The 10 Best Star Wars Minor characters.

These characters are not the main characters by far, yet i loved them!

It's either for their roles and actors on screen or for all of the lore canon and otherwise backstory from legends and non canon material now.

So let's take a look at those minor or rather side characters as i will call them from star wars that are just amazing.

I am naming these and not putting them in ranked order and i am laying it from the amount of screentime as compared to others that sets them as side or minor characters.

Although some of these get screentime and are in films or tv show's they are not main characters.

There will be star wars spoilers ahead so beware!

This was not originally scheduled to be a top 10 but due to length issues i went and made a top 10 list but this is in no order.

Grand Moff Tarkin
Wilhuff Tarkin was a human male who served the Galactic Republic and later the Galactic Empire. During the Clone Wars, Tarkin served as a Republic captain under Jedi Master Even Piell and was taken prisoner by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, before escaping with the help of a Jedi and clone trooper strike team. During the incident Piell was killed and Tarkin was later promoted to Admiral and served as prosecutor in the trial of Ahsoka Tano, who was framed for the bombing of the Jedi Temple hangar. After Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine transformed the Republic into the Galactic Empire, Tarkin became the empire's first Grand Moff, and regional Governor of the Outer Rim. With this responsibility, he was also given command of the Death Star. He believed that fear of the battle station would keep the local systems loyal to the Empire, and used it to destroy Alderaan to showcase the station's power. The Rebel Alliance squad Rogue One, however, stole plans to the Death Star from Scarif, and Luke Skywalker was able to destroy it during the Battle of Yavin, killing all those on board, including Tarkin. Tarkin is such an iconic stern menacing character it's his iconic look and his attitude that made him one not to trifle with. He kept Vader on a leash it seemed like in A New Hope it's what made him stand out as a iconic character more so.

Ki-Adi-Mundi
Ki-Adi-Mundi, a Force-sensitive Cerean male, was a Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council during the last years of the Galactic Republic. By the time of the Clone Wars, Mundi became a Jedi General of the Grand Army of the Republic. Like his Jedi colleagues, he led the Republic clone troopers against the Separatist Alliance forces in several battles across the galaxy, including the first and second campaign on Geonosis and the Outer Rim Sieges. In 19 BBY, the third and final year of the war, Mundi oversaw the Republic invasion of Mygeeto with the Galactic Marines under his command. During the campaign, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine instructed the Grand Army soldiers to execute their Jedi leaders in accordance with Order 66, an act which resulted in the death of Mundi along with the majority of the Jedi Order. He has fast reflex's and it's mainly his role in the original 2003 star wars clone wars that made me really appreciate this Jedi master the most with his gruelling encounter with General Grievous.

General Grievous
General Grievous was the Kaleesh cyborg Supreme Commander of the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Originally a Kaleesh warrior from the planet Kalee, he chose to receive cybernetic implants to increase his combat prowess. He was recruited by Count Dooku to lead the Separatist Droid Army, and trained in the art of lightsaber combat. Over the course of the Clone Wars, Grievous's shrewd battle planning and ruthlessness caused him to become feared throughout the Galactic Republic. The Kaleesh cyborg successfully combated the Republic's Jedi Generals, maintaining a collection of trophies; the lightsabers of Jedi he had slain. My god what a unique and such a deadly villain Grievous was, when he was first introduced back in the 2003 animated clone wars series he was insanely good and so unique and scary then come his live action debut he was a little bit of a joke but it was because he was damaged of course but hey i still liked him.

Wedge Antillies
Wedge Antilles, known as TIE SS-2-5 during his time at Skystrike Academy, was a renowned human male starfighter pilot from Corellia who first served in the Imperial Navy as a TIE fighter pilot until defecting to join the rebellion. He would also serve in the Alliance to Restore the Republic and years later the New Republic during their fight against the Galactic Empire. He became a member of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War and fought in several battles of the war. He fought in the Battle of Yavin, where he flew in Red Squadron alongside Luke Skywalker. After Skywalker destroyed the Death Star, he and Antilles were left as the only survivors of Red Squadron. In the years that followed, Antilles became a respected member of Rogue Squadron, flying as Rogue Three during the Battle of Hoth. Antilles and his gunner aboard an T-47 airspeeder, Wes Janson, became the first duo to successfully destroy one of the All Terrain Armored Transports that were attempting to destroy Echo Base, the Rebel outpost on the planet Hoth. Six months after the evacuation from Hoth, Antilles commanded Red Squadron during the Battle of Endor, and he and General Lando Calrissian destroyed the second Death Star during the battle. The decisive battle led to the death of the Emperor, Darth Sidious, and left the Empire shattered in their defeat. If General Organa dies in the next films i'd like this decorated hero to the rebellion to be the leader due to how many battles he has survived and he has an iconic status with the rebellion it be stupid not to have him be the next leader well that's what i think.

