Joker Folie A Deux Review

The World Is A Stage.
Joker folie a duex aka Joker: Madness For Two, it really should have been titled "
Joker 2: The Jokes On You".

5 years ago we were gifted the highest grossing R rated film in cinema history which was based upon a DC Comics character with a brand-new spin on things but also a film documenting mental health and the struggles of one with such disorders. It was a social study, a character study. It's absolutely amazing and gripping and ended with a smile.

Although we were told "Arthur is not THE JOKER" he is the predecessor, a mentally sick man who has a bad day and things get tipped on their head and the man who's seen as a joke gets dubbed live on TV as a JOKER so he takes it upon himself with pride to embrace and show to the world all the corruption and wrong doings of the world and the abuse that has rotten his mind and the mental conditions he suffers including his inappropriate timed infectious laughs. Keep in mind we were told he's not the one who's going to be the clown prince of crime, we were set up with the fact of there's a guy out there in Gotham who has inadvertently inspired someone to take the mantle up in the future and be the worst thing to happen to Gotham.

Yes Arthur Fleck story is very similar to Jack Napier's aka The Real DC Joker but with changes, this too is the same for one Harleen Quinsel. Oops, sorry, she's just Lee Quinsel in this. This film is taken from Arthur's mind as we switch in-between realities of him being a prisoner, him facing trial and finding love and then eventually coming out and admitting to his wrong doings and telling people he's not The Joker, and they shouldn't idolize him, he's not the symbol that the manic mob is seeking out, which does deter some of his fans. Although he still has a small loyal following, but I'm sure after this film ends they will disperse and wait until THE REAL JOKER appears.

Todd Phillips captured gold in the first story and logically thinking you could argue this film was made as a statement to fans of Arthur and the first Joker as a deterrent to say "Don't idolize this person. Don't be like this person. What you may relate to in that film I will make sure to tell you in the sequel how that's terrible and something you should not be doing and looking up to" and I will applaud him for that. I have questions about the ending, but I'm not sure if we will ever get answers.

Music, acting and cinematography is brilliant. The haunting score of the first does appear at times, but the new musical parts take over, and I feel personally that they should have mapped the musical elements out a lot better. I would have personally taken the direction differently.

The court scenes with The Joker were a highlight. Any scenes Arthur embraces that Joker stood out best to me. It did at times slow down a lot, and I was falling asleep, but I can also blame it on a late night and early morning I had.

Overall, Joker 2 is a whopping disappointment. It's not as bad as I had heard, but it's also not anywhere near as good as the first one. Go into it expecting it's bad, and you'll either hate it some more or you'll see the same as me.
Thanks for reading!

Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom (DCEU)

I have finally seen THE LAST DCEU film Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom and here are my thoughts but first, I will tell you a lil bit about this film. Black Manta seeks revenge on Aquaman for his father’s death. Wielding the Black Trident’s power, he becomes a formidable foe. To defend Atlantis, Aquaman forges an alliance with his imprisoned brother. They must protect the kingdom. So it's a buddy cop superhero type movie at best, but its humour is its weakest point.

The "forced" humour in Aquaman 2 is just urgh. It's not an MCU movie it shouldn't have that stuff. It's not funny and not needed. I'd rather something actually funny than a cheesy cringey line. "Oh Aquaman you took your brother's throne and his wife? Oh, shame. Shame on you" - Black Manta. "Brother, you're an asshole. A super tight one. Like really tight." - Aquaman. The part about Orm being taught how to run fast like Arthur.

There are parts I liked about this film, but the "comedy" I've not laughed at. I've laughed at how bad it is and how cringe the lines are, but other than that it's embarrassing and such a step-down from the first.

James Wan has made an incredible world for Aquaman on screen. The visuals, world building and creature design is incredible. The action scenes were great.

I think all the actors involved did a great job, regardless of the issues on and off-screen. The Amber Heard issue and then the Warner Bros and DCEU screw-ups have torn the promising Billion dollar DC film sequel into a shadow of its former self.

The film does go back to Arthur Currys character from the first film, and also I thought the world knew about Atlantis after Aquaman and justice league but oh well. Its reveal to the world at the end is like Wakanda reveal in MCU. Stupidest post credits scene ever.

So AQUAMAN 2 is a weak sequel and may aswell be a fish out of water with its mess that it was to make and then to have the final product shown. It's unfortunate for how this turned out after the first was so good.

Top 10 Superhero Animated Shows

Superheroes are everywhere, and who has not ever dreamt or wanted to become one?
So come with me and get your capes on and mask's down, as it is time to fly around and list my top 10 fave Superhero Animated shows!
10: Ben 10
"Ben 10" is an animated television series created by the group "Man of Action" and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The original series premiered in 2005, and since then, the franchise has expanded with various sequels and spin-offs. The "Ben 10" franchise has evolved over the years, with multiple sequels and spin-offs, including "Ben 10: Alien Force," "Ben 10: Ultimate Alien," "Ben 10: Omniverse," and "Ben 10 (2016)." Ben 10 has had some tv movies/crossovers and live action movies too! The series explores themes of heroism, responsibility, and the consequences of wielding great power. Ben's journey involves not only battling villains, but also learning to use the Omnitrix responsibly. "Ben 10" has resonated with audiences for its engaging storytelling, diverse set of characters, and the imaginative concept of a young hero with the ability to transform into powerful aliens. The franchise's continued success reflects its lasting appeal to viewers of all ages.

9: Invincible
The most recent series on my list will be the more adult themed superhero show Invincible. "Invincible" is an animated superhero television series based on the comic book of the same name by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker. The show was produced by Simon Racioppa for Amazon Prime Video and premiered in 2021. "Invincible" addresses mature themes, including morality, identity, and the consequences of power. The series delves into darker and more complex aspects of superhero storytelling. "Invincible" stands out for its gripping narrative, well-developed characters, and a willingness to explore the darker aspects of superhero lore. It has been praised for its mature and nuanced approach to the genre, making it a notable addition to the superhero television landscape.

