Top 10 Game Covers

Another list suggested by James Davie, he's a regular alright haha.

This one is all about Games and their boxarts and ones I think stand out best and are some of the best designed ones anyway. 1 entry per franchise. I'll be honest I don't really know what to say about the covers other than I like them and love the games I feature here so yeah this ain't going to be a stand out or top notch so yeah, i'm gonna babble.

GTA Vice City
Feel the nostalgia! I loved this game the cover shows that this is set in the 80's and as you can see, hot babes, vehicles, people with guns and violence of course.

DOOM
What comes to mind when you see this? Heavy metal? Gore? BIG GUNS?! Yeah same here. Doom is such a classic game I remember going over to a friends house to play the original on his pc and upon seeing the cover I was like wow this looks like its going to be tough. Fast paced bloody action shooter is what it is and what it still is now the reboot was epic but the reboot's cover should have looked more like this....more metal....more badass! Colour and cover go for the chaotic colour scheme.

Resistance Fall Of Man
Dramatic enough for you? I personally love this cover. War and aliens. The game itself was really good so were it's sequels although i did not play the third.

Star Wars Force Unleashed
Boy what a game this was, the cover truly sells you on the impact of how powerful you can become but also shows the character holding a red lightsaber meaning he is evil but he is also using force lightning on Stormtroopers so is he really evil? It poses that question but you can answer it either way just play the game.

DBZ Budokai 3
I'm a sucker for DBZ and I LOVED THIS GAME! The cover basically shows our hero center seemly flying above the Earth with enemies to his left and right with the classic db animation style and colour scheme.

MK9
A clash between fire and ice on the cover of MK9 signify's the conflict within this classic game which appears to be a reboot in the series.

Batman Arkham Asylum
Dramatic and gritty but also the best batman game and batman experience ever made.

La Noire
LA Noire is a modern classic, great game truly innovative and this colour scheme of the red and blue is of typical police lighting but also with Cole's suit in grey it shows there's parts which are shady and are to be played out to truly find the right colour.

SuperMario Land
This makes me so nostalgic i loved this game, one of the best Mario's. Cover suggests it's going to be a tough outing for Mario.

Yakuza Kiwami
More precisely the steelbook, seriously its the most beautiful steelbook and cover i have ever seen or held in my life.

That's all for today folks, thanks for stopping by.
Come back soon for more lists and more content :)

Top 10 Film Posters

Shoutout to James Davie for suggesting this.

For this list I will be including films from the past to the present. For added toughness i'll be sure to make it a 1 entry per series film list. This was super tough to list and is not the definitive list as my opinion will change from time to time but this is the list I chose as of writing.

Halloween
Proving that even the humble pumpkin can be considered menacing, Robert Gleason’s demonic nightmare is arguably unmatched among horror one sheets. We only see Michael Myers’ hand here holding his signature weapon along with the menacing pumpkin face, but his presence is felt heavily especially in it's tagline, with the ’He’ suggesting so much from so little.

Alien
A poster that’s become synonymous with Ridley Scott’s chilling space horror in spite of the fact it looks absolutely nothing like the Xenomorph eggs that appear in the final film. A simple visual cracking egg, creepy glow, alien bio organic texture on the floor matched with the title and beautifully finished with the film’s chilling tagline it's very foreboding.

The Truman Show
Photographic mosaics are a plenty these days but in the days of the late ‘90s, this poster was something of a design trailblazer. It also makes perfect sense for visually communicating Truman Burbank’s life, continuously observed by reality TV cameras, in a single image. Supports the brilliant film nicely.

Lord Of War
At first glance, it’s a straightforward headshot. Look closer, and it’s a headshot in more ways than one: every fragment of The Cage is made up of bullet and shell casings. It’s a meticulous mosaic of militarism, and it works like a treat. This was a decent film aswell one of Cage's best.

X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
The images resemble the wanted posters featured in the original comic, and thanks to the film’s time travel plot, both the younger and older versions of Professor X and Magneto appear onscreen. These character posters visualise that by overlaying the younger actors’ faces over their older counterparts. The placement of the X over the characters’ eyes draws the viewer’s attention to the perfect spot. And instead of bothering with unnecessary text, the designer just put the movie’s release date in the lower right hand corner. The minimalist style works because it highlights characters the audience already knows and loves.

