Top 10 Boxing Movies!

We're gonna fly now! Because we have raging bull's, steel fighters, hurricanes and four sided rings with big leather fists a flying around it.

What follows is a list based off my opinion of my favourite boxing movies in a top 10 format and this list is not definitive as it may be changed and updated later down the line. 

10) Raging Bull - First of all let' have a moment of silence for the recently passed Jake LaMotte the boxer who's life story is based on the film raging bull....This film is really good it's one of DeNiro's best films and one of the best boxing films. This boxing drama is a fascinating character study centred on an aggressive, insecure man overcome by intense jealousy and paranoia. While shooting "The Godfather Part II", Robert DeNiro found himself reading the book "Raging Bull: My Story", based on the life of 1950's middleweight boxer Jake LaMotta. It was a story he felt very passionate about bringing to the screen. 

9) Ali - Ali had a truly remarkable life and he was an out of this world character who wreaked of charisma and this film is soaked full of charisma and entertainment from the quick witted and well acted Will Smith. I enjoyed this film. 

8) The Fighter - What happens when you watch a boxing film with two of your fave actors in the lead role? You enjoy it! The film works best in the moments that feel very real and often have a great, realistic sense of humour. Only the last act follows the traditional sports drama path a bit too predictably. Overall the result is still highly entertaining and engaging, mostly thanks to the good writing and the stellar performances.

7) The Hurricane - I had heard the song of "Here's the story of Hurricane, The man the authorities came to blame, For somethin’ that he never done, Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been, The champion of the world!" i know and love this Bob Dylan song before i heard or seen the film so when i did see the film i was entertained and gripped. There's no denying it's powerful stuff, which, for want of a better phrase, really packs a punch which is carried so well by Denzil. 

6) Southpaw - A powerful different kind of boxing film which starts out really tough to watch it's devastating but the last half was a bit rushed however i still really enjoyed this film and Jake's performance is top notch. 

5) Real Steel - Now i love this film and have seen it a handful of times and the last fight always gets me pumped up and it's a shame the result of the last fight did not go the way i wanted it to but still i'd love to see more Real Steel. All actors and cgi and robots were amazing. 

4) Creed - The most recent entry to the list but one thing you can not fault about the Rocky film series is that the fights are always nail biting, even if some of the results will feel like bs but Creed was great. 

3) Rocky - Meet the man who refuses to duck and dodge in his first outing on the big screen. As a kid anything before the fight use to send me to sleep ahaha but overall it's a underdog story done well and went on to be a huge success and the behind the scenes story is as interesting as the films story. 

2) Rocky 3 - Hulk Hogan and Mr.T and Rocky in the same film together?! Waaaaat? Yes this is a fun film i thought i have not seen this in years mind you so i may or may not think differently but right now from my memory i liked this one for the crazy bad guys Rocky faced who are also familar faces and the fights were good too. 

1) Rocky 4 - Admittedly this was the first Rocky film i seen and it was on Tv and prior to the film i had heard a lot of "THE BEST FILM EVER!" "MUST SEE" this and that and well god damn it lived up to that hype. Ivan was a proper bastard and to see him kill Apollo even the first time when i did not see the other Rocky's it had me like "Jesus christ this is nuts, what a dickhead Ivan is!" and the fight was really fucking good between Rocky and Ivan and it had me on the edge of my seat just shouting at my tv like it was happening live "GO ON ROCKY KICK HIS ASS!" "FUCK HIM UP ROCKY FUCK HIM UP!" etc yeah i was so into the fight and it was not just the boxing it was the drama and how gripping the film was and i have to add THE MUSIC. The music within the rocky films as a whole are amazing some really great iconic tracks there.

Top 10 Sitcoms!

It ain't half hot mum but this list is. So hi de hi to you all!

Today i will be counting down the list of my fave top 10 sitcoms. 

This topic was suggested by Louis Evans so shoutout to him and a big thanks to him also. 

This list was so tough to make but i have just finished it and it'll do for this point in time as my list is always changing since i love so many sitcoms and there's always new ones coming out so you know. 

Ok this is it. 

