Deadpool & Wolverine - Fox Swan Song (FILM REVIEW)

Alright so after an agonising long wait, we finally got Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen and our fave honey badger Australian in his iconic yellow suit. Joygasm!!!!🥵 Anyway time to explain the film's story and then touch upon my thoughts, LETS FUCKING GO!❤️💛❤️
Deadpool & Wolverine picks up few years after Deadpool 2 and Wade is retired and trying to live a normal life. However, Wades abuse of the time jumping and fixing has caught the attention of the TVA (some time line police agency for marvel) and so TVA tell Wade his universe is dying so Deadpool is forced to put on his big boy pants and has to save his world BUT we all know Deadpool only stops mini events at world domination and nothing as big as a world saver so Wade goes on a journey to recruit a Wolverine with attitude. Is it a good wolverine or a bad one he finds?🤔

On his time jumping journey we bump into familiar faces aswell as new and unexpected ones which is sure to get fans of all ages of all backgrounds excited and minds blown and their pants full so to speak😂 While trying to save his world our buddy's Wolverine and Deadpool scrap a few times and also run into Cassandra Nova and her band of mutant villains from all across the fox Xmen universe! Ooooh scary. Cassandra Nova is a pretty scary villain, she's an omega level mutant and she is the twin sister of a famous X-man. (I won't say more incase people don't know).🧐

So it's up to Deadpool and Wolverine to work together to save our "sacred timeline" but they are going to need a whole army to take down the likes of Cassandra Nova and her villainous mutants but who are they going to recruit? Find out by watching😊
So, the film I thought was great and basically fox's last stand or swan song essentially as we say hello and goodbye to their universes as Disney/Marvel owns the majority of them now. We have fabulous music choices and exciting over the top and hectic action sequences in between all the jokes and 4th wall breaks. The opening sequence was beautiful.

The action I felt was way too fast and I couldn't keep up at the best of times so another viewing is worth it to keep my eyes on someone else moving and killing in these action packed scenes. Cameos are good and in abundance, they should have not spoiled any of them in the trailers and some they did keep under wraps, thankfully. The action Choreography was incredible even if it was hard to keep up with watching. Shawn Levy did an incredible job with this film.

Wade and Logan are great and funny as always and as we could have ever imagined. The mouthy quippy whippy Deadpool meets our no nonsense stoic Wolverine and the characters are exactly as you expect. I wish we had some more time with our DEADPOOL friends from past two movies.

Lots of swearing and blood and gore. Here's hoping Deadpool is marvel jesus and ressurects the MCU otherwise I think MCU needs to do some more trimming and kill characters and films and things off to do a reset and hopefully focus on better stories and characters and overarching story telling.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the Spider-Man no way home of Deadpool and Wolverine's big screen outtings. A final send off to Fox's era of superheroes and an overall great movie.
9/10
Go enjoy it BUB!

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse FILM REVIEW!

Alright, let's do this one last time.....Let's follow Miles Morales as he navigates his life balancing school and being your friendly neighbourhood Spider-man. It's been a year since Miles entered into the Spiderverse now he's going to go on a journey across it, to stop the menacing SPOT! The Spot may look like your average weekly cartoon villain of the week but don't tell him that because he will lose his mind and unleash hell upon you because he's a slippery devil to catch, let alone fight. Miles ends up with old friend Gwen going to different realities trying to stop Spot all the while meeting many other different Spider-Men and Spider-Women throughout the 2 hour 16min feature animated film.
My god the different animation styles are insanely gorgeous and just so brilliant from all the different spider-peoples and their worlds. Gwen's in particular has some of the most beautiful blends of colours which reflect moods and emotions and the goings-on in the world and story perfectly. Hobie Brown aka Spider-Punk is a show stealer with his ever-changing animation! There is about 20 mins of flashbacks and reminders to the last film just to show you that all this came from some just unthinkable out-of-the-box foreshadowing, I have ever seen in a film. The Butterfly effect in this film is insane, the attention to details the animators and writers and directors had for these animated films is extraordinary and out of the park. The story is quite dark and mature for a family friendly film, but don't worry there are jokes here, and they are genuinely funny. There's so much I could say, but I want to keep this spoiler free. My faves are Miles, Gwen, Peter B Parker, Miguel O'Hara, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India, Spot and I know it's like I could name all the characters, but honestly they are all so good and the great writing and voice actors support it so much. There were some sound issues to start the film when I watched this, but It was not to a point where, I needed there to be subtitles haha.