LOTR: Fellowship
More precisely I chose this trilogy teaser poster, it's simplistic but the lighting showing most of Frodo, his clothes and background as dark represents the dark path he must take ahead of him to destroy the one ring which as you can see in the poster it's brightly lit signifying its importance and power. Not going to lie it's one of my favourite films and trilogies in existence aswell so had to throw it in here.

Avengers Infinity War
The most recent entry on this list is this blockbuster powerhouse costing over a billion to make and it's earned double that as of writing I believe but this film features the big heavyweight actors of modern day Hollywood and it's colour scheme is eye catching yet hides a darker tone to it with it's colours too.

The Dark Knight
Why so serious? This is one of a couple of posters used for the film which was brilliant. I love how dark and serious this poster is showing us that what we are about to see is a dark dramatic tense superhero film and that's what we got. The Joker's why so serious one shows the same and there's a sense of unpredictability aswell in the poster with the Joker writing why so serious on a mirror or piece of fogged up glass and it seems to be coming from his face from his smile. Brilliantly designed posters for such a brilliant film.

V For Vendetta
Anarchy reigns strong here in this eye-catching colourful poster for one of the best film's in modern times hell even all of time I would argue. The red and black colour scheme used is telling us the viewers that this film is powerful, sophisticated and passionate quite the intimidating combination.

Star Wars (EP 4)
Tom Jung’s striking theatrical poster for Star Wars is such a classic and it's an iconic stand out among films in the sci-fi genre and all other movie gerne's for that matter in my opinion. Composed around a ‘good vs evil’ concept it's a straightforward poster, Jung used the lightsaber’s unusual cross motif against the dark of Vader’s helmet to convey the film’s moral struggle. The title style here is a direct nod to the opening crawl.

And that's my list, thanks for visiting!

Without A Care In The World (Original Song Lyrics)

You're asking me questions, which can easily be solved,
By using your noggin, you don't gotta login,
To find the answers, you don't need to search the net,
Just use the common sense in your headset,
And would you lo and behold...

You're useless,
You cant follow simple instructions at all,
You're worthless,
Can't handle the pressure this role installs,
It's amusing, the system of which your abusing,
Is it a joke?,
Does it look like i'm laughing?,
Does it look like i'm laughing now?,

Sir we got no hotdogs on the grill, whatever do we do?,
You're asking me a question that is the epitome of stupidity,
I hope you're happy, your about to be fired,
Oh what a pity,
You're dumb-ass can go claim dole,
So go have fun in the unemployment line,
A-hole,

You're dumb,
You make me so numb,
You're useless,
Cant use your noggin at all,
You're abusive,
I feel sorry for your brain,
I'm surprised you even know your own name,
Time for you to leave this plain, get out of the game,
You're just useless,

Excuse me, there's a mess in the corridor, what do we do?
Go clean it, don't tell me or ask me to,
Are you daft or just missing a screw?,
Do you think i'm your own personal slave?,
Is this the sort of attention you crave?,
What do you possibly gain?
Please stop your gonna make me cry,
I can't take these pathetic lies,
You're such an insufferable pain.

You're lazy,
Can't do nothing at all,
Why can't you play ball,
You're a joke,
Get the heck out of my space,
Can you please leave this place,
You're annoying,
Please just get the hell away from me,
Excuse me while i work away and carry you unwillingly to the finish,

Ok who the heck did this?,
Leaving their mugs all over the place,
Dirty and disgusting, someone else is being lazy, show your face,
Own up before i trash this space,
You again, it's always you,
You don't care, you always complain,
Even though you stand around doing nothin,

You're useless,
You cant follow simple instructions at all
You're worthless,
Can't handle the pressure this role installs,
It's amusing, the system of which your abusing, is it a joke?,
Does it look like im laughing?,
Does it look like im laughing now?