8: Powerpuff Girls
When I was a child other boys would usually look at you weirdly if you watched "a girly" show like Powerpuff Girls, however it was actually excellent and IF those people who looked down on the show bothered to watch an episode they would get a lot more out of it than what they thought. "The Powerpuff Girls" is an animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken. The show premiered on Cartoon Network in 1998 and quickly became a popular and iconic animated series. Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup help inspire a generation of children with their strong, independent female characters. "The Powerpuff Girls" is celebrated for its humour, unique characters, and its positive representation of strong female protagonists. It remains a cultural touchstone in the world of animated television and has retained its popularity over the years.

7: Teen Titans
T-E-EN T-I-T-ANS TEEN TITANS LETS GO! The show that made me love the young group of superheroes is the Cartoon Network first run of the show. Mature story line and good laughs and memorable moments made this show so good and really put TEEN TITANS ON THE MAP! "Teen Titans" is an animated television series that premiered on Cartoon Network in 2003 and ran for five seasons until 2006. The show was created by Glen Murakami and Sam Register, and it is based on the DC Comics superhero team, the Teen Titans. The series features a memorable soundtrack, including the opening theme "Teen Titans Theme" performed by Puffy AmiYumi. While "Teen Titans" concluded its original run in 2006, it has remained popular through reruns, home media releases, and streaming services. The series is praised for its engaging storytelling, well-developed characters, and unique approach to animated superhero content.

6: X-Men Animated
Without this show, I probably would not have known or heard or cared about the X-men. Awesome metal theme song that was so catchy with its screeching guitar. Memorable characters and moments. The show introduced me to Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops, Jubilee, Magneto, Gambit, Cable, Sentinels, Mutants, Professor X, Jean Gray and so many more! "X-Men: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1997. The show is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, the X-Men, and it became one of the most beloved and influential animated adaptations of the X-Men franchise. The iconic and memorable opening theme, composed by Ron Wasserman, is one of the most recognized and beloved theme songs in animated television. The show's success led to the creation of various X-Men merchandise, including action figures, comic book adaptations, and video games. "X-Men: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its faithful adaptation of the X-Men comics, its engaging storytelling, and its contribution to the cultural prominence of superhero animation in the 1990s.

5: Superman animated
"Superman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that aired from 1996 to 2000. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series is part of the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) and serves as a companion to "Batman: The Animated Series." and also the next entry on my list. Tim Daly provides the voice for Superman/Clark Kent, Dana Delany voices Lois Lane, and Clancy Brown voices Lex Luthor. The strong voice cast contributes to the series' quality. The show has the same distinctive look and feel as JLU and Batman Animated Series. The series introduces new characters, including the sympathetic villain Mercy Graves and the superhero Steel (John Henry Irons). The musical score by composer Shirley Walker adds to the epic and emotional tone of the series. "Superman: The Animated Series" is considered a successful and well-received adaptation of the Superman character. It contributed to the enduring popularity of animated superhero shows in the late 20th century.
The series has continued to be appreciated by fans for its faithful representation of Superman, its engaging storytelling, and its contributions to the broader DC Animated Universe.

4: Justice League
Not to be confused with it's sequel JL Unlimited, The series explores the dynamics within the Justice League as these iconic heroes come together to face powerful threats that no single hero could handle alone. The series features a notable voice cast, with Kevin Conroy as Batman, George Newbern as Superman, and Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, among others. Compared to previous animated adaptations, "Justice League" adopts a darker and more mature tone, reflecting the tone of DC Comics in the early 2000s. "Justice League" is considered a landmark animated series that brought together DC's most iconic superheroes. It paved the way for the expansion of the DC Animated Universe with the sequel series "Justice League Unlimited."  After two seasons, the series was rebranded as Justice League Unlimited, a successor series which aired for three seasons. It is the first series in the DC Animated Universe to fully use digital ink and paint, also the first to be produced in widescreen starting in Season 2.

3: Batman Beyond
I was a big fan of this growing up, and I need to rewatch it Terry was such a breath of fresh air to Batman and I need more badly of this show or a live action film or something more to continue or reboot it please. "Batman Beyond" is an animated television series that aired from 1999 to 2001, and it serves as a continuation of the Batman animated series franchise. Created by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett, "Batman Beyond" explores a futuristic Gotham City and introduces a new character taking on the mantle of Batman. The series is set in a future Gotham City, approximately 40 years after the events of "Batman: The Animated Series." Technology has advanced, and the original Batman, Bruce Wayne, is now an elderly man. "Batman Beyond" introduces new villains alongside some familiar faces from Batman's rogues' gallery. The series explores the impact of futuristic technology on crime and vigilantism. Will Friedle voices Terry McGinnis/Batman, and Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The continuity in voice casting helps bridge the connection to the previous animated series. "Batman Beyond" received acclaim for its fresh approach to the Batman mythology, blending noir aesthetics with a futuristic setting. The series has maintained its popularity over the years and is considered a standout in the realm of animated superhero storytelling. Happy 25 Years To Batman Beyond!