Miles is fantastic as usual with his gripping story and how he balances life and spider-man. All the voice cast here are just excellent you know, I can't say enough of how good a job they have all done! All the cast and crew behind this film need a massive pat on the back for their outstanding efforts towards bringing us not only one of the best animated films and spider-man films ever made but also Spider-man stories! Daniel Pemberton kills it once more with his original OST! Metro Boomin with their licensed soundtrack is also a massive hit! Animation, music, soundtrack, voice cast, story are all outstanding, and I am willing to 100% say PHENOMENAL!

10/10!
This is in the league of the best Spider-Man films ever made and spoiler alert.......this was only part 1 of the two part Spider-verse films. March 29th 2024 cannot come quick enough!!!! Honestly I don't know what else to say. If you are a Spider-Man fan, you will love it. If you are not a Spider-Man go watch into the spiderverse first because you will be blown away! I got a video review on my youtube channel!

Thanks for visiting my blog true believers!

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 - MCU's Saving Grace Review

I laughed, I headbanged, I cried, I laughed, I cried, I headbanged and cried again. James Gunn's trilogy of Marvel masterpieces have come to an end. Ladies and Gents this is MCU's saving Grace and this is the end of the perfect trilogy and perfect run of characters the MCU has ever had. James Gunn helped save the mcu, and they should be so thankful and grateful for him.
Basic plot for GOTG3: Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect Rocket from the evil twisted villain The High Evolutionary. The team are in a race against time and if the mission is not successful, this will be the end of the Guardians forever.

GOTG3 is a heartbreaking, dramatic story full of heart, laughs and action! The High Evolutionary is the MCU's best villain! He's an evil bastard you detest from his first scene to his last. I see the good in Thanos plans, and he may have taken the most lives in MCU but High Evolutionary is a totally evil, twisted, maniacal bastard compared to any of the rest of the villains in the MCU. Everything in this film was well acted and crafted from its story and actors. Thank you to Gunn and all the cast and crew of all the guardians films for giving us the best films ever. The soundtrack as always for a guardians film, is top tier!

This is the first MCU film I've seen in cinemas since Multiverse Of Madness. It feels like this was the real deal, it felt like a big blockbusting, cinematic piece. All the previous films since Endgame have been lacklustre and boring and drained of the entertainment and heart to me personally. Now it's time for James Gunn to go and save the DC Universe.

A letter to Marvel Studios

Dear Marvel Studios & Disney & Kevin Feige,

I'm not being funny but your content is taking up a lot of room and you are making it impossible to catch up on all your tie in stories because of so many characters and TV shows aswell as movies.

Your content is very over saturated and so is the superhero movie genre especially to audiences of 12A please cut it back. Also if possible when making new hero shows please make it a 5 episode deal and also realise not every hero needs a TV show or even a film.

The time travel business was lame from Endgame and you also undid a lot of your best moments which was high stakes in killing off characters only to bring them back and also you guys made foolish mistakes in "snapping out" characters to just reveal "these guys are fine we got contracts signed for movies coming out for them after next avengers" so that ruined the illusion of anyone significant actually staying dead.

The multiverse inside the MCU is already feeling too full and convoluted and unnecessary and I hope to god with the new Dr strange film that they leave it all be then at the conclusion of the film. Yes it's nice and a cash grab to see and hype films based off the old marvel character cast like Tobey and Patrick Stewart but it's beyond time to move on from there and take risks and chance to recast characters. We need a new black panther and new xmen and so on. More confined solo films would also be nice.

Just like the lovely marvel comics not everything is connected or set in the same universe and being able to pick comics up and just jump in is nicer on the eyes and mind as compared to jumping into a film and realising most of the story and changes to a character happened in their own TV show of which you never had an interest in.

Comics and movies translate differently. Focus on good story telling and acting and less cgi lens flare heavy handed endings and with better writing for your villains and change your trope formula up and I may just be interested in the movies or shows again.