By Myself

Song is pretty self explanatory, It's about those co-workers you get well im sure everyone gets at some point where they are lazy, they stand around gormless like a zombie, no care in the world, they don't follow instructions and they are messy. They get under our skin and rub us the wrong way for it. Written for them all about them.

Top 20 Wrestling Theme Songs Of All Time!

Alri? James Davie my good friend asked me this question and I intend to answer it and I will post it all here with links and from 20 to 1.

There's a lot of awesome themes out there and my mind will change time to time but wish me luck and let's hope your faves shows up here too. :)

I'll throw in a mixed bag.

20: Abyss - Down In The Catacombs
First time I seen TNA, I saw Icons, High flyers and A MONSTER! *Click* DOOMSDAY! Abyss seems to have one of the few themes in TNA history that you can recognise within a couple of seconds . It’s not an overly long song, as it loops on itself after about 75 seconds in, but those 75 seconds take you on a journey of mystery and horror!

19: Sting TNA - Slay Me!
TNA gave him his best song i feel. Truly iconic and the guitar instrumental is truly epic! One of very few easily recognisable theme songs.

18: GRADO - Like A Prayer
Guilty pleasure brilliantly funny fan favourite wrestler.

17: Charlotte Flair - Recognition
I love Charlotte's flair's song, it's a metal version of Ric flair's theme with added flair if i do say so myself.

16: Hardy Boyz - Loaded
Classic tune, everytime it played you cant help but do the hardy's salute and thrust your hips while smacking tornado's.

15: Christian - At Last
I only few years ago rediscovered this golden gem treat and i love it and used to play it constantly on repeat.

14: Beer Money - Take A Fall
BEER! MONEY! What a team, what a song, when it comes to tag teams many come to mind but among first thought of making this list, this team came second for the first team came at 16. I love this one.

13: Cena (Word Life & Time Is Now)
John Cena is the biggest star the WWE has had since The Rock and is arguably one of the greatest of all time. But Cena’s music didn’t gain widespread recognition until it got memed into the social universe, when “Unexpected Cena” became the viral hit of the summer in 2015 and has since become the Kurt Angle You Suck Chanted song of the modern era. JOHN CENA SUUUCKS, JOHN CENA SUCKS etc etc. Cena's word life i personally love and know most of it off by top of my head and it gets stuck in my brain most days it's brilliant and i miss word life cena.

12: Kurt Angle (WWE&TNA themes)
From the Angle chanted of the modern era to this one well two. Angle's Medal theme is so awesome and thanks to Edge getting the fans to chant YOU SUCK it became iconic and also made Kurt i'd say. Kurt's tna theme gold medalist is epic, it's almost terminator like start to then kicking off with a great rap it's brilliant and i love it.

11: Kane - Burned
First time hearing this i was like what in the world and then BOOM PYRO and the drums pound and the guitar screetches and its just the ultimate big red badass piece of machinery to go along with the big red machine himself because THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE!

10: Aleister Black - Root Of All Evil
Upon first listen i was hooked on the song and on Black. The track truly brings an “end of times” mindset with it, which speaks volumes alongside Black’s silent death stare. Code Orange and Incendiary, the New York hardcore band who recorded the song, played Black’s introduction together live at Barclay’s Center last August in what was probably the best live-intro entrance the WWE has ever put together.

9: CM Punk - Cult Of Personality
I have always loved this song and when Punk left wwe came back and this started to play I was like what who the hell is coming out to this and then he came through the curtain and the crowd and myself just jumped out of our seats losing our minds. Obviously i was not there in person when it happened just saying i was at home like "OMG!".

8: The Demon Finn Balor - Catch Your Breath
Finn is a complex character but what a talent just a shame Vinnie won't push him for a title anymore since he had an injury when he won the big one. This song is epic!

7: Hulk Hogan - Real American
He is a real american and he fights for the rights of every man, catchy, classic and iconic and easily one of the most recognisable theme songs in history.

6: Shinsuke Nakumura - The Rising Sun
I dislike his current theme but his old one is classic it represented the strong style of his hard hitting past whilst embracing the rockstar that he is. His entrance music, while still powerful, has a sense of grace and elegance. With violins winding around a light EDM drum beat, crowds often sing the song’s main riffs in unison, even during the middle of Nakamura’s match. In the modern era of pro wrestling, where a crowd’s enthusiasm often dictates which wrestlers the WWE gives more attention to, theme songs like this are a win-win for everyone involved. And Nakamura’s is an instant classic.

