Aladdin 2019 - Live action done right? REVIEW

Aladdin the ol Disney classic that takes us to the desert and a time of old where we meet our titular character thieving and running away from the law as he does his best to survive with only his trusted monkey by his side to have his back when he falls down. He meets the beautiful Princess Jasmine but he does not know that until very later.
Meanwhile in the shadows by the side of the Sultar plots the evil Jafar to overthrow the king, to invade other countries, to get a magical lamp to make all his wishes come true and become all powerful but to gain said lamp he needs a diamond in the rough to enter the Cave Of Wonders. He kidnaps Aladdin and orders him to do his bidding and that in return he will get the princess's love.
So Aladdin sets forth into the cave gains the lamp but Abu touches forbidden treasure and the place enters meltdown mode and so Aladdin must rub the lamp to get out but doing so unleashes the wonderful highly entertaining charismatic blue Genie who has been stuck inside for thousands of years and now in rubbing the lamp he gets 3 wishes and he and the genie must work together in order to stop the evil Jafar from ruling all the lands.
Colourful and beautifully designed costumes throughout the film with lovely visuals to boot. Soundtrack is great as you can expect and all cast deliver they're best and puts new spins on the old and we even get a new song "speechless" which is amazing and so powerful. Jafar's portrayal here is not scary nor intimidating he's just cold, bland and pretty boring. Aladdin could have been a bit more charismatic also. Genie steals the show. Jasmine is brilliant. CGI is iffy.  A good decent live action remake of a Disney classic right here.
Aladdin
7/10

+Soundtrack
+Visuals
+Colours and costume design
+Genie/Will Smith performance
+Naomi Scott's performance

-Jafar being a rubbish villain
-Some bad CGI
-Aladdin needing more charisma, you know it's bad when the main character of the film is second in the cast billing.

GODZILLA 2: KING OF THE MONSTERS (A MONSTER REVIEW)

Visually stunning, fierce fighting, deadly ear shattering sounds and monsters galore in the return of Godzilla. 5 years has passed since the memories of San Francisco and the rise of the first Titans or so we thought. SPOILERS AHEAD!

The destruction of SF has left people reeling and questioning and angry and upset, people have died, buildings and homes destroyed, people missing and our monster king has disappeared or so they would want you to think. Since the MUTO's and Zilla faced off, our world was left shaken and most went back to normality, however the US Gov has plans to disband Monarch and all their research in favour of destroying the Kaiju's worldwide but Monarch although they could come across as these evil secret branch of government baddies they are not all that bad and they do want good for the world and believe the titans are here to save us rather than destroy us and all we should do is let them fight or help them fight.
Kong is mentioned several times in the film as we are building up to the big long awaited rematch between two titan kings BUT first our GODzilla must be prepared to face the most devastating, fierce, deadly foes that we as humans and he as Kaiju have ever seen before. The Great King Ghidora who has been frozen in time for centuries but some rogue army lead by Charles Dance has other plans in waking up the titans from their slumber. Now some awoke naturally but others need freeing by ways of soundwaves or explosions. There's a lot going on and a lot that has went on in our past in the MONSTER-VERSE that our ancestors wrote or drawn images about but they also wanted to forget some monsters more than others as they were great threats that came from the skies that they feared unstoppable. They needed an Alpha to counter the Omega and we have it. Despite an epic butt kicking Zilla will never quit as we seen in the 2014 incarnation and now in this 2019 sequel too. He is our GOD and WE ARE HIS PET.
Natural orders of the world has causes titans to come back to rise up from their slumber to duke it out, to feast upon us and our wicked ways and to stop us from destroying ourselves and our world. No matter what we throw at the titans they always seem to brush it off so we need to form a coexistence in order to survive and live in peace and harmony and we must always stop those who threaten the natural order.
Mothra is a stunning beautiful creature although up close and personal when angered is a scary mo fo who fights for the good, she is the Queen of the monsters and her silk is powerful and stronger than anything we can create as humans, her wings can create such beautiful healing light and act as a protective shield and can absorb a lot of powerful blasts but too much of it and she will be damaged and become unable to fly. Rodan is a fierce Pteranodon who's wings create hurricanes and he can create a sonic boom from launching off the ground he is an aerial assassin and a toughy.  Ghidora is a deadly force to not be reckoned with he creates such powerful tropical storms and harnesses the power of electricity to shoot such powerful deadly lightning blasts to all in it's path who threatens Ghidora's throne for he is the Alpha, he is monster Zero and he is King and not of our world for his abilities can prove that. You take one head from Ghidora and you can bet it's going to come back and you can bet he aint ever backing down from conflict no matter the size nor power he will head at you face to face and coil around his opponents and blast them and bite them and choke them basically he will make you suffer and cry out in pain! Godzilla the magnificent saviour of our world and species the OMEGA and our King of monsters is here, jacked up, more powerful than ever, more stronger, more menacing and more radiated let's say. He will not only go blue but he will also go to meltdown mode and unleash some powers we have never seen before but have only heard about in legends.
The running theme through all of the Zilla movies is that humans side to the story is subplot that you should not care about because come on we got massive ancient monsters on our screens the likes we wont ever see or have ever seen before duking it out for dominance it's just time for us to focus on that. Ken Watanabi returns and he is the best human character there he's the only one i cared for.

If you came out of the 2014 Godzilla showing saying that you wanted more Zilla, more monsters, better soundtrack, more destruction well in King Of The Monsters, YOU GOT IT!

However if you wanted a more compelling human emotional side to the story with strong characters BEWARE you will not get that! Like i said the only human character i cared about was Serizawa played by Ken Watanabi yet again Ken steals the show and will have the best lines and best knowledge and for a film that is apart of a shared universe discovering the world building and the mythos of that world is amazing and so eye opening and fascinating to discover to be told and aware of.
So GO GO Godzilla and see it and be apart of cinematic history where we see gigantic menacing beautiful remarkable monsters fighting for dominance and leave your "realistically" mind at home and enjoy all out monster glory!

I really enjoyed this!
8/10

+Some Good lines

-A boring human dilemma subplot