I was only interested in new Spiderman due to Tobey and all the old cast of villains. Other than that you had nothing of interest for me since you drafted Holland into being Iron Boy and not Spiderman, which made me resent and hate your MCU Spiderman to my core. Holland did well in the new Spiderman film its just funny that he had to lose everything to become God damn Spiderman and by himself however. Maybe Sony will handle the creative better. Well its not as if Venom movies were any good or Morbious will be spectacular either.

The fandom of MCU is a headache too. Anyway Too long didn't read, here's my issues and it's great to get it out and to address them.

Sincerely,

A Fan.

Top 10 MCU Movies (2008 - 2019)

The dust has settled and i feel it's time to do this list. I am only doing films from 2008 - 2019 at the moment okay, i know the mcu is ever expanding every year and superhero fatigue is strong but disney gonna milk that sum bitch dry of all its money til the money stops rolling in. So let's open the multiverse up and rank these suckers.
10: Ant Man
The movie that taught us never to underestimate any small superhero again, and made us want to buy some Ant-Man comic books. Entertaining and funny. The relationship between Scott and his daughter is also lovely and touching to watch.

9: Iron Man
The one that started the whole idea of a shared cinematic universe. Totally deserves the respect it gets. Robert Downey Jr. absolutely nails it as the arrogant, yet caring, Tony Stark. It's very entertaining and light hearted.

8: Avengers Age Of Ultron
Of course i wish Ultron could have been done and designed better but i still very much enjoyed this film.

7: Iron Man 2
The best iron man sequel, not that its saying much but i found this witty and very enjoyable from its character work to action scenes to soundtrack but the final act is messy.

6: Captain America: First Avenger
This is a really fun movie. Although not perfect, it's a film that anyone can just sit down and watch without having to google the previous 12 movies to decipher who all of the characters actually are and have a good time.

5:  Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2
Not as good as the original but still very entertaining and still makes this list as one of my faves, I love how much they flesh out these characters and the larger universe too.

4: Thor Ragnarok
This movie is so entertaining and exciting and the effects are really good, best Thor movie in my opinion.

3: Guardians Of The Galaxy vol:1
A great story, cast, soundtrack just no doubt about it, this is one of the riskiest moves for marvel which paid off so darn well. It's one of the best!

2: Endgame
I loved Thanos as a villain between this and Infinity War, I loved his final death. He knew he lost, he just sat down and took it like a man, no crying or last words. Great movie, but I preferred Infinity War, this had too many plot conveniences and the hype did not fully deliver for me but as a whole the fan service in the film and the imagery and cast and music is so good and has many fave moments of all time in the mcu for me in this.

1: Infinity War
This was a PERFECT culmination of 10 whole years and was, undoubtedly, a masterpiece. Josh Brolin did a REMARKABLE job as Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy and I'm glad we got to learn more about him in this movie. I loved the interaction between the characters and the actors' chemistry with each other, especially those who hadn't met beforehand! A villain so hard to hate is a great villain also. So yeah i feel this is the best we have had from MCU at this point.

So that's my top 10 MCU films, did they stack up to your liking? What is your 10?

What did this list cost?..............Everything.
Stay Shiny folks!

Spider-Man: Homecoming: Superhero Drop Out? (REVIEW/RANT)

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can! Spins a web.....hang on let him just make a formula for web cartridges and let him insert them into his wrist shooters....

Ok continue....Spins a web any size, catches thieves almost like flies he stumbles a long the way.....LOOK OUT! *Spidey gets hit by a bullet* For god sake i said "LOOK OUT!" not get hit by a bullet, COME ON WHERE'S YOUR SPIDER SENSE!?

Ok let's continue the song....here falls a Spider-Man? Whatever go on....Is he strong? Listen bud he can lift more in a Stark made outfit than he can without one, what's up with that? I know he is a teen he's pretty scrawny but still he is supposed to have super human strength...jesus just carry on.

He's got radioactive blood? No he does not because the purple glowy thing in the thing is said to react to radioactivity and blow up and so if Spidey is supposed to have radioactive blood why does the glowy thing not react to him holding it? Conclusion....no radio active blood maybe?

On with the song....Can he swing from a thread? (Surprisingly so) Hey there! There goes the Spider-Man (do a flip!). In the chill of night, at the scene of a crime, in a streak of light, he arrives just in time (i guess) , Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Friendly neighbour hood Spider-Man (now that is true!) , Wealth and fame, He's ignored (Eh) , Action is his reward (Not really) , To him, life is a great big bang up (yeah if he's not passed his training wheels program), Wherever there's a hang up, You'll find the Spider-Man.

