Power Rangers 2017 Review & Sequel Fan Casting

So Saban's Power Rangers 2017 movie is out in cinema's and it's a freaking amazing film!
*****Warning there will spoilers past this point*****

I loved the emotional attachment you get from each ranger and i will say it Billy was the best i thought.

Power Rangers 2017 puts a modern twist on the nostalgia of the 90's mighty morphin phenomenon and makes it something new for old and new audience's to enjoy with the rating being 12A in the uk it's obvious not everything in the film is kid friendly but you know fans will love this darker take on the series and on the characters we all know and love from the 90s.

The soundtrack is quite amazing too.
Alpha is funny.  Zordon start's out being a selfish individual who later has a change in attitude and respect in his new ranger team.

The reboot film is certainly one which will make everyone cheer and be like "omg yes" and have moments where you will want to cry.

The film is not a masterpiece i have some points i'm not fussed on like Trini could have used a bit more character development as she is mostly seen and not heard for a chunk of it.

Bulk and Skull character's were not in it either i believe which is not entirely world breaking because Bulk and Skull were more comic relief but there was a bully in the film and i am not sure if he was a combination of both characters but when the headbutt scene happened it was funny.

Goldar sure if he was a lot more like he was in the tv series it would have been better but i did like him. The cameo's were wicked but i wish they said something more than took pictures.

How the red ranger got a power sword was left unexplained so was the megazord forming but you know i am sure the deleted scenes or someone behind the scenes will fill us in.

So i would give the film a Mighty 8/10.

Now onto the second part of this blog fan casting and my wishlist for the sequel.

Lord Zedd!
Ok so he was going to be in this one as a little cameo ala getting skin burned off via zeo crystal but he did not make his appearance in the first one but the sequel come on ol radiator face has to appear in it. I would like him to be menacing and scary and not be entirely cgi either. I would love for him to be played by Willem Dafoe. His menacing portrayal of Green Goblin always sticks to mind when i think of menacing villains.

Tommy Oliver!
Yes he was mentioned in the end credits. So he will be in the sequel no doubts BUT the cast and director have been saying they want a female green ranger BUT they had a female green ranger in the intro to the first movie and they can't just change Tommy to a girl now can they? I would be up for a evil green ranger to face the team as long as Tommy gets the coin is poisoned by it's powers maybe take it like a lord of the rings one ring deal so that it corrupts poisons peoples mind and Tommy is to be revealed as having a pure energy within him so the rangers take Tommy to the base and to Zordon and Alpha to heal of the corruption poisoning Tommy so the coin falls out of Tommy's pockets when the rangers take Tommy to the command centre and some girl finds the coin maybe Tommy's sister let's call her Tammy Oliver finds the coin and picks it up and then get's changed as there's an evil within her as she is a bully in school and she get's changed and becomes a ranger, the evil green ranger. Who goes around the town destroying and threatening people. The rangers get alerted and go confront her. Zordon and co think's Rita is back but it's not the case well not yet. So Tommy get's his white power ranger upgrade as the rangers are struggling to defeat Tammy the green ranger. The rangers get sent an upgrade by alpha who reveals the rangers all get their own special weapons and zordon reveals the only way to beat her is to use the combined powers and use the power blaster. The rangers use the power blaster to damage Tammy badly. The visor is broken and the rangers can see who it is clearly it's Tammy Oliver. The rangers having known who it is then back down refusing to fight her. Tammy say's "Oh so now you don't want to fight me?! Fine i will now kill you all with ease!" as Tammy sends a powerful wave of evil green energy to the rangers damaging them all but then a white light of energy is teleported down to protect the rangers from another wave of energy from Tammy. Tammy magics up a new visor to protect her from the bright white light that is before her eyes. A white ranger appears as the bright white light fades away. The rangers are wondering who this stranger is. Tammy say's: "Ooh a new challenger, you picked the wrong colours to wear because i'm about to make you red with your own blood!" Tammy in her green ranger form runs towards the White ranger with a sword of darkness whilst White ranger raises his hand to the sky to magically summon the sword of saba. The white ranger quickly slashes the rushing green ranger who then sparks and falls down on her knees, the white ranger goes infront of the green ranger. Tammy: "Well played you are quite a foe,now finish it." white ranger: "I refuse!" Green: "Where is your honor? Kill me! You have your chance, you have won the fight." White ranger: "I fight for justice and all that is good, i know there is good within you so i am granting you mercy in wish for you to have a second chance. You are a ranger and rangers are good so be one with us come see Zordon and he will make you pure again." Green start's laughing hysterically and says: "Zordon?! Is this his doing you all bend to his will? Pathetic! All of you! This world! Everything is below me and its all pathetic! I am the green ranger i am the most evil being on this planet and i will not yield to such pathetic beings!!!" Green summonds a metal dragon machine from the ground in which she climbs aboard of and the white ranger tells the other rangers to stay back and regain their energy until they are ready to fight again. The white ranger calls upon the power of Saba from the morphin grid and gets summoned a huge white tiger zord. The green and white clash in their zords in a very ferocious battle. White ranger leaves the cockpit of his zord and is able to control the zord with saba and he see's and opening and the white ranger leaps and destroys the cock pit of the green zord and lands on the ground with the green dragon zord which explodes in a ball of fire thanks to the immense power of the white ranger. The rangers cheer for the white ranger and ask who he is. But before white puts his visor down the green ranger is seen behind the white coming out of the wreckage of the dragonzord. Green: "YOU! YOU MONSTER! You destroyed my pretty zord!" White turns around and see's that green has no helmet now and her armour is badly damaged as Tommy realises the green ranger is his sister Tammy Oliver. Tommy: "Tammy! Stop! It's me!" Tommy's visor goes down as Tammy stops and realises her brother is the white ranger. Tammy: "Brother?!" Jason: "Tommy is that you?" Tommy turns around reveals his face to the rangers who can't believe it. Tammy: "So zordon brought you to his hokey religion too huh brother?" Tommy: "So the coin corrupted you too?" Tammy: "The coin tells me you could not handle its power unlike me." Tommy: "Hey Tam listen to me you got to give the coin to me please its for your own good." Tammy takes the coin in her palm and goes to give it to Tommy. Tammy: "Help me Tommy this power is too much its made me be someone else, it's not good. I have something to do but i am not sure if i could do it..." Tommy: "It's ok sis, do it for me please....if not me then do it for mom!" Tammy smirks and puts the coin back in her morpher belt and quickly teleports behind the rest of the rangers throwing Trini into a tree, Kicking Zack into a bill board, Throwing Billy into a garage and punching Jason into a shop. Tammy has her dagger around the throat of Kimberly. Tammy: "I know how you feel big brother, these friends of yours are nothing but trouble and they or you or zordon can not save you from the darkness that is coming for this planet! The great evil is there in the sky coming down slowly to get you." Tommy: "Tam! Stop this! Now! Put the dagger down and leave my friends alone, come face me!" Tammy: "Ah you see there is only one way out of this and that is by you killing me brother! You wont do it though, because before you get the chance to i will have killed all your friends so come and stop me!" Zordon:"Tommy that is not your sister she is too corrupt by Rita's coin you have to stop her you are the only one who can do it use the power of saba!" Tommy: "I can't! I won't do it!" Alpha: "Tommy please this is not your sister here!" Tommy:" MOVE!" Kimberly stamps on the feet of Tammy and moves away as Tammy gets blasted by the saba sword. Killing Tammy instantly. Tommy: "It's done, i'm sorry sis" Zordon: "I am sorry you had to do that Tommy but you saved your team's lives and the lives of many more around the city and the world, thank you". Tommy: "Kim go help the team!" Kim runs off to make sure the rest of the team are ok. Tommy crouches over Tammy's lifeless body and says "I'm sorry i could not help you" Tammy comes back alive gripping tommy's neck and say's in a unearthly voice. "You were warned of my arrival and now here i come!" before Tammy's body goes limp and lifeless again. Tommy and the rangers look up to the sky as we zoom up outside the earth to see a ship land on the moon and we cut to see Zedd looking on to the earth as we fade to black and hear Rita laughing.

