10: John Carpenter - Halloween main title theme

Such an iconic tune, chilling, haunting,tense just like the film series. Halloween is my fave slasher horror flick series really and this song is just so good.

9: Bette Midler - I put a spell on you (Hocus Pocus)

Yes Jay Screamin Hawkins version is amazing also but this one sticks out more. As a kid the zombie in Hocus Pocus scared me a lot. I have not seen the film in years yes i know the Midler version almost word for word and the key word is almost so remember that. I may watch it on Halloween....

8: Elena Siegman - 115

What a song! AGGRESSIVE CHUNKY DESTRUCTIVE COOL yes i put ACDC there with the first letters of the words i used to describe the track on purpose. 115 has moments of calming and then shit hits the fan! It's such an awesome track. I only ever played cod zombies on the level this featured on.

7: Bobby Pickett - Monster Mash

Have you ever worked in a lab late one night? Have you done the mash? Was it a graveyard smash?! Such a fun song. It had to be on my list and compiling this list was harder than it looks. 

6: Rob Zombie - Dragula

There's 3 Zombie songs i always love hearing on halloween and it's this superbeast and living dead girl all i have a good mosh and groove to you know but i had to pick Dragula out of the three as it is fun,catchy and rocky so as you see it is an awesome song. 

5: Ray Parker Jr - Ghostbusters

THIS HAS TO BE SOMEWHERE ON EVERYONE'S HALLOWEEN LIST SURELY!? THIS IS AN ICONIC CLASSIC! WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO SAY BUT ARE YOU AFRAID OF GHOSTS?! CALL THE GHOSTBUSTERS AND IF PAUL FEIGE ANSWERS JUST HANG UP!

4: Marilyn Manson - This is halloween

I prefer Manson's version over the disney film version. I will also add.........(PLEASE DON'T KILL ME FOR THIS) I was not a fan of the nightmare before xmas film. It's overrated. 

3: Rocky Horror Picture Show - Time Warp

THIS again has to be on any halloween song list because it's fun as hell catchy and so easy to follow and it is a hell of a song! I don't know what else to say so shall we do the time warp again?

2: Michael Jackson - Thriller

Thiller second place in a halloween list? HOW?! Oh yeah it's my list. Thriller i know is normally number 1 at any halloween song list but mine is different. Why is it second place though? Well that reason i listed already but also i don't listen to it much but it is a classic. The effects in the video is still pretty amazing aswell. Nothing wrong with this at second place i still love it. 

1: The Living Tombstone - Spooky Scary Skeletons (remix)

Oh i hope my number one sends shivers down your spine muhahaha yes i listen and have listened to this song a lot and not only on halloween this is mah jam! Like i will sing it and groove along to it at random times. Driving tends to happen a bit :P Most listened to song here i would say although if i went from most listened i think there would be joint number ones.

Reality Fakery

So much fakery in a place called reality. 

The lines between real and fake are quite hard to spot at times. 

Takes experience to see it all clear but it's never that clear. In a land that's supposed to be real how come there's fake people. 

How come there's broken promises and ignorance and so much hate. 

People who hate the most claim they want peace. Their peace comes out of knowing there's a war. 

My peace comes out of silence and friendliness and trust. 

Who knows why the fakery flows strong in the modern world maybe our technological advances make us blind, maybe our ego's get in the way too much or maybe we are all developing paranoia and anxiety with a mix of depression for the attention maybe it's not. 

The lines are blurred. 

People mutter words. 

Not all good. 

Not all good in this broken world....

Kane's Last WWE Run Idea.

I originally posted this as a comment on a wrestling fan page on facebook but after hearing people like it i decided to share it.