More or less i covered my review in the Spider-Man theme song for crying out loud. I love Spider-Man he was the first hero i got into as a kid. He introduced me to Marvel. I loved the Rami trilogy. The Garfield double was bad. Civil War Holland was amazing and stole the film. Spidey in homecoming in his big MCU outing well it has problems and feels more like spidey is trapped in an iron man film but yeah he put on a great performance.

Now Spiderman Homecoming review/rant will continue in full below.....

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

I would have liked a throwback 5 min origins clip and not just a two second "oh I got bitten by a spider and here we are" when really honestly it does seem 95% of the film is just him relying on Tony Stark and the suit Stark made him for his powers.

Spiderman does not need Tony Stark at all and the fact the MCU writers believe he does is annoying. They did not give him his one signature power either which is SPIDER SENSE! Yes that's right it was not in the fucking movie and that royally bugged me. There was pieces in the movie where you were like well I was like "ok a nice slow mo dodge here now...PETE WHAT THE FUCK!? WHY DID YOU NOT DODGE!? DO YOU NOT HAVE SPIDER SENSE?! Wait.......he does not have spider sense? MARVEL YOU HAVE FUCKED UP YOUR OWN CREATION, LET SONY HAVE HIM FOR GOOD!" That how i feel over the fact that he has no spider sense i did not see any part in the film where he had spider sense so if you seen that part come point it out to me so i can FLAME OFF.  So yes I protested heavily in my mind about that. Maybe Spider sense and spidey's abilities come like puberty does for him? After watching civil war and spiderman homecoming again in one night it does seem he was shown off better in Civil War and may have some spider sense but its not directly mentioned or shown just now and again he will dodge a punch or something going to hit him.

Nice little Scorpion nod. Vulture was great. A lot of Vulture scenes and motives and some spidey scenes echoed that of the Sam Rami trilogy which was a nice homage i thought.

A Indian smart Flash Thompson!? Marvel stop trying to change everything in your cinematic universe to keep diversities happy, I HAVE NOT read or seen any Spidey comic with Flash not as a white jock character who bullies others. Flash is a white jock guy who bullies Pete and others in school, a simple thing to get right and you swerve and fuck that up I mean how?!

Comedy was good it did hit a bit. Aunt May, jesus Christ so lame, the movie even took the piss of her being "attractive". Michael Keaton played Vulture brilliantly and stole the show. The first guy who played Shocker I liked but the second I did not why? The first one had more of an attitude that the Shocker i know has and was like and it did annoy me Shocker only had one shock gauntlet. Holland was good very entertaining. Tony Starks time in the film was roughly half hour so more than a Stan Lee cameo. Michelle and Ned were entertaining also. If Michelle ends up as MJ you know Mary Jane Watson i will be disappointed. Lots of references to spidey abilities I liked and a certain suit.

Its a spiderman film in a iron man film if that makes sense honestly its better than Garfields spiderman but not better than Tobey's. The film I would have made much more different some parts should have been cut out honestly. I am tired of every mcu movie having to reference or bring in bits from the mcu like we get it, it's in the same universe just please focus on the characters and story and not on past events. I can't say it blew me away. It kind of ruins the fun of Spider-Man when instead of discovering the joy of his own powers, he’s just playing with his new toys. You want to see Pete struggle with his powers which ok he kinda does as he is not big on heights but he gets there but honestly, you have to have 5/10 mins screen time of him finding out his abilities you know but as Marvel said "WE AINT GETTING INTO HIS ORIGINS ITS BEEN DONE TO DEATH" Well Marvel I have to say you are lazy bastards. Batman's origins have been done to death and look it still happening, don't get lazy you rich wankers. God damn it.

I feel like a alien. Everyone has been like "IT WAS AMAZING" I have been like "It was good....just good....It has problems but it's just good nothing more." and then I have people yelling at me like "your a fucking idiot dc fanboy for disliking this film! ITS MORE THAN JUST GOOD IT'S AMAZING...NO SPECTACULAR!" I am here face-palming like "Liking DC has nothing to do with it! It's a good film take my compliment but it's no where near SPECTACULAR OR AMAZING!".... You know a lot in this spiderman film felt new and original like the characters maybe they took inspiration from newest spidey comics (which I have not read) maybe they did things just original. I am not sure but when it comes to spiderman I know what he should be like and characters around him are like.

