Top 10 Dragonball Series Songs!

WE GOTTA POWER GUY'S! How are we doing? Hope you are all well!

This is a hell of an amazing topic I am covering with my all time fave anime series Dragonball. I am going to be picking my fave themes and instrumental's from dragonball, z, gt and super to make this list as SUPER as I Kaioken, ya see what I'm Saiyan?
Will I feature music that was featured in games? Sadly I will not be doing that BUT maybe next time. Will music from films feature? Yes.

Bardock's theme is so awesome like from the moment it kicks off you know this is about to get real.

It's only featured in Battle Of The Gods movie but my god was it such an epic song and scene that it stands out so much and deserves to be on any db music themed list.

Say what you want about GT but this song was beautiful and GT had some good moments too. Vic Mignogna

This song is so unexpected for a Dragonball theme I feel but my god it hits me in my feels everytime I love it!

Another one much like Usubeni and from Super. It's beautiful, emotional and hits me in my feels all the time and IT'S SO CATCHY!

A song all about Frieza which appeared in ressurection of F it's kickass!

When Gohan goes SS2 for the first time this song play's and its a beautiful yet powerful moment!

The epitome of badassary, the song fit for a Prince with Bruce Falconer making Vegeta's theme.

KA KA KA KACHI DAZE! From the opening this song is lit first time I heard it i perked up like holy shit what the fuck is this majestic piece of heaven I hear? It was the sound of awesomeness much like number 1!

First time I ever seen DBZ this kicked the show off and from the intro I was hooked I was like "by the beard of Zeus what is this magical music"

That's all folks for now anyways, perhaps i'll bring you another slice of a db list soon, stay tuned!

Let's Celebrate 80 Years Of Superman Action!

Hello there my friends, old readers, new readers how is everyone doing? Wait hold that thought what's that in the sky? Is it a bird? No it's a plane! No! IT'S SUPERMAN!

A couple of day's ago Action Comics hit Issue 1000 and it also marked the 80th birthday of The Man Of Steel himself Superman! DA DADA DA DA, NAH NAH NAH, DA DADA DA DA, SUPERMAN!
There's so much history and inspiring things of Superman to cover however I just want to warn you that I won't be able to cover it all, I aim to bring you a condensed sort of celebration on Kal El. Please comment or message me your fave memories or moments of Superman at anytime!

Superman, The Man Of Steel, Kal El, The Last Son Of Krypton, Supes, The Kryptonian, Clark Kent or as one Billy Batson exclaimed Big Blue Cheese. Whatever term you use to call him, Superman is a worldwide icon. There's a lot of hero's out there today that we can relate to him in one way or another be it for his origins, his powers, his heroic's, his personality or something else he is one of if not the most popular superhero's ever created. Superman may also be just a fictional hero but he's also a highly inspiring figure to so many people of so many generations, he's inspired people not just from his comic heroics but also from his animated, movie, tv and game outings. Supes is such an instantly recognisable character just remember he's the symbol of hope.
When did I first see Superman? I think I was introduced to him via Christopher Reeve and from watching Superman movie on tv with my grandparents back when i was like 5 or 6 similarly I was introduced to Batman and Spiderman when I was the same age but what hero came first? I believe it was Spiderman but I could be wrong. If anyone is wondering if I liked Man Of Steel, BVS or Justice League or Henry Cavill as Superman the answer to all of them is YES! I also want to add I loved the Superman animated series and Justice League Unlimited.
In recent years Supes popularity has decreased somewhat with the increase in interest of Batman that has sprung up over the past decade but unlike Batman, Superman can still find a way to relate to his audience on several levels. Of course many say Supes is over powered and yes if the writers wanted him to be OP they would do it but they do not, they balance it well and they always have.