2: Spider-Man (90s animated series)
Growing up, I was a big fan of Spider-man and the number 1 spot on my list. It's a shame we never had more of this amazing show. The "Spider-Man" animated series from the 1990s is a classic-animated television show based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It originally aired from 1994 to 1998 and is widely regarded as one of the most beloved and iconic adaptations of Spider-Man in animated form. Unlike some animated series of its time, "Spider-Man" embraced long-form storytelling, with overarching plot lines that extended over multiple episodes. This allowed for more in-depth exploration of characters and story arcs. The series had crossovers with other Marvel characters and storylines, introducing viewers to characters like the X-Men, Iron Man, and The Fantastic Four. The series is well-known for its catchy theme song, composed by Joe Perry of Aerosmith. The theme song is often considered one of the most recognizable and beloved animated series themes. "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" is celebrated for its engaging storytelling, memorable characters, and its ability to capture the essence of Spider-Man's comic book adventures. It remains a nostalgic favourite for fans of both Spider-Man and animated superhero television.

1: Batman The Animated Adventures
OK growing up to no surprises I loved and binged these top 3 but the most I watched and had action figures of was from Batman. "Batman: The Animated Series" is an animated television series that originally aired from 1992 to 1995. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest animated series and one of the best adaptations of the Batman character. Created by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski, the series is known for its unique visual style, mature storytelling, and iconic voice cast. The series is renowned for its distinctive Art Deco-inspired animation and design, giving Gotham City a timeless and atmospheric look. We had all of Batman's rouge gallery appear, but also we had a brand-new star arrive and breakout from the series one we all know and love named Harley Quinn. This show had a star-studded cast, the iconic Kevin Conroy, the legendary Mark Hamil and Arleen Sorkin. The show won many emmy's. Shirley Walker provided the Danny Elfman inspired soundtrack from the Batman 1989 film. The influence of "Batman: The Animated Series" extends beyond its initial run, with its legacy evident in subsequent Batman adaptations, animated series, and the broader landscape of superhero storytelling. It remains a beloved and influential cornerstone of animated television.

Blue Beetle - Extraterrestrial Blast! (FILM REVIEW)

The ROAD to the DCU (dc's new cinematic universe) STARTS HERE!!!!

So If you are not aware Blue Beetle is the first movie in the long awaited Gunn lead era of Warner Bro's DC universe of cinematic films. Xolo Mariduena stars in the leading role as Jaime Reyes and this is directed by Angel Manuel Soto. Jaime Reyes suddenly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab. When the Scarab chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he's bestowed with an incredible suit of armour that's capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.

I thought BB was bloody brilliant, I want more, and I also want to see it again!

Jaíme played by Xolo was absolutely incredible just as I imagined. He was perfectly cast. This film is a great start to the new DC universe of films. The Uncle and Nana were so funny. The villains were a bit meh, but I did like Carapax once we got into his story he was more interesting than the Evil CEO Kord lady.

The fighting scenes were awesome! Music and lighting was so cool and synth-wavey and for me that's always loved. Heart, humour and inspiring superhero film.

There's two after credits and the first is so interesting yet the second is uh weird to say the least, and you don't have to stay for that unless you want to show your love or want to see some more Latino representation. The Latino representations in this film I felt were on point and great to see for a change.

8.5/10

A good time no energy drinks needed.

I was hooked all through the film and I very much enjoyed.

Please go see this film and do not sleep on it!

The Flash Movie - Great Speedforce Review

The Flash is here and so is my review! Just like Barry Allen attending work this review comes later than originally scheduled haha. When his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry Allen becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. In order to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The Flash and the Multiverse of madness is a heartfelt film with a celebration of all DC. The Cgi is meh at the best of times especially the opening. Most of the cgi can be explained via some sort of grippy perspective the flash has on time when time travelling and the director has also backed this up.

The final villain wasn't much and soon as they are revealed, it's pretty much goodbye to them which is a shame as I would have liked a few more quick run in's with the villain. Keaton always had me smiling. Sasha's Supergirl was fantastic, please keep her around the dcu. Other cameos were really cool. The ending made me go wtf! Great film if you ask me, I enjoyed it and I would consider myself a big Flash fan, so maybe it's a sort of biased opinion, but honestly I would happily go see this again.
7/10
Thanks for reading, sorry this took longer than planned to get posted.
I have been busy adjusting to life changes having two jobs now haha.

My DREAM DCEU MOVIE 10 YEAR PLAN!

OK so here's my fan made 10 year DCEU plan and this post was written before James Gunn scrapped a lot of content and I have made some adjustments since the news broke, and I have expanded it to 10 years instead of my original plan of 5 years. Please enjoy! 😁

DCEU Canon:
Man of steel, suicide squad, batman vs superman, wonder woman, the suicide squad, Aquaman, birds of prey, snyder cut justice league, shazam, Wonder woman 1984, Black Adam
So my listings for the next 10 years if I was in charge would be:

Man Of Steel 2: Metallo
Metallo with Lex Luthor to face off against Superman and after creds to have Superman come to Shazam's aid against Black Adam and this scene appears in SHAZAM 3. After credits 2: Wonder Woman is with Cyborg and Batman talking about plans for a station to watch over the world.

Shazam: Fury of the gods
As planned BUT End credits will be Black Adam meeting SHAZAM.

Aquaman 2.
As planned BUT End credits to be Barry and Arthur hanging out when suddenly things start to change around Barry (EZRA) who also changes his face to reveal Grant Gustin (cw theme plays).

The Flash: Fastest Man Alive
Solo film introducing Barry Allen origins, and he fights a few of his rogues cap cold, heatwave along with a run in with Boomerang from the bank scene in suicide squad. (after creds to introduce Anthony Starr as Reverse Flash Eobard Thawne) Recast Ezra with Grant Gustin or Hughie from The Boys actor.

Constantine: City Of Darkness
Matt Ryan as Constantine. Meet John Constantine an occult detective for hire from Liverpool, Engalnd. This boozy geezer always seems to find himself in trouble or around people or rather demons who are up to no good. He comes to terms with his powers in the film and accepts who he is and what he is capable of after a tragic event occurs in which he was unable to save the life of a little girl. While on the hunt for a powerful demon he meets a formidable foe who quickly becomes an ally to John in Swamp-Thing. John also befriends the rhyming demon Etrigan and the two are forced to take down the powerful demon and to save the city and all the lives within it.  (after credits to include 2. A bar scene with John and Etrigan and introduce Zatana. Second after credits to show the house of mystery.)

