My Power Ranger Morphin' Masters

Here I am today to present to you my dream line up for the Power Rangers Morphin Masters.
So these are rangers who have a lot of powers and can switch between their forms freely via a master morpher and who I think would be ideal at passing on the powers down the grid to others and to restore the grid if it ever get's shattered again.
1 - Tommy Oliver
Obvious choice first as we have seen this legendary Ranger with his Master Morpher and still to this day Tommy remains the most popular power ranger of all time.

2 - Billy Cranston
The smartest power ranger ever, he left Earth to go to an alien planet so if anyone could make a master morpher it would be him as he is the smartest ranger and human ever and so it would be fitting to see him go to Earth to see his friends and assemble a team of rangers unlike no other, the Mighty Master Morphin' Rangers.

3 - Jason Lee Scott
Jason the first red ranger but he also became the legendary gold zeo ranger so this i feel would be a great fit.

4 - Adam Park
Adam who could turn into MMPR Black, Zeo Green and Turbo Green would be another great fit aswell as his martial arts background.

5 - Sky Blake Tate
Sky from SPD started as blue, went to red and also became Deka Ranger so he has great military experience and leadership to become a valid member of the team.

6 - Gia Moran
Megaforce and Supermegaforce yellow she has access to all yellow rangers so this makes her a unique member for the team.

7 - Orion
He can be all the legendary 6th rangers so why should he not be on the team?

8 - Jen Scotts
One of the all time best pink rangers should be on the team, she is so tough and fearless and such a strong leader so I think she would blend well here!

So that is my list today, it was a random topic but very though provoking for me and for the Power Ranger fandom I would like to think. Why 8 rangers? Turn 8 on it's side and it is an infinity symbol so these guys will have their power through all space and time and be travel anywhere when needed so yeah infinity hehe. Let me know your thoughts and your list :)

Zack Snyder's Justice League Film Review

Snyder Cut Justice League is absolutely amazing!
Action, storytelling, plot, characters, acting, cgi, the pacing. I loved every minute of it and I so wish there was more now! There's no after credits just Epilogue that covers so much!

Josstice League has some great moments still but Snyders version is much better. If I could mix both versions I think that would be a 10/10 film and a master piece for sure.
*****POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! *****

The flash race Superman after credit of Joss's was so good and fun and I love that and to not have it in Snyders version was disappointing. Also the John Williams rehash superman score from Josstice league is missing and so is every body knows and come together besides that music wise it's wicked. This Arthur Curry was better more in line with his solo film. Snyder set up nicely for future Wonder Woman story aswell as Flash, Batman, Justice League 2, a certain Martian story and a possible injustice alternate film with the Knightmare scenes. Of course there's jokes or scenes in Joss's which worked and it's a shame to not have them.

Both films are very much Cyborg focused and omg Ray Fisher what a performance and his Cyborg is brilliant in Snyder Cut. Henry Cavill still giving us the best superman. I think there was just a bit too much Black Suit Superman like we didn't need to have all that and at least we should have had another scene in where he explained the suit and gathered up his powers to full potential again and then shown off the classic suit like especially in the end when Clark is on the street and he shreds his shirt and to not see the Red S was just weird because time had passed by months at that point so the suit was not needed to be black.

I think Leto gave a better performance in Suicide Squad than in Snyder cut but he still had great lines and a decent performance just more unhinged would have worked better and also the laugh was just not good enough. Deathstroke well omg we need to see him against batman. Darkseid well need to see more omg scary and so intimidating it's well in line with all his appearances. Steppenwolf was better he looked and sounded more menacing and ALIEN.

Some are boycotting this and speaking ill of the film because of Amber Heard and I thought she was good and it's just silly to boycott or down rate it because she's in this film, this was filmed years ago mostly, so it seems daft to say you hate it over her as she's not even the main character or anything but ah well picky tricky people are out there.