5: Bobby Roode - Glorious Domination
Sometimes, all it takes is a really well-crafted theme song that can make a star. In Bobby Roode’s case, his entrance music shot him to the moon. In less than five months, Roode went from debuting winning the NXT Championship, due in large part to his insanely popular theme song which crowds immediately took to singing along with while he walked to the ring. It’s GLORIOUS!

4: Undertaker - R.I.P.
Just like HH and many other wrestlers on this list this is one of the best, classic and iconic songs but Taker has always had stand out themes. Taker’s smoggy, bone-chilling entrance is almost numbing while he slowly emerges to the tune of church organs and lightning cracks. It’s often said an entrance can make or break a wrestler, and The Undertaker’s unsettling theme is in large part why his introduction is the most thrilling and iconic of all time.

3: The Rock - Electrifying
I always wonder what he is cooking but perhaps it's just Jabroni Pie he does like his pies after all but anyway. Simply electrifying what else is there to say?

2: Stone Cold - I Won't Do What You Tell Me!
Sorry just smashed a glass and hang on, there's a knock at my door......apologies for up and leaving you all suddenly a weird coincidence the minute i smash glass that Stone Cold E.T. shows up with Shark Boy. It was nice to see the two again but anyway if you want me to talk about STEVE AUSTIN gimmie a HELL YEAH! That's what i thought,  That “OH SHIT, IT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL” sound meant you were about to see someone’s ass get kicked by The Rattlesnake himself. Austin, the main protagonist of pro wrestling’s most celebrated era, was a mean-mugging, shit-talking mad man who routinely threw wrenches into ultra-bad guy Vince McMahon’s evil plans and was always there to save the day. Like a modern-day bat signal, Austin’s entrance music didn’t just mean you were about to see a serious brawl, it meant everything was going to be alright.

1: HHH- The Game!
It’s not hard to point out that Triple H’s theme (played by Motörhead) is one of the best there is. But Lemmy’s voice gave an already credible star a boost into hall-of-fame presentation. With the recognizable legend’s voice at the helm, Triple H’s theme translated one thing: that he was an unparalleled star. As soon as his music hits, Triple H (also known as “The Game”) goes from a character who could hold championships to “final boss” type stuff. It was tough to put any as number 1 on my list but this stood out as number one when i was asked to name my list so i just had to put it here it's epic and it's all about the game and how you play it.

Aaaaaaaaand that's all folks, hope you enjoyed, let me know your faves and come back soon for more lists among other things.

Power Rangers Legacy Figure/Lightning Series (WISH LIST)

Power Rangers is a huge franchise! It's a series I love and have done since I was a kid. I recently got my first PR Legacy figure yep you heard right, and it was Psycho Red!
I just wanted to make a list of all the hero's and villains i want and want to see made into the next line up of Legacy figures and I'll post a couple of pics of some of the hero's and villains just incase you want to see what some of them look like. :)

Hero's
Solaris Knight
Leanbow
Andros Red Space Ranger (with Spiral Saber)
Blue Senturion
Ninjor
Hyper Force Team
Green Ranger MMPR (Hasbro re-release with detachable shield)

Villains
Zen-Aku
Psycho Pink
Lord Drakkon
Koragg
Psycho Ranger Monster Forms
Thrax
Zeltrax (both forms)
Zurgane
Rito
Cyclopsis
Quantrons
Darkonda
Dark Specter
Jakarat with Seymour baby
Vacsaker
Knasty Knight
Deviot
Treacheron
Stingwingers

The villains line up need more love they don't really make many villains or monster toys which is a shame because the power rangers need an enemy to fight to protect the city from because otherwise it's pointless of them having their powers.

Sorry I was unable to post more pictures I guess I hit my limit? Weird.
Thanks for stopping in.

(Since this list was made a few of these have been made and I have now updated this list 2022)
See you again soon!