 Ok let's set the Kane last run up. Right I will use Bray as he is feuding with him currently so is Orton but eh that's a good one. Bray once again plays mind games with Kane perhaps Bray traps Kane and say's he will go into his mind. We see Bray in a dark hallway with him giving a big monologue on how the Big Red Machine is a pussy these days and while he is talking at the side of Bray lights will appear on and men looking like Kane will be standing still displaying Kane's best moments all the way to date. Bray say's he want's to help Kane free the monster again by destroying the demon. Have Bray seemingly torture a unmasked Kane tied up. Kane gets pissed rips his ropes up to have Bray shocked in horror cowering. Then Harper and Rowen come in beat down Kane. Bray order's stronger restraints. So we will see this new Kane who is pissed off Bray fears. We will go on a bit more torturing and abusing from Bray to Kane and we have Kane continually snapping with Bray showing surprise and fear and disbelief each time. Then we have Kane on his knees with a bag over his head and Bray tries to get in his head again. To which we have that Hallway again with Bray and all of Kane's best moments with Bray laughing yelling "The demon is gone! Now it's time to destroy the uncontrollable Monster that is left within this man." Bray does Kane's traditional arms raise fire ensures victory pose but the lights go out. Bray is left looking around (like the last scene of blair witch project) just afraid not knowing what's going on. Then we hear Kane's old laugh (you know when he was unmasked and bald that type of evil sinister demented laugh he had?) to which then where those Kane lookalike's were standing now erupts Fire. The camera focus's on Bray just scared. Bray then see's two men in mask's laying on the floor ahead of him in sheep masks and Bray removes their masks to show it's Rowan and Harper. Bray start's to panic "No! No! No! How!? How are you doing this?! ANSWER ME KANE!" to which we then have emerging out of smoke and darkness past Kane's. Bray: "You're games won't do nothing to me Kane! I'M IN YOUR HEAD I CONTROL YOU NOW!" Kane laughs again. Bray backs away as the Kanes walk towards him. Bray stops and can no longer move back. Bray turns around and then back again to see the Kanes are gone. Bray laughs. Bray: "See Kane I can make you go away, I'm stronger than you, I am the eater of worlds, I am the devourer of the dead, I am the cult in which all will follow. I am Bray Wyatt and I have just killed you DEMON!" silence and darkness....a bright light lights up the room blinding Bray. Kane: "You are right the demon is dead" Bray see's a coffin ahead. He approaches it and opens it to see Kane's mask. Bray laughs then the coffin lid closes by it's self. Kane: "You should know Bray. Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Bray you have killed the demon but you have also resurrected the monster!” lighting hits. Bray is suddenly kneeling at a grave. Bray looks at the tombstone to see his name and the date being today. Bray is shocked scared. Bray is back in the room with Kane and Kane still has a bag over his head. Bray reluctantly takes the bag off Kane's head. We see Kane in a mask very similar to his debut mask in terms of colour scheme design. Bray walks back scared. Lightning hits again. Then we see a shadow of bray and kane and kane tombstones Bray. Kane show's his back to the camera and walks out of Bray's shed into rain. We then see the house explode. Kane has few weeks off tv not to be mentioned. Until one night. We get a video showing 3 sheep masks and Kane's old mask and then they get out on a fire. That night at a major world title match in a steel cage lets say AJ Styles v Randy Orton. Ref and the wrestlers get knocked down as part of the match. Then the lights go out. The turnbuckles explode with fire. To have the lights go back on in which then Kane picks Aj up and throws him out through the door of the cage. Then he picks Orton up and then throws him into the opposite end of the cage and Orton hits the cage wall and the wall comes off and hits the floor with Randy on it. Crowd is going nuts. Commentators mainly Ronallo is going mental! Like holy shit this is unreal some supernatural event. Kanes back with an impact! We will have a 3 way feud then Kane Orton Aj but Kane plays a lot of mind games on Randy coaxing Randy to bring the legend killer back to try and kill this legend. This new monster Kane will not talk by the way his actions speak. Oh don't worry Aj is not going to be free. Kane will play games with him too let's invoke it to be personal and have Kane seemingly stalk Aj and his family Kane can be like the bogeyman to Aj perhaps and Kane mocks Aj calls him a bad man and a bad dad and stuff. So we have Aj and Orton both pissed. Kane is there coming in randomly week in and out to play games with those two and not only that destroy and interrupt several matches. This pisses Shane and Bryan off very much so. Bryan goes out tries to stop Kane showing Kane their memories. Kane will be emotionless looking at Bryan and at the titantron with his head tilted. Bryan and the fans want to hug it out like old times. Kane want's none of it and vicously grabs Bryan by the throat and lifts him up ready for a chokeslam but then Shane comes out. Saves Bryan from a chokeslam by telling Kane to put him down he can not take it with his concussion's in his past and if he does that Shane will put him in the world title match. Kane puts Bryan down pushes Bryan towards Shane. Shane tells Bryan to leave the ring. Bryan leaves as Shane turns around he is met with a running big boot from Kane. Kane then lifts up Shane. Bryan gets on the mic. "STOP IT! KANE! THAT'S ENOUGH! YOU HAVE YOUR TITLE SHOT!" Kane still proceeds to hit the tombstone on Shane. Bryan looks on horrified. Kane then leaves the ring. Next week Shane is in a neck brace pissed at Kane tells him for putting his hands on the gm and comish he's revoked of the awarded title shot and is now suspended with no pay but surprise surprise Kane does not care and continues to show up and wreck havok with his continuous mind games on Orton and Aj. Aj and Orton both complain that it's not stopping him and they are pissed off at how Kane is getting away with it. Orton believes that Kane will stop soon as he has his title match. Kane gets his match at the next ppv. The match feels more like a handicap world title match with Orton and Aj going nuts on Kane they both put Kane through a table after hitting him with chairs and kendo sticks they think that's it for Kane. The two then break out in a fight. Aj hits styles clash on Orton but Orton kicks out. Aj picks Orton up signalling for a second styles clash to which Aj get's Rko'd outta nowhere! The ref counts to two then the lights go out and then back on to have Kane in the ring and delivers a double chokeslam to both men to which Kane then on his knee's pushes both their shoulders down to the mat with both hands. The ref counts to 3 as both were Pinned we have a new champion. I rushed it a bit but it's due to it being a long comment. I could go further into it where Kane loses title has last match at mania but eh this'll do as a basic idea.

