprises I loved and binged these top 3 but the most I watched and had action figures of was from Batman. "Batman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1995. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest animated series and one of the best adaptations of the Batman character. Created by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski, the series is known for its unique visual style, mature storytelling, and iconic voice cast. The series is renowned for its distinctive Art Deco-inspired animation and design, giving Gotham City a timeless and atmospheric look. We had all of Batman's rouge gallery appear, but also we had a brand-new star arrive and breakout from the series one we all know and love named Harley Quinn. This show had a star-studded cast, the iconic Kevin Conroy, the legendary Mark Hamil and Arleen Sorkin. The show won many emmy's. Shirley Walker provided the Danny Elfman inspired soundtrack from the Batman 1989 film. The influence of "Batman: The Animated Series" extends beyond its initial run, with its legacy evident in subsequent Batman adaptations, animated series, and the broader landscape of superhero storytelling. It remains a beloved and influential cornerstone of animated television.

10: Mark Briscoe
After the tragic passing of his brother Jay, Mark Briscoe has stepped up and ensured the legacy of Jay carries on and stays strong, with Mark carrying on. He's a great performer and entertainer and has had amazing matches and moments this year.

9: Jay White
The bang bang gang's leader makes my list after being so entertaining and hard-working, Jay White is one of the best talents on the planet and no doubt in time he will be on the mountain top.

8: Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston is finally getting the gold and recognition after all this time, the dude puts on a hell of a performance and makes everything blurred feeling so real. He's a hell of a guy and after winning the ROH world title he is here on the list.

7: Daniel Garcia
The pro wrestler and dragon slayer dances his way onto the list, he's a tough cookie, and he continues to walk the line of sports entertainer and pro wrestler.

6: Christian
Silence for our Father figure is here haaha yes, Christian has certainly made the rounds and improved himself to extraordinary levels this year, all by adopting some young talent with no dads and being the ultimate villain.

5: Samoa Joe
The most dominant ROH tv champ in history is here, I have loved Joe for years and this year he's had a great push and even if it was weird for him to drop his roh title just to fight max one more time, it's also cool because he's a shark in a small tank, and he wants to go eat bigger prey.

4: John Moxley
No list would be complete without the Mox himself, Honestly every top 10 AEW talent list should always include Mox somewhere, he is an absolute unit!

3: Orange Cassidy
The careless fighting champion who is freshly squeezed, he has held the international title twice and defended it for 326 days and that equals over 30 opponents! He has worked effortlessly defending his title and being banged up and then coming back healed after losing his title only to win it back, and he's still defending it as of writing haha.

2: Swerve Strickland
Top rope catch a vibe, because I swerve when I drive! WHO'S HOUSE?! SWERVE'S HOUSE! So his feud's have been incredible and Swerve continues to improve and build and get bigger and bigger with each time he sets foot in any arena. His recent Hangman feud was insane, and their death match was a mega contender for match of the year, there's no way to not have Swerve anywhere else on my list than right here. I can't wait for him to go beef it up with MJF.

1: MJF
He's our Scumbag, and he is number 1 here on my list. What can we say about Max? He's a megastar, hard-working, great moves, stories and promos' that hit out of this world. Max holds the longest aew world title reign and his character is ever evolving and so layered and his stories and feuds this year has been outstanding, and I can't wait for more.

That concludes my AEW lists, thanks for visiting my blog and reading these posts :)

Top 10 AEW Females 2023

Aew has a stacked roster and I was recently asked about who are my fave female wrestlers in AEW,
So here are my top 10 of this year :)
10: Jade Cargill
The longest reigning TBS champ and also with a long reigning undefeated streak, Jade left AEW earlier this year for new pastures and no doubt she will be an even bigger success.

9: D.M.D. Britt Baker
Of course, I will put Britt on my list, she is an exceptional talent, and although we have seen less of her the past few months, she certainly is a staple in AEW.

8: Taya Valkyrie
Although Taya has been around for years and a fave of mine since appearing in TNA, she has gone to AEW this year and made a nice impact....no pun intended.

7: Skye Blue
A new talent that first emerged full of smiles and with lots of internet love for her *ahem* "asset" but since feuding with Julia Hart she has been getting darker and more violent and rocks a new look at the moment. A great athlete and even more mysterious gimmick.