Who should play Tommy Oliver?
Josh Hutcherson maybe someone as young as the cast and this guy came to mind i think he could pull it off, he has franchise experience too with hunger games.

That is all i have for you today, thanks for reading as ever. Peace out rangers!

Top 10 Power Rangers Seasons!

Here is the list the final list dedicated to the power rangers of which i have been ding a short series of but this is the one i am choosing to end it with.

Don't worry more power ranger content may come after this just when is the question and don't know is the answer.

This list is based on my opinions and will feature notable information from the series for you all to read aswell.

10: Power Rangers Zeo
Zeo introduced all-new Ranger costumes for the first time, a pattern that would repeat each subsequent season, in keeping with the Super Sentai source material. The first season to not feature Billy Cranston in every single episode. It's also the last season to feature him. The first season with a Green Ranger on the core team, as opposed to being a Sixth Ranger, in this case, Adam Park. The first season to have a second-in-command Blue Ranger, in this case, Rocky DeSantos. This is the first series that ends with the Rangers' powers and arsenal almost intact. Neither the Zords, nor the weapons, nor the base powers themselves, were destroyed. Only the Zeo Jet Cycles were. As it stands, Zeo is the only season so far to hold this distinction, as every other season features at least part of the arsenal destroyed, be it weapons or zords, or the team retiring at the season's conclusion.  It's the first season to feature a Ranger (Gold) whose identity is not known to Zordon. It's the first season to have a person (Jason Lee Scott) who had formerly voluntary retired from the team come back full-time, as opposed to just a guest appearance. The second and only other time so far is in Dino Thunder, with Tommy Oliver. This was the first series to feature an appearance by at least one Ranger from the previous incarnations. This trend would continue all the way up to Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Zeo was a great series but i sadly remember more stuff from the comics that were released than watching the series as a kid. You know i have watched a few episodes in recent years and my fave ranger in the series is Gold Ranger since his powers and zord and his theme song are just amazing frankly. The series had a good story but you know as i said i dont remember every single bit of it.

9: Power Rangers Dino Thunder
This season is the second to have a dinosaur theme. This is the only season to have four members on the core team as opposed to five. A soccer player, computer expert, a musician, and a science teacher join forces to become Power Rangers and help save the Earth from mutant dinosauric beings that wish to eradicate all human life and return Earth to the age of the dinosaurs. In this season, Tommy Oliver, of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Turbo fame, returns as a palaeontology professor in Reefside, California. When he is assigned three detention students, Conner, Ethan, and Kira, they end up finding the Dino Gems, paving the way for them to become the Dino Thunder Power Rangers. It was a good season, it paid homage a lot to MMPR and i loved seeing Tommy again being his usual badass self and i loved the white ranger in the series he had such a cool design and was so badass too. The powers the dino gems gave to the unmorphed rangers were cool too. Zeltrax was my fave side villain of the series too he was really cool.

8: Power Rangers Wild Force
Wild Force, like Time Force, is very faithful to its Sentai counterpart, with nearly the exact same plot. It's also the first season to have the exact same morphing sequence as its Sentai counterpart. Power Rangers Wild Force takes place in 2002, continuing the tradition of having the incarnation taking place the year it was released.  Wild Force was the first season to have a narrator like its Sentai counterpart. This is the first Ranger Team to have both Yellow and White female Rangers. It wouldn't count if you include Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers with Alien Rangers from Aquatar.  Wild Force is the first Power Rangers series where the Rangers are shown to already be operating, without a Red Ranger, before the start of the show. Wild Force is the first season to show the zords in full CGI, not only in their presentations, but in any scene prior to their combination into the Megazord. This was the first regular Power Rangers series not to feature a Pink Ranger as well as the first series since Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers to not feature one, and the first since in Space not to feature a Green Ranger. This is the first season of Power Rangers since In Space to feature a Black Ranger, and the first since the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (and their alien counterparts) to feature a White Ranger. This season holds the record of the highest number of Zords featured: 22. Max is the only Ranger in this season not to have 3 Zords, only possessing 2. This series also has the current record for Power Ranger appearances from previous seasons, at 13. The first were the 6 Time Force Rangers, then the 7 Red rangers in "Forever Red.". This is the first season to show realistic blood when Zen-Aku's left hand was cut. "Forever Red" was the first episode to commemorate the anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise. This would repeat in Dino Thunder with Legacy of Power, and again in Operation Overdrive with Once A Ranger. This is the first season since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to not use wrist Morphers. They use cell phone-like Morphers instead. This is the first incarnation of Power Rangers since in Space to not have the rangers' base of operations destroyed in the finale, and the first of all incarnations to not have the rangers' base of operations destroyed at all (the Power Chamber in Zeo was destroyed at the end of Turbo, and the Astro Megaship from in Space was destroyed at the end of Lost Galaxy). Cole was my fave ranger in this series besides Merrick but hey i liked the entire team they were all so likeable. I liked the enemies and master org at the end in his final form was a formidable opponent. Great story there too and of course my fave villain in the show was Zen-Aku as i mentioned in the previous list. The animal crystals, zords, i liked everything this series had to be honest as i keep back tracking on haha.

7: Power Rangers Mystic Force
This is the first season since Zeo to make no changes to the Sentai villains, and without either adding an original antagonist or removing a Sentai antagonist from the footage. The show is noted, and often criticized, for heavily focusing on the Red Ranger over the others. Jackie Marchand says this was down to the sheer amount of MagiRed stock footage compared to the others.  This is the first Power Rangers series to simultaneously feature female Blue and Pink Rangers, as well as a male Yellow Ranger on the same team.  This is the first Power Ranger team to not pilot their zords but rather become them. Mystic Mother, formerly known as Rita Repulsa, was the source of the Mystic Force powers and established their connection to the morphing grid. This was done as a tribute to Machiko Soga, the actress that portrayed Witch Bandora in Zyuranger (dubbed in MMPR as Rita Repulsa) who had passed away from cancer.  While the SPD Rangers don't appear, their ally Piggy (played by Barnie Duncan, who also does Toby) does. He chats with Jenji saying that "In 20 years this place will be crawling with aliens", referencing SPD. I loved Mystic Force, i loved all the magic and powers that came to play it was really unique and different for its time if i say so myself. Story was mainly focused on the red ranger more so yes but i do think the rest of the ranger stood out with their bits too. So many cool villains and ally's in this season aswell. I dug the capes on the rangers too. When people hear mystic force they either tend to say "yeah it was an ok season" or they will say "oh that sucked" i am here like "guess i'm in the small majority who liked it COOL!" and hey the rangers became fricken zords in this one which is uh hello super cool!