Top 10 Avenged Sevenfold Songs!

Remember when i said i was done with list's?

Yeah i am not, as my good friend Annika suggested for me to do this list so shout out to her!

Now this list is all about A7X as you can gather from the gifs and title of this post. I'll name my 10 fave tracks and we'll rock out cool bro? Cool!

I used to be a big Avenged Fan when i was a teenager i have come off them a bit since their work after Nightmare album has so far not been too good but we will see if they pick up again. Before we begin their self titled album is my fave album followed by Nightmare so expect to see a bunch of those songs wind up here. No idea what else to say other than READ ON!

10: Beast & The Harlot

Great song to kick off my list and one of the most played songs by them aswell. It's the story of the fall of Babylon. The Harlot signed a deal with the devil to being as many to his side as she could, and demons were always with her. The devil and the harlot were the key to the fall of Babylon. When she finished her job, though, and returned to the devil, he then took her soul because everyone loses when they side with him over God. The end part is a quote "serve above or be a king below with us" Is loosely based on Paradise Lost, where they discuss the fall of Satan from heaven. He believed it better to be a king in hell than a servant in Heaven. Though once you're in hell, you're soul is forgotten and gone forever and you can never be redeemed.

9: Afterlife

Beautifully structured song in my opinion right from the start and i utterly love the bass track to this song it's killer! Straight from M.Shadows mouth. Afterlife is about a man who died but as he gets into his afterlife, he realises that there's too much stuff back on earth for him to do so he tries to escape from his afterlife.

8: Unbound (The Wild Ride)

What a song! It's about how when we go through life, we have to face many challenges, but here the person speaking says that he is willing to face them and live on. Also , time passes and we don't have a lot of time to full fill our goals.

7: Dangerline

When a7x wrote this song, they very well could have been writing from the perspective of a soldier (i tend to think so because of the drumline), but it can easily be taken as a metaphor for depression, suicide, or be related to by everyone who has fought their own war in life and coming home after it. A beautiful, well written song. The entire Nightmare album is a masterpiece.

6: Not Ready To Die

This is a wicked song it's sound is quite incredible i find and how they blended in with the cod zombies sounds also was wicked! The song appears to be written from the viewpoint of Dr. Richtofen. It's been confirmed by M. Shadows in an interview with Revolver that he did write the song about the Call of Duty Zombies storyline. The "evil" is the results of research on Element 115 which caused humans to be zombified. This research used to belong to Doctor Maxis. Richtofen killed Maxis and essentially stole his research (the "evil").