6: Willow Nightingale
Another relatively new talent, Willow has exploded on the scene with her bold yet friendly nature and loveable smile and personality, I am happy enough to list her here as she has impressed me throughout her time.

5: Saraya
Saraya had an amazing moment this year in AEW ALL IN London unfortunately it was not capitalized up on. She still has it and is a draw.

4: Hikaru Shida
Shida is always a phenomenal talent, and she always deserves to be on any AEW womens list.

3: Kris Statlander
Since returning from injury and beating the undefeated TBS champ, Kris has been on fire and keeps getting better with each defence.

2: Julia Hart
A cheerleader turned into a dark and gothic, mysterious force of nature with The House Of Black. I am happy she won the TBS title recently, she has been built up so well and gets better and better every week. She is also AEW's youngest champion in history at just 22 years old.

1:Toni Storm
It's Toni's world, and we are clearly living in it. The descent into her madness and Hollywood stardom has been incredible, and in a short time she has run up 3 title reigns as AEW women's champ.

That is my list all done, look out for my top 10 tag teams and AEW Male Wrestlers lists, both coming out soon! Thanks for reading and visiting, Stay Shiny!

This list will not be featuring tag teams from NJPW or other British or other indie companies purely because I do not watch a lot of them as compared to WWE, AEW & TNA.
10: DIY
Recently reformed and as good as ever.

9: The Creed Brothers aka Diamond Mine
Now, it's taken me a long time to like these boys, but the past few months they have come into their own and their current main roster run has been insane!

6: Bullet Club Gold
The Bang Bang Gang are absolutely extraordinarily talented wrestlers and are so entertaining also, shoutout to Cardblade haha.

3: The Acclaimed
Entertaining, fun, funny, strong and athletic the acclaimed have it all, so SCISSOR ME DADDY ASS!!!

2: House Of Black
A brickhouse, a follower, a wraith and a leader of darkness make up the highly mysterious, interesting and dangerous team of the House Of Black and the house always wins.

1: The Judgment Day
I love this team, it's all of my fave wrestlers in one group and the dark edge to them is always fascinating to see play out also the fact they hold a lot of the wwe gold is something special.

Top 10 Yakuza Game Songs!

Now, the past few years I have become a mega fan of one Kiryu-Chan and of course Majima-San and all the rest of the ragtag crue. The Yakuza games are a series of seriousness with comedic sub-stories and moments amongst an ever-growing and evolving, tense story of the Japanese mob. I will be picking 10 of my fave songs across the series today. If your fave is not on the list then prepare to attack me randomly at any time just like Majima would haha.
10: 24 Hour Cinderella
Kicking off the list with Majima covering this lovely upbeat pop ballad with his sparkly fun uniform.

9: Friday Night
Who remembers dancing to this absolute mega banger on the dance floor in Yakuza 0. It's so damn good!

8: Majima Construction Song
Everyone, please raise for our national anthem! Need I say more? We are Majima construction, we build shit!

7: Akuma No Jigokunabe
I love metal and this is the most metal song in the series, and it's a great song!

6: Harapeko Biyori
I love the chill nature of this song and also how culturally diverse it is. Lovely song. I feel like I could happily defuse a device with this one.

5: Get Them
Alright looks like Mr Beat Em Up wants to go 1v1 yet again, show him who's boss and take all his money and whatever you do.....DON'T HOLD.....BACK!!!!

4: Funk Goes on
Alright there are a bunch of guys standing in your way and the objective, what do you do if you can't go under or over them? GO THROUGH THEM!!!! The ultimate hype fight song!

3: Sayonara Silent Night
A recent entry to the series but oh my god, I fell in love with it in an instant, and it's so beautiful, it makes me teary-eyed, I don't want to say goodbye to our best boy Kiryu anytime soon.

2: Bakamitai
Of course, our fave boy Kiryu-Chan singing this created a strong meme, and it's also a beautiful song and Kiryu's rendition is powerful. Raise your lighters up and sing along now, Dame Da Ne.

1: JUDGEMENT
To not have this in at first place would easily be considered....BREAKING THE LAW!!! WE'RE BREAKING THE WORLD! Kiryu and his brotherly bond with Nishki covering this is just unmatched, and I love the energy in the song given from them and just the song overall.