In Man Of Steel he could have killed Zod when he first met him if he chose to but Superman does not go all out in his strength or powers because Superman puts on himself mental barriers he does not want to kill anyone he was not raised a killer, he knows on Earth and with his powers that Humans are such a fragile race compared to him. The only time Superman will go all out is when he is enraged or if a particular opponent's strength calls for him to use all of his might to defeat.
Now you may think when I say that Supes holds back that possibly he held back against the likes of Doomsday hence why he was brutally killed by him but I'd argue that Superman to start held back but when he realised how strong, how brutal just how evil and uncontrollable the destroyer is he had to unleash his best to match Doomsday. Doomsday has protruding bones which can cut and pierce the skin of a Kryptonian and due to the amount of punctures and blood loss Supes suffered during their epic battle of ages Supes managed to kill Doomsday but also died due to his injuries.

If you want to see a great example of Superman going all out I highly recommend you see Superman Vs The Elite it's one of my all time favourite Superman animated films and there's a scene where Supes loses it admits to himself that he basically can't go easy on them but also he toy's with The Elite, saying how he needs to kill villains he see's it now and he must start with The Elite and he beat them one by one and he made it seem like he killed Manchester Black's friends when in reality he had his robots teleport them to The Fortress Of Solitude to be stripped of their powers and put behind bars and by doing so Superman taught everyone that you cannot solve problems by violence or killing because it is not the right way for justice and that Supes way is best for mankind. It's such an epic moment and fight honestly it's a must see for all Super fans out there.
Superman has not always been this OP god that some see him as, back in the 1930s when he was first introduced he could only leap great distances and he could run super fast and was also super strong there was none of the he can fly, he can breathe ice, he can see via x ray vision nor heat blasts from eyes he had three powers in his introduction and that was that until his powers got expanded upon in the Silver age of comics. His past and powers are always changing up a bit every decade there seems to be something new with him just because he has been around for 80 years does not mean every mystery with him has been explored and explained just yet.
Not only is Superman such an iconic character but his allies and love interest are too! Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Martha Kent, Johnathan Kent, Perry White, Lara Lang, Cat Grant, Kara Zor El, Superboy and Krypto. You surely know all of these and you will know them for starring along side Superman although some of them don't actually fly alongside Supes or fight crime with him but you get my point that these characters and their interactions in and around the world of Superman have made them stand out and as iconic as our man of steel. All of these characters have changed along with Superman through the years too.
When it comes to other superhero's or playing in teams Supes is typically the one everyone looks up to as the leader and Supes also generally takes the younger superhero's under his wing and tries to be a father figure of sorts to them and Superman can generally connect with other hero's from this world and others with ease which not many can do. Obviously the most dynamic and interesting friendship Superman shares is with The Caped Crusader himself Batman. They have many things in common and many things not in common it's what has made their friend/enemy relationship such on and off over the years.

One way to measure a hero is via his villains and Superman's are one of the best most known in pop culture. Superman's arch nemesis is Lex Luthor who unlike the alien god is only a human who is really smart which is crazy right who would have ever thought one of superman's biggest threats would be a human. Lex and Supes have not always been enemies, they have been friends also. Other enemies of Superman you will know are Doomsday, Bizarro, Metallo, Brainiac, Atomic Skull, Cyborg Superman, Darkseid, General Zod, Lobo, Mister Mxyzptlk (god i hope i spelt that right), Toyman and Grundy to name but a few. Each of Superman's rogue gallery challenges him in different ways it's what makes them all unique.
Superman has evolved time and time again over the years and he's kept on up with modern society and the cultures of the world and all this has allowed him to sustain his popularity and relevance for such a long time and it no doubt will continue to do so for 80 more years and hell even longer, perhaps he will last forever only time will tell.

