NO this list is not about Clint's wonderful directed films but the films he has been the star in. Now this is just my personal opinion and i have not seen all the films with Clint in.

5) Dirty Harry - The only Harry Callahan film i have seen it's a good film with the iconic Punk speech in so you know not to fool around here and i so wish we had the Dirty Harry game oh well. This role was supposedly for Frank Sinatra.
4) A Fistful Of Dollars - This is a hard-hitting item, ably directed, splendidly lensed, neatly acted, which has all the ingredients wanted by action fans and then some. The first of the GBU trilogy.
3) A Few Dollars More - A significant step forward from A Fistful of Dollars, with the usual terrific compositions, Morricone score and a tremendously good sequel, on top of being a tremendously good movie in and of itself - surely the best Italian Western at the time of its release.
2) Gran Torino - Seeing the new inclusive Clint shows an old dog can learn new tricks. But like Walt himself, I can't help but prefer Dirty Harry to Caring Clint any day. Still a great film overall and like any on my list a must see.
1) The Good, The Bad & The Ugly - A film i have seen 6 times in total of my whole life it's so gripping and it's musical score is just amazing like its out of this world so good and this film,music and cast are all iconic. Watch it if you have not! It's one of the best films ever made!
Honourable Mentions.
I have seen all these films but i thought it would be odd to make a list called "Top 8 Clint Films" so i narrowed it down to 5 to make it more rounded and grounded....and i am an Outlaw now ya dig punk?
Unforgiven - Now i didn't particularly like this one as much as i should of i think it's Clint's weakest western i have seen and i know "Oh but you've not seen them all" yeah well from the ones i have seen this is weak.
Hang Em High - I have not seen this in a while but it is good revenge flick that is a good watch so watch it buster!
Space Cowboys - Another film I have not seen this in a good few years but i remember enjoying it very much with it's great cast blasting this film into my list's honourable mentions you know its good!
Films i have not seen with Clint in, that i plan to watch are as follows; The Outlaw Josey Wales, Million Dollar Baby, Sudden Impact, The Enforcer, The Deadpool and Magnum Force.