5: Bat Country

It is directly related to Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The Music video is actually made to resemble the movie. The phrase " Too Weird to Live but to Rare to Die was actually said about Hunter's long friend Oscar Zeta Acosta. If I remember properly this song was released after Hunter S. Thompson killed himself with a single bullet to the skull, hence the "My Hand is on the trigger, I'm ready to ignite". The Phrase at the beginning and closer towards the end "I'll make a beast out of myself, helps get rid of the pain of being a man" comes from Dr.Johnson's quote "He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man". This same quote is at the beginning of both the Book and the Movie. EXTENSIVE RESEARCH FOR THE WIN! I have also never seen the movie but i have heard this song quite a lot!

4: Shepherd Of Fire

The lyrics are based on the devil's intent to turn a person's life around for the better, and to prove he's better than the divine. These few lines give it away. See, I have pity in watching you suffer. I know the feeling of being damned alone. Well I can promise you paradise, no need to serve on your knees. Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption. Pardon your mind from the chains of the divine. It was said in an interview that this song was supposed to be "Like a roller coaster through Hell" by Shadows himself.

3: A Little Piece Of Heaven

Ah a loving tale of boy meets girl boy kills girl eats her heart commits necrophilia, girl comes back to life kills boy, two go to hell get married, hell breaks out on earth and everyone lives happily ever after naww sweet romance right? What else can i say for this song, it's fucked up, fun, funny, catchy and a good song quite frankly.

2: Nightmare

This is my most listened to song by the band and for it's overplayedness (it's now a word) on radio or tv music stations in the past it is not number 1 i know it's a bit odd but hey i utterly love all the songs i have wrote out here and assembling them was pretty tough but hey that's where i will leave off because i forgot where i was going to follow up with but anyway what's this song about? Drugs/Alcohol abuse? Nightmares? Bad trips? Depression? Suicide? Mental Health? Yeah it's about them all and i'm not quite sure again with what to follow up with but it's a great track you know despite me not liking the fact it was massively overplayed.

1: Carry On

What a song! One of my most listened to by the band, i know it's a surprise right to pick a song not on their albums but this is a fantastic song. Quite addicted to it and how catchy it is and how metal as fuck it is also and how it's message plays off. Shadows said himself; this song is obviously about carrying on through bad times, but he also said that the lyrics had a very special meaning directed towards the band and how no matter what they'll carry on as a team. The music video is also one hell of a creative video.

TOP 10 PANTERA SONGS

Oh boy has it been a while since i did a list and this list today i have compiled on the year anniversary of my first tattoo! THIS LIST IS ALL ABOUT PANTERA!

Although i will be publishing this blog later than August 25th 2016 because i am quite forgetful or am busy with other things but hey without further ado let's go to the great southern treadkill!

10: Revolution is my name

What a tune to kick off my list! I think Phil is talking about his life and saying that hes awesome because he worked to get where he is and that no one has the right to take it away from him, and that if you don't like him, fuck you. That message should apply to everyone if someone does not like you well fuck em. 

9: I'm broken

If you wish to make an entrance use this song guarantee to get everyone's attention. The song is about back pain that Pantera's vocalist Phil Anselmo felt. Phil Anselmo said "This is right when I started feeling the pain in my lower back, and it felt scary," says Anselmo. "I think this is one of the first times in my life, man, that I had this thing called 'vulnerability' kick in, and that was a very uncomfortable feeling." Anselmo adds, "I think that was really my first glimpse into kind of screaming to the world, 'Fucking... I am broken! Somebody fucking help me here!'" 

8: Drag the waters

In everyday life there's more than meets the eye, to reach the depths of truth we must drag the waters and holy fuck right!? That opener the cowbell the guitar then Phil stepping on a lego brick. YEEOOOOOOWWWW hahaha i made that bit up but stepping on lego and experiencing the pain is not a joke. First time i heard this i wanted to punch a wall and then jump off my bed and go through my light but nope i just headbanged like fuck. Dimebag Darrell has said that this song "is about a lifetime of dealing with people that you can't tell what they're really comin' at you for, or what their motives really are. You've got to drag the waters to get to the bottom and find out the truth.'"Drag the Waters" is a warning to the listener to always question other peoples' motives. In fact, the music video starts off with a warning by an unknown male voice that says 'In everyday life, there is more than meets the eye. To reach the depths of truth, we must drag the waters'. Many have suggested this song to be about the Green River Killer.