It's crazy to think words like Kryptonite are quite common place in modern society and it's all thanks to DC to Action Comics to Superman!
Thank you Action Comics, Thank you DC and Thank You Superman for 80 years of iconic, influential and inspiring moments, hero's, stories, characters and hell even villains because why not give them a thank you aswell because who else puts over the hero's willingly eh? ;)

Top 10 Song's That Make Me Cry! (I cri evrytim)

Alri? Been a while since I did a top 10 i know but whilst I was talking to my good friend James Davie on skype the other night he asked me what song's make me cry so I named a few and then I thought what if i make a top 10 list of this? So I challenged myself to do it and here it is! I hope you enjoy and hope you feel something to these songs as I do. CLICK ON THE NUMBERS TO LISTEN TO THE SONGS!

ONE SONG PER BAND.
I'll post the meaning of the song if I can think of one or if I can find one online.

There could only be one Disturbed song on my list sadly as I put in the rules mentioned above. This one from the first time I heard it had tears streaming down my face. David wrote this song as an expression of how he felt when he lost his Grandfather and his journey to cope with his loss.

Part 1 sounds like a general creep/stalker singing to himself about a girl he likes it has a dirty just gritty take music wise HOWEVER, Part 2 is not that part 2 is a beautifully structured track. The differences (between the two tracks) are subtle – 'Vermilion, Pt. 1' is about the enrapturing, the buildup, the anticipation and the neurosis," says Taylor. "'Part 2' is the aftermath, the pieces that have to be picked up later, and maybe the guilt of having lived through it.". Both songs are said to be about lost or unrequited love from a possibly suicidal person's perspective.

Simply put it's an emotionally painful song clearly about a breakup. In the video the boy is completely black and the girl is completely white. I think this is to prove that they are so opposite they can't make it work. And one of them realises this. Then at the end the girl cries a black tear because she wishes they could be together and she wants to be more like him but who know's the true story behind the song I have not found anything besides other's who think like me over the song being a break up song.

I like this cover much more than the original by Lynyrd Skynyrd because I find Shinedown's cover to be much more powerful and emotional. The first version of this I heard was the live version Shinedown did in 2009 I believe which they said before they started to play that it goes out to their friend Dimebag Darrell so that hit me because I am a big Pantera fan and I love Dime. It's one that hits me right in the feels.

Although it's not a sad song, it's one which I find is powerful musically, lyrically and emotionally. If I have not heard this in a while I do tear up and cry. Jared Leto explained to Musicradar.com that this song very nearly didn't make the album. He said: "Actually, we were going to throw this song out, but we decided to keep it. It was hard to mix, a total pain in ass, but I'm glad it made the record because I think it fits in with the overall framework of the album. The song is a mission, an adventure that takes you on a journey. Maybe that's why it gave us so much trouble: We had go on an adventure as a band to get it right. Some songs come very easily and other ones fight you. Oftentimes, the ones that give you trouble turn out to be the best ones - this is an example of the latter."

This is a powerful song sometimes it does not get me I admit but when I sit there and think and listen to the lyrics it always does get me. Life for sure isn't easy or simple. So whether it means moving on in life or moving on through death, it's important for us to know that this is life, and if it hasn't happened to you already, it will and that's what I think this song is about and represents.

Powerful and raw is this tune! I think of my parents and family when i hear this... because it seems like I'm never good enough for any of them... no matter how hard I try. I think this song overall is all about a guy telling his family that he is sorry for everything that happened, but he also can't forgive them for what they did to him. He wishes that things didn't happen the way they did, and asks if they could start over, would anything change? He is vividly telling the listener that abuse is real, and instead of ignoring it, one should talk about it and try to bring peace to all who were involved. It's a very powerful song, and can not go unnoticed.

Zzyzx Rd. is a love song written to Taylor's wife for helping him in his struggles against alcoholism and contemplation of suicide and omg is it a beautiful and emotional track that gets me choked up every time.

This one since the first time I ever heard it always makes me cry and think of my grandfather. According to lead singer Issac Slade the song was composed and influenced by his experience while working as a mentor at a camp for troubled teens: He was asked about it in an interview and this is what he said “One of the youngsters I was paired up with was a musician. Here I was, a protected suburbanite, and he was just 17 and had all these problems. And no one could write a manual on how to save him.” Slade also says that all the people who tried to help the kid were unsuccessful. And that is what the song is about. As Slade says in an interview, the boy's friends and family approached him by saying, "Quit taking drugs and cutting yourself or I won't talk to you again," but all he needed was some support. The boy was losing friends and going through depression. He lost his best friend and could not deal with it.