And that is my list, go check out the Yakuza and Like A Dragon games please, they are phenomenal.
Thanks for visiting my blog and reading my lists, I appreciate it, now go be like a dragon and stay shiny!

No sleep til we get revenge on behalf of our beloved Raccoon!

Uh oh. here comes Adam Warlock.

I'm distracting you, ya big turd blossom!

OK so we are at number 3 and here is a personal fave song and from the opening title sequence it's ELO's Mr Blue Sky.

2: Hooked On A Feeling - Blue Swede
Probably one of the biggest most infectious songs to come from GOTG is this hit!

James Gunn said it best, "when I think of the Guardians, Come and get your love plays" it is iconic and synonymous with them.

Top 10 Aerosmith Songs

Here's a list that is overdue haha, my apologies for not bringing it out sooner, but it is time to delve in deep and go crazy but don't cry at this most sweet emotional rock and roll list from the legendary Aerosmith!
10: Dude (Looks Like A Lady)
The song, which originally started out as "Cruisin' for a Lady", talks about a male with an effeminate appearance who is mistaken for a female. There is a story that the song was inspired by the glam look of the members of Mötley Crüe and their constant usage of the word "dude". Steven Tyler says in the book Walk This Way: The Autobiography of Aerosmith, "Then one day we met Mötley Crüe, and they're all going, 'Dude!' Dude this and Dude that, everything was Dude. 'Dude (Looks Like a Lady)' came out of that session." Joe Perry came up with the chorus riff, and Tyler came up with the chorus refrain. In his recent book, The Heroin Diaries, Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe claims that the song was specifically inspired by Vince Neil, singer with Mötley Crüe.

9: Same Old Song And Dance
It's a story about people who make fucked up choices...if you don't change your ways, life's never going to change for you. It's the same old story, the same old song and dance

8: Sweet Emotion
Groupie drama much? It's a chill laid back song, and you have probably heard it many times and not known it was by Aerosmith haha.

7: Living On The Edge
it's about how bad the world has gotten, but it's the human race's fault, "There's something wrong with the world today, and God know's it ain't his." Along with addressing religion, racism, and how people would rather put the blame on someone else other than themselves, this song says that even though there's something wrong with the world, we'd rather keep hangin' on.

6: Love In An Elevator
Self-explanatory, let's have sex in an elevator and take our love to another level haha. Quite the catchy iconic song.

5: Crazy
great song, describing the pain of a guy whose girl messes him about, but he still loves her no matter what. Excellent guitar solo from Mr Perry, and check out 1 of the last lines where Steven goes so high-pitched, it sounds like a high guitar note...in fact, i can't tell if it is or not!

4: Cryin'
I think this song is about one of those relationships that you can't live with or without. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

3: Dream On
Steven Tyler was 17yrs old when he wrote Dream On. He also had wisdom back in the day. He writes about getting old. And not knowing where it comes from and where it goes, but to just sing with the laughter and the fear. And still after 40yrs it is their signature song.

2: Walk This Way (Ft RUN DMC)
Now the original is fine BUT the DMC collab made this song ten times better and it's so iconic! One of the most iconic crossovers in music history I would say. I had a tough time deciding if this should be number 1 or 2 and in the end and a little sing-song with my lighter raised in the air I decided this would have to be number 2 because the number one is sure to bring Armageddon.

1: I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
Yes here it is! Put those lighters in the air and sway your arms side to side as you belt this song out from the top of your lungs! It is filled with raw love. Passion and feeling that can never be bought. Feelings that once you feel, you're a changed person. An unbelievable closeness between 2 people out of almost 7,000,000,000 people on the planet. That is what life is all about. When you get it, hold on forever

Ok so how was this list for you? Was it good? What would be your top 10? Let me know and as always share this list with fellow fans or any fans of music. I appreciate your time!
Stay shiny!

Top 10 King810 Songs

Get the body bags ready, ready your weapons and come take a trip to murder city with metal legends King810! I got into King810 in 2015 when they supported Slipknot on their UK tour. King 810 are an American heavy metal band from Flint, Michigan, formed in 2007. The band currently consists of David Gunn and Eugene Gill. The band's first release was their independent EP titled Midwest Monsters in 2012, which earned them a signing with Roadrunner Records; they released their second EP titled Proem in 2014, and their debut studio album Memoirs of a Murderer that same year. In June 2012, Gunn was assaulted when he refused to hand over a bag during a robbery. He was shot and stabbed, but survived the attack and went on to write for the band's debut and independent EP, Midwest Monsters, which was heavily inspired by that particular event and previous experiences. I have seen King810 live twice and I recommend the experience.
10: Murder Murder Murder
Kicking off my list hard with Murderx3. The riff here is addictive and so are Davids harsh raspy vocals.