7: 5 mins alone

Fucking tune! It actually states on Wikipedia that this song was particularly about Anselmo being provoked by a heckler and told the crowd to basically beat the shit out of him (the heckler) as well as a couple more insults following that, later the band being sued, and the heckler's father calling the band manager and threatening "you just give me FIVE MINUTES ALONE with that Phil Anselmo guy and I'll show him who's 'big daddy' around here", later continuing with Phil's response "you just give me FIVE MINUTES ALONE with that cat's dad and I'll whoop his ass."

6: Hollow

What a fucking song it can make you cry stick your lighter in the air and then make you headbang like hell is breaking out on Earth. This truly shows the dynamic range the band has and that they can produce some of the most heartfelt metal songs you would ever hear. Phil Anselmo actually talked about the meaning behind this. His friend was fatally injured in a car crash and was on a life support machine, making him just a "hollow shell" He is singing about how he misses his friend, and that he is fucking mad at God for taking him. Such a sad song,you can really feel Phil's heartfelt emotion amazing song, incredible solo by Dime. Just after the solo i can always picture slipping into madness it's the effect that has you hear voices things are swirling round going down before we get back up and unleash our anger. 

5: This love

Vinnie has said that this song was about a relationship Anselmo had been in previously. "This Love was pretty much the story of a relationship he had been in, and he was really mad about it!" Sounds like the ultimate metal break up song right? The mellow groove sends me swaying side to side slowly until the chorus kicks in and we jump the fuck up and around and mosh like a bull in a china shop! 

4: Mouth for war

You gotta move to this shit and go nuts and sing with it. DETERMINED! Phil Anselmo stated in a 1992 interview on Much More Music, that "Mouth for War" is about channeling your hate into something productive. This is evident in the lyrics "When I channel my hate to productive/I don't find it hard to impress".

3: Cemetery Gates

It's hard to come across metal songs that are so heartfelt so powerful that will move not only your body but your mind, your heart, your soul! There's so many song's i'd like played at my funeral and this is one of them. Soon as it kicks in mind people won't be standing crying they will be having a wall of death a circle pit a mosh pit a pit pit you know they be going nuts. Shit gets real soon as it hits the "well i guess you took my youth" this song is a fucking beautiful masterpiece! The lyrics lament the death of a female lover and the prospect of dying or committing suicide and rejoining her in the afterlife. Phil Anselmo has credited numerous inspirations for the song. He stated in an interview in 1991 that the song was written about his good friends that had committed suicide. He also stated in a Ustream.tv live Q&A that "there was a friend who had died in NOLA and it had a real heavy impact within my group of friends. When I wrote the lyrics I did not want them to be too personal, because that can be cheesy. I also had to make sure that the lyrics would not take away from the song, because that was one of our best songs."

2: Cowboys from hell

The engine starts up that shiver goes down your spin and then BAM you're ears get caressed with the sweet metallic sounds of Pantera! Vinnie Paul had this to say about the meaning of the track - "Basically it was about us coming out of Texas and being out of place. People don't think of Texas as being a hot spot for heavy metal, they think of New York or L.A. or something like that, so it just seemed like an obvious concept for us." Basically you want to make a badass motherfucker entrance or impression walk into some place with this playing and act like you own it.This is the second Pantera song i ever heard. 

1: Walk

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Is my reaction to every time i hear this song. It's my jam! The first most listened to Pantera song i have heard by them. My cousin introduced me to Pantera 10 year's ago and this was the first song and it hit me, "WHY AM I ONLY NOW DISCOVERING THESE!?" Shivers were sent through my body the endorphins kicked off giving me such pleasure and euphoric feeling. It's like a drug this song! Fuck man Dime's solo it melted my face and my fucking ears the first time i heard it, Dime is one of those guys who can make a guitar talk i am fucking telling you and it's a fucking tragedy Dime is no longer present with us but we all miss him dearly. Phil Anselmo said that message of the song was "Take your fucking attitude and take a fuckin' walk with that. Keep that shit away from me". His message was aimed at friends that treated the band differently when they arrived home after touring for Cowboys from Hell. He said "they thought it had gone to our heads, like we've got this rock-star thing embroidered across our faces" Funny Fact: I thought the chorus lyrics were "WE SPIT WALK" for while after discovering them and yes it was hard to unhear but fuck yeah Pantera!!!!