I feel Civil War showed off Spiderman more and better in the short time he was there than the full 2 hour solo film he has.

One thing i have not touched on is the soundtrack, how was it? Pretty meh Ramones were in it twice the Marvel intro with a short Spider-Man orchestra cover was nice but i wanted it to be more fuller if that makes sense so lyrics and bit longer and more instruments. It's not anywhere near Guardians, Baby Driver nor Wonder Womans levels of epic soundtracks in movies at the moment for 2017.

I am quite convinced he does not have any powers to be honest why? He is only using them in a suit. Maybe wall crawling he has and he has strength but not to the super strength calibre that he famously has. No spider sense, his webs are made by him of course but thats nothing new but again he is only supposed to use the powers when under concealed identity so no one knows its him but you know it's common for him to not have a superhero suit and be climbing up a wall or two before he has a suit.

MCU fans and critcs love it and have no faults with it where as I have faults with it and the fact not one positive review from a critic has picked up on his no spider sense is really disturbing it must means comics have now fully transcended the "geeks only" wave to pop culture. If you have read or followed a spiderman cartoon or comic you will fully know that his signature abilities are not featured in this film well besides the webs but still. Only time he shows his powers is when he is in a suit. Now yes his homemade suit is obviously not the Stark material so it must be him actually wall crawling and not using some stark tech on his gloves and boots. He picked up a bunch of rubble so he must be strong somewhat. People said to me when I said: he has no spider sense. That "He don't need it he has Karen" KAREN IS NOT IN HIS HOME MADE SUIT AND HE HAS NO SPIDER SENSE REGARDLESS OF THE STARK OR HIS OWN COSTUME AS SHOWN IN THE FUCKING FILM!
Marvel said "we wont include spider man origins or uncle Ben because everyone knows the story so it be a waste of time to do it again".

Marvel people  and well I trusted you to handle a spiderman film but look at it, it's making you look weak and incompetent. Jesus so much wrong with the movie, HOW DO PEOPLE NOT SEE THE PROBLEMS I SEE? IT SPINS ME OUT! I am here as ever going "did I watch a different film". Critics and some friends who seen it say its amazing. Theres good, bad and ok super hero films and homecoming is in the ok category. Best superhero film this year so far is Wonder Woman i would say at the moment.

I just read this quote from the director of homecoming on why no spider sense - "I feel like we have seen a lot of Spider-Sense in the previous films,” he said, “so we didn’t really lean into that as hard as they have in the previous films. But I do think it is a really interesting thing to explore.” Honestly saying that shit is more stupid than anything on the planet. He felt we seen the power too many times but is an interest to explore? That makes no sense. Of course we have seen it a lot, why? IT'S PART OF SPIDER MANS POWERS FOR FUCK SAKE! Jesus Christ how stupid can you get this director is gonna be blacklisted if I hear any other dumb comments from him from the film. Jesus more I look into the film the more a mess it looks WHY do this film if its going to be this messy did they purposely rush it? The cut scenes from the film were not supposed to be in the movie is what Jon also said. Jesus Christ Jon Watt sounds like a fucking genius doesn't he?

God damn Spiderman homecoming is winding me up lol. Also it would have been nice to see him swinging through the city at the end of the film with a monologue going on.
I think i live in a different world, i enjoyed Bat V Supes and Suicide Squad yet critics hated them and critics love Spidey: Homecoming and i thought it was half of what they say.

I seen amazing spiderman in cinema once and I seen amazing spiderman 2 in cinema three times....yes the film has problems but I liked it a lot more than amazing spiderman. I seen Spiderman Homecoming twice in cinema also.

Do they need to have another go at Spidey? YES. Will they? Most likely not now until end of MCU. Best Spiderman film? No, I will put it by Tobey Trilogy though but not first place.

Spiderman: Homecoming - 6/10

To rank all the spidey films my order would be = SM 1, SM 2, TASM 2, SM3, SM H, TASM.

Thanks for reading and visiting my blog, can not thank you enough.

Do you agree with me? Do you disagree? Got something to say? Comment and let me know.

Maybe you can point out or debunk things more about the movie?