Bluebeetle movie.
As planned BUT end credits to show Cyborg messaging him asking if he'd like to join the League.

Batman & Robin: Deathstroke
Batman (Affleck) struggles with the wear and tear of being Batman catching up to him and Alfred suggests maybe passing on the mantle because he doesn't want to see his master in any more pain and the fact for years Batman carried so much pain and Vengeance within him. However, since forming the justice league he notes Bruce has had the bright spark back like the days of old when he mentored a young Tim Drake. Bruce is in a rocky relationship with Jessica Grayson (sister of Dick Grayson of the flying Graysons) and Bruce is in public promoting his playboy self to the public eye to promote his companies new renewable energy source, and he's wrestling with himself to tell his GF the reason why he goes missing at night and sleeps during the day. The two have had happy times, but she blames him for missing parties and family gatherings due to "work commitments". This public outing with Bruce and Jessica is crucial as Jessica is going to introduce her family to Bruce for the first time. The Graysons are a family acrobat stunt team. The family do flips and tricks via parkour ways by hand and also do tricks in bikes and jumps and in cars. Ra's Al Ghoul and his gang interrupt the party try to steal the device all while sabotaging the stunt bikes and cars. Dick Grayson catches some ninjas messing with bikes and takes them down, but he doesn't realise It's too late as his family are about to crash and burn. Stephen Amell plays Dick Grayson. He helps Batman take down Ra's and him and Bruce have a rocky relationship and Dick disobeys Batman and resents his teachings and the two come to blows whilst being tricked and trapped in a shipping yard to face Lex Luthors strong arm aka Deathstroke and Batman and Deathstroke have an intense fight as an angry resentful Robin leaves Bruce to his own. Deathstroke starts getting an upper hand, but Robin joins back and the two team up and take down Deathstroke. The two seem to be on good terms, but Dick says he appreciates the help and guidance and mentorship Bruce gave him and for giving Dick a home after his families passing BUT Dick wishes to return to his home and get himself established as a young independent man and crime fighter. Robin returns home and months pass as Batman calls to check in with Dick regarding life and asks him to help solve a case with a riddle and dick reveals to Bruce that Nygma is in Bloodhaven and to not worry because Nightwing is on the case. Dick suits up as Nightwing and movie ends after creds would be 2, First have lex freeing and talking to leto's Joker about a team up. Second show a man screaming crying in the shadows and crawls out only to be dragged back into the shadows with an unnerving growl and piercing yellow serpent like eyes pierce out of the shadows. Killer Croc is coming.

So this would be my plan for the next decade!
What do you think?
Is it good or bad? Would you see these films?
Thanks for reading!
Stay Shiny!

Random Ramblin's 47 - Booking The DCEU

I watched Gunn's Suicide Squad recently and here are some thoughts and how I would book DCEU.

Warner bros should use Harley and Waller in the DCEU to set more films up in the DCEU.

Waller for Skwad and potential Batman films and Harley for Batman and Harley team up films.

In the DCEU the following know who Batman is and they are Waller, Lex, Deathstroke (via snyder cut ending) and I am sure the Joker knows too.

WB needs to just cool down and make sure they USE Cavill right and just to be sure to lock their actors in set contracts like MCU has and keep Affleck for a little while longer like please. Also they need to not go against the actors and not stress them out either in putting too much onto them.

So much potential WB please USE IT!!!!!!

Zack Snyder's Justice League Film Review

Snyder Cut Justice League is absolutely amazing!
Action, storytelling, plot, characters, acting, cgi, the pacing. I loved every minute of it and I so wish there was more now! There's no after credits just Epilogue that covers so much!

Josstice League has some great moments still but Snyders version is much better. If I could mix both versions I think that would be a 10/10 film and a master piece for sure.
*****POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! *****

The flash race Superman after credit of Joss's was so good and fun and I love that and to not have it in Snyders version was disappointing. Also the John Williams rehash superman score from Josstice league is missing and so is every body knows and come together besides that music wise it's wicked. This Arthur Curry was better more in line with his solo film. Snyder set up nicely for future Wonder Woman story aswell as Flash, Batman, Justice League 2, a certain Martian story and a possible injustice alternate film with the Knightmare scenes. Of course there's jokes or scenes in Joss's which worked and it's a shame to not have them.

Both films are very much Cyborg focused and omg Ray Fisher what a performance and his Cyborg is brilliant in Snyder Cut. Henry Cavill still giving us the best superman. I think there was just a bit too much Black Suit Superman like we didn't need to have all that and at least we should have had another scene in where he explained the suit and gathered up his powers to full potential again and then shown off the classic suit like especially in the end when Clark is on the street and he shreds his shirt and to not see the Red S was just weird because time had passed by months at that point so the suit was not needed to be black.

I think Leto gave a better performance in Suicide Squad than in Snyder cut but he still had great lines and a decent performance just more unhinged would have worked better and also the laugh was just not good enough. Deathstroke well omg we need to see him against batman. Darkseid well need to see more omg scary and so intimidating it's well in line with all his appearances. Steppenwolf was better he looked and sounded more menacing and ALIEN.

Some are boycotting this and speaking ill of the film because of Amber Heard and I thought she was good and it's just silly to boycott or down rate it because she's in this film, this was filmed years ago mostly, so it seems daft to say you hate it over her as she's not even the main character or anything but ah well picky tricky people are out there.