9: Ak Concerto No. 47 Bang Guns
I will be perfectly honest the aggressive yet catchy "OOH OOH AH OOH OOH AH"' parts make this take a spot on my list because it is so fun and catchy, and it's a god-damn fire chorus.

8: Bang Guns
A different sound compared to many of the songs on my list with this one having more rap, trap, dubstep feel to it. The chorus is great and gets stuck in your head easily.

7: I Am The Enemy
I love the flow and how catchy this song is. The way the chorus is run and put together is really something else, it stands out and lingers long in the mind.

6: Say Cheese & Die
This is quickly becoming an all-time fave for me, it's a recently released track from King's newest album and it is so damn catchy, I love how it flows and the instrumentals in this. King at its best!

5: I Ain't Going Back Again
A softer yet sombre song. Song all about not going back again to that dark mindset, drugs, jail, gangs you know it's about quitting those bad and dark habits. Great storytelling and a memorable chorus.

4: War Outside
I love the aggression and the catchy chorus, It makes me want to cause some environmental destruction and make it look like a warzone. THERE'S A WAR OUTSIDE! Unrelated but King's Memoirs album is an absolute masterpiece and I love it so much.

3: Desperate Lovers
Now when I first heard this it was live in concert, and I was like "oooh this is good" I loved the heaviness and the groove and riff it was all so just addicting and metal. Catchy and aggressive.

2: Fat Around The Heart
Lyrics like a lot of King 810 songs are self-explanatory as David walks us through his feelings and experiences. Fat around the heart meaning there's people that have not seen or done the things David has experienced. This is one of King's most popular songs.

1: Killem All
The first time I have seen King and heard this live I was blown away, and I felt so connected to the aggression and rage and the story being told. This one really brought to life the inner primal aggression buried deep within. My absolute favourite song.

Okie dokie so this brutality was my list and I hope you liked it and if you had no idea who King810 are, well you are welcome for the education I brought to you. Thanks for reading, feel free to share it to metal fans or fellow King810 fans alike.

Top 10 Mortal Kombat Games

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!

Dun dun dun da da dun dun dun dada dun dun dun dun da da

Welcome back to my blog and here and today's list is my top 10 fave MK games!
Let's get a flawless victory here today!

10: Mortal Kombat
The original Mortal Kombat's significance can't be ignored. The game revolutionized the fighting genre with characters that were digitized versions of real-life actors, and its shocking, gory Fatality moves were so controversial that they essentially birthed the ESRB game-ratings system.

9: MK 2
This expanded upon everything great with MK 1 and added in some new now iconic characters.

8: Shaolin Monks
Shaolin Monks is the third, and most recent, spin-off game of the series, and it’s no doubt the best. The plot is the most interesting of any of the action-adventure games. The beat ’em up aspect of the gameplay definitely adds some much-needed excitement to spin-offs that otherwise haven’t worked very well in this franchise.

7: Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance righted the ship after the disappointing Mortal Kombat 4, delivering a much tighter 3D combat system that introduced the ability to switch fighting styles midbattle. In what would become a tradition for the franchise, Deadly Alliance came loaded with content, including a single-player Konquest mode and a treasure trove of unlockable secrets known as the Krypt. Deadly Alliance felt both fresh and like a return to form when it released in 2002, and it laid the groundwork for future 3D iterations to come.

6: Deception
Mortal Kombat: Deception built on everything that was great about Deadly Alliance, beefing up the roster while expanding on the single-player mode and introducing online play to the series. Minigames such as Puzzle Kombat and Chess Kombat delivered some hilariously fun diversions from the fighting.