Ok that is it folks,no more lists I'm retiring to put focus on other things. 

It sucks and I'm sorry but hey I did almost all the bands I love or listen to daily so that's an achievement accomplished.

The Clown Epidemic!

HELLO!

Clowns....where I live there's many clowns some wear orange skin and make up so bad you'd think of a terry's chocolate orange. Some don't even wear make up and they are clowns. Some have brains and some have brawn you don't see or hear of any at the crack of dawn. 

It's a joke but it's also Halloween soon. People have been doing the clown stuff for fun and others been doing it for some other reason but it's not all doom and gloom. Only when these clowns have hurt others is when caution should be taken. 

You may think your "IT" telling little Georgie we all float down here but what you fail to realise is the negativity your actions as a clown create. If your a clown be happy and lively. Entertain and cheer but not in a library. 

Any hoo Cindy Loo the positives of the clown apocalypse are that it has made those crazy people counting down the seconds til Xmas be quiet for once. 

In all my generations years we prepped for zombies and not for clowns. What's next for us,when will it end. Will the government go berserk and ban the clown trends? No I don't know I can only stop, think and speculate on the matter. What ever the latter.

Clowns don't want you to frown,they don't want you to drown,they are happy and lively except in movies when they all hide bodies. #haiku

Transformers Devastation PS4 Review: "Stylish,Repetitive,Fun!"

Transformers Devastation is so stylish,fun and repetitive but it manages to keep the spirit and good fun alive of Transformers with generation 1 for it's era and style being that of a comic book and possible shade style effect if i am also correct is ever so beautiful. 

You play as the Autobots as 5 different characters to choose from and some are unlocked later in the game, you race fast and battle furiously with enemies on the ground in the air and with enemies with combine and form bigger enemies. Seriously huge ones! With 7 chapters on offer in the game it's not a long one but that all depends on how difficult you find it and how many times you die. I died once and that was on the last boss. My fave character to play as was Sideswipe and i will also add i only played this through once! 

This free ps plus game is great and well worth the download. If you are a Transformers fan or not it has a lot to offer and because it is free i say everyone should give it a go. 

Customisation options,many characters to play as,trophies to be gained,collectables to be obtained and although i said there is repetitive brawler gameplay in place of this game i will also add that it features some other kinds of gameplay which makes it fun and fresh each time you progress. 

The game does not offer much other than single player and a challenge mode there is no online features but there is plenty of replayability on offer. The soundtrack is also adrenaline pumping it is simply epic! You would know when a boss fight would happen and you would know when you would need to break a sweat and get sum!

The game on it's easiest setting with me fully customising and levelling up my weapons it took me 3 hours and 45 mins to complete of all things. My shortest game completion ever i would say but was it a blast. There was also an after credits!

With all this in mind i would have to transform and roll out a 7 out of 10 it is a great fun game, it is short but it can offer you quite a bit back from replayability value. Free is great, so you got nothing to lose other than hours to have a blast transforming and stopping those Decepticons.

Top 10 Trivium songs.

Hello there and welcome back to my blog and another top 10 countdown of a band i love and of songs i also love by said band.

This time this is my penultimate list and i am tackling Trivium (Scrote). As winter approaches and on the year anniversary since silence in the snow album was released it feels right to take on Trivium.

Side note: Matt Heafy does follow me on twitter we have interacted in the past via dm's and tweets he is a cool as hell guy and i hope he is well and if he is reading this, yo what's up Matt!

10: A gunshot to the head of trepidation

Kicking off my list is one of my old mobiles alarm song's yes i had this song to wake me up a during high school. Did it work? Yes! This one is about abuse, it tells of your kids, your wife so it makes me think it's about a father or just different people who are abusive in this song and it's fear of it and wanting to end it all due to all the abuse. 

