The Epiphany Of Idiocy (Original poem/song lyrics)

Push when you pull, fall when you rise,
It's the same thing as wearing a disguise,
You can't hide from your folly's of man,
Send in the clown, we are all stuck in a frown,
It's rich, it's pure, to laugh as others expense,
Smile through the pain, it's funny that way,

To be an idiot is to do without thought,
Act with no brain, Forget what you've been taught,
You'll offend and harm without consequence,
You'll pull on push doors, you'll forget your belt,
You'll hang loose with no cares in the world,
An empty scarecrow, a tin man, a cowardly lion,
It's what you share common ground with,
To be an idiot is to act without thinking,

Offence slips out, the people are displeased,
You won't care, lashing has rushed passed your ears,
You wouldn't know what manners are, even if they hit you in your face,
What are you to fear, everything you touch ends in disaster,
You run around thoughtless, unleash your headless chicken,

To be an idiot is to see if you can fit in a tight space,
You'll get stuck and stay there until you're wedged free,
Stop licking your elbow, stop standing in the middle trying to keep your balance,
Don't ask the obvious, don't be so messy, be considerate for others,

Of course how can you be expected to do this,
How could anyone expect any of this business,
Look at me i'm talking to an idiot, I had a realisation once,
What if i'm the idiot, am i the idiot, is the idiot me,
What if i'm not an idiot, what if the idiocy is me?,