Overall I think I'd give this film a 9/10! It blew me away it was what I been waiting to see for years! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse #SnyderCut #JusticeLeague

Top 10 Foo Fighters Songs

What if i said this list is not like the others?
What if I asked how the devil are you? How about we get on the list?

So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Monkey Wrench
Grohl told Mojo magazine January 2010 this is about the disintegration of his marriage to photographer Jennifer Youngblood: "It's about living with someone and feeling like you're living in a fu--ing cell. And then I wound up getting a divorce," he said. Good entry to the top 10 is this fast energetic 1 in 10 song.

9: Arlandria
Arlandria is a town in Virginia where Dave said he lived when he moved back there, he also said Virginia is his mom's name so I think the "my sweet Virginia, I'm the same as I was in your arms" might be a double meaning. overall I think it's him kind of saying, I'm gonna be myself, if I'm not who you want me to be then back off. It hits hard and then slows but god is this a good one!

8: Times Like These
It's times like these I sit and think wow, Foo's have some class tracks haha. The lyrics discuss how Dave Grohl felt "like I wasn't entirely myself" during the three-month hiatus the Foo Fighters entered following the tense and unsatisfying first recording sessions for One by One, as well as his uncertainty about the future of the band. This one makes me feel nostalgic thinking of times with my friends.

7: Best Of You
I've got another confession to make this one is awesome. The song doesn't have to be confined to cliched songs about love and relationships, it's about "breaking free from things that confine you", as said by Dave Grohl. At the risk of sounding sentimental, it could be breaking free from the things in you that were holding you down, all the regrets, all the pain, that you may have felt, everything that which is holding down your full potential. Such an inspiring song, feels good man.

6: My Hero
Aim for the bushes because there goes my hero at number 6. Dave said "['My Hero' is] my way of saying that when I was young, I didn't have big rock heroes, I didn't want to grow up and be some big sporting hero. My heroes were ordinary people and the people that I have a lot of respect for are just solid everyday people - people you can rely on.". Honestly one of their best songs!

5: All My Life
Dave Grohl has said that this is about cunnilingus, which is the female equivalent of fellatio. Listen to the lyrics, and you'll hear the innuendoes: "I love it but I hate the taste," "Over and over down on my knees." "yeah this song is kinda dirty". Angsty tune for me love this makes me headbang and sing along as loud as i can cruising home.

4: Walk
I think it's about finally getting a shot at something and taking full advantage of it, living in the moment, embracing life, TRIUMPH! The best song from their hit album wasting light.

3: Everlong
Everlong was written against the background of the break-up of Dave Grohl's first marriage to photographer Jennifer Youngblood. Having returned home to Virginia for Christmas 1996, Grohl turned the initial riff into a complete song and wrote the lyrics after falling for a new woman, "That song's about a girl that I'd fallen in love with and it was basically about being connected to someone so much, that not only do you love them physically and spiritually, but when you sing along with them you harmonise perfectly." There was a girl I used to like and this song would make me cry a lot because I felt it was how my situation and feelings were for her.

2: The Pretender
Grohl revealed in an interview with the XFM Radio station that they put this song together in a day, while other tracks on the record took several weeks. In the same interview he alluded that the song referred to political unrest and people not getting what they're promised but would prefer people to have their own idea or interpretation. Such an anthem man, one of my all time faves.

1: Learn To Fly
My first time hearing Foo Fighters was with this song and it's one of my faves of theirs, comedic video and catchy great tune to boot. The music video for the song was directed by Jesse Peretz and won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video. The music video features the Foo and Tenacious D and it's a parody of Airplane basically so what could go wrong? First song and fave song from the Foo's for me.

Thanks for reading, that's my list, come back again for more blogs and top 10s and all other assorted bits and bobs to make you laugh and make you think.