6: Power Rangers SPD
Power Rangers S.P.D was a milestone season behind-the-scenes and for the fanbase, but also one of the most controversial among fans. Kalish and Aronowitz's combined effort on the early portions of SPD gained instantaneous praise from the fanbase, as SPD proved to be one of the more ambitious PR seasons ever attempted, with a rare cast of strong actors portraying each character with gravitas and investment, as a result, the cast became hailed as perhaps one of the best in the show's history. It was also at this time that the production crew opened communications with the fandom. Even the first set of episodes were superb due to the quality backstage talent. Each Ranger got an entire episode devoted entirely to their character development also and the Shadow Ranger was introduced, once again, through a very well-received two-part episode.  It is the first series to feature Pink Rangers that did not have skirted uniforms (Syd and the A-Squad Pink Ranger) and also the first time that a female Yellow Ranger had no skirt but has a legitimate female Sentai counterpart. It is notable for featuring the first known Jewish Power Ranger; Bridge Carson. It is the first Power Ranger series to feature an active seventh Ranger. It is the first series to feature an active Ranger with a known identity who is not credited in the opening sequence (Omega Ranger). It is the first series to feature an "Orange Ranger", imaginary or otherwise. It is the first series to feature a new Ranger (Katherine "Kat" Manx as Kat Ranger) who has the same name as a previous one (the other being Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the second MMPR Pink Ranger) from Mighty Morphin to Turbo). It is the first series to feature a new Ranger who shares a last name with a previous Ranger, but is not in any way related (Elizabeth "Z" Delgado, the S.P.D. Yellow Ranger, and Danny Delgado, the Black Bison Ranger from Wild Force).  It is the first series to have an episode take place in Japan, the country from which the Power Rangers' source material, Super Sentai, originated. It is the first series in which one Ranger morphs using their teammate's powers. There have, however, been previous instances of powers being passed from one Ranger to another. It is the first to have 3 female Rangers on one team and as of the final episode, 4. It is the first to have a female Red Ranger (Red A-Squad Ranger). Bruce Kalish has said that he and the producers of the show had to convince Disney to use a female Red Ranger, and that while it may be a small step now, it may one day lead to a full-time female Red Ranger on the show. It would take Toei, the producer of Super Sentai until 2009's Samurai Sentai Shinkenger to feature a female Red Ranger.  It is the first series to end with the morphing call and show the logo in the final shot of the final episode. It is the first season where the monsters do not grow to large sizes, but instead, retreat to the cockpits of zord-sized robots for the final battle. In the fourth episode, when Sky is looking at a picture of his father in his Red Ranger uniform, the father is wearing the Red Time Force Ranger costume, while the young Sky is holding the red Time Force helmet. It is the first series since Power Rangers In Space to have its theme written and performed by Ron Wasserman. So it was a series of many first's and one of my fave's, i loved the characters and story. The rangers swat mode upgrade was real cool too and so was their zords! The omega, shadow, kat, a squad and heck orange rangers were cool too! I loved seeing the in space costumes be used in another space ranger season. A series of many cool's let's be honest.

5: Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy presently owns the highest on screen death toll thus far seen in Power Rangers: Magna Defender, Scorpius, Furio, Treacheron, Villamax, The Guardian, Loyax, Trakeena, Deviot, Captain Mutiny, Barbarax, Stratoforce Megazord, Centaurus Megazord, Torozord, DECA, and Kendrix (though she is revived in the finale). Lost Galaxy was the first series not to take place in the fictional city of Angel Grove, California, nor Earth. Lost Galaxy was the first series to abandon the teleportation ability that had been seen in all previous seasons. This is the first season where the monsters are able to grow without the help of any of the central villains. Lost Galaxy is the first season to have had a three-part series finale. It is the first season to have sentient zords (with the possible exceptions of Titanus and Tor). It's also includes the first instances of sentient zord deaths: Torozord, Centaurus Megazord, and Stratoforce Megazord. It stands as the only series to feature a villain from a previous series becoming a Power Ranger, albeit temporarily. For the first time, the ending credits were accompanied by a display of one of the season's Megazords assembling. This trend would repeat until the middle of Wild Force. Lost Galaxy is the first season to have a Ranger die in the line of battle, though she is revived at the end of the series. Lost Galaxy is the first series to feature siblings serving on the same team. Lost Galaxy is also the series where the original Zords and Megazord were introduced the latest. The Galactabeasts are first seen in episode three ("Race to the Rescue"), but their Zord forms and the Galaxy Megazord are not seen until episode five ("Homesick"). This is the first series in which the Rangers are not teenagers, but adults with professions. This is the first series where a character is able to combine with a Zord. This would later be repeated in Power Rangers Mystic Force with Leanbow. The uniforms for Terra Venture's military are "Federation Body Armors" used in the 1997 film Starship Troopers. Coincidentally, both series feature the protagonists fighting against bugs. I loved the use of starship troopers equipment, the magna defender, leo, zords and theme song. This is a historic series having a ranger die in it. I first seen this series on vhs tapes when i had lost galaxy 1st vhs one Christmas and i was very excited and when i watched it, it felt very much like a movie, it was amazing. Still one of my all time faves and the magna defender arc is one of my fave arcs today.

4: Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
It was the first incarnation of Power Rangers to have the Rangers' identities be known to public from the onset, as opposed to previous incarnations where a Ranger's identity was to be kept secret, revealed only in extreme circumstances, and the series is unique in the fact that it was the first where the Rangers' powers, Zords and weapons were man-made and had no mystical origin whatsoever (both of these traits would be repeated in Power Rangers: S.P.D. and Power Rangers: RPM). Lightspeed Rescue also had, for the first time, a Power Ranger with no Super Sentai counterpart in the Titanium Lightspeed Ranger.  This is the first Power Rangers series in which the Green and Blue Rangers, not just the Red Ranger, receive Battlizers or equipment very close to one. This is the first series that the Rangers team's opaque visor can be opened followed by Power Rangers: Ninja Storm.
This is the first series to have trains for zords.  This is the first time the five Rangers were complete strangers before becoming Power Rangers. I loved how the rangers were already life savers or some aspects of it before becoming a ranger. The whole man made morphin grid in this season was so unique and really cool. I loved the super train megazord. The whole hero's vs demons was a interesting concept and we had a good interesting story from this season and all rangers were very likeable to boot.

3: Power Rangers Time Force
A number of changes have been made in Power Rangers Time Force since the 9/11/2001 World Trade Center attack. The opening clip with the giant robot standing on the 2 World Trade Center Towers has been removed. The speech in "Ransik Lives" has been replaced with music due to the similarities of Bin Laden's speech. The scenes with the skyscraper buildings being under attack or destroyed, and the scenes of people panicking as a result, have been edited. Time Force is the first Power Rangers series where the original Rangers, with the exception of Wesley, took or stole their morphers rather than being given to them. Power Rangers Time Force is the first (and so far the only) Power Rangers season to feature a Pink Ranger as the leader. However, the Red Ranger remained the protagonist of the show. Time Force is the only series thus far to feature a sixth Ranger that wore the same color as another team member (Wes and Eric both wore red as their color scheme). Power Rangers Time Force is also notable for being the first series where the Rangers don't destroy the monsters, but rather capture them in containers. It was the first series to employ Power Rangers from the future. It was the first series to feature a family member accidentally finding out their relative was a Power Ranger (Mr. Collins found out Wes was the Red Ranger when his visor was damaged in a battle). Time Force is the first (and so far only) season known to have a Megazord which can switch from one Megazord mode to another, using only the 5 core components. The season was planed to have an extra 10 episodes, and the possibility for a movie, but was cancelled due to a possible Screen Actors Guild strike. This is the first Power Rangers incarnation, and so far the only one, to have absolutely no supernatural elements in the series (aside from the team-up episodes and the season's Battlizer), all major plot points being limited to science fiction instead. Allegedly, due to this season's overall dark nature compared to other Power Rangers seasons, Fox considered broadcasting the series on their Sunday primetime lineup after The X-Files; however, it ultimately remained on Fox Kids for brand consistency. This series kicked butt! Wes and Jen's relationship was something that had everyone watching waiting for the two to finally kiss and reveal their feelings for one another and it was so sweet when it happened i compare it to dr.who's dr and rose story. This series had a red ranger be destroyed in the first episode which blew everyone's minds. Honestly when it happened everyone was like "DID YOU SEE IT?!" no one could believe it. When i was a kid when this season was out i was having my final operation completed on my leg and i remember before going into surgery being scared and i asked my perants "can i please have a time force megazord when i wake up?" and what do you know i had one after i woke up from surgery it was the coolest thing ever! The time force zords were so cool and unique and stand out a lot. Q-rex,shadow megazord and the time force zord come on how cool and badass were they? All had likeable rangers and hell the villains you had a soft spot for aswell by the end of the show. Ransik as i said in a previous list was a human villain and was really great.

