OK folks, spooky season is over so let's have a laugh. I thought it would be cool to show you all some of my favourite comedians.
From all time, to current time. These are some of my fave comedians and I wanted to make a post to show you all these legends. There's some more I watch whose names I am forgetting, but these are the most memorable to me in my memory as of this time of writing haha.
Richard Pryor
Richard Pryor was a groundbreaking comedian and one of the top entertainers of the 1970s and 1980s.
Paul Smith
Paul Smith is a firm favourite at Hot Water Comedy Club. His quick wit and affable nature make him popular with any crowd. Paul has been crowned Liverpools New Comedian of the Year and was a Finalist at The Leicester Comedian of the Year competition. He is reaching megastar status superfast thanks to his comedy and thanks to the power of tiktok and social media.
Lee Evans
Retired English stand-up comedian, film actor, musician, singer, and writer. He co-founded the production company Little Mo Films with Addison Cresswell, who was also his agent prior to Cresswell's death in December 2013.
Jimmy Carr
British-Irish comedian, presenter, writer, and actor. He is known for his deadpan delivery of controversial one-liners, for which he has been both praised and criticized.
Robin Williams
Actor and comedian Robin Williams was known for his fast-paced, improvisational performance style and for his performances in films like Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society.
George Carlin
Actor, writer, and comedian George Carlin was known for his stand-up routines as well as TV appearances and roles in such films as 1987's 'Outrageous Fortune.'
Steve Hughes
Steve Hughes is an Australian-born thrash metal drummer, comedian and actor. Hughes has embraced the title "Heavy Metal humorist", as it aligns with his approach to comedy, music and life; the press have referred to this title and similar variations. Hughes was an active member of Australia's early thrash metal scene.
Roy Chubby Brown
Roy Chubby Brown is an English stand-up comedian whose act consists of offensive humour, high profanity, forthright social commentary and outspoken disdain for political correctness.
Bill Burr
American stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He has released multiple stand-up comedy specials, most notably Why Do I Do This?, Let It Go, You People Are All the Same, I'm Sorry You Feel That Way, Walk Your Way Out, Paper Tiger, and Live at Red Rocks.
Billy Connolly
Sir William Connolly CBE is a Scottish actor, retired comedian, artist, writer, musician, and presenter. He is sometimes known, especially in his homeland, by the Scots nickname the Big Yin.