Top 10 Dua Lipa songs

Hey, what's up?
I hope you are well today, so here's a different list as not too long ago I got myself into Dua Lipa and I purchased Future Nostalgia album and loved all the songs on there.
I am also including collabs with Dua in this list.
So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Cool
In a statement to Apple Music where Lipa broke down each track on the “Future Nostalgia” album, Lipa explained the process behind “Cool” and her initial reaction to the song: “My A&R played me this song two years ago, and I instantly hated it. I was like, “Please never play me this again.” But a year down the line, when I was writing, he sat me down and was like, “I have something to play you.” And he just played the instrumental and I was like, “This is actually really good with no lyrics.” I went into the studio with Tove Lo and just had fun exploring. It has some Prince influences, and it was a range of my voice I hadn’t tried. This whole album was about exploring growth and trying out new things, so I wanted to embrace challenges. We wrote something that felt really real to me, and it’s just a romantic, summery song, about meeting someone who has you losing all your cool.”. Catchy and laid back this just gripped me through my first listen of Future Nostalgia and stuck with me since like a summer breeze through your hair on a car journey.

9: Break My Heart
"Break My Heart" is an funky disco-pop song where Dua Lipa questions whether a new love will leave her nursing a broken heart again. The chorus is so catchy, cant help singing along to it.

8: Prisoner
The synth-heavy rock track is a blend of Dua's techno and Miley's pop-rock styles. Cyrus told Zane Lowe it was one of several songs the two powerhouse divas cut together. "She wanted to keep going until it was right, until we found the one that honours our individuality," she said of Lipa. "We just waited until we felt like, "Now this is Dua-Miley song. You can just, everything about it reflects us." A great collab by Miley and Dua, often bopping my head to this song and singing along, it does stick in your head and becomes such a ear worm but hey its good.

7: One Kiss
This up-tempo track finds Calvin Harris paying homage to '90s-style house music. The song features seductive vocals about the power of a kiss by Dua Lipa. Harris has been a fan of the British-Albanian songstress since she released "Be The One" in 2015. "I just want to make dance music again, it seemed like a good opportunity to make a house-sounding record with her," he said in an interview with Zane Lowe. Dua Lipa is no stranger to successful collaborations, having scored UK Top 20 hits on "Scared To Be Lonely" with Martin Garrix and Sean Paul's "No Lie." This is one of the earliest songs I heard from Dua but i just appreciate it more now that I am into her music more, its a good collab.

6: New Rules
It's about someone trying to move on from a relationship and establishing new rules with herself to keep herself from falling back into that failed relationship. Damn catchy, this was the first song i was exposed to of hers and i did not think so much of it but since i have gotten fully into Dua, I do appreciate and enjoy this song more.

5: Hallucinate
Lyrically, the song finds Dua Lipa singing about loving someone so much it's making her lose her mind and "hallucinate." I enjoy listening to this, even making my own dance moves for this song in my head and whilst showering haha, so damn fun and catchy.

4: Levitating
Dua Lipa's songs are often upbeat musically, but with downbeat lyrics about romantic difficulties ("Don't Start Now," "Break My Heart"). However, "Levitating" is an all-round euphoric jam. "It's about having fun and meeting someone and falling in love and thinking, 'You've probably met me at the perfect time, let's just go for it," Dua Lipa explained to Apple Music. "It's the feeling when love makes you feel like you're levitating. It's otherworldly." A damn fine catchy tune here i cant help singing along to, almost got all the lyrics down still working on it hehe but i love this.

3: Physical
"Physical" is an upbeat electropop number in which Dua Lipa celebrates her intimacy with her lover. The song channels Olivia Newton-John's 1981 hit of the same name. A great song to jog or run to when the beat kicks in, i cant help but to do a flash dance rain scene whilst singing to this jam ah ha.