2: Power Rangers In Space
This was the last series to take place in Angel Grove, California. The city is last seen in the first episode of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Quasar Quest. Angel Grove would later be revisited in the Operation Overdrive team-up special, "Once a Ranger". This was the first season to use an orchestral music score instead of the usual rock used in previous seasons. This is the first series of Power Rangers to not have any kind of power transfer occur whatsoever, as all previous series have had at least one Ranger get replaced mid-season. This was the last season to feature bloopers in the ending credits. "Countdown to Destruction" was the first time the Rangers revealed their identities to the public. It is the first season to not include Tommy Oliver. Loved all the characters, the story, the villains, the zords, the weapons, it's just one of the best seasons of power rangers overall. How can you not like it. I hope the power rangers cinematic universe happens and we get to have a in space movie or two.

1: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Obviously this was always going to be numero uno. It's the first and the best, the show i grew up with and watched in bed before sleeping as a kid. Loved all the characters and villains and the music and zords, weapons, the stories/story. What else can i say? Lord Zedd is the first American-made villain with absolutely no Super Sentai counterpart. The expression "Morphinomenal!" was coined by Kimberly Ann Hart. Similarly, "It's Morphin Time!" was first spoken by Zordon in the episode "High Five." The expression "Back To Action" was coined by Jason Lee Scott. The Ninja and Shogun Ultrazords are the only Zord formations in Power Rangers history that are made from American footage. No suits or props were used in making them; the Bandai toys of each Zord were used to bring them to life on the show. The American versions of the toys were used for this, which presented some problems as the American versions are often noticeably different than the Japanese versions (and thus, the actual Zords on the show). For example, the left arm of the Japanese Shogun Megazord toy (and the real Shogun Megazord) is white. For some reason, the left arm of the Shogun Megazord toy was repainted pink for the American version. Thus, the arm would suddenly switch colors whenever the Shogun Ultrazord was formed. In addition to being the original series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has also been considered the best among Power Rangers fans, winning a contest conducted by ABC Family in 2004 in which viewers voted for their favorite season.  The original series has the distinction of being the longest-running incarnation, lasting for three years (1993-1996), with the longest running single main continuity, lasting through Zeo, Turbo, and In Space. Six video games based on this show were produced on the following systems: Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega Game Gear, Super Nintendo Entertainment System (which had two, one of which being called "Power Rangers The Fighting Edition) and Game Boy.  The second season is the only season (in the Zordon Era or otherwise) where a part of the Ranger's Arsenal was directly upgraded from a previous season's tools, with the 5 original Dino Zords from season 1 being used as foundations for the Thunder Zords of this season (the Ninja powers of season 3, while still being "Mighty Morphin" powers, were technically replacements for the original powers, not upgrades).  Several elements of the third season openly contradict Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, rendering it out-of continuity- such as Ninjetti, Ninja FalconMegazord, and even the way the rangers received their powers. This is the season that kicked off a world wide phenomenon and a huge franchise so of course it is number 1 well besides all the other reason's i listed earlier too.

Ok thank's for reading as ever.

I hope you have/will/did enjoy the Power Rangers 2017 movie.
Let me know your thoughts and what season's you liked best :)

See you in the next list rangers!

Top 10 Power Ranger Villains!

Ah after 10,000 years this list is free and up on my blog!

Who is the most evil of all? Have a look at my list and see who my top 10 power ranger villains are!

RULES: ONE VILLAIN PER SERIES! Does not have to be the main big bad of a show either.

10: King Mondo
He drove Rita and Zedd off the moon in his quest to conquer earth with his massive army but obviously he underestimated the power rangers. Mondo soon grew tired of the Rangers, who repeatedly thwarted his plans. The conquest of Earth was made even more difficult when the Gold Ranger arrived and bolstered the Zeo Rangers' ranks, despite repeated efforts by the Machine King to take the Gold Ranger's powers for himself. Mondo finally tired of fooling around and unearthed the ancient Sword of Damocles, intending to personally destroy the rangers. He grew giant and confronted Earth's defenders, but was vanquished by their new Super Zeo Megazord. Mondo did get rebuilt and came back later on in Zeo but he was also then blown up by Zedd & Rita only to be severely damaged and he later met his final end in the final in space episode countdown to destruction. He was not scary at all seemed more like a joke but his army is something quite intimidating to face if i was a ranger. Mondo is notable for being the first main villain in the Power Rangers franchise to be destroyed in direct combat against the Power Rangers, albeit only temporary. He is the only villainous leader from the Zordon-Era to be destroyed in Countdown to Destruction. The others, namely Rita, Zedd and Divatox, were all purified from evil and changed into humans.

9: Zen-Aku
No one knows much of Zen-Aku's origin, only that his Org spirit was locked within an evil Wolf Mask. When Merrick's friend Animus had perished at the hands of the original Master Org, Merrick made the decision that he had to stop their enemy once and for all. Heading into a temple, he'd found the Mask of Zen-Aku, put it on, and used his Predazord to destroy the evil Master once and for all. However, after Master Org was defeated, the Wolf Mask had seized control of Merrick's mind, turning him into (or merging him with) the evil Zen-Aku. While he still had some of his humanity, he implored his fellow Animarian Guardians to kill him, but they refused and instead used their Crystal Sabers to seal him away in an underground coffin. He was only in 8 episode's but he made a lasting impact in my brain when it comes to villains. Zen-Aku has superhuman strength, stamina, resistance, agility and speed that exceeds that of the Wild Force Rangers. Zen-Aku is powerful enough to take on all five of the Rangers in close combat without too much difficulty. His primary attack is the "Crescent Wave", the only special attack of his blade, which was a blade of dark energy that could disable almost any of his opponents. Though he is a formidable opponent, his greatest strength comes out during full moons. Zen-Aku's name means "good-evil" in Japanese. He may or may not have night vision, since his eyes are always glowing and he fights at night with ease. Zen-Aku uses a flute to summon his Wild Zords similar to how Tommy Oliver summons the Dragonzord. Augmented by the fact they had similar roles in their respective seasons as the late addition to the Power Rangers team, beginning as an enemy controlled by the villains, breaking free of their control and joining the Rangers as an ally.