5:  MK 3
Mortal Kombat 3 was a major leap forward for the franchise, introducing the series'’ now-signature Dial-a-Combo system, upping the pace with a Run button and adding in the ability to uppercut your opponent through a ceiling and perform ridiculous Animalities. The roster expanded to include eventual favorites like Sektor, Cyrax and Kabal, though the exclusion of staples such as Scorpion and Kitana puzzled gamers. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 cemented its place as one of the finest in the series. In addition to bringing back the aforementioned key characters and adding some new stages, UMK3 introduced 2-on-2 and Tournament modes while adding new moves for much of the existing cast. This resulted in the most jampacked and fun Mortal Kombat yet, one that sent this classic trilogy off in style.

4: MK11
This game explored the furthest reaches of the Mortal Kombat lore, introduced another suite of memorable characters, and embraced the Mortal Kombat community in unprecedented ways. Whether you’re talking the nods to the series’ past or the massive Aftermath expansion that added an entire second story mode (featuring actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprising his role as Shang Tsung from the beloved 1995 film), Mortal Kombat 11 delivers full throttle on every front.

3: MK X
After MK9 returned the series to its roots, Mortal Kombat X began pushing the series forward in exciting ways. The awesome X-ray attacks returned in spades, with more gruesome how-did-they-get-up-from-that moves than in MK9, but the star of the show is the suite of new characters. Whether you’re talking the ice cold mercenary Erron Black, the new generation of kombatants in Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs, or the wildly unsettling D’Vorah, Mortal Kombat X delivered some of the most memorable characters since the original trilogy. Not only that, but the story mode weaves them together in compelling ways as they once again battle for the fate of the realms so this one really stands out for me.

2: Armageddon
What was supposed to be the ultimate culmination of the first decade and a half of the Mortal Kombat franchise gave players a lot to look forward to. Not only was every single Mortal Kombat character (at that time) included in Armageddon, but you could even create your own fighters to join the roster. We can't forget the story, the arcade endings and Kart Kombat!

1: MK 2011
NetherRealm Studios took the Mortal Kombat franchise back to basics in more ways than one. Not only did Mortal Kombat 9 return the series to its 2D fighting roots, but it also brought players back from the brink of Armageddon with a storyline that travelled in time to the beginning of the story, retelling a modified version of the events of the first three games. Aside from bringing together a collection of the series’ most iconic characters, Mortal Kombat 9 also introduced the beloved X-ray moves, where you could see the havoc being wreaked on the recipient’s innards. Perhaps MK9’s biggest legacy over the decade since its launch is its emphasis on narrative storytelling, which established the franchise as the best-in-class storyteller in the fighting game genre.

Top 10 Foo Fighters Songs

What if i said this list is not like the others?
What if I asked how the devil are you? How about we get on the list?

So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Monkey Wrench
Grohl told Mojo magazine January 2010 this is about the disintegration of his marriage to photographer Jennifer Youngblood: "It's about living with someone and feeling like you're living in a fu--ing cell. And then I wound up getting a divorce," he said. Good entry to the top 10 is this fast energetic 1 in 10 song.

9: Arlandria
Arlandria is a town in Virginia where Dave said he lived when he moved back there, he also said Virginia is his mom's name so I think the "my sweet Virginia, I'm the same as I was in your arms" might be a double meaning. overall I think it's him kind of saying, I'm gonna be myself, if I'm not who you want me to be then back off. It hits hard and then slows but god is this a good one!

8: Times Like These
It's times like these I sit and think wow, Foo's have some class tracks haha. The lyrics discuss how Dave Grohl felt "like I wasn't entirely myself" during the three-month hiatus the Foo Fighters entered following the tense and unsatisfying first recording sessions for One by One, as well as his uncertainty about the future of the band. This one makes me feel nostalgic thinking of times with my friends.

7: Best Of You
I've got another confession to make this one is awesome. The song doesn't have to be confined to cliched songs about love and relationships, it's about "breaking free from things that confine you", as said by Dave Grohl. At the risk of sounding sentimental, it could be breaking free from the things in you that were holding you down, all the regrets, all the pain, that you may have felt, everything that which is holding down your full potential. Such an inspiring song, feels good man.

6: My Hero
Aim for the bushes because there goes my hero at number 6. Dave said "['My Hero' is] my way of saying that when I was young, I didn't have big rock heroes, I didn't want to grow up and be some big sporting hero. My heroes were ordinary people and the people that I have a lot of respect for are just solid everyday people - people you can rely on.". Honestly one of their best songs!