2: Don't Start Now
The jealous ex just can't stand the fact that the singer is over their relationship. Dua Lipa tells him he's better off staying away rather than seeing her dancing with somebody else. "It's about moving on," Lipa told Radio.com. "It's about finding confidence in that and not letting anyone get in the way of your happiness. I think it's always important to remember that your happiness should come first." Regularly dancing and singing along to this and even showing the emote off in fortnite from this song haha, i loves it mun!

1: Love Again
After going through a toxic relationship, Lipa had given up on love, but now she's found somebody she can love again. Dua Lipa explained during an episode of the Netflix series Song Exploder that at the time she wrote the track, she was in a long-term relationship with a man who was being dishonest with her. Her inspiration was, "I need to be released from this." The song samples "My Woman" by Lew Stone & The Monseigneur Band and Al Bowlly, which Bing Crosby co-wrote and originally recorded. White Town famously sampled its trumpet instrumental in his 1997 hit "Your Woman." Both "Love Again" and "Your Woman" share the theme of an unhappy relationship and breakup. Like omg is this such a tune, i really love this song so much!

Thanks for reading, that's my list, come back again for more blogs and top 10s and all other assorted bits and bobs to make you laugh and make you think.

Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. 8: Halestorm
Halestorm is an American rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother drummer and percussionist Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bassist Josh Smith. ABBA are a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The group's name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names.Mama Mia would have to be my pick for my fave song of their but omg do they have some hits so it's hard to choose just one.

1: Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967. Fleetwood Mac were founded by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, before bassist John McVie joined the lineup for their self-titled debut album. Danny Kirwan joined as a third guitarist in 1968. Go Your Own Way is my pick for fave song of the Mac but again is it hard to pick just one song.

So that's that, list all done. Did you like it? Do you like any of these? Did I forget your fave?

First Dose Covid 19 Vaccine Side Effects

So it's 6th March a day after my first dose and 4am I was awake I could not sleep my arm was aching. I woke up when I eventually fell asleep to severe body aches, head ache and I felt sick and I coughed up phlegm earlier in the day. Later on through the day I felt really cold despite being told the house is warm and despite me being wrapped up in bed. Honestly this feels like a hangover crossed with flu. Temp fluctuations are so annoying. I also feel like my body is slow like as if I'm moving in water?

7th March I woke up with a headache, I also had hot flush with dead arm still but by the night time most of these subsided and instead I only had a slight tender arm and cold flushes. Overall I feel more myself today. Sneezing a lot not sure if related to these side effects or not.

See how I feel tomorrow now really, I think I will be all better by the morn! 8th March and I feel a whole lot better but I do feel like I got a cold today just sneezing, coughing and sniffling a lot other than that still a dead arm.

9th March no other symptoms all fine, feel great just bit tired and still got dead arm but its easing. I think I'm out of the woods and may do a video update on youtube to follow up this week.

Thanks for following and reading my documentation of my side effects and getting the covid vaccine!

When I Go Do This For Me

Must remember to ask someone to get the narrator from dbz to do me an outro to my funeral with this piece of music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgqFvGWlPF0&list=WL&index=136&ab_channel=RobbieWallace2007%7BFifiLaFume%27sHusband%7D

"And so we see the body of Scott laid to rest. He was a good man with the kindest heart, with the best-est of friends. His loves for dragonball, star wars and wrestling will live on forever in the hearts of those who cared for him best. Scott never rest until the day was done where he made someone laugh, smile or feel special about themselves. He even seen lights in the darkest of places in the darkest of people. He made friends from enemies and made enemies along the way but one thing never changed and that was his heart of gold. Friends and family we ask you to shed a tear, to crack a smile, to be good to each other and always remember the legend of this man today, we are gathered one last time to say goodbye to, Farewell Scott until the next episode of after life Z."

I've Had My First Covid Vaccine!