8: Octomus The Master
Octomus is the main antagonist of Mystic Force. He is the true leader of the forces of darkness and Supreme Master of the Underworld. In the series, he is only referred to as "The Master". However, an episode description at the iTunes Video Store for an episode of Power Rangers: Mystic Force lists his name as "Octomus".. Such a creepy evil looking creature he would put fear in the hearts of any man and deserves his place here. Octomus is the true leader of the forces of darkness and Supreme Master of the Underworld. The denizens of the Underworld revere him so much that they refer to him only as "The Master". Octomus is the most feared being in the magical world, and for good reason. He is a sadistic monster of a demon who takes pleasure in torturing his victims mentally and physically. He has shown to be arrogant as he boasted about his power to the Mystic Mother. He is proven to be remorseless as he turned the world into an alternate reality apocalypse without a twinge of regret. He has no sense of humour or even comedy added to him which only makes him more menacing. He was free of cowardice while his arrogance boosted his "belief " that he was the most powerful being on earth. Being the leader of the forces of darkness and the supreme master of the underworld, The Master is one of the strongest and most powerful enemies in Mystic Force, since he possesses much more strength and abilities than Imperious, Koragg, Morticon, Necrolai and all of the Ten Terrors combined. Alongside Queen Bansheera, Lothor and Omni, Octomus is one of the most strongest and the most powerful villains in the entire Power Ranger franchises.

7: Mesogog
Anton Mercer was on the verge of a scientific breakthrough during an experiment involving dinosaur DNA, when he was accidentally transformed into Mesogog, an evil mastermind with plans to revert the earth to the age of dinosaurs and turn the human race into reptilian creatures like himself. Mesogog and Dr. Mercer have distinct personalities, but share the same body in a Jekyll-Hyde relationship. Each is aware of the other's existence, but also dislikes the situation. In his Mesogog form, he is equipped with cybernetic technology and psionic powers that he uses to torture his enemies, or his allies when he is angry at their failures. Dr. Anton Mercer has an adopted son, Trent Fernandez, who became the White Dino Ranger when he accidentally discovered Mesogog's lab while investigating his father's mysterious comings and goings. Mesogog is similar to Mr. Hyde from The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Anton Mercer, like Dr. Jekyll, invented a potion which turned him into a monster. Mercer is also similar to Dr. Kurt Connors from Spider-Man, who becomes the Lizard after inventing a potion with lizard DNA to regenerate his lost right arm. As Anton Mercer, his relationship with his son is similar to Norman Osborn, aka the Green Goblin's Relationship with Harry Osborn. His second form i thought is stupid but man is he intimidating when he is just walking round so slowly with his quiet snarly voice. One villain i would not like to run into in a dark alley.

6: Trakeena
Trakeena was born the daughter of the galactic tyrant Scorpius and an unknown female, though her mother seemed to have been a human as she speaks highly of her human beauty in spite of her insectoid features. Scorpius considered Trakeena to be the evil princess of his alien army and spared no expense to spoil and protect her, but she did not like being treated as a child and would frequently sneak away with her father's generals in efforts to prove herself as a warrior despite his disapproval. Eventually, Trakeena learned that Scorpius wished for her to enter the cocoon and become an insect with great powers like him. Not wanting to lose her mortal beauty the transformation would cause, Trakeena fled to the planet Onyx when he tried to force her. As she wandered into the tavern and found that her prestige did her no good in facing the ruthless patrons, Trakeena met Villamax and his aide Kegler. Villamax offered to train her to be a great warrior and taught her swordplay and martial arts. In time, Trakeena became a truly incredible fighter, and later introduced her newfound strength to the tavern when they tried to give her trouble again. Trakeena was the first humanoid villain to be killed in the series (but only after mutating into her giant monster form). All previous humanoid villains (Rita, Divatox, Astronema etc.) were purified of their evil. Trakeena was incredibly vain and proud. She could teleport like many of Scorpius's servants and wielded a staff that allowed her to fire low-level energy blasts (though it was lost on Onyx). For protection, Trakeena could form armor on her body to cover her completely, though this was rarely used. While initially refusing to enter the cocoon, Trakeena kept it in case she ever needed to use its powers. The first time it was used, she was thrown inside with Deviot, merging with him and gaining portions of his armor but losing her sanity in the process. The second time it was used, she was transformed into a full insectoid creature and reached what is presumed to be the pinnacle of her powers. According to Queen Bansheera, Trakeena's overall power in her insect form surpasses that of a Star Power-enhanced Olympius. After her final battle with the Rangers, Trakeena lost her insect form and powers. While attempting to regain them, using a special machine and the life energy of several kidnapped people, Olympius used a poisoned dagger to corrupt the stored energy and instead she was transformed into a demon-like monster. In this final form, she had enough power to not only cause massive destruction to the city, but was able to overwhelm the Omega Megazord and Galaxy Megazord with relative ease and take their combined finishing moves and only be momentarily stunned. It took the Omega Megazord empowered with the Lights of Orion to finally defeat her. She's the bug that could not stop coming back, each time she did she would be stronger and better than before. Her last form the demon like one is really powerful and is quite a scary enemy to face.

5: Emperor Gruumm

Gruumm is relentless and nothing will stand in his way to conquer the universe. He previously destroyed the planet Sirius (home world of Anubis Cruger), and in 2025 he launched an assault on Earth. He was defeated by Anubis Cruger and captured in front of SPD Headquarters after Omni was destroyed by the S.W.A.T. Megazord. Emperor Gruumm is the fourth final main Power Ranger villain who does not die, instead he is contained and trapped in an SPD card by Cruger. The first is Divatox, the second is Astronema, the third is Ransik and the fifth(possibly) is Venjix. In a May 2014 interview Greg Aronowitz has stated that Gruumm's original concept was intended to be a homage to Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent as a power hungry and deranged villain. The skull and partially exposed brain was due to Aronowitz's fondness for such things, as well as to show that Gruumm was hiding his true nature and was also both intelligent and had a weak point. Gruumm has no Super Sentai counterpart either. He was very much lie Lord Zedd i thought an evil menace who could send shivers down your spine with ease. Not one to get angry but saying that none of these villains you should ever get angry.

4: Diabolico
Diabolico is the devil-like first antagonist of Lightspeed. He was the first demon in the show to be granted the Star Power by Queen Bansheera, and he attacked the Rangers with his army of demons. Despite being a villain, Diabolico cared deeply for his comrades, especially Loki. When he was forced to shoot Loki and destroyed him along with the rangers, he ultimately defected from Queen Bansheera's side and ultimately became a short-lived ally of the rangers. In the season finale, he was able to exact his revenge, helping the rangers destroy Queen Bansheera once and for all. Diabolico was evidently considered to be a good friend by Loki and Vypra as well as they both mourned him when he was killed by the rangers. Even though he lied to Ryan to manipulate him, he did seem to care about Ryan and wanted him to rule by his side when the rangers were destroyed. He even referred to him as Ryan during his their time together. When Ryan solidify his loyalty to the rangers over him, he stopped calling Ryan by his name and simply called him the Titanium Ranger. Diabolico displayed strong spiritual powers, as he was able to appear in a spiritual form even when he was imprisoned and after being destroyed. He could also control the weather and summon energy blasts. In battle he used a skull-themed two-pronged staff with axe-like blades. He has also shown a strange ability where he can detach his right hand and grab onto opponents with it and bring the rest of his body closer to his target. With the Star Power, Diabolico was immensely powerful; one of his energy beams was enough to put a hole through the Super Train Megazord. Even without the Star Power, he was a competent fighter, nearly besting Olympius in their first battle. When turned into his Super Demon form, Diabolico was at his peak in power. In this form he used a jewel-encrusted sword as his weapon. When he combined his powers with those of Olympius, they were enough to destroy nearly all of the Rangers' Megazords, a feat very few villains and monsters are capable of achieving. Diabolico is the first major villain to help the rangers defeat another major villain. The second was Ransik. A very interesting villain having him be compassionate and caring for his fellow demons was something we had not seen before that point as we were use to villains not caring just everyone who was not the main villain was seen as disposable really. He was really evil yet powerful and a interesting menacing character who had good in him.