Overall I think I'd give this film a 9/10! It blew me away it was what I been waiting to see for years! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse #SnyderCut #JusticeLeague

Joker Review - Ha-Ha-Hawesome!

So after all the praise and hype was it worth it and did it deserve it? YES!
Does Joaquin Make a good Joker? YES!
So Joker is a stand alone Dc film based on well looky here, it's about the Joker who is arguably the most famous villain of all time.

Joker is about a man named, Arthur Fleck who has some problems and the film is entirely based on his perspective and I swear down there is not a single scene without him in.

Arthur is trying to get by in life but society doesn't like him, people look down on him and mock him and beat him up when all he needs is care and support. He takes several medicinal products and has a journal to keep him on track but what happens when society gets too much and when medical business's shut down and when truths come out and friends and family aren't really there for Arthur? Well you guessed it, he put's on a happy face because Arthur is then effectively dead and here we have.....JOKER!

Joaquin gives an outstanding performance, his laughs are painful and unsettling for a lot of the time it's only when he laughs as Joker is where it's not unsettling. His laughs genuinely look like they are hurting him and he laughs at non funny things when everyone else laughs at the funny parts.

Arthur's mood and the tone and lighting is dull, moody, depressing and it gets darker and darker until the Joker arrives. Anytime he is in clown gear is when the films lighting has colour but he and we don't fully embrace the beautiful stunning colours of the world until Arthur is gone and Joker is out into the world.

The original score is very haunting and makes you feel uneasy by way of heavy slow bassy stringed instruments such as the violin and bass/cello. The supporting cast in the film were all so good.

The story was great there was fan theories going around about this film and the film does confirm some of these theories BUT soon as it does, it squashes them instantly. The story and script is so good.

The licensed soundtrack is so upbeat and lovely and iconic that it completely changes the world as the world completely changes the tone of the music.

When Joker emerges I had a big smile on my face. This film does make you feel for Arthur and makes you root him on. I know he's a loony and a bad guy but he would have been okay if things in the world had gone better if he had support and continued good treatment. He had a bad day and it's all brought him to a breaking point which is so relatable and it's so jarring to realise that one bad day could drive a man to lunacy.

Joker is a violent, dark, epic, realistic take on the iconic villain, one I hope we get more of in the future. Joaquin please do a sequel.

This film is gonna win awards I'm telling you. All the hype and praise is so spot on and i cannot name anything bad or wrong with this film!

I've seen it twice now in cinemas and i highly recommend watching it!

Fave quotes: "My life is nothing but a comedy."
"Comedy is subjective, Murray. Isn’t that what they say? All of you, the system that knows so much, you decide what’s right or wrong. The same way that you decide what’s funny or not."

"Everybody is awful these days. It’s enough to make anyone crazy."
"Nobody’s civil anymore! Nobody thinks what it’s like to be the other guy."

"All i have are negative thoughts."
"Is it me or is it getting crazier out there?"

“I just hope my death makes more cents than my life.”
“The worst part of having a mental illness is people expect you to behave as if you don’t.”
"You get what you f**king deserve!"

Joker
10/10
It'll put a smile on your face!
hahahahaha!!!!!

Superman, The Man Of Steel, Kal El, The Last Son Of Krypton, Supes, The Kryptonian, Clark Kent or as one Billy Batson exclaimed Big Blue Cheese. Whatever term you use to call him, Superman is a worldwide icon. There's a lot of hero's out there today that we can relate to him in one way or another be it for his origins, his powers, his heroic's, his personality or something else he is one of if not the most popular superhero's ever created. Superman may also be just a fictional hero but he's also a highly inspiring figure to so many people of so many generations, he's inspired people not just from his comic heroics but also from his animated, movie, tv and game outings. Supes is such an instantly recognisable character just remember he's the symbol of hope.
When did I first see Superman? I think I was introduced to him via Christopher Reeve and from watching Superman movie on tv with my grandparents back when i was like 5 or 6 similarly I was introduced to Batman and Spiderman when I was the same age but what hero came first? I believe it was Spiderman but I could be wrong. If anyone is wondering if I liked Man Of Steel, BVS or Justice League or Henry Cavill as Superman the answer to all of them is YES! I also want to add I loved the Superman animated series and Justice League Unlimited.
In recent years Supes popularity has decreased somewhat with the increase in interest of Batman that has sprung up over the past decade but unlike Batman, Superman can still find a way to relate to his audience on several levels. Of course many say Supes is over powered and yes if the writers wanted him to be OP they would do it but they do not, they balance it well and they always have.

In Man Of Steel he could have killed Zod when he first met him if he chose to but Superman does not go all out in his strength or powers because Superman puts on himself mental barriers he does not want to kill anyone he was not raised a killer, he knows on Earth and with his powers that Humans are such a fragile race compared to him. The only time Superman will go all out is when he is enraged or if a particular opponent's strength calls for him to use all of his might to defeat.
Now you may think when I say that Supes holds back that possibly he held back against the likes of Doomsday hence why he was brutally killed by him but I'd argue that Superman to start held back but when he realised how strong, how brutal just how evil and uncontrollable the destroyer is he had to unleash his best to match Doomsday. Doomsday has protruding bones which can cut and pierce the skin of a Kryptonian and due to the amount of punctures and blood loss Supes suffered during their epic battle of ages Supes managed to kill Doomsday but also died due to his injuries.