5: All My Life
Dave Grohl has said that this is about cunnilingus, which is the female equivalent of fellatio. Listen to the lyrics, and you'll hear the innuendoes: "I love it but I hate the taste," "Over and over down on my knees." "yeah this song is kinda dirty". Angsty tune for me love this makes me headbang and sing along as loud as i can cruising home.

4: Walk
I think it's about finally getting a shot at something and taking full advantage of it, living in the moment, embracing life, TRIUMPH! The best song from their hit album wasting light.

3: Everlong
Everlong was written against the background of the break-up of Dave Grohl's first marriage to photographer Jennifer Youngblood. Having returned home to Virginia for Christmas 1996, Grohl turned the initial riff into a complete song and wrote the lyrics after falling for a new woman, "That song's about a girl that I'd fallen in love with and it was basically about being connected to someone so much, that not only do you love them physically and spiritually, but when you sing along with them you harmonise perfectly." There was a girl I used to like and this song would make me cry a lot because I felt it was how my situation and feelings were for her.

2: The Pretender
Grohl revealed in an interview with the XFM Radio station that they put this song together in a day, while other tracks on the record took several weeks. In the same interview he alluded that the song referred to political unrest and people not getting what they're promised but would prefer people to have their own idea or interpretation. Such an anthem man, one of my all time faves.

1: Learn To Fly
My first time hearing Foo Fighters was with this song and it's one of my faves of theirs, comedic video and catchy great tune to boot. The music video for the song was directed by Jesse Peretz and won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video. The music video features the Foo and Tenacious D and it's a parody of Airplane basically so what could go wrong? First song and fave song from the Foo's for me.

Thanks for reading, that's my list, come back again for more blogs and top 10s and all other assorted bits and bobs to make you laugh and make you think.

Top 10 Dua Lipa songs

Hey, what's up?
I hope you are well today, so here's a different list as not too long ago I got myself into Dua Lipa and I purchased Future Nostalgia album and loved all the songs on there.
I am also including collabs with Dua in this list.
So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Cool
In a statement to Apple Music where Lipa broke down each track on the “Future Nostalgia” album, Lipa explained the process behind “Cool” and her initial reaction to the song: “My A&R played me this song two years ago, and I instantly hated it. I was like, “Please never play me this again.” But a year down the line, when I was writing, he sat me down and was like, “I have something to play you.” And he just played the instrumental and I was like, “This is actually really good with no lyrics.” I went into the studio with Tove Lo and just had fun exploring. It has some Prince influences, and it was a range of my voice I hadn’t tried. This whole album was about exploring growth and trying out new things, so I wanted to embrace challenges. We wrote something that felt really real to me, and it’s just a romantic, summery song, about meeting someone who has you losing all your cool.”. Catchy and laid back this just gripped me through my first listen of Future Nostalgia and stuck with me since like a summer breeze through your hair on a car journey.

9: Break My Heart
"Break My Heart" is an funky disco-pop song where Dua Lipa questions whether a new love will leave her nursing a broken heart again. The chorus is so catchy, cant help singing along to it.

8: Prisoner
The synth-heavy rock track is a blend of Dua's techno and Miley's pop-rock styles. Cyrus told Zane Lowe it was one of several songs the two powerhouse divas cut together. "She wanted to keep going until it was right, until we found the one that honours our individuality," she said of Lipa. "We just waited until we felt like, "Now this is Dua-Miley song. You can just, everything about it reflects us." A great collab by Miley and Dua, often bopping my head to this song and singing along, it does stick in your head and becomes such a ear worm but hey its good.

7: One Kiss
This up-tempo track finds Calvin Harris paying homage to '90s-style house music. The song features seductive vocals about the power of a kiss by Dua Lipa. Harris has been a fan of the British-Albanian songstress since she released "Be The One" in 2015. "I just want to make dance music again, it seemed like a good opportunity to make a house-sounding record with her," he said in an interview with Zane Lowe. Dua Lipa is no stranger to successful collaborations, having scored UK Top 20 hits on "Scared To Be Lonely" with Martin Garrix and Sean Paul's "No Lie." This is one of the earliest songs I heard from Dua but i just appreciate it more now that I am into her music more, its a good collab.