1 like and 1 comment can save Spidey from being ruined by film studios!

The 10 Best Guardians Of The Galaxy Tracks

What's up metallic nation? Hope you are well!

I went to the midnight release showing of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Thursday night 27th April and it is pretty amazing, a solid 8 out of 10 from me. Had a lot to live up to some of it was a bit out of place or all over the place or rushed in ways but it was funny and highly enjoyable.

To celebrate one of the most anticipated blockbuster movies this year in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, i have decided to look over the first and second film's soundtracks and list the 10 best!

CLICK TO BOOK TICKETS!

Now Tyler Bates who composes the original soundtrack music on both Guardians does a fantastic job but i am not going to be listing his 10 best from Guardians just the 10 best from the mix tapes.

I will add Vol 2 is relatively new to when this list is released so the tracks off vol 2 will need more time to grow into liking more so following seeing the film and this list will contain links to the song's and facts about the film or songs!

Altogether besides original soundtrack the songs used is 26 so let's get down and pick the best 10 so let's tuck in.

This one the team gears up for battle and it's so suiting and a great punk track to kick the list off with a ch ch ch ch cherry BOMB! "Cherry Bomb" is a 1976 punk-influenced hard rock single by the all-girl band The Runaways from their self-titled debut album. It is regarded by many as the band's signature song. "Cherry Bomb" was also ranked 52nd on VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.  It reached #1 on the Japanese chart and #106 on the U.S chart.

The first song from Vol 2 to appear in this list is from the amazing Fleetood Mac! Yes they are in vol 2 with their hit the chain which is a wicked song, really catchy and one to bop your head too and rock out to half way through and one easily recognisable for it is used a lot in Formula 1 shows. "The Chain" is a song by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on their best-selling album Rumours. It is the only song from the album credited to all five members (Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood); "The Chain" was created from combinations of several previously rejected materials, including solo work by Buckingham, Nicks and Christine McVie. It was assembled, often manually by splicing tapes with a razor blade, at the Record Plant in Sausalito, California, with hired engineers Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut. The BBC's Formula One coverage used the ending bass line as a theme tune from 1978 until the BBC's loss of TV rights to ITV Sport in 1997, thus making the song highly recognisable in the United Kingdom. On 29 March 2009 the song re-entered the UK Chart at #94 through downloads, following confirmation from the BBC that it would be reintroduced, the BBC having regained broadcasting rights from ITV. On 20 March 2011, "The Chain" peaked higher at #81 in the UK chart following a campaign on Facebook to try to get the song to number 1 for the start of the 2011 Formula One season. By November 2014, the song had been certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry based on download sales alone, making it one of Fleetwood Mac's most successful songs in the UK.

A really lovely song here and a nice moment of peace as Gamora and Star lord take a break and dance out their sexual chemistry, great scene between the two in volume 1 and it's such a great song to boot. One that has stuck in my mind since my first GOTG 1 showing. "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" is a single written and performed by blues guitarist Elvin Bishop. It appeared on his 1975 album Struttin' My Stuff and was released as a single the following year. Bishop does not sing lead vocals on the track; feeling that his gravelly voice wouldn't do the song justice, he invited vocalist Mickey Thomas, who was a background singer in his band at the time, to sing it. The song peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in May 1976. The song went on to become a gold record.

A classic many knew of before GOTG 1 but it's so peaceful and relaxing and really catchy seriously if you don't like Pina Colada's you will definitely be singing this one love them or hate them haha. "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" is a song written and recorded by British-born American singer Rupert Holmes for his album Partners in Crime. As the lead single for the album, the pop song was recommended by Billboard for radio broadcasters on September 29, 1979, then added to prominent US radio playlists in October–November. Rising in popularity, the song peaked at the end of December to become the last US number one song of the 1970s. The song speaks, in three verses and three choruses, of a man who is bored with his current relationship because it has become routine and he desires some variety. One night, he reads the personal advertisements in the newspaper and spots an ad that catches his attention: a woman who is seeking a man who, among other little things, must like piña coladas. Intrigued, he takes out an ad in reply and arranges to meet the woman "at a bar called O'Malley's", only to find upon the meeting that the woman is actually his current partner. The song ends on an upbeat note, showing that the two lovers realised they have more in common than they had suspected, and that they do not have to look any further than each other for what they seek in a relationship.