 Friday 5th March,

I went to my local GP after being contacted on Tuesday 2nd March (click here for that post)

I met with a nurse named Naomi and she was tidy and helpful enough, giving me the details on what I can expect and answering my questions I had about it. I rolled up my sleeve once we was both ready and she inserted the needle into my arm injecting the first dose into my arm. Astra vaccine is what I was given.
What I felt was a sharp pinch followed by like cold liquid touching my skin well going into my arm so say for example a bit of water splashed you and it ran down your arm? It's basically what that felt like.

Side effects I was told about were headache, aches in joints and my arm feeling dead so pins and needles like and static basically. I felt really tired then after my jab.

Further or any more update on side effects and how I feel, I will post another update with and you can bet in 12 weeks time I will be doing another blog post and video on getting my second and final dose of the vaccine down the line.

I am making youtube videos documenting this and the first video will be uploaded soon on my youtube channel which is called: 1stmetalgod. CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO!

Any questions you have feel free to message me or leave a comment.

Thanks for reading!

THANK YOU NHS!

I'm Having My Covid Vaccine

So on March 2nd 2021 at 6pm, I was contacted via my GP in my local doctor's surgery to attend an appointment on the 5th March 2021 to get my fist dose of the covid 19 vaccine.

I was gobsmacked I was like "what? how? Yes I'll be there for my first dose, see you soon have a nice day bye!" to the lady on the phone.

So yeah I'm relieved and over the moon but also confused as to how and why I have been chosen since I should be relatively bottom of the list but hey I'm not gonna turn it down.

I'll post update and give my details on the experience soon as it's happened. I am making a video documenting the events and effects and all sorts as I go into and come out of having my first dose of the vaccine.

Stay shiny and stay tuned!

Top 10 AEW Entrance Theme Songs

Hey, what's up?
It's been a while since I did a top 10 so why not return and return to the blog with a top 10 all new and fresh out of my mind and today's digestive topic is AEW Wrestling Entrance themes.

So I'm going to be listing my top 10 faves. I hope you like this list and the songs on them and if you have any other suggestions please comment or tag me on twitter @1stmetalgod.

10: Arrival - Sting
New to the brand but a legend in the ring Sting shocked the world a few months back by appearing in AEW. Of course with Sting here we can't help but to always shout at the arrival of the immortal one with a loud "WOO!" and say "IT'S STIIIIIIIIIIINGG!!!!!!!".

9: Everybody Dies - Lance Archer
So destructive and unstable just like the murderhawk, i really like his theme.

8: Join Us - Dark Order
Cult like and dark and intimidating as are the team of the Dark Order but also the theme is very badass heavy and catchy now JOIN US.

7: Juicy - Orange Cassidy
Far out man it's the laid back freshly squeezed one himself. I love Orange he is so funny but also he is such a great talent.

6: Battle Cry - Kenny Omega
Video game themed suiting Kenny's likes and ofcourse when it kicks in with that demonic voice and speedy instrumentals it's so good and really makes him stand out.

5: Kingdom - Cody Rhodes
Cody's theme is iconic with AEW and himself and it's so catchy, fits him and its a great bop.

4: Tarzan Boy - Jungle Boy
Tony Khan the mad legend himself surprised us and Jungle Boy with this hell of a Christmas present a 80s classic and one which is so fun it represents Jungle Boy to a tee for so many obvious reasons, belter of a song and a hell of a competitor is Jungle Boy.

3: I Fell - Darby Allin
Slow, unsteady, calm but collected and very impactful, Darby is such an enigma he's grown to become one of my favourite wrestlers since AEW has come about.

2: Unscripted Violence - Jon Moxley
Plug in and play but beware for here comes the MOX, talk about making yourself known with such a badass unrelating song to walk out to, perfect edgy fit for the maniac Jon is.

1: Judas - Chris Jericho
You can't help but to sing along and love this one. It's such a great song and so fitting for Jericho and this is my number one fave pick for my list.

(all aew names, songs, logos belong to their respective copyright holders!)

Thanks for reading, that's my list, come back again for more blogs and top 10s and all other assorted bits and bobs to make you laugh and make you think.