9: Black

Hell of a track and only at number 9 oh ho ho this is a tough list as you see. I believe this is a allusion to the Nietzsche quote, "When you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." I don't think the song has a literal meaning but rather is a description of some sort of hell or void. Perhaps that is a metaphorical void referring to madness or hatred it maybe just about depression or feeling like you are going insane. I don't really know, all i know is how to speculate a tracks meaning.

8: At the end of this war

A beautiful track here that always just blows me away by how it's put together and how it sounds. This i feel i more or less about war maybe a soldier who was on the front line came home has suffered the effects of war and is now talking about that and their experience's.

7: Watch the world burn

I feel that this song is about the world which is breaking in so many ways and people don't do anything to stop this destruction. So it feels like saving this world is a lost cause so let it burn as Trivium watch it go.

6: Silence in the snow

Now originally this was going to kick off my list but then i was like no i'm putting it higher up because this is an awesome track pure and simple well putting this list together was quite hard because i had conflicting thoughts on what deserves to go where and so i ended up basically putting this here at 6. The song is very visual in that you can imagine a snow setting with two warriors duking it out and well that is also where Matt said he had idea for it well besides touring with Heaven and Hell and meeting Dio years back.  "The title for "Silence" is derived from the Japanese story series of Suikoden, specifically the story of Yuki No Danmari. Yuki No Danmari can be translated to mean "Silence In The Snow." The actual art piece of Yuki No Danmari depicts two tattooed warriors dance-fighting in a snow setting. This was the piece that inspired the name for the song itself."

5: Villainy Thrives

Possibly the best song off of Vengeance Falls. This is about criminals who are set free and go on to attack all over again. Amazing lyrics and instrumental.

4: Built to fall

I wonder whether the lyrics "Built to Fall" sounding like "beautiful" is an artistic choice, or if it is coincidental. Anyway this track is amazing really powerful. It could be this track is hate for someone i believe maybe an ex lover as In Waves album is said to be all about personal experiences from which the band have had. I see this meaning making sense with the lyrics "I don't want to hate you, but how could I not? You killed off so much I held dear in my heart" so it seems to me like someone has hurt someone's family and friends and livelihood perhaps? And this one could perhaps easily be about a disease a virus you know from the bit about "You are the thing that's killing me,From the inside out, let me be"It's one i can only say so much about unless the guys opened up a bit more and explained this in full but i was not successful in tracking their own meaning down. 3: In Waves

Hell of a tune one of my faves by Trivium it hypes me up gets the adrenaline going if you are pissed off this helps a lot too. I think this song is actually about suicide. "Do I end this all for the world to see"= Suicide. "Do I take everybody else down,Everybody else down with me."= Hurting loved ones by taking your life. "I know that death approaches fast. What's the purpose if this life wont last?"= Life is short, so why not end it now? What do you think?

2: Down from the sky

Ah those days where i would put my xbox 360 on and sing this badly offkey straining my vocal chords playing wwe smackdown vs raw 2010. It is about the depths that man will go to to prove his power and control over others, about wars, about how we massacre and kill for no reason. Watch the video, there's lots of references to the Hiroshima bombing, and the phrase " We are the ammunition that will cause all life to cease,...annihilate, all those who stand in our way, obliterate...they'll rain their holocaust down from the sky" refers to the demise of all life that will most likely occur if we continue to live this way. Many say this one is about George Bush and i would agree to that! 

1: Anthem (we are the fire)

Number 1 is the first Trivium song i ever heard that made go "oh wow what is this?" it is one of my most listened to songs by the band and in the game Saints Row 2. The Anthem is a hell of an anthem. The songs all about well saying fuck the haters because you are better than them. Turn your backs on your enemies,And let those motherfuckers rot in their jealousy,We're all now a family, Together let's show the world what we say,We are the fire! Resound the anthem!

Honourable mentions: (been a while i think since i last die one.) Strife,Vengeance Falls, Blind leading the blind,Brave this storm,Chaos Reigns,Entrance of the conflagration, inception of the end,like light to the flies,rain,pull harder on the strings of your martyr and until the world goes cold. All were so close to making my list.
