Random Ramblin's 43 - Reflection Post Halloween 2020

Reflection time!😎

So Halloween 2020 was an unusual one. This year is so abnormal. We in Wales are in lockdown once more but the firebreak national welsh lockdown is nearing it's end, unfortunately Covid is still roaming. Its been hard for sure but there's also some great things that have and are still happening.

I've done an amazing job and I'm proud of myself for my facepaint. Which even Finn himself liked my demon Bálor paint (1st pic) and the 2nd pic was Cobra Kai halloween inspo with a skeleton they are seen in.😊

OK so I've also got my fave band Sabaton autographs so that is freaking incredible and amazing!!!!🤗😁🤯🥳 I managed to learn The Black Parade more on piano and am trying to learn more and practice more.😄 I've been back gaming and enjoying it after what felt like ages of having a period of unenjoyment with games but all good and fun again. 🙂 I also had the newest Mha movie on steel book triple play and I been waiting ages for it to arrive and I finally have it!!!☺️

Been a while since I posted here but I felt now was a good time.

I'm healing, I'm grieving and some days are harder than others. Life is hard and has more uncertainties than ever before. Never lose hope always keep ahold of it and try to laugh and have a person who can wrap their arms around you even from far away and help you get back up on your feet when life has you down.

I'm an advocate for hope and I won't ever lose hope, I'll keep a tight hold on it.

Peace with you all, look after your minds, be mindful of all the information you take on and don't overload yourself or over work yourself.

Take it easy people!

✌️ 😊✌️

Top 10 Sabaton Songs

Hello! Good to see you soldier, tell me are you new around here private? Well here I am going to tell you of my top 10 fave songs by the most powerful mightiest band on this Earth and that is Sabaton. If you are new to them well use this list as a great kickstart to get into the overlords that stand before you.
To celebrate The Great War i will be listing my 10 fave songs by Sabaton. This list is not definitive as i love all of their stuff honestly but these are at the time of writing ones i have listened to the most. For this list i will be giving you the backstory behind each song because Sabaton operates on a heavy fictional story and i love them and they inspire me and educate me and give me a great boost to my confidence when i hear them and they pump me up so much!

Onward comrades to war and let's get the list kickin! Tanks at the ready!

10: The Last Stand
The story of the 189 brave soldiers in the Swiss Guard during the sacking of Rome in 1527. Since Charles V, ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, couldn't pay his troops they mutinied and forced their commander to lead them towards Rome where plunder was plentiful. When the invading force entered the Vatican, pope Clement VII escaped to Castel Sant'Angelo via Passeto di Borgo. The few remaining guardsmen gave their lives on the steps to St. Peters Basilica.

9: Into The Fire
In the Vietnam war, napalm was used extensively. It was effective at clearing large areas, and often with 100% fatalities. Often times it would fall on both allies and enemies, causing extensive casualties. A popular fan interpretation of the song is about a US Marine, who, after being surrounded with his squad calls a napalm strike on his position.

8: Rise Of Evil
It's about the Nazi's rise to power in the mid to late 1930's.

7: Resist And Bite
This is about the Chasseurs Ardennais. A Belgian battalion ordered to hold the battle line in the Ardenne Forest. Compromised of only 40 soldiers strong, managed to delay the 3rd Panzer Corps of Erwin Rommel aka The Ghost Division.

6: Primo Victoria
This is a great song about D-Day.

5: Panzerkampf
This is about Kursk, the near the beginning "Tanks line up in thousands as far the eye can see" makes sense with this because it was the largest tank battle ever.

4: No Bullets Fly
The song is about the incident between Franz Stigler and Charles Brown. Charles, the pilot of a B-17 Flying Fortress received heavy damage and several of his crew was wounded. As the B-17 was limping back, attempting to reach the safety of England, Franz, after his Me 109 was restocked and refueled had initially been ordered to bring the B-17 down. When we reached within striking distance, Franz noticed the casualties involved and the extensive damage to the bomber. Remembering something he was told as a recruit, he felt it would be dishonourable to shoot the bomber down, as it reminded him akin to a man with his parachute deployed.

3: Night Witches
This is about the 588th Russian Air Squadron, compromised of all female pilots. The sound of the planes in idle flying into their targets was thought to be the sounds of witches flying on broomsticks. The Germans called them Nachthexen, the German phrase for the witches of the night.

2: Ghost Division
"Ghost Division" was the nickname of the 7th Panzer Division of Germany, commanded by Erwin Rommel in the Invasion of France.

1: To Hell And Back
This song is about one of the most highly decorated WWII vets named Audie Murphy (first lieutenant). He received every U.S. award for Valor and the Belgian Croix de Guerre along with the French Croix de Guerre. He received other French awards too. He received the Medal of Honor at 19 for singlehandedly holding off an entire German company of soldiers at Colmar Pocket, France. A company of 50 Germans attacked Audie's platoon that he was commanding. The Germans got a direct hit on their M10 tank destroyer and set it on fire. Audie ordered his platoon into the woods and stoo on the flaming destroyer firing it's .50 cal machine gun for over an hour while the German foot soldiers and tanks targeted him. He suffered a leg wound yet only stopped when he ran out of ammo. He then regrouped and led his platoon on a successful counterattack. Audie also had a 21-year acting career, which led to him playing himself in the autobiographical film "To Hell and Back". He also wrote some poetry and cowrote some songs with Scott Turner. May 28,1971, he aircraft Audie was traveling in crashed due to zero visibility. Along with Audie, four other passengers and the pilot were killed. On June 7 he was buried in Arlington with full military honors.his headstone contains the false birth year 1924 due to him falsifying documents so he could enter the army early. Audie suffered from PTSD and slept with a loaded handgun under his pillow. He took addicting sleep pills to try and negate nightmares.

So private do you think these live up to our overlords orders? Let me know asap.