At number 

10: Porridge

It's a show about The prison life of Fletcher played by Ronnie Barker, a criminal serving a five-year sentence, as he strives to bide his time, keep his record clean, and refuses to be ground down by the prison system. It ran for 4 years on the BBC channel and is such a hilarious classic show that it's still remembered and aired in the uk to this day. 

9: Father Ted

Crazy sitcom about 3 priests and their housekeeper who live on Craggy Island, not the peaceful and quiet part of Ireland it seems! It ran for 3 years on and off and had 25 episodes and it's comical humor is still great today, as i can always find it being rerun late at night on tv and rewatch and laugh as if it was the first time i am seeing it. Classic. 

8: Mr.Bean

Life is a difficult challenge for Mr Bean, who despite being a grown adult, has trouble completing even the simplest of tasks. Thankfully, his perseverance is usually rewarded, and he finds an ingenious way around the problem. Mr.Bean started in 1992 and has always bean one of my fave characters and shows despite not much diologue taking place the character is so hilarious with his actions and situations he gets into and the things he does. Mr.Bean has had animated series, live action series, 2 movies, countless sketches for charity and Rowan Atkinson still does bean things today of course. The character is not retired or anything just he has breaks before we see him pop back up again in these days. Such a classic show and character though not much else i can say other than BEAN COMEBACK! You know the intro was always weird to me when he'd fall down from a spotlight the angelic choir made me think oh he fell from heaven its just a joke then another thing makes me wonder is what if he got abducted by aliens and is now this stupid man of what he used to be lol People have often talked about Mr.Bean as if that it's cruel this program and character is because it makes the audience laugh at a differently abled man when it should not be the case. I dont know about that or laughing at him because the character is handicapped as people put it but i just laugh because it's funny because it's mr. freakin bean and he is just made up and a hilarious character written perfectly. 

7: Scrubs

In the unreal world of Sacred Heart Hospital, intern John "J.D" Dorian learns the ways of medicine, friendship and life and death. I don't want to class this as strictly a comedy even if most aspects of it are comedic but it's also very dramatic too. I love scrubs the characters the writing the people the lessons and music and actors all blend in perfectly well and i love them so much. Some episode make me roll on the floor in laughter and others make me sit in bed crying eating pizza. That's the power of scrubs. The series after 8 was terrible by the way enough said there. 

6: Fawlty Towers

DON'T MENTION THE WAR! Hotel owner Basil Fawlty's incompetence, short fuse, and arrogance form a combination that ensures accidents and trouble are never far away. John Cleese is so amazing so funny this is what makes the series great just his character's relationship with everyone and his interactions especially him and Manuel's relationship. Classic show. 

5: Blackadder

For this i include all of the seasons of Blackadder and not just season 1 since the different seasons and movie have different names and time era's of which they are set in. Blackadder is home to so many iconic cult moments, characters and quotes. All i have to say is Baldrick and no doubt some of you out there will know what i mean and yes i do mean the character but no doubt you will have a fave moment in mind or quote. 

4: Friends

10 years 236 episodes friends is the tale of a bunch of friends who live in Manhattan and tells the tales of their comedic lives quite frankly this is all it's about it's such a classic i have seen every episode at least three times growing up. 

3: Only Fools & Horses 

Classic comedy following the misadventures of two Wheeler Dealer brothers Del Boy and Rodney Trotter who scrape their living by selling dodgy goods believing that next year they will be millionaires. So many classic scenes characters and quotes such a loveable and iconic series. 

2: Red Dwarf

The adventures of the last human alive and his friends, stranded three million years into deep space on the mining ship Red Dwarf. Iconic classic one of my fave series and it's still ongoing too its a cult classic. 

1: The Simpsons

The Simpsons is an animated sitcom about the antics of a dysfunctional family called the Simpsons (surprise surprise). Homer is the oafish unhealthy beer loving father, Marge is the hardworking homemaker wife, Bart is the ten year old mischievous underachiever , Lisa is the unappreciated eight year old genius, and Maggie is the cute, pacifier loving silent baby. Spanning almost 30 seasons 1 movie and has run for almost 30 years with multiple comics,dvds,vhs,games all about the simpsons its a massive cult icon in the world today everyone knows of it and will no doubtly be in everyone's list some way shape or form when making their own surely. Classic series and it's no surprise it would be in the top spot.