A scene no one can forget in GOTG 1 with Baby Groot dancing and going still when Drax looks in his direction. This like the one above is a classic tune and many heard before the film but it's so good and used in such a great fun cute way with Groot in the end of the first volume. "I Want You Back" is a 1969 song by the Jackson 5 which became a number-one hit for the band and the Motown label in early 1970.  "I Want You Back" was ranked 121st on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Groot wanted to say hi or rather I am Groot....
Another new one from volume 2 and such a catchy one with it's chorus. I have never heard it prior to volume 2 but i wish i had, great song. I can't get the chorus out of my head though.....not a bad thing but it's just one i keep singing over and over lol. Silver was an American 1970s country rock band, best known for their 1976 pop hit "Wham Bam," written by country songwriter Rick Giles. It is ranked as the 70th biggest hit of 1976.

Now sadly i don't remember this playing in volume 2 movie but it was prominently played during all the commercials for guardians vol 2 and it's such a great catchy classic tune. "Fox on the Run" is a song by the British band Sweet, first recorded in 1974. It was Sweet's first single that was written by the band, rather than producers Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, and was their 14th single overall. The lyrics of the song are about groupies;"fox" being slang for an attractive woman.

Another iconic classic tune one which always gets me singing and dancing in a happy manner. Heard this song first when i was a child and for this to be in GOTG Vol 2 is just amazing! Hell of a way to kick off volume 2 with this happy catchy classic! "Mr. Blue Sky" is a song by British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), featured on the band's seventh studio album Out of the Blue (1977). Written and produced by frontman Jeff Lynne, the song forms the fourth and final track of the "Concerto for a Rainy Day" suite, on side three of the original double album. "Mr. Blue Sky" was the second single to be taken from Out of the Blue, peaking at number 6 in the UK Singles Chart and number 35 in the United States. The song was played as a wake-up call to astronaut Christopher Ferguson on Day 3 of STS-135, the final mission of Space Shuttle Atlantis.

The intro song for volume 1 such a fun memorable scene especially when Star Lord pick up the little dinosaur like creature and uses it as a microphone. Really catchy fun song, i have listened to it loads since my first showing of vol 1. "Come and Get Your Love" is a 1974 hit single by the Native American rock band Redbone. The song was written by band member Lolly Vegas and produced by Lolly and his brother Pat Vegas, who was also a band member. It was originally featured on Redbone's 1973 album, Wovoka; later the song appeared on many "greatest hits" albums released by the band, as well as on numerous compilation albums of the 1970s. The song peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in April 1974. It spent 18 weeks in the Top 40 and landed as the 4th most popular song on the Hot 100 for 1974. The single was certified gold by the RIAA on April 22, 1974, which indicates that it had sold over half a million copies in the United States. The song is Redbone's highest charting single and one of two Top 40 hits by the band (an earlier recording, "The Witch Queen of New Orleans", peaked at number 21 in 1972).

Could there be any other number one? This is the one which started it all. Appearing in all the trailers and getting most publicity and air time during the films release and what not. A instant classic one which has been listened to countless time and is a hard one to get out of your head as it's so catchy. Hooked on a Feeling" is a 1968 pop song written by Mark James and originally performed by B. J. Thomas. Thomas's version featured the sound of the electric sitar, and reached number five in 1969 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Blue Swede version made singer Björn Skifs' "Ooga- Ooga- Ooga- Chacka" intro well known (and famous in Sweden at the time), however that intro was originally introduced by British musician Jonathan King in 1971.

List over, let's dance!
MOVIE FACT TIME:
After years of being labeled as "potential flop," Marvel Studio’s Guardians of the Galaxy emerged as the biggest Hollywood phenomenon of 2014 when it was released. ADAM SANDLER AND JIM CARREY WERE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE OF ROCKET! Gary Oldman, Viggo Mortensen, Christoph Waltz, Christopher Plummer, Max von Sydow, and Liam Neeson were considered for the role of Ego. Dave Bautista's Drax makeup took only 90 minutes to apply, down from four hours for the first film. However, he would have to sit in a sauna at the end of the day to get the makeup off.

That's it my guardians, please comment, like etc. Suggest other lists for me to cover.

Hope you liked this list.

That's all from me so please go out and go guard the galaxy ;)