Kit Fisto
Kit Fisto was a Nautolan Jedi Master during the last years of the Galactic Republic. He was among the Jedi who fought in the Battle of Geonosis and was one of the few survivors out of the 200 Jedi who traveled there. He became a Jedi General of the Clone Army in the Clone Wars and took part in such conflicts as the Mission to Vassek's third moon and the Battle of Mon Cala. He was also involved in a mission with his former Padawan Nahdar Vebb to capture the escaped prisoner, Nute Gunray—however, the two ended up facing the notorious Jedi hunter General Grievous inside his lair. While Vebb perished at the hands of the General, Fisto very nearly bested him in combat, and escaped with his life, but without Gunray, ultimately making the mission a failure. At some point during the Clone Wars, Fisto accepted a seat on the Jedi Council. While he was at the Jedi Temple, Anakin Skywalker revealed to Mace Windu that Chancellor Sheev Palpatine was a Sith Lord. Windu took Fisto, alongside Jedi Masters Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin to Palpatine's office to arrest him. In the following duel, after Kolar and Tiin had perished, Fisto was killed by the Chancellor. A master practitioner of Shii-Cho, Kit Fisto was considered to be one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi Order. His mastery of the form was advanced, and he applied it in many battles and duels, always with his trademark smile. He may always seem happy with his trademark smile but don't let that fool you for he will and could strike you down but sadly he was surprised but Sheev's death metal vocals and 1080 tornado spin pose attack that it threw him off guard and died faster than you can say Jedi. He really blew my mind in the 2003 clone wars animated series which we seen him go underwater to fight igniting his lightsaber underwater and a jedi breathing under water with no breathing apparatus is something we had never seen before it was so cool.

Plo Koon
Plo Koon was a Kel Dor Jedi Master serving as a member of the Jedi High Council during the last years of the Galactic Republic. He frequently undertook dangerous missions. He was the Jedi who found Ahsoka Tano, with whom he would, from that moment, share a special bond. He was among the Jedi who participated in the Battle of Geonosis. He became a Jedi General in the Clone Wars and took part in such conflicts as the Battle of Abregado and the Battle of Felucia. While he was leading a squadron of ARC-170 starfighters on Cato Neimoidia, he was killed by his own troops after Order 66 was executed by Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Plo is considered the best Jedi starfighter pilot among the council and he has a really cool design i think. Koon was a master of telekinesis, and could move objects without having to face them. He also used a forbidden Force technique called Electric Judgment. To many Jedi, this seemed to be too close to the Force lightning employed by the enemies of the Jedi—the fearsome Sith Lords as you can see even if the movie did not portray him too well he was quite the Jedi.

Boba Fett
Boba Fett was a male human bounty hunter, and the genetic clone of infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett. Boba was created by the cloners on Kamino and was physically identical to the clone troopers created for the Grand Army of the Republic, though Boba was unaltered and did not grow at the same accelerated rate as the other clones. Raised as Jango's son, Boba learned the combat skills necessary to one day become a bounty hunter in his own right. After Solo's friends in the Alliance to Restore the Republic mounted a rescue on Tatooine, a battle broke out over the Great Pit of Carkoon. Boba fought against the Rebel rescuers and was inadvertently knocked into the sarlacc. The guy people deem the ultimo badass of badassery yet is a joke in the film canon despite him looking so cool. Yes his legends stories were wicked for the some i heard or read but the fact of the matter is he got swallowed by an alien sand pit vagina and that's the end of that ok so leave it there.

Darth Maul
Maul was a Dathomirian Zabrak male who lived during the last days of the Galactic Republic and the reign of the Galactic Empire. Maul, the son of Mother Talzin of the Nightsisters, was taken as the Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith, and given the name Darth Maul. After revealing the existence of the Sith to the Jedi Order, Maul fell in a lightsaber duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Naboo. Over a decade later, he returned from exile and formed the criminal army known as the Shadow Collective, intent on reclaiming the power he had lost. His quest for revenge against Kenobi and the Sith continued into the Imperial age, bringing him into conflict with the early rebellion against the Empire. So his story continues as much as i would have preferred him die falling down the hole and all Maul is a Phantom Menace and his role in episode 1 is utterly amazing. I had a chance to meet with Ray Parks and he is such a lovely guy but back to Maul as Ray played him amazingly. Maul is such a ferocious duellist hell bent with such anger and rage but unfortunately his overconfidence was his downfall but as least he can get clothes half price now....oh......too soon?

Director Krennic
Orson Callan Krennic was a human male who served in the Galactic Republic as a Lieutenant Commander. After the Galactic Empire was formed, Krennic was promoted to commander and later the fleet equivalence of admiral. He also served as Director of the Advanced Weapons Research division of the Imperial Military during the Galactic Civil War. He was responsible for the security of the Death Star project, and commanded a squad of death troopers, wielded as his personal weapon against the Rebel Alliance. One of my favourite characters in rogue one was Krennic i thought he was really cool and a sophisticated character i loved his uniform too really sweet he was a force not to reckoned with.

Chirrut Îmwe
Chirrut Îmwe was a blind human male born on the moon Jedha in 52 BBY. One of the Guardians of the Whills, an order of spiritual warrior-monks, he was active during the days of the Galactic Empire and worked as an itinerant preacher in Jedha City. Alongside his friend and protector, Baze Malbus,Îmwe became part of a volunteer group of Rebels tasked with stealing the plans of the first Death Star. One of if not the best characters from Rogue One. Blind and not a Jedi but a strong force believer is something amazing and so is the amount of power within the force he has.