6: New Rules
It's about someone trying to move on from a relationship and establishing new rules with herself to keep herself from falling back into that failed relationship. Damn catchy, this was the first song i was exposed to of hers and i did not think so much of it but since i have gotten fully into Dua, I do appreciate and enjoy this song more.

5: Hallucinate
Lyrically, the song finds Dua Lipa singing about loving someone so much it's making her lose her mind and "hallucinate." I enjoy listening to this, even making my own dance moves for this song in my head and whilst showering haha, so damn fun and catchy.

4: Levitating
Dua Lipa's songs are often upbeat musically, but with downbeat lyrics about romantic difficulties ("Don't Start Now," "Break My Heart"). However, "Levitating" is an all-round euphoric jam. "It's about having fun and meeting someone and falling in love and thinking, 'You've probably met me at the perfect time, let's just go for it," Dua Lipa explained to Apple Music. "It's the feeling when love makes you feel like you're levitating. It's otherworldly." A damn fine catchy tune here i cant help singing along to, almost got all the lyrics down still working on it hehe but i love this.

3: Physical
"Physical" is an upbeat electropop number in which Dua Lipa celebrates her intimacy with her lover. The song channels Olivia Newton-John's 1981 hit of the same name. A great song to jog or run to when the beat kicks in, i cant help but to do a flash dance rain scene whilst singing to this jam ah ha.

2: Don't Start Now
The jealous ex just can't stand the fact that the singer is over their relationship. Dua Lipa tells him he's better off staying away rather than seeing her dancing with somebody else. "It's about moving on," Lipa told Radio.com. "It's about finding confidence in that and not letting anyone get in the way of your happiness. I think it's always important to remember that your happiness should come first." Regularly dancing and singing along to this and even showing the emote off in fortnite from this song haha, i loves it mun!

1: Love Again
After going through a toxic relationship, Lipa had given up on love, but now she's found somebody she can love again. Dua Lipa explained during an episode of the Netflix series Song Exploder that at the time she wrote the track, she was in a long-term relationship with a man who was being dishonest with her. Her inspiration was, "I need to be released from this." The song samples "My Woman" by Lew Stone & The Monseigneur Band and Al Bowlly, which Bing Crosby co-wrote and originally recorded. White Town famously sampled its trumpet instrumental in his 1997 hit "Your Woman." Both "Love Again" and "Your Woman" share the theme of an unhappy relationship and breakup. Like omg is this such a tune, i really love this song so much!

So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Arrival - Sting
New to the brand but a legend in the ring Sting shocked the world a few months back by appearing in AEW. Of course with Sting here we can't help but to always shout at the arrival of the immortal one with a loud "WOO!" and say "IT'S STIIIIIIIIIIINGG!!!!!!!".

9: Everybody Dies - Lance Archer
So destructive and unstable just like the murderhawk, i really like his theme.

8: Join Us - Dark Order
Cult like and dark and intimidating as are the team of the Dark Order but also the theme is very badass heavy and catchy now JOIN US.

7: Juicy - Orange Cassidy
Far out man it's the laid back freshly squeezed one himself. I love Orange he is so funny but also he is such a great talent.

6: Battle Cry - Kenny Omega
Video game themed suiting Kenny's likes and ofcourse when it kicks in with that demonic voice and speedy instrumentals it's so good and really makes him stand out.

5: Kingdom - Cody Rhodes
Cody's theme is iconic with AEW and himself and it's so catchy, fits him and its a great bop.

4: Tarzan Boy - Jungle Boy
Tony Khan the mad legend himself surprised us and Jungle Boy with this hell of a Christmas present a 80s classic and one which is so fun it represents Jungle Boy to a tee for so many obvious reasons, belter of a song and a hell of a competitor is Jungle Boy.

3: I Fell - Darby Allin
Slow, unsteady, calm but collected and very impactful, Darby is such an enigma he's grown to become one of my favourite wrestlers since AEW has come about.

2: Unscripted Violence - Jon Moxley
Plug in and play but beware for here comes the MOX, talk about making yourself known with such a badass unrelating song to walk out to, perfect edgy fit for the maniac Jon is.

1: Judas - Chris Jericho
You can't help but to sing along and love this one. It's such a great song and so fitting for Jericho and this is my number one fave pick for my list.

(all aew names, songs, logos belong to their respective copyright holders!)