Right oh so friends have been causing shit with friends and some friends have gone from friends to no friends.

A certain girl friend not gf a girl who is a friend you know anyway right she's so called happily in love with this guy and yet she keeps asking me almost every god damn day how my friend Dan is after the two had a falling out a while back ok. I and everyone for that matter believes she fucking loves him right!? RIGHT!? SHE FUCKING DOES!? yet oh no no no she does not and she is so god damn happy with her boo boo boo. FUCKING CUTIE TALK DOES MY SWEDE IN! FUCK UP MUN! YOU ARE NOT A PARENT AND DO NOT POSSESS A NEWBORN CHILD OR A PUPPY OR KITTEN SO FUCK UP YA CUNT! FUCK RIGHT UP! NO NEED! I'm gonna take a chill pill.......wo,,,,,,,,,,rks...........................................................fine...........................ok back to the dealio. Ok so two "friends" have recently turned on one of their best and closest friends in Lou and they were slagging him off so much and drawing shit about him and ok ok ok i basically was also annoyed at them for keeping up with this petty shit so i went and told Lou what the fuck they were saying and doing and all hell broke loose! I was blamed for slagging off people i did not slag off. I was blamed for one tiny boys life problems when i did not do shit. Not my fault you cant reach the top shelves mate. (NO disrespect to any little people you guys are cool and this guy is 5"8 ok and he is a total cunt that is all.) Of course one of them right he is tidy and apologetic but christ you can not trust him i lot my trust with him i wanted him just him to come out ok and he brought a bunch of twats no one likes with him who always start shit. I was like really what don't you understand ffs...

A school best friend and me had a falling out over me calling him out on his scumbaggery using women and playing with their emotions and stringing them along altogether and he said "get your head out your ass" and that was oh nearly a month ago and only things he has said to me since are "you out for pint?" nothing more. Bonk eyed scum.I did see him the other night he was avoiding talking to me and when i confronted him on our argument he said "sorry buht i drink a lot and i forget".

I do find it hard to say no at times. I don't want to disappoint people. If i say i don't want to go to something can you leave it at that unless i change my mind? I am sorry i do not wish to give a crappy excuse or anything i just want to say the truth but some people do not listen and they beg and guilt trip and shit. I thought i was done with that crap in the past looks like it's coming back. In all honesty sometimes i actually mean it yes i am on the dole yes i have some funds but also i have bills to pay you know. I can not make everything i am sorry but it's true.

Wrestling world now...

Finn Balor won it the universal title and then sadly have to give it up in 24 hours i was happy and then upset. Kevin Owens has now won it (as of time of writing this blog) and i am so happy he has won it. 

Tna has a new president with Billy Corgan. Good stuff there. Tna are heavily running on the engine of the broken hardy's.

Other stuff.....

Robot Wars came back.....it was ok i have problems with it and things i want back from the old series but yeah it was an ok series had some good moments.

Getting a new tattoo soon. 

Was thinking of having a paw print tat on my foot aswell but i don't know people have said oh that will be painful or stupid and i have been like yeah you might be right there. Took a friggin year for me to decide what tat to get though.

Lists are going again haha did a lot in a few days how is that for a return? Completed a POVA course. Completed modern warfare 1. Summer was ok. I seen monster jam in the principality stadium was wicked. Finished writing my fanfiction attack on titan story.

Finished Gurren Laggann. Pretty good anime series however it did go down hill after episode 9 i felt however it did have some good moments after episode 9. Pokemon movie 1 still is good. Recently rewatched it. 

What would Brian Boitano do if he had facebook?

Deadman wonderland's main character looks like a teen is voiced by a 40 year old yet sounds like a 6 year old? yeah this is annoying terrible voice. An ok series. Expected it to be much more better but nope. 

Johnny Yong Bosch is a wicked voice actor not that i or anyone did not know that.

Finding dory was not as bad as i thought it would be i actually laughed at a few parts.