3: Ransik
Watching the first episode of Time Force has me expecting Ransik to be defeated and shrugged off like a "oh he's not the main villain" kinda thing then he went and destroyed the red ranger and i was like "Holy cow! What just happened?!" I could not believe it and at that point i knew Ransik is one hell of a villain and is really powerful. What's scary is Ransik is just a normal human i mean yeah he has mutated but he is still human and he is also a father and compare that to all the villains here on the list Ransik is the most human of them all. Ransik is a former criminal mutant from the year 3000, who traveled back in time to 2001 in order to control Earth before Time Force existed. He possessed abilities such as great strength and durability, energy projection, bone manipulation, teleportation, martial arts, and telekinesis. During his days as a villain, Ransik was self-centered, egocentric, and only focused on his plans for world domination, treating everyone around him except for Nadria like an expendable pawn. His desire to rule the world was second only to his fatherly instincts. When he found out Nadria developed a crush on Lucas, despite being upset about the news at first, he ultimately went with her decision to date him, even visiting Lucas and giving him dating advice, albeit in a twisted and somewhat violent manner. He did however, give Lucas gifts to give to Nadria to help him impress her. In exchange for this, he threatened Lucas if he didn't treat Nadira well he would end him. He also spied on them during the date and reminded Lucas to give her the presents he gave him and later feigned ignorance when Nadira told him about the date so the credit of giving Nadira a wonderful date would go entirely to Lucas. He also even went as far as to forbid his minions from harming Lucas during the brief period they dated. Despite being Ransik's enemy at the time and not fearing Ransik himself, Lucas both feared and respected Ransik's instincts as a father and despite wanting to break up with Nadria he was afraid to out of fear of facing Ransik for doing so. It was because of his fatherly instincts that served as his first step for redemption after nearly killing Nadira with his own hands, having finally seen the error of his ways, he sought redemption just like his daughter did shortly before him. After his change of heart, he referred to the Rangers as his friends and nearly sacrificed himself to stop the Mut-Orgs. Afterwards, he was shown to still dislike Nadira's intentions towards Lucas but seemed more accepting of them. He is one of the few villains ever to not be defeated by the Power Ranger team of their series. During the final fight, he defeats all the rangers singlehandedly. He ultimately chooses to surrender and turn himself in after seeing his hatred almost cost him Nadira. He is also one of the few final power ranger villains that does not die, insteed he turns himself in and also in Power Rangers Wild Force, he reform's. He is the only villain to team-up with his season's rangers rather than teaming up with the villains during the following season's teamup. Along with Astronema and Queen Bansherra, Ransik is one of the few villains that is not comical, making him one of the more threatening and more serious villains in the entire Power Ranger franchise.

2: Psycho Rangers
First time i seen these guys i was like "OMG who the heck are these dudes and my god they are so cool!" The evil princess Astronema created them to draw on the power of her master Dark Specter, and they were designed to hunt down the Power Rangers by tracking their energy, voices, and communicator noises. Each Psycho Ranger had a specific fighting style unbeatable by the Ranger that they were evil versions of (though they were a serious threat to the ranger team even without all of their members). The Psycho Rangers consisted of the Blue, Yellow, Pink, Black, and Red Psycho Rangers, with Psycho Red as their leader. In this way, the Psycho Rangers were used by Astronema not only to defeat the Power Rangers, but also to severely weaken Dark Specter, whom Astronema wished to overthrow. As the storyline unfolded, it was revealed that they also had 'monster forms' as well as their Ranger forms, reverting to their more explicit monster state when their Ranger forms were destroyed. Jesus did they look scary in their monster forms. The Psycho Rangers currently hold the record for the most appearances by a group of evil rangers, as most evil ranger teams created by the main villain rarely last longer than the episode in which they are first introduced. Oddly, when Astronema created the Psycho Rangers, she did not think to make a Psycho Silver. This is possibly due to her subconscious remnants of her affection for Zhane, although the metafictional explanation is the fact that the Sentai Series did not have a counterpart either, though the Psycho Silver costume worn by Zhane was from Sentai. My fave evil rangers hands down.

1: Lord Zedd
Finally here we are the most evil, menacing, powerful villain in my opinion and the best too. The character was the first American-made villain for the Power Rangers series of shows with no origin in the Japanese Sentai shows. Originally depicted as a frighteningly more evil character than Rita, with a dark, gothic atmosphere during his scenes in the Lunar Palace and the dark tone of his theme, complaints from parents resulted in Zedd being toned down immensely, such as his marriage to Rita and reversing the Earth's rotation in an attempt to make the Rangers forget their duties and powers. After this, most of his plans seemed rather hare-brained and wackier than previously, such as creating a monster to induce cravings for junk food or creating a monster that causes friends and romantic couples to hate each other. He and Rita both have a son, Thrax, who appears in Operation Overdrive, during the 15th Anniversary 2-part special, "Once A Ranger", where he is mentioned to have succumbed to good. He later regains his lost powers thanks to interference in the timeline by his past self. Thousands of years ago, Zedd presumably managed to forge his own empire, as he proclaimed to be "Emperor of Evil" in the series proper. He enslaved multiple other evil beings, such as Goldar and Rita Repulsa. Because he did not think Earth was important enough to warrant his attention, he had left Rita Repulsa to conquer it while he pursued the conquest of other systems. It is mentioned by Rita Repulsa that Zedd also tried to take the Zeo Crystal for himself in the ancient past. But because the Crystal was protected by a forcefield which damages the forces of evil, the attempt caused his skin to burn off, which gave him the flayed and grotesque appearance he is known for. Due to the mocking tone Rita told this, it is not known if she was joking or if this fact is real. This theory gets confirmed by Goldar and his brother Silverback in the comic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Annual #1 (2016). Lord Zedd had taken the Zeo Crystal some time before, but after it had damaged his skin, Zedd would disappear from battlefields and wear a cloak to shield his appearance. When he was turned good by Zordon's Energy Wave, his evil personality traits were mostly purged; his love for Rita was enough for Zordon's energy to turn him into a human being. However Zedd's hunger for power remained, as shown in Super Legends he missed his former power and travelled back in time to witness his former self, which led to him becoming evil again. Whether this is canon can be debated, since the events of the game aren't shown during the TV series. Zedd loves Halloween, but despises Christmas. It is often assumed by fans that Thrax was conceived during Zedd and Rita's time away during Power Rangers Turbo. Zedd was the first Power Ranger villain to be a Power Rangers Exclusive. He is the only non humanoid villain shown to become good in Countdown to Destruction. If one treats Power Rangers Super Legends as canon, Zedd is also the only villain purified by the Z Wave to return to being evil. It is also shown that Zedd has a rivalry with Count Dregon, however the two never are seen face-to-face. (He later seems oblivious to the fact Dregon follow the Rangers back to Earth.) In the game Super Legends, it is revealed that Zedd became an archaeologist after being purified with Zordon's wave. I wish and wonder what would Zedd have been like if perants did not complain to saban to make zedd more pg.

Right oh, that's it for today's evil list in the morphin grid of my blog page.

Hope you enjoyed. Who are your fave villains of power rangers? Let me know by commenting :)

Top 10 Power Rangers Megazords!

WE NEED MEGAZORD POWER NOW!

What's up people?! How you doing? Hope you are all fine as ever.

Today's morphenomenal list see's us combine together to make one list full of the best megazords!

RULES ONE ZORD PER SERIES! Zord's do not have to be from the rangers per see but must be called a megazord or piloted by rangers. So for example Zen-Aku is not a ranger but has a zord he can make it on the list and the in space rangers have mega winger and mega voyager and they don't have zords in the name but are megazords. Ok confusion out of the way let's rocket!