If you want to see a great example of Superman going all out I highly recommend you see Superman Vs The Elite it's one of my all time favourite Superman animated films and there's a scene where Supes loses it admits to himself that he basically can't go easy on them but also he toy's with The Elite, saying how he needs to kill villains he see's it now and he must start with The Elite and he beat them one by one and he made it seem like he killed Manchester Black's friends when in reality he had his robots teleport them to The Fortress Of Solitude to be stripped of their powers and put behind bars and by doing so Superman taught everyone that you cannot solve problems by violence or killing because it is not the right way for justice and that Supes way is best for mankind. It's such an epic moment and fight honestly it's a must see for all Super fans out there.
Superman has not always been this OP god that some see him as, back in the 1930s when he was first introduced he could only leap great distances and he could run super fast and was also super strong there was none of the he can fly, he can breathe ice, he can see via x ray vision nor heat blasts from eyes he had three powers in his introduction and that was that until his powers got expanded upon in the Silver age of comics. His past and powers are always changing up a bit every decade there seems to be something new with him just because he has been around for 80 years does not mean every mystery with him has been explored and explained just yet.
Not only is Superman such an iconic character but his allies and love interest are too! Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Martha Kent, Johnathan Kent, Perry White, Lara Lang, Cat Grant, Kara Zor El, Superboy and Krypto. You surely know all of these and you will know them for starring along side Superman although some of them don't actually fly alongside Supes or fight crime with him but you get my point that these characters and their interactions in and around the world of Superman have made them stand out and as iconic as our man of steel. All of these characters have changed along with Superman through the years too.
When it comes to other superhero's or playing in teams Supes is typically the one everyone looks up to as the leader and Supes also generally takes the younger superhero's under his wing and tries to be a father figure of sorts to them and Superman can generally connect with other hero's from this world and others with ease which not many can do. Obviously the most dynamic and interesting friendship Superman shares is with The Caped Crusader himself Batman. They have many things in common and many things not in common it's what has made their friend/enemy relationship such on and off over the years.

One way to measure a hero is via his villains and Superman's are one of the best most known in pop culture. Superman's arch nemesis is Lex Luthor who unlike the alien god is only a human who is really smart which is crazy right who would have ever thought one of superman's biggest threats would be a human. Lex and Supes have not always been enemies, they have been friends also. Other enemies of Superman you will know are Doomsday, Bizarro, Metallo, Brainiac, Atomic Skull, Cyborg Superman, Darkseid, General Zod, Lobo, Mister Mxyzptlk (god i hope i spelt that right), Toyman and Grundy to name but a few. Each of Superman's rogue gallery challenges him in different ways it's what makes them all unique.
Superman has evolved time and time again over the years and he's kept on up with modern society and the cultures of the world and all this has allowed him to sustain his popularity and relevance for such a long time and it no doubt will continue to do so for 80 more years and hell even longer, perhaps he will last forever only time will tell.

It's crazy to think words like Kryptonite are quite common place in modern society and it's all thanks to DC to Action Comics to Superman!
Thank you Action Comics, Thank you DC and Thank You Superman for 80 years of iconic, influential and inspiring moments, hero's, stories, characters and hell even villains because why not give them a thank you aswell because who else puts over the hero's willingly eh? ;)

How DCEU Should Make Man Of Steel 2! Fan idea for the general plot of the sequel.

Since Lex is free let's have him antagonise Supes. Bring Metallo and Bizarro. Lex is obsessed with Supes can be the main story to why he went and created a bizarre superman and that he also wanted to take down the man of steel so acquired Kryptonite and helped make Metallo come to life.

Have the first half be Supes is back saving lives while Clark struggles getting back to the normal routine and then perhaps fails to save John Corben which is all part of a trap by Lex of course but supes won't know. John is thought to be dead members of Lexcorp take the body away supes is down sad he couldn't save someone's life and have Metallo come alive being brainwashed by Lex saying "It's his fault your like this, it's his fault your a metallic monster, it's his fault your METALLO!" which has Metallo power on snap at Lex holding Lex off the ground angry. Metallo replies to him: "Tell me where he is!" and Lex smiles and we cut to a peaceful day in the city all is well, until a train station is on the news being destroyed with people inside being trapped and killed from rubble and supes see's this and ignores it as he is down as he thinks he failed saving John's life. Louis talks Clark into going to save the people trapped in the train station as details emerge on the news it's some green robot is terrorising the city.
Superman snaps back to being a hero he's determined to stop this robot hurting others because he realises he can't always save everyone and what happened to John was not his fault and he saves those trapped uneed rubble and flies towards Metallo.  He lands near Metallo. Metallo: "So you've finally decided to show your face? Too bad you left it late, so many lives could have been spared if you wasn't so selfish!" Metallo blasts superman who dodges the blast. Superman: "You know greens not a good colour for you" Metallo: "You think so? Well come closer for a better look" Superman: "No thanks I'm good over here. So tell me, why are you causing all this senseless destruction" as superman starts to approach Metallo as the two talk. Metallo: "It's all a show, it's all for you of course, it's the only way to get your attention, for I have been looking for you" Superman: "You villains always like attention but there's a better way to get it without violence" Metallo: "Ok so please do show me, tell me what I have to do and I'll come with you quietly" Superman puts his hand on Metallo's shoulder as Metallo smiles and grabs superman tight as he can as metallo's chest plate goes down and reveals kryptonite to superman, making superman weak and in pain from Metallo's grip. The police see that superman is in trouble and are shooting at Metallo which has Metallo's guard drop and he is getting shot at pretty heavily so he releases superman and goes after the police instead which creates enough distance for superman to gain composure to lazer blast the exposes kryptonite in metallo's chest effectively blowing Metallo up. Of the explosion only metallo's head remains and he mutters to superman: "You've killed me again, you couldn't save me as a human and you couldn't save me as a machine, what hope do you inspire again?" Superman realises it was John the guy he tried to save and looks at him shocked and apologises to him before Metallo shuts down. Superman flies off.
Second half - Lex is mad at the news Metallo has been defeated so he decides to do something so drastic and that's to use the dna on what he has from superman to make himself a clone but he messes up and ends up with Bizzaro enraged at his failed superman clone he torments the clone, tortures him, telling him superman is the enemy and calls Bizzaro names and so on which enraged Bizzaro having him leave Lex's company to go kill Superman. One day whilst saving a family from a fire superman is just speared mid air by Bizzaro causing the two to Duke it out as superman is left reeling as he can't believe he has to fight a look a like of himself and he's trying to talk sense into Bizzaro but its not working so Superman fires back harder hits which does knock some sense into him but then emerges Lex from his limo wanting front row to see his failure actually succeed in killing superman. Bizzaro has superman in a choke hold as Superman tells Bizzaro "please don't do this I'm you, I'm not the enemy, I'm friend, I am brother,  I am family." which has Bizzaro let go of superman and questioning himself whilst Lex is yelling at Bizzaro, lex just bullies Bizzaro calling him useless and a freak and a ugly failure which Bizzaro snaps and picks lex up and goes to snap him in two but lex pulls a controller out and presses a button which causes a small bomb in Bizzaro to go off exploding his head as lex laughs and looks at superman saying "You can thank Amanda for her services there, as I have just saved your life" Superman looks at lex baffled and replies. "What do you mean, why would you do that?" Lex: "Look around you Superman, can't you see all the cameras, they now will all say that I saved you which means to the public I have redeemed myself so my companies stock can rise again!" Superman: "So you set up all this for money?" Lex: "Gee if you'd actually have a brain you'd know it's not about the money at all. If it was up to me I'd have killed you after your family but your a very lucky boy today and very lucky that I have a lot instore for not only you but also your friends, family and the entire world! It's going to be fun so I hope you like chess, because I've made the first move." as Lex gets in his limo and rides off, leaving Superman to have a quiet day and get back to the office supporting Superman of the new public opinion of Lex Luther. And if you want an after credit to my comment story I'd put Lex meeting up with a Mr. Savage ;)