Every single time this plays the tears come streaming down my face it's unbelievable how powerful and emotional this song is. This Song Is About Amy Lee Who Lost Her Sister At A Young Age also so I'm not sure what is sadder the song or the meaning behind the song. It's my number one what else is there to say about this.

BONUS: Brick By Boring Brick - Paramore, Jet City Woman - Queensryche & Everlong - Foo Fighters (These makes me sad time to time because of an ex gf and yes I know how pathetic of me to say such a thing.)

ANOTHER BONUS: Through Glass - Stonesour & Disturbed - Sound of silence.

So that's all sorry for such a depressing, emotional list today but it's good to cry every now and then. Good for our eyes and good for the soul. Thanks for reading :)

When Will We Get GTA 6? Theory!

With the massive success of GTA 5 Online when will we see another Gta spinoff or Gta 6? I think it's safe to assume that Rockstar has plans for a next gen release of GTA 6 however spin off or remaster wise, I think a remastered 4 may come out before the end of the ps4 or a possible new spin off but I'm just guessing.
Rockstar is still taking cash and pumping out new content for gta online besides that they are working on Rdr 2 so they are quite busy with things as they stand right now but will they stop releasing gta online content when red dead is out? I don't think so. I think we will see a drop in gta online players but Rockstar will still give them something to hogtie the gtao community to their game.

GTA 6 has some big boots to fill. Not only was GTA 5 a critical and commercial success on its release, but it has now become the most profitable entertainment product of all time. According to Money Watch, GTA 5 has raked in $6 billion since its release in 2013, selling a whopping 90 million units. That money out sell's any film, book, music record or other video game. To put it in perspective, one of the highest grossing films ever Avatar only made half of that figure.

I'm thinking we won't be hearing anything regarding a brand new gta until 2020 with a release coming a year or two after that possibly.

I'd love to go back to one Gta location the most and that is Vice City but i'd also love another GTA London game. I'd love to have another spin off besides a GTA 6, maybe a game set in another decade in some other new city. We need another breath of fresh air delivered into the gta series I feel.
If we get a spinoff game in another decade I'd like it to be solely single player because I'm not a fan of the chaotic madness that is gta online and it wouldn't even matter if a gta game had online or not. The gta franchise always does amazingly well in the games industry, so they wouldn't be losing on much besides the dreaded micro-transactions but who cares for them anyway.

Would I like gta 6 or a spin off to focus on one character or more? I'd say one character, don't get me wrong 5's main characters were amazing, I loved them all but let's go back to basics on the next one as they could branch out a lot more and with the focus being on one character maybe people will feel more connected to he or she.
Speaking of which in our current climate of political correctness should the next gta main character be male or female? Should we the player get a choice? I would not mind either gender to be the main character in the next game.

I know no matter the choice there's going to be an outcry among some people out there, against the typical kind of thing happening where the game will be too violent and parents will want it banned for that or for being so sexual or for this or that. Every gta always gets shouted at for this or that with every release because you have to think of the children when it comes to playing 18 games. I mean what if a three year old walked in and seen someone paying for a lap dance while shooting the cops and robbing a car? I mean come on, think of the children here. Children should not be playing 18 games but hey I'm saying that even though when I was a child, I played 18 games for years from mortal kombat to gta to God of war etc etc its a long list of awesomeness and I turned out fine.
So what ever Rockstar is planning you can certainly bet on GTA 6 being released on next gen consoles and you can also bet it's gonna be an even bigger map as the disc space will no doubt be expanding in the future allowing more code, more data to accompany a big technological advancement in the games industry with GTA 6.