10: Super Zeo Megazord
The Super Zeo Megazord stood roughly twice as tall as a Megazord-sized monster and when involved with combat would generally vastly overpower a monster before finishing it off. Super Zeo Megazord is not only formed of the five Super Zeozords, but also of a recycled component from an unspecified old Megazord. It is armed with twin sabers, which could launch a blade shaped energy projectile that was strong enough to defeat King Mondo. A real impressive zord together and not combined. Used to have several Zeo comics as a kid and this zord was always featured in them and so it sticks out in memory a lot to me.

9: Centaurus Wolf Megazord

Centaurus Wolf Megazord is the second combination of Koragg and Catastros that is activated when Koragg chants "Uthe Mejor Ultimas". The Centaurus Wolf Megazord proved to be more powerful than the five Mystic Titans and Mystic Dragon in terms of strength. It also proved to be stronger than the Titan Megazord as well. However it was defeated when the Titan Megazord used its new Titans Attack. The Centaurus Wolf Megazord can take away powers from other beings. Glaive: The Centaurus Wolf Megazords primary weapon, a staff made of Catastros' mane and tail for melee combat. Dark Magic Spell Seal: A Dark version of the Titan Megazords Mystic Spell Seal, he will rotate his Glave in a circle and summons a seal similar to the Titan Megazord's but is colored purple. The Megazord will then swing the Glaive at full force. It is strong enough to take out the Mystic Dragon in one hit. Dark Magic Strike: The Centaurus Wolf Megazord can charge up his Glaive with dark energy, and will swing his Glaive at full force, simmer to Koragg's. Altogether a really cool evil looking powerful zord that deserves a spot here on my list.

8: Delta Command Megazord
Delta Command Megazord is the second and final phase of the Delta Base Defense System, and is one of the largest existing Megazords. It is more than twice the size of the Delta Squad Megazord. The Megazord can fire powerful lasers as well as super crime scene tape from its fingertips, along with powerful energy beams from its knees. Its finishing attack is a destructive energy wave fired from the laser panels on its chest. It is usually piloted by the Shadow Ranger but also has control panels for the five main Rangers and the Omega Ranger. Its dimensions are 88 meters and 35 meters width, with a speed of 80 km/h.

7: Thunder Megazord
The Thunder Megazord's height is 100 feet. Like the Storm Megazord, the Thunder Megazord could also use Power Spheres in battle. The Power Spheres that Thunder Megazord had used are: 04: Spin Blade, 08: Minizord (Legs) ,11: Sting Blaster and 17: Ninja Firebird (Wings). Additionally, the Thunder Rangers also have their own copy of Power Sphere 01: Serpent Sword that they had used on rare occasions. Two evil rangers controlling a zord is something to never mess with it's powers were really cool and it stood out for me to put on this list and dont worry these evil thunder rangers did become good and this zord still kicked butt!

6: Predazord
Predazord is the third megazord combined from the Dark Wild Zords by Zen-Aku. They were later redeemed and used by the Lunar Wolf Ranger. When then Predazord was controlled by Zen-Aku, the Wolf Wildzord helmet over the head was closed and had a org horn coming out of it.After Merrick is freed of Zen-Aku's curse and becomes the Lunar Wolf Ranger, the Predazord gains a new face. When Merrick, as himself, summons Predazord for the first time, he uses his Lunar Cue to shoot his Animal Crystals, the Wolf, the Hammerhead, and the Alligator off his Laser Pool Table and into the sky. There is an explosion as the Animal Crystals dance around the sky, and appear in three points of light on an eclipsed sun. The Predazord's "good" face resembles a valiant warrior, but still retains its previous "Dark" form regarding its transformation. Merrick introduces a new attack for the Predazord during this arc, calling it "Revolver Phantom". With this he attaches the Hammerhead Shark's tail to the Predazord's right arm and uses it as a drill. It still retains the ability to use the Gator Staff, Crescent Boomerang, and the Predator Wave. The Predazord is the first Megazord in Power Rangers history that is comprised of 3 Zords, but using only one pilot. A really cool powerful zord which started as a menacing intimidating megazord but turned out later to be a powerful good controlled zord.

5: Defender Torozord
The Torozord is the Zord of the Magna Defender. It is a bull that is loyal to the Magna Defender, but does not always go along with his rather brutal methods in his quest for vengeance, going as far as breaking their combined form once when the Defender attempted to destroy Terra Venture. Torozord can make Magna Defender grow to an enormous size called the Mega Defender, and either serves as his steed or merges with him to become Defender Torozord. Defender Torozord is a Megazord with powerful slashing attacks, armed with both a lance, or with the large Defender Axe. A really cool zord with really amazing features for one hell of a ally to the rangers and one my all time fave characters from power rangers being Magna Defender.

4: Supertrain Megazord
By running off a raised rail section and becoming airborne, the Rail Rescues could combine to form the Supertrain Megazord. As the Rail Rescues were large enough to house the Lightspeed Rescuezords, the Supertrain Megazord was substantially larger than the other Megazords. It had missiles and an Ion Turbine weapon at its disposal, known as its Gatling Blasters. At first almost twice as tall as its opponents, some later monsters were grown even larger to combat the Supertrain Megazord. Unfortunately, due to the massive output needed to power the Zords in their Megazord form, the Supertrain often overcharged itself which resulted in the Rangers being injured from within the cockpit. During its initial battle, the Megazord nearly tore itself apart, overloading twice by using its weapons. Easily one of the tallest and powerful megazords in power rangers history and its also the strongest and biggest man made zord here in the list, with its huge power levels this is slapped right here on the list and oh its made up of trains and its a cool looking zord so it is here for good reasons.

3: Time force Megazord
The five Time Flyers can combine into the Time Force Megazord in modes Red, Blue, and Jet Modes which makes it so unique and powerful. Some may think having this on a list has to be one mode or the other but the way i see it is, the zords combine and can make 2 different zords using the same zords so you now i will happily count it as one overall zord just of course has mode blue and red it's still called Time Force Megazord. The Time Force Megazord Mode Red is optimized for power. Mode red is armed with a sword and a shield. The Time Force Megazord Mode Blue is optimized for speed, and it can use the Time Jet [in] Blaster Mode. Mode Blue only ever actually defeated an enemy once. The Rangers generally switched to Mode Red to finish the job.

2: Mega Voyager
The Mega Voyager is thus far the only Megazord combination without the term 'Zord' in its name (It is also, with the Mega Winger, the only Megazords so far that share names with their original Sentai counterparts). Aside from the Mega V3 Missile Mode, it could also wield the Astro Megazord Saber, and was equipped with a set of four laser cannons on its chest-plating called the Mega Laser. This is the only Megazord from Power Rangers in Space to be made up of five zords which are assigned to individual rangers. One of my fave megazords easily it was so cool to see used each time and also when the mega winger combined to it aswell. I love this zord In Space is probably my second fave power ranger series for so many reasons and the cool zords in this season were defo one reason why. It's weapons was a shield and a giant rocket that was fire able and used to finish off many foes the mega v3 missle is such a cool deadly move and stands out as one of the best for me.