I'd cast Sam Worthington as Metallo, there's a tongue in cheek Terminator reference to be had here :P

I'd also cast Johnny Depp as Vandal Savage, i'm sure there's a tongue in cheek fragrance reference to be had there also. Why Depp as Savage? The two are quite eccentric and Depp can pull off the look and intensity of Savage easily.

Thanks for reading this, if anyone did, I got carried away here haha.

Top 10 Batman Bat-Suits

Hello and welcome back to my blog now please remove your shoes as we enter the Bat cave to look at my 10 fave Batman costumes and not all of them are Bruce's.....

10) 1st Batsuit
This is where it all started sharp looking cowl and cape and some purple gloves for some reason this was the Bats first suit he debut in comics. 75 years of The Batman has come with some changes but this one i put in 10th place for it being the first and it was drawn really nice like the style on it. Why the purple gloves? No idea.

9) Arkham Knight bat suit
One of the most recent Bat games and suits see's this uniquely armoured outing with Batman what i like most about the suit is the logo which is disconnected at parts and when suitting up it all connects and locks together and its so versatile batman can literally do anything with no restrictions from the armoured plates.

8) Batwing
Batwing is the Batman of Africa, a super-hero operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In his civilian identity he is a police officer fighting against corruption in the department. Using an arsenal of advanced technology supplied by Batman, his Batwing Suit is a powerful exo-skeleton. With his manservant Matu Ba, he wages a one-man war against evil to protect the city of Tinasha. He has been a member of Batman Incorporated, the Batman Family, the Kollektiv and Justice League International. His successor is Luke Fox, the son of Lucius Fox, who operates in Gotham City. Batwing was created by Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham, first appearing in Batman Incorporated #5. (2011)

7) Hellbat
The Hellbat was an armor forged together by the Justice League and designed and built by Batman to help him fight in battles beyond his strength level. To this end it allows Batman to have increased physical abilities, but drains his metabolism, and can kill him if used too much. The armour itself was composed of a shifting nano kinetic metallic composition which could be shed and re-adorned to his person on command via voice activated computer A.I, with a built-in cloaking feature giving him total invisibility. It's such a badass suit!

6) New 52 Batsuit
New 52 Batman is the current ongoing batman suit in the dc continuity as to when this blog was written. It's much sleeker and features a new logo and some little patterns on it which makes it unique i think and i like it and the new 52.

5) Batman Beyond
I love BOTF aka BB and Terry Mcguinnes as Batman the show was top notch honestly if you have not seen the show go and watch it please it holds up well, is dark and entertaining much like the animated series and it does feature an aged Bruce who will still throwdown if you anger him. This suit of course is futuristic and it's features and gadgets are spectacular and make this suit so special.

4) AzBat
The fight for who should next be the bat got a bit crazy at times and one guy who liked batman a lot who was crazy but had morales decided he should do it and basically went out made his on and started doing Batmans job when he was unable to. Azbat's justice delivery system came with loss of life. After Bruce Wayne was defeated and crippled by Bane, he nominated Jean-Paul Valley to take up the mantle of Batman while he recovered. While initially wearing Bruce Wayne’s uniform, Jean-Paul would eventually begin to succumb to his “programming”, becoming more and more corrupted by the crime he was fighting, and replaced the suit with his own tailor-made armour with razor disks, blades and hidden weapons, becoming a more aggressive and unstable Batman, known among comic-fans as the “Azbat” ("Azrael-Batman").

3) Thomas Wayne Flashpoint Suit
In the Flashpoint reality, Thomas Wayne - rather than Bruce - appears as Batman. Thomas is shown to have Joe Chill's gun in the Batcave's trophy display, from when he killed Chill in a brutal beating due to the latter killing his son Bruce in cold blood. Thomas is more violent than Bruce and willing to kill to achieve his goals, as shown when he throws a young villain named Yo-Yo off a rooftop after she refuses to cooperate with him to stop the Joker. So to be a harsher revenge driven Batman it requires the suit get altered so red piercing eyes and guns holstered to it in a dark black and grey colour scheme means, no jail time for criminals only death.

2) Neil Adams Batsuit
This and number 1 on my list are the suits i was most exposed to as i grew up with their comics and tv shows i seen them the most. Famously drawn by the likes of Neal Adams and Jim Aparo, he eventually created a unique fire-retardant and chemical-resistant triple-weave Kevlar thread for the suit. The material had carbon nanotube fibers that imparted it with a unique sheen and made it heavily resistant to tearing. This material would go into the creation of all following batsuits and other suits in the Bat Family. The most notable traits of this evolution was the incorporation of the yellow ellipse around the bat emblem as well as the capsule utility belt.

1) The Animated Series Suit
In Batman: The Animated Series (1992–1995) the Batsuit is based on the "New Look" costume. The cape, cowl, gloves, briefs and boots are dark blue, as indicated by the highlight. Occasionally the cape and cowl are also shown to be one piece and when he's not fighting, the cape sometimes resembles a cloak, draped over Batman's body. The costume lacks any armor qualities, instead being merely a body suit with no apparent special features and it often becomes torn in serious fights. It is occasionally seen packed in Bruce Wayne's luggage or in his vehicles, and it is made clear that he has numerous spares. My fave as its from one of my fave animated shows and takes on Batman on tv.

Where's the movie suits? They will be covered in another list!

Do you prefer Batman with long ears or short ones?

Honourable Suit Mentions

The Batman suit (2004), Dick Grayson's Batsuit, Injustice 1 and 2 suits, Zur-En-Arrh Batsuit, Troika Batsuit, Justice League Batman Metal Suits, Movie suits and all Lantern suits.

Alright keep your eyes on Gotham and remember who to call if anyone steps out of line for we shall deliver justice swiftly to them!

Top 10 Batman Villains

Hello and welcome to the asylum, where deranged run freely now you have entered the darkest place of Gotham!
So without further ado let's take a look at a list i compiled of 10 of my favourite Batman villains!

10) Harley Quinn

Before her puddin' corrupted her, she was a smart girl but following Mister J's madness she has also gone down the rabbit hole and come out loopy however she is very agile and that has always stuck with her. She made her debut in the animated series of Batman in the 90s. She has been on both sides of Batman but mostly due to her puddin she sticks by his side and her puddin being the number one spot on the list....

9) Poison Ivy

Smart and immune to virus, toxins and bacteria all while making new plants and plant chemicals and controlling plants Ivy is not one to mess with. She cares about the environment and all plant life so taking her down for batman has been both easy and a challenge and the two have been on the same page a few times over the years but is she really that trustworthy? Who knows what tricks shes up to in new 52 continuity.

8) Ra's Al Ghoul

The head of a demon is not to be taken lightly, not only did he train Batman and a whole army which he also commands but he is very skilled in combat and weaponry, he's smart and partially immortal and i say partially as he has been killed and brought back and he can live for a long time with usage of the Lazarus pit but he can and has been beat.

7) Penguin

Cobblepot is one of Batsy's oldest foes he is smart, tricksy and skilled not one to be taken lightly even if he is one to be easily shaken down.

6) The Riddler

What an enigma it is to be here on the list in this spot huh? Ed is Batman's smartest foe i would argue. He may seem playful at first but Riddler is a much darker smart villain of Batman's rogues.

5) Two-Face

From friend to foe, Harvey was a great ally to Batman til Maroni threw Acid into Harveys face which ruined his good looks and deteriorated his mental state however he still has his smarts left in his Harvey side it's just his other side you need to stay away from.

4) Scarecrow

Ah Crane how scary can he get oh well if he gets you with his fear toxin the answer will shock you! He is skilled and smart after all he is in the psychology business. He can take you down without landing a punch if he wants to it's all in his fear gas and he has been able to transform into a scarebeast as he called it which ups all his stats and makes him disfigured and horrifying to face and makes his fear toxin more potent. Not one to ever take lightly.

3) Mr.Freeze

He started his Bat life in the comics and on tv portrayed as a gimmick silly character full of cold jokes and tactics until TAS came along and made him bad ass and one of bat's deadly respected and smart villain. He has been on both side of Batman but most often or not he is on the side of evil. He is not evil for the sake of it what he does is out of the love he has for his wife and to support her and keep her alive if he can. Batman has sympathy for Freeze and respect for him it's why they have often teamed up. Freeze is one of my fave villains just thought he should be in this spot.

2) Bane

Batman's toughest opponent obviously this masked convict is here in the high spot after all he was the one who broke the Bat! Super strong and smart to boot Bane does cause great stress to Batman.

1) Joker

Could there be any one else in the top spot? The clown prince of crime who only had one bad day to send him to lunacy, this is the most iconic villain in comic history. Everyone knows the Joker and a few or all of these villains so i aimed to have kept all these tid bits short to the point.

Honourable mentions
Clayface,Deathstroke,Hush, Jason Todd, Black Mask, Killer Croc, Deadshot, Falcone, Hugo Strange, Phantasm, Joe Chill, Man-Bat, Court Of Owls, Talia Al Ghoul and Catwoman. (Did not want to put Catwoman or Todd on the list due to them mostly being allied with Batsy)

BONUS BATMAN BEYOND VILLAIN MENTIONS
Inque, Blight, Royal Flush Gang, Dee Dee Twins, Woof, Ghoul, Tim Drake Joker, Shriek and Spellbinder. (BTW Blight is my fave BB villain.)
Hope you enjoyed reading this list. Comment and or message me your thoughts and any lists you want me to cover.

For now thanks for visiting an reading, stay shiny!