1: Mighty Morphin Megazord
Let’s be real here: You knew there could be no other choice for number one. The granddaddy of all Megazords with its iconic design and features it tops my list. With 3 modes to combat, 1 separate, 2 tank mode and 3 is megazord mode. When it goes to megazord mode i love the voice "Megazord sequence initiated.....Megazord activated!". It's power sword is full of immense power. It debuted in the pilot episode of the show and lasted all the way til the beginning of season two. The loss of the original Megazord felt like watching the death of one of our favourite characters; despite being just a giant metal mech, this was the only one we had ever known at the time. The Megazord (retroactively referred to as the Dino Megazord) is the combination of the five Dinozords: Tyrannosaurus, Pterodactyl, Mastodon, Triceratops, and Sabertooth Tiger. The Red Ranger's chair is the command console for the entire Megazord, but some of the other Rangers seem to have roles too. In "Fowl Play", Zack uses the Megazord's Cranial Laser against the Peckster, and in several episodes Jason asks Zack to divert more power to him, suggesting the Black Ranger may control auxiliary weapons. In "An Oyster Stew", Jason directs Kimberly to send a communication signal to Tommy, which may mean the Pink Ranger controls communication equipment. The special functions of the Blue and Yellow Rangers, if any, are unknown. I will add this unrelated tidbit though, the MMPR Movie 2017 Megazord is pretty cool i thought.

And that's today's list all over and done with and it's the last power ranger one i have had planned so you know what this little power ranger list top 10 series has been fun and challenging and i hope you all reading have enjoyed it too.

So thank you for reading as ever!

See you in the future rangers!

Top 10 Female Power Rangers!

Following up from yesterday's list (click here to read the list), here is my top 10 list of Female Power Rangers!

RULES OF THE LIST: ONE RANGER PER SEASON! Those who can morph but do not have ranger in their name are not on the list.

With that said and done time to go back to action!

10: Mystic Force Blue
Madison is the compassionate and kind hearted member of the Mystic Force group.Madison is shy and not very open, however, she has helped many people. Also, she refers herself as the "sister with the common sense", in contrast to her sister V's hotheaded behaviour. Madison is the second female to be a Blue Power Ranger. I liked Maddie and i am like her in a way having same kind of personality being shy and kept to myself. She is a great character and has many great moments in the series.

9: SPD Yellow
Z spent most of her life living on the streets - helping the homeless by stealing from those more fortunate. Z is the first female Yellow Ranger with a legitimate female Sentai counterpart, but not to have a skirt with her ranger suit. Previous six chosen female Yellow Rangers each didn't have a skirt with their ranger suit due to having male Sentai counterparts. Z can also create clones of herself. She is an interesting character who starts off in the series seemingly bad but ends up being nice and funny and inspiring. When Z was only 12, she was ridiculed for her genetic abilities and was once saved by a mysterious person in the shadows. The person turned out to be none other than Commander Cruger. This inspired a desire to protect others.

8: Wild Force Yellow
Before the wild force team had a red ranger their leader was Taylor the yellow wild force ranger making her the first Yellow Ranger to do so. Taylor is the second Ranger leader to lose leadership of her team without retiring first. The first was Jason Lee Scott the original Red Ranger. She was the Second Ranger to be a pilot before becoming a Power Ranger, after Joel Rawlings and before Scott Truman. She is the first and only female Second-in-command Ranger. Taylor is the first female ranger to have a sword as her personal specialised weapon. Taylor was not likeable at first being hard and demanding team leader but she slowly eased out of that and showed her true side, she is a tough no nonsense power ranger. She retired at the end of the season as a ranger and went back to flight school where she teaches new people and has so many people look up to her for her flight career and ranger career. A very tough respectable woman.

7: Ninja Storm Blue
Tori Hanson is the Blue Wind Ranger and is the first female Blue Power Ranger, in show history. I remember some people i know being like "what a girl is a blue ranger? a girl is a boy colour?" i remember just saying to those friends "its just a colour lets see what she is like before you judge." and my how those same people told me after a few episodes "i like her you were right" i was like i told you so....anyway....Tori is the logical and sensible member of the Ninja Rangers and a tomboy. She can be charmed by her teammates and loyal to her friends, but sticks up for Cam when her fellow Rangers pick on him and has an innate skill for ending conflicts with words instead of fists. Tori has an affinity for water, surfing in her spare time and mastering water based fighting techniques while training at the Wind Ninja Academy. The two-part episode Shane's Karma takes place on Tori's birthday, and the cake that Dustin is holding at the end of the second episode has eighteen candles on it. This makes Tori one of the few Rangers whose age is stated in any way, directly or indirectly. A great ranger and character she is.

6: Light Speed Pink
A paramedic and pink power ranger as if you could not tell already what an asset Dana is to the lightspeed rescue team. Dana is serious, intellectual, caring and level-headed. She gathers the team together from all over Mariner Bay, and is a valuable asset to the team as one of the Rangers. Dana has a very brief stint as a model, but she resigns when it starts to interfere in her Ranger duties. Dana is the first Pink Ranger to break the tradition of having a name that begins with a "K-" sound. Another great memorable ranger and character.

5: In Space Pink
Cassie is the only Pink Ranger of the Zordon Era to not have her name begin with a K funny enough. I really liked Cassie she was a very interesting character. Her weapon satellite stunner was cool i also thought. Overall i enjoyed her character and her contribution to the story.

4: Lost Galaxy Yellow
I really liked Maya and Kendrix but i will have to pick Maya over Kendrix. Maya has the ability to understand and talk with the Galactabeasts and the world around her. On occasion, she's received clairvoyant dreams or feelings concerning the Lights of Orion, Mike, Kendrix and Trakeena's rise to power after the death of Scorpius. She's also a skilled fighter and her fighting style is wild and she is unwilling to give up the fight. So this is what makes Maya a really good ranger and character.

3: Dino Thunder Yellow
First off she is a good singer and her power of the Ptera scream is deafening. A determined individual Kira is much like a combination of Trini and Kimberly the original female rangers. Kira shared screen time with more Rangers than any other female Ranger in Power Rangers history, with a total of 28 (the other four Dino Thunder Rangers, six Ninja Storm Rangers, nine S.P.D. Rangers, including Kat Manx, Adam Park, Xander Bly, and six Overdrive Rangers). Kira is the only Ranger to fight with two veteran rangers. In this case, Tommy Oliver and Adam Park, both of which were on the same team at one point in time.  She is the first Yellow Ranger to return to another season on her own, without her original team members. All Yellow Rangers before Kira have either returned for teamups or were never seen again. Kira is the first female Yellow Ranger in a skirt since Ashley (since the previous four females were all based on male Sentai characters). She is a strong female character liked by all.

2: Time Force Pink
Jen was the second female Ranger to serve as a team leader (the first being Delphine), and the first (and currently only) Pink Ranger to serve as a team leader. However Kimberly Ann Hart counts somewhat if one has seen the Wild West Rangers multiparter, as she serves as the leader of that particular group of Rangers for one episode only. One of the best pink's easy. I also met the actress who played Jen Scotts in London, Erin Cahill is a very lovely person. I think Jen was a great female character and who's story was really gripping to watch as she was dealing with a love triangle and being a leader and losing her boyfriend and with time differences in being in the past. Easily a fan fave too.

1: MMPR Pink - Kimberly
The first and the best, the 90s crush, the fan favourite. Kimberly was everything for us 90s kids haha. She was a capable gymnast and would later show that she also has some musical and artistic talent. Kimberly coined the phrase "Morphinominal!", which has been used in many Power Ranger shows since the character's departure from the series.Kimberly, along with Tommy, Billy, Adam, Rocky and Jason are the only Rangers to appear in more than 100 episodes. Kimberly is the only female to reach this amount. All these feats and her amazing character and story make her number one for me.

Alright and that's this morphenomenal list wrapped up.

Thanks for stopping by as ever.

Stay tuned for more ranger list's and other stuff from me.
